OPER OF MV#1, STATED THAT SHE GOT INTO HER VEHICLE AND PROCEEDED TO DRIVE FORWARD (EB) ON WINTER ST, WHEN SHE DROVE INTO A METAL, DIGGING, CONSTRUCTION BUCKET. THE BUCKET WAS LOCATED ON THE STREET IN FRONT OF HER VEHICLE PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT. THE BUCKET WAS NOT MARKED WITH CONES, AND THE OPERATOR (MV#1) STATED THAT THE BUCKET WAS NOT VISIBLE FROM HER DRIVER SEAT. MV#1 SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE FRONT LEFT BUMPER/LIGHT AREA. THE CONSTRUCTION BUCKET WAS NOT DAMAGED.

ON 8-28-19 AT APPROX. 1443HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT 367 CALIFORNIA ST. I SPOKE TO THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE #1. DRIVER STATES HE WAS TRAVELING E-BOUND ON CALIFORNIA ST. WHEN VEHICLE #2 ENTERED THE TRAFFIC LANE AND HIT HIM ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF HIS VEHICLE. VEHICLE #2 STATES HE WAS PARKED IN FRONT OF 368 CALIFORNIA ST. AND WAS PREPARING TO ENTER THE TRAFFIC LANE GOING E-BOUND ON CALIFORNIA. DRIVER STATES AS HE ENTERED THE TRAFFIC LANE HE WAS UNABLE TO AVOID HITTING VEHICLE #1. BOTH DRIVERS STATED THERE WAS A LARGE BOX TRUCK PARKED BEHIND VEHICLE #2 AND THEY DID NOT SEE EACH OTHER UNTIL THEY CRASHED. VEHICLE #1 HAD RIGHT SIDE VEHICLE DAMAGE. VEHICLE #2 HAD LEFT FRONT END VEHICLE DAMAGE. ALL VEHICLES WERE STILL OPERATIONAL AND DID NOT REQUIRE TOWS. ALL PARTIES REPORTED NO INJURIES. ALL PARTIES ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES.

At approximately 0500HRs on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, I was dispatched to a 2 vehicle MVA in front of 38 Commonwealth Ave. Upon arrival, I spoke with the operator of MV1 (MA CON: S25585) who stated that he attempted to back up his vehicle (Westbound) and accidently struck MV2 because he was not able to see it in his mirror. Upon speaking to the operator of MV2 (MA CON: S13628), he stated he was traveling Eastbound as MV1 was backing up. He then stopped MV2 and when MV1 did not, he activated his horn which had no effect and MV1 backed into him. I observed MV1 to have no discernable damage. I observed MV2 to have sustained damage to its front bumper, grille, hood, passenger's side fender and both head lamps. MV1 had a single passenger who reports he did not witness event in question, as he was focused on eating at the time. No one involved reports any injuries. I cleared without incident.

Operator #1 stated he was driving w/b on Watertown St just passing the Village Bank, #411 Watertown St when vehicle #2 backed out of the Village Bank parking lot causing the crash. Operator #1 later stated his view was blocked by a truck parked on Watertown St in front of the bank thus he never saw vehicle #2 backing out from the parking lot. Operator #2 stated he was attempting to back out from a parking space at #413 Watertown St when his vehicle was hit by vehicle #1 as he got out onto Watertown St. Operator #2 further reported that his view was obstructed by a truck that was parked facing west on Watertown St in front of the Village Bank. He never saw vehicle #2 coming as he was backing out onto Watertown St.

On 6/15/2020 at approximately 1540 hours, I responded to 2040 Commonwealth ave for a report of a two car accident. Upon arrival, I spoke with MV 1 who stated that he was reversing his tractor trailer into the shaws loading dock area when he struck MV2 with the backend of his cab. There is minimal damage and no injuries reported. I then spoke MV2 who stated that he was behind MV1 driving westbound on Commonwealth ave. He stopped to let the tractor trailer back into the loading dock. He realized he did not leave the trailer enough room to make the turn and that is when MV1 and MV2 struck. He reports no injuries and minor damage to his vehicle.

WHILE TRAVELING HE DID NOT SEE VEHICLE #1 UNTIL IT WAS TOO LATE TO AVOID HITTING HER IN THE LEFT SIDE. VEHICLE #1 HAD LEFT SIDE QTR. PANEL DAMAGE. VEHICLE #2 HAD FRONT END DAMAGE AND WAS TOWED BY TODYS. BOTH PARTIES REPORTED NO INJURIES AND SIGNED PATIENT REFUSALS. BOTH PARTIES WERE ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. The operator of MV#1 stated that she was traveling west on Washington St (#1199) in the left hand lane when MV#2 exited #1199 Washington St and crash occurred. The operator of MV#2 stated that he was attempting to exit #1199 Washington St and turn left, but his view was obstructed by a box truck parked to his left on Washington St. According to operator #2, another motorist traveling west bound had stopped and allowed him to enter when crash occurred with MV#1. No injuries and operator of MV#1 arranged for her own tow.

On September 6th, 2021 at approximately 12:47 hours while working N491 I responded to the parking lot to Stop and Shop Plaza, #171 Watertown St, for a report of a crash near Planet Fitness. On my arrival I located both involved vehicles near the CVS. Vehicle #1 was a 2015 Honda Civic, MA reg. 7zg316, operator identified as JITENDIA MISHRA. He reported travelling N/B in the parking lot to the plaza when he had to stop due to vehicle #2 had stopped in front of him. Vehicle #2 suddenly backed up into his vehicle hitting his drivers side front. Vehicle #2 was a 2009 black Toyota RAV4, NY plate HFJ2619, operator identified as Madeleine Lesser. She stated she was in the parking lot of the plaza when she observed a car backing out from a parking space in front of her. She then stopped her vehicle and allowed that vehicle to proceed out. She then had to back up a little to allow room for that other vehicle to back out. She never saw vehicle #1 right behind her. She then backed into the drivers side front quarter. There were no tows or injuries to this crash.

Vehicle #2 was traveling east on Washington St. in the left center travel lane. Vehicle #1 was traveling east on Washington St. in the right center travel lane. Vehicle #1 attempted to pass Vehicle #2 and change lanes into the left center travel lane and side swiped Vehicle #2. There were no injuries reported at the accident. Vehicle #1 sustained minor damage to its back seat driver side door. Vehicle #2 sustained minor damage to its passenger side front quarter panel and front bumper. Both vehicles were able to drive away from the scene.
