Vehicle 1 was traveling eastbound on Union St and was waiting to merge onto Beacon St when he was struck from behind by another vehicle. the other vehicle quickly took off around him heading westbound on Beacon then turned quickly onto Sumner St. Operator of vehicle 1 stated he thinks he hit his head but was uninjured otherwise. Vehicle 1 had very minor rear damage. I canvassed the area for the other vehicle with negative results.

Narrative:
MV#1 was parked and unoccupied at the rear of the Franklin School, #125 Derby St on 10/18/21. According to school staff, sometime around 12:30PM another MV that was parked in the rear lot attempted to back out of their parking spot and struck MV#1. School staff states the crash is on video and they are trying to determine the identity of the operator. The operator of MV#2 is believed to be a visiting nurse. Request this hit & run to be followed up by the Traffic Bureau. Traffic Bureau update (Officer Gaudet): On Tuesday, October 26, 2021 I made contact with the Franklin School to follow up with this crash. The staff there stated they have surmised the operator that left the scene with out exchanging information was a Covid tester that has been assisting with elementary schools in the city. The only information they had was that his name was Alan. The staff stated they were in the process of figuring out what school Alan was going to be at today and they would provide him with my contact information. A short time later, I received a phone call from a party named Alan Chua. Mr. Chua stated he was the operator involved in the crash on 10/22/21 at the Franklin Elementary School. Mr. Chua stated he was backing out of a spot in the parking lot behind the school when the rear of his vehicle crashed into MV1, which was parked and unoccupied in the lot. Mr. Chua stated he had an engagement he had to go to so he left the area and did not stop to exchange information or attempt to find the owner of MV1. Mr. Chua stated he is not sure if there is any damage to his vehicle as a result of the crash. Mr. Chua reported no injuries as a result of the crash. Mr. Chua was advised and will be mailed Massachusetts Uniform Citation 173173AB for Chapter 90, Section 24 (Leaving the Scene of Property Damage) and Newton City Ordinance Chapter 19, Section 75 (Failure to Use Care).

ON 10-22-21 AT APPROX. 1700HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT 433 CENTRE ST. I SPOKE TO THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE #1. DRIVER STATES SHE WAS TRAVELING E-BOUND ON CENTRE ST AFTER COMING OFF THE PIKE. SHE STATES SHE SLOWED FOR THE TRAFFIC AND WAS HIT IN THE REAR BY VEHICLE #2. VEHICLE #2 STATES SHE WAS ALSO TRAVELING E-BOUND ON CENTRE ST. AFTER COMING OFF THE MASS PIKE. SHE STATES SHE WAS BEHIND VEHICLE #1. SHE DID NOT NOTICE VEHICLE #1 SLOWING FOR THE TRAFFIC AND WHEN SHE DID REALIZE SHE WAS UNABLE TO AVOID HITTING HER. VEHICLE #1 HAD RIGHT REAR FENDER DAMAGE. VEHICLE #2 HAD LEFT FRONT FENDER DAMAGE. ALL PARTIES REPORTED NO INJURIES AND ALL VEHICLES WERE OPERATIONAL. PARTIES ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

Narrative:
I responded to 234 Langley Road for a two car M/V crash with entrapment. Upon arrival with other officers, Fire, and medics I saw the following. MV1 was flipped over on the road way and the operator was still in the vehicle, but the passenger was outside the vehicle. MV1 Hit a parked MV2 unoccupied. MV1 was traveling north on Langley Rd when MV1 swerved to its right and made contact with the left rear bumper of the MV 2. The impact of the two MV's caused MV1 to flip over and land on its roof. Based on my observation the scene indicated : day light, clear and there were no road defects. I took numerous pictures which were submitted to IT bureau so they can be attached to this report. Both MV1 driver and passenger were taken to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. Tody's arrived on scene and took possession of both MV's. A canvas of the area resulted with one neighbor at 255 Langley who witnessed the accident. Mr. Vish Showdhary stated that he saw MV1 driving on Langley Rd when MV1 crashed into the parked MV. He stated that there were no other vehicles on the road and that MV1 drove right into the parked vehicle. The scene was cleaned and I went to Beth Israel Hospital to speak with the operator and passengers of MV1. The operator of MV1 stated that they have no recollection of what happened. She stated that she does not know how she hit the parked MV and that the last thing she remembers is being pulled out of the rolled over MV by the Fire Department. The passenger in MV1 stated that he does not remember how the crash occurred. He stated that he was unsure how MV1 crashed into MV2. He stated thathe was able to get out of the MV without a problem. After a review of the crash I am citing MV1 with the following. M.G.L 89/4A Marked lanes and M.G.L 90/24E Negligent Operation.(Citation # 1445881) Furthermore a request for immediate threat license revocation was filled and submitted to the RMV. The MV Citation was delivered to the operator of MV1 in hand at the Beth Israel Hospital.

MV-1 while entering on ramp to Route 95 South was stuck on rear driverside compartment by MV-2 also entering on ramp to Route 95 South. I observed visible damage to MV-1's driverside rear compartment. 4 digital images were captured via department camera. The memory card will be submitted to I.T to be attached.
