MV1 was parked in the corner spot in the center island of the parking lot. MV2 was turning right around the MV to approach the dumpster and misjudged the distance and struck MV1. MV2 is a Waste Management truck contracted by the City of Newton. I took pictures and they were TOT IT.

OPMV#1 Was traveling Northbound on Grove St when she came to a stop at the intersection of Grove St and Woodland Rd. OPMV#1 Stopped and then proceeded into the intersection and was struck by the OPMV#2. OPMV#1 Stated she stopped at the stop sign and was waiting for the other vehicle to go but they didn't move. So she started to move into the intersection and that's when she was struck by the OPMV#2. OPMV#2 Was traveling Westbound on Woodland Rd when she came to a stop at Woodland Rd and Grove St. OPMV#2 Stopped and then proceeded into the intersection and was struck by the OPMV#1. OPMV#2 Stated she stopped at the stop sign as the other vehicle did and happened to be entering the intersection at the same time when she was struck by the OPMV#1. Vehicle#1 was towed due to extensive damage. There were no injuries due to this accident.

VEHICLE #2 WAS DESCRIBED AS A RED KIA SUV, MA REG 36TX70. THE OPERATOR APPEARED TO BE A MALE WITH DARK HAIR. A REGISTRATION QUERY SHOWED THE OWNER TO BE A BRIANNA COSKIE, 27 N MAIN ST UPTON MA. UPTON POLICE LATER MADE CONTACT WITH THE OWNERS SISTER WHO RELAYED THE MESSAGE TO BRIANNA TO CONTACT NEWTON POLICE. A SHORT TIME LATER I RECEIVED A CALL FROM BRIANNA COSKIE SHE REPORTED THAT HER BOYFRIEND WAS OPERATING HER VEHICLE THIS MORNING. SHE HAD ALREADY CONTACTED HIM PRIOR TO CALLING POLICE. HE TOLD BRIANNA THAT SOMEONE CUT HIM OFF THIS MORNING BUT WASN'T INVOLVED IN ANY ACCIDENT. I TOLD BRIANNA WHERE THE DAMAGE WAS ACCORDING TO THE OTHER DRIVER/ PASSENGER SIDE FRONT QUARTER. BRIANNA STATED SHE WOULD CHECK HER VEHICLE WHEN HER BOYFRIEND BRINGS IT BACK LATER TODAY, THEN CALL BACK. I LATER RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE DRIVER OF VEHICLE #2, IDENTIFIED AS ROBERT TEACHOUT, 27 N MAIN ST , UPTON MA. HE STATED THAT HE WAS IN NEWTON THIS MORNING AND REPORTED BEING CUT OFF BUT WASN'T INVOLVED IN A CRASH. MR TEACHOUT WHO WAS STILL IN THE AREA/ WATERTOWN WAS WILLING TO COME TO THE POLICE STATION AND HAVE POLICE LOOK AT HIS VEHICLE. HE LATER ARRIVED AT THE POLICE STATION AND I WAS UNABLE TO OBSERVE ANY VISIBLE DAMAGE TO THE AREA IN QUESTION/FRONT PASSENGER SIDE QUARTER. I HAD HIM E/MAIL PICTURES OF HIS CAR TO POLICE DISPATCH AND FROM THERE WAS GOING TO FORWARD THEM TO THE OTHER OPERATOR. I LATER UPDATED MS PEPI ABOUT THE OTHER OPERATOR BRINGING HIS VEHICLE TO THE POLICE STATION TO BE LOOKED AT. SHE WAS INFORMED THAT I COULDN'T FIND ANY VISIBLE DAMAGE TO THE AREA SHE SPECIFIED. On the above date and time I responded to Walnut Street Bridge near Newtonville Ave for a two motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival I met with the operator of vehicle one Ms. Lanton, she stated she was stopped on Walnut Street bridge facing north when vehicle two struck her from behind. I spoke with the operator of vehicle two Ms. Stanek, she stated she was stopped and vehicle one rolled back into her. Neither party had injuries, I assisted in swapping their information and all parties were advised of the process.

On 01/04/19 I responded outside of #54 Needham St for a two vehicle crash. Veh #1 was a delivery box van who was driving due North on Needham St. The operator of veh #1 stated he was attempting to take a left into #55 Needham St. when veh #2 came from behind him on his left and he struck veh #2 as he turned. The operator of veh # 1 was taken by Ambulance #1 to Newton-Wellesley Hospital for an evaluation after complaining of pain in his chest area. The passenger of veh #1 stated everything happened "so fast" he didn't see what transpired. Moderate damage to veh #1. The operator of veh #2 stated he was traveling due North on Needham St. and was behind veh #1 for a long stretch of the road. The operator of veh # 2 stated veh #1 put his right directional on three different times but didn't turn. He stated veh #1 had his right directional on and was in the right lane when he went to pass him. Veh #1 then turned into his rear passenger side as he passed. Moderate damage to veh # 2. The operator of veh #2 stated the operator of veh #1 was walking around and yelling about the accident for a period of time and then eventually grabbed his chest and fell to the ground complaining of pain. From the result of my investigation it appears as if veh # 1 attempted to turn from the wrong lane and veh # 2 was passing in the "suicide lane", also wrong lane. There will be no citations issued at this time as both operators were given verbal warnings.

