She then stated that Vehicle # 2 "came out of nowhere" and didn't slow down before the crash. She believed vehicle # 2 was speeding. Operator of MV1 states he was driving northbound on Waltham St and attempted to take a right turn onto Crafts St. Operator of MV1 lost control of the vehicle due to the snow on the roads and struck MV2. Operator of MV2 states she was driving westbound on Crafts St attempting to slow down and stop at the red light when MV1 attempted to make a right turn on Crafts St and slid and struck her vehicle. MV2 then struck the curb on Crafts St due to the collision. MV1 sustained front end damage but was able to be driven away from the scene. Todys towed MV2 due to major front end damage. All parties were checked out by the medics and signed refusals.

MV1 was traveling westbound on Boylston Street while attempting to turn Southbound on Chestnut Street. MV1 slid on the snow off the road and crashed into a State sign. There was damage to the front of MV1. MV1 damaged a State street sign located at the corner of Boylston Street and Chestnut Street. I took pictures of the damaged sign and delivered the SD card to IT to be attached to this report. The state was notified about the damage to their sign.

All three operators attempted to bypass a detour that was put in place at the intersection of Centre Street and Cabot Street to prevent vehicles from traveling Northbound on Centre Street due to heavy amounts of snow. When MV1 took a right and then a left turn onto Sergeant street to bypass N 503 with all emergency lights activated in an attempt to merge onto Centre street, MV2 and MV3 followed. MV1 was slowing down while approaching the stop sign but MV2 and MV3 were unable to stop causing MV2 to slide in the snow and rear end MV1 and MV3 to slide and rear end MV2. MV1 sustained minor rear bumper damage. MV2 sustained moderate front bumper damage and minor rear bumper damage. MV3 sustained minor front bumper damage. All three operators were uninjured and all three vehicle were able to be driven from the scene.

On 1/26/2021, Newton Fire and Police were dispatched to Charlesbank Rd. and St. James St. for a single motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, I observed Motor Vehicle #1 parked in the roadway with damage to its front end and under carriage. The operator stated; due to the snowy, wet, slippery conditions, her vehicle slid into the concrete median. The operator reported no injuries, however the vehicle was towed away from the scene by Tody's Towing Service.

MV1 operator stated she attempted to stop at the Staniford St at Lexington St (both public ways) stop sign. However, due to the snowy and slippery road conditions, MV1 operator stated she was unable to stop. MV1 operator entered Lexington St and sideswiped (opposite directions) MV3. MV1 sustained front bumper damage (no tow required), no injury reported at this time. MV2 operator stated he was driving northbound on Lexington St when he observed MV1 unable to stop at the Staniford St stop sign. MV2 operator stated he swerved to the right to avoid collision. MV2 jumped the right side curb, sideswiped a tree and ended in the bushes of 236 Lexington St. MV2 sustained front end damage to the MV and plow, and driver side (no tow required). No injuries reported at this time. MV3 operator stated she was operating southbound on Lexington St when she obserbed MV1 enter Lexington St. However, due to the weather conditions, MV3 was unable to stop in time and sideswiped MV1 (opposite direction) and sustain front bumper damage (no tow required). No injuries reported at this time.

On January 26, 2021 at approximately 1730 hours the weather condition at the time was snowy and the road conditions were slippery. Reporting party is the resident of 66 Webster St, and the property between 56 to 66 Webster St is maintained by the condo association. MV1 was operating on Webster St (a public way). MV1 struck two fences in front of 60 Webster St, causing an unknown amount of damage. The reporting party stated MV1 operator exited the vehicle and exchanged information. The reporting party wanted to notify Newton Police for insurance reasons.
