Vehicle 2 collided with Vehicle 1 while attempting to pass Vehicle 1 on the left. As a result of the impact Vehicle 1 sustained minor damage to the drivers side. Vehicle 2 sustained damage to the passenger's side front bumper and fender. No injuries were reported. No tows were required. It should be noted that Vehicle 1 was on scene due to a fire alarm activation at Newton Wellesley Hospital. The operator of Vehicle 2 stated that while behind Vehicle 1 he noticed another Fire Engine approaching. The operator of Vehicle 2 stated that he collided with Vehicle 1 while trying to move out of the way of the approaching Fire Engine.
