Narrative:
Operator of vehicle 1 states she was traveling westbound on Beacon St and came to a full stop and turned on her left directional to turn into the service station at #732 Beacon St. While waiting to make the left turn she was struck from behind by vehicle 2 and jolted forward and to the left head on into a tree in front of #732 Beacon St. Operator of vehicle 2 states she was traveling westbound on Beacon St and did not see vehicle 1 stopped in front of her until it was to late and rear ended her vehicle. Both operators were seen by medics and signed patient refusals. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Todys Towing.

MV1, was parked outside house #330 on Linwood Avenue between the hours of 0800-1430hrs. When reporting party, Rielly Smolinsky returned to her vehicle (owned/registered to her father, Edward Smolinsky) after 1430hrs, MV1 had significant damage to its front driver side, over the tire area. The vehicle was not disabled and no injuries reported as it was unoccupied. At this time, no one has claimed responsibility for damaging MV1.

MV1 was parked off to the shoulder of the roadway inside the parking lot of the Adelaide. Operator of MV1 came out from getting his COVID-19 vaccine and saw his vehicle had suffered front end damage. Operator of MV1 canvassed the area yielding negative results for any vehicle that could have struck his vehicle. Operator of MV1 spoke with the staff from the Adelaide who informed him there are no cameras in the parking lot. Operator of MV1 wanted this hit and run documented.

On 2/12/2021, at 2315 hrs, Newton Police were dispatched to the area of Watertown St. and Brookside Ave. for a single motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, MV#1 (Red, Jeep Grand Cherokee) was observed parked, on the side of the road facing eastbound in front of 687 Watertown St. MV#1 was observed to have front end damage and two flat tires (driver side). The operator, who was standing outside the vehicle, stated he was traveling eastbound on Watertown St. when he became distracted, lost control of the vehicle and collided into the snow bank.The driver did not report any injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Perfecton Towing of Waltham, Ma. Damage to MV#1 does not appear consistent with the operators recollection of events, but a check of the immediate area by Newton Officers did not yield any damaged property. Damage to MV#1 was photographed with the (N492) camera and will be attached to this report.

Narrative:
Operator of MV1 states he was traveling northbound on Walnut Street at a speed of approximately 45mph when he struck the snowbank with the front right tire causing the vehicle to leave the roadway, hit the utility pole and come to rest on the hood of the vehicle in the front yard of 996 Walnut Street. Operator of MV1 stated he was coming from a friends house where he consumed two alcoholic beverages. Operator of MV1 sustained injuries to his hand and forehead and was evaluated by Fallon medics who recommended transport to the hospital due to the severity of the crash. Pictures were taken of the scene. Tody's towing responded and took possession of the vehicle. Towed motor vehicle inventory form completed. Verizon and Eversource were notified for the utility pole. I issued Massachusetts Uniform Citation #T2012865 for the following: MGL Ch. 90 Sec. 24 OUI Alcohol, MGL Ch. 90 Sec. 24 (2) Operating to Endanger, Negligent, MGL Ch. 89 Sec. 4A Marked Lanes Violation and MGL Ch. 90 Sec. 17 Speeding greater than reasonable
