Narrative:
MV #1 was traveling southbound on Needham St. when it crashed head on into parked MV #2 before crashing into a utility pole in front of 191 Needham St. Vehicle #2 was parked north bound on Needham St. in the south bound lane with its emergency lights on. Operator of Vehicle #1 had minor injuries and was transported to NWH. Operator of Vehicle #2 had minor injuries and was transported to NWW. Vehicle #1 sustained major damage and was towed by Tody's Towing. Vehicle #2 sustained minor damage was able to drive away from the scene. Operator of Vehicle #1 was issued MA citation T2079096 for MGL 90-24 OUI liquor, MGL 90-24(2)(a) Operating to endanger / negligent operation, and MGL 89-4A marked lanes violation. OPER OF MV1 STATED THAT HE WAS TURNING IN A CIRCLE IN THE DRIVEWAY, WHEN MV2 PULLED OUT FROM THE GARAGE, AND TRIED TO SQUEEZE BY. THE VEHICLES COLLIDED CAUSING MODERATE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT PASS OF MV1 AND MODERATED DAMAGE TO THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR AREA OF MV2. OPER OF MV2 STATED THAT SHE WAS PULLING OUT OF THE GARAGE, WHEN MV1 DIDNT SEE HER AND STRUCK THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR.

Based on observations, and statements made, the following occoured. M/V#1 was traveling south on Dedham St., with a student operator. The operator drifted to far to the right of the road, and panicked, depressing the accelerator, instead of the break. The instructor depressed the brake on her side, but due to leaves on the roadway, and the accelerator being pressed, the vehicle was unable to stop, and collided with pole #9, in front of 94 Dedham St. there was no damage to the utility pole.

Vehicle #1 was parked facing south in front of 7 Spaulidng La. Vehicle #1 had a trailer with an excavator attached to it. Vehicle #1 was unoccupied but had one occupant in the excavator on the trailer. The operator/owner of vehicle #1 was moving the excavator off the trailer when the trailer and truck started to roll southbound down the hill on Spaulding La. The operator of vehicle #1 jumped out of the excavator onto the roadway. Vehicle #1 along with its trailer rolled down and veered off the road and over the curb. The rear driver side end of the of vehicle #1 collided with the rear end of vehicle #2 bringing the trailer and truck to a stop. The rear end of vehicle #2 had moderate damage. The rear end of vehicle #1 had minor damage. Vehicle #2 was parked facing southbound just south of the driveway of 7 Spaulding La. Vehicle #2 was parked on the side of the road on Spaulding La. and was crashed into by the unoccupied truck and trailer vehicle #1. The occupant of vehicle #2 was not injured. The occupant of vehicle #1 was transported to Beth Israel Boston by Newton Amb. 1. There were no tows needed. Reference incident report #19046951 for further details on this crash.

Operator of MV1 stated she was traveling westbound on Washington Street passing the area of 719 Washington Street. As she was traveling in her lane, Newton Fire Engine 4 was in the lane next to her on her left. The engine veered to the right and went into her travel lane. Operator of MV1 said that she was forced to turn to the right to avoid colliding with the fire truck. She then struck MV2, which was parked on the side of Washington Street causing damage to his drivers side mirror and her passenger side mirror. The operator of MV2 was in his vehicle at the time of the accident. He stated that he also witnessed Engine 4 enter MV1's travel lane forcing her to collide into his vehicle. Neither party was injured and no contact was made with Newton Engine 4.
