SHE WENT OUTSIDE AND SAW HER CAR SHAKE AGAIN. SHE CONFRONTED THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE #2 AND ADVISED HER THAT HE HIT HER VEHICLE. VEHICLE #2 YELLED AT HER DENYING HITTING HER CAR AND LEFT THE AREA. VEHICLE #1 HAD MINOR FRONT END SCRAPES. VEHICLE #1 REPORTED NO INJURIES AND WAS ADVISED TO CONTACT HER INSURANCE COMPANY. ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT VEHICLE #2 WERE UNSUCCESSFUL. VOICE MAIL LEFT. When he came out he observed a large dent in the passengers side rear bumper that was not there before. Officer Selig tracked down the owner of MA Registration 3EF576 at 20 Hale Street and the operator of MV2 admitted to being in the parking lot but denied striking MV1. It should be noted that while at Mr. Wendt's residence both Officer Selig and I observed MA reg 3EF576 parked in driveway of 20 Hale Street with damage to the left rear bumper consistent with how the witnesses stated MV2 struck MV1. Based on the 2 witness statements that express that the operator of the Nissan Pickup knew he struck another vehicle and still left the scene I issued the operator of MV2, Mr. Spencer Wendt, Massachusetts Uniform Citation T1443928, a criminal application to appear in Newton District Court for 90-24 Leaving the Scene of Property Damage.
