MV1 was traveling Northbound on Chestnut Street and was turning Westbound onto Boylston Street. While making the turn MV1 lost control due to the snow on the ground and crashed into telephone pole 153. There is damage to the front of MV1. There was no damage done to the pole.

Narrative:
MV1 was traveling westbound on Boylston Street while attempting to turn Southbound on Chestnut Street. MV1 slid on the snow off the road and crashed into a State sign. There was damage to the front of MV1. MV1 damaged a State street sign located at the corner of Boylston Street and Chestnut Street. I took pictures of the damaged sign and delivered the SD card to IT to be attached to this report. The state was notified about the damage to their sign.

On Monday, May 31, 2021 at approximately 00:40hrs I, Officer Daly, along with Officer Kayla Donahue responded to a motor vehicle accident. We found the vehicles on Washington Street by Park Street. Upon arrival I observed both of the involved motor vehicles pulled off to the side of Washington Street by Park Street. I spoke with the operator of MV1 who said he was stopped at the red light when he was hit from behind by MV2. I spoke with the operator of MV2 who said she was traveling Eastbound on Washington Street traveling approximately 20mph. Operator of MV2 said she began pressing down on her breaks due to the red light but said her car continued to slide and would not stop. Operator of MV2 said it was at this point her car collided with MV1. It should be noted it was raining throughout the day and it drizzling at the time of the accident causing the roadways to be wet and slippery. Both MV1 and MV2 were towed away from the scene by Tody's. Both of the operators retrieved their valuables from their vehicles prior to the vehicles being towed away. Both of the operators did not sustain any injuries. The passenger of MV1 began feeling ill while on scene and was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital by Fallon Medics.

MV#1 was traveling south on Centre St. MV#2 was traveling north on Centre St. MV#2 crossed the double yellow lines and crashed into MV#1. Operator of MV#1 stated that he while he was traveling south on Centre St, he observed MV#2 cross the lines and strike him. Operator of MV#2 stated that while he was traveling north on Centre St, he lost control of his vehicle. Operator of MV#2 stated he lost control due to the heavy rain fall that was occurring. Operator of MV#2 stated that after he lost control of his vehicle, he crashed into MV#1. Both parties signed a patient refusal with medics. Both vehicles were towed off scene by Todys.