Michelle Lee was operating vehicle #2 N/B on Bullough Pk at Mill St. Lee states that she stopped at the stop sign and then attempted to take a left turn onto Mill St. At that time Lee states that vehicle #1 struck her on the left side. Luis Aguilar was operating vehicle #1 E/B on Mill St. Aguilar states that vehicle #2 pulled out in front of him as he was driving straight. A check with the RMV revealed that Aguilars license is supnded. Aguilar was issued citation # T1272109 Ch. 90 Sec 23 Operating after suspension. No injures both vehicles towed.

Motor vehicle 1 (MV1) was traveling eastbound on Beacon Street, when unknown motor vehicle 2 (MV2 ) pulled out from a parking space in front of 706 Beacon Street, without signaling, and crashed into the front passengers side of MV1. MV1 pulled over to the side of the road to exchange information as MV2 fled the scene eastbound on Beacon Street. The operator of MV1 stated that MV2 appeared to be an older model sedan, possible maroon or red in color, and was operated by a white female in her 60's. MV1 sustained significant front end and passengers side damage. MV2 likely sustained significant front drivers side damage. I was unable to check the surrounding businesses for possible security footage of the crash as all of the surrounding stores were closed when I arrived on scene.

On the above date and time I responded to 25 Curve Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash with property damage " house". Upon arrival I met with the operator Ms. Brown who had an active learners permit and her father Mr. Brown who had an active license who was sitting in the right front of the vehicle.. She stated while pulling into the Church parking lot she misjudged the width of the driveway and doing so had minor contact with the right side of the house belonging to 25 Curve Street. I then spoke to her father who stated the same thing. We went over to 25 Curve Street and met with Mr. Turner the home owner. The process was explained to everyone and everyone had each others information. There were no reported injuries.

On 1/18/19 at approximately 1200hrs, a party who wished to remain anonymous reported observing a tractor trailer travelling on Washington St W/B at #1479 where the street curves to the right struck a traffic light pole in front of Burke & Blackington Funeral Home. The side of the trailer struck the pole. It was reported the operator, a non descript black male, stopped after the collision, picked up the downed pole and moved it onto the sidewalk. Markings observed on the trailer were "Powered Transportation" out of Laurel, Mississippi. Unknown plates. Operator left scene and as of this time, it hasn't been reported by the operator. Photos were taken of the downed pole and submitted to the IT bureau. Daigle Electric notified to respond. Google search of "Powered Transportation" was negative results.

On the above date and time I responded to the area of St.James St at Washington Street for a report of a past hit/run with City traffic signal knocked over. Upon arrival I observed the the traffic signal on St. James Street westbound just before the Washington Street bridge on the roadway. I did observe what appeared to be a sidewalk plow tire impressions on the sidewalk to the traffic signal. I cnanvassed the area with negative results and I am waiting to hear back from Public works who may have been assigned the area to plow the side walks. I also checked for any cameras in the area with negative results. I took pictures of the crash site area and I will have them downloaded at th I.T. Bureau.

On the above date and time I responded to the area of Watertown Street at Pearl St for a report of a traffic signal that was knocked down. Upon arrival on scene I observed the traffic signal knocked over and tire impressions of a possible sidewalk plow. I took pictures of the crash site area and will have them downloaded at the I.T. Bureau. I canvassed the area and found a City of Newton sidewalk plow with the operator. I spoke to the operator who stated he observed the damaged traffic signal and moved it out of the way but he did not have contact with it. I had dispatch notify the traffic signal company due the lights in the intersection being out. I also canvassed the area for cameras with negative results.

On the above date/time I responded to 647 Washington Street for a report of a two vehicle crash. Upon arrival I met with the operator of vehicle two Mr. Weiner, he stated he was stopped in the Whole foods parking lot when vehicle one backed up into his vehicle. They exchanged information but the operator of vehicle one Ms. Adetola left prior to my arrival. I obtained her license information through Mr. Weiner and when I ran the reg plate on vehicle one it came back to Watertown Ford. I advised Mr. Weiner of the process and I will contact Watertown Ford for more contact information on Ms. Adetola to obtain a statement. Update:Jan. 21, 2019 On Jan. 21, 2019 I contacted Watertown Ford advised them of the crash and obtained a phone number for the operator of vehicle one. I spoke to her on the phone she stated the parking lot roadway was covered in snow/ice, she was backing out of the parking spot and vehicle two continued traveling and struck her vehicle. I advised her of the process.

MV2 operator states she had pulled up to the stop sign from the I-95 off ramp and was allowed to enter into the first lane of traffic. The operator of MV#1 stated that she was backing out of a parking spot in the Star Market Parking lot, #2040 Commonwealth Ave when she was involved in a MV crash. Operator #1 stated that she and the other operator both exited their MV's and even though there was obvious damage to MV#1, the operator of MV#2 refused to provide any information, got back into his MV and left the area. Operator #1 describes MV#2 as a large yellow backhoe that did not display a MV plate and she didn't observe a company name anywhere on the MV. The operator id described as W/M, approx. 40 YOA with brown hair. There is a backhoe type MV presently in the Star Market parking lot and operator #1 stated that is not the other MV involved. I also spoke with a Star Market manager who will view their exterior video footage of the parking area and notify me if it provides any information.
