On 4/16/19 I was sent to 25 Chestnut St the Newton Police Annex for a past motor vehicle hit and run. On arrival I was met by LAU, Justin who stated that upon leaving work around 1530 hrs, he observed a fresh scratch to his personal vehicle. The vehicle, MA 9XS415, was parked backed into the marked parking spot against the exterior wall of 25 Chestnut St and closest to the handicapped ramp. This will now be referred to as vehicle #1. The scratch is on the passenger side doors. 25 Chestnut St is equipped with an exterior surveillance system which caught this incident on camera. At 1210 hrs it shows an older white male in a blue/green pickup make contact with vehicle #1 two times as he was attempting to park. The vehicle drove into the parking spot, hitting the passenger corner of vehicle #1's front bumper, then the passenger door, before coming to a stop.The male that exited the pickup had a distinct grey beard and hair. A still frame of the male was shown to employees inside of 25 Chestnut St who immediately recognized and were able to identify him based off of a check he had dropped off earlier. The party is identified as MASTROPIERI, Rocco DOB 2/16/40. I spoke with MASTROPIERI via phone and explained why I was calling. He informed me that he was at the Annex dropping off a check for the NPMA and did not realize that he made contact with vehicle #1 when parking. MASTROPIERI apologized and stated that he would have reported the incident, had he known. MASTROPIERI responded to headquarters where he was issued a written warning in hand for C.O. 19-75 Failure to Use Care in Turning. The Police Annex is a building/lot with public access in the City of Newton.

Vehicle one was traveling westbound on Franklin street and taking a right hand turn to head north on Waverly Ave when the female operator overturned the wheel and struck pole number 21 on the corner of Nonantum St and Waverly ave. The male passenger then stated for the female party to leave the driver seat of the vehicle. The male party took possession of the vehicle and drove off. Witnesses stated that a female was driving and a male party then took over possession of the car and drove off. Witnesses then wrote down the license plate of the vehicle. Officer Anderson responded to the operators residence to check on well being and spoke to the male party. The male party stated he left the scene and stated that his daughter was learning to drive and she only has her learners permit when she overturned the wheel taking a right hand turn and struck the pole. Male party stated he didn't think there was damage to the pole so he left the scene, since the female party was shook up. Pictures were taken and submitted to IT.

Oper of motorcycle ( Vehicle #1) stated she was traveling WB on Church Street and while going through intersection at Eldridge Street she moved to the right because of on coming vehicle. She underestimated the size of her sidecar on the motorcycle and sideswiped vehicle #2 which was parked on Church Street. A note was left on vehicle # 2 informing her about report. Sidecar wasn't added to diagram because it is not an option. No injuries. No tickets.

Oper # 1 stated she was traveling EB on Washington Street and turned onto Park Street. She lost control while making the turn and struck the curb and a city owned tree. Pics taken and turned into IT. Towed by Tody's.

Oper # 1 said he was backing out of his job site at 85 Waban Hill Road North with the help of his coworker. When he put the truck back into drive and pulled forward the rear of truck scratched Veh # 2 which was a delivery truck parked on the same job site. Vehicle # 1 was Eversource truck. Eversource supervisor responded.

Operator 1 stated that he was traveling Northbound on Grant Ave and attempted to make the left onto Beacon St Eastbound. While in the middle of the turn Operator 1 lost control of his motorcycle and crashed in the middle of the intersection. Operator 1 and his passenger sustained minor injuries and were transported to the BI Boston. Vehicle 1 was towed by Tody's with minor damage.

At approximately 0010HRs on Thursday, June 13, 2019, I was dispatched to 141 Dedham St. for a report of a two car crash. Upon arrival, I observed MV1 (NH Pass:3266403) to be parked on the side of the roadway in front of the aforementioned address and it appeared to have been rear ended by MV2 (MA Pass: 513WA3). Being that MV2's airbags were deployed, I requested Newton Fire to evaluate the operator of MV2, who was ultimately medically cleared and signed a patient refusal. Upon speaking to the operator of MV2, he stated that he was traveling Northbound on Dedham St. and feared that he was coming too close to the solid yellow divider lines and over steered to the right, accidently hitting MV1, which was parked. The owner of MV1 was on scene and stated that he was inside and came out to find the crash. I noted damage to the driver's side quarter panel of MV1 and damage to the front end/hood area of MV2. Todys serviced arrived and took custody of MV2. I completed/filled an NPD Towed Motor Vehicle Form. I cleared without incident.

The operator of MV#1 stated he was travelling eastbound on Commonwealth Ave looking for 950 Commonwealth Ave when a vehicle behind him honked its horn. The operator of MV#1 stated he then abruptly made a right turn into the driveway of 940 Commonwealth Ave when he struck a retaining wall (The retaining wall is between 940 Commonwealth and 950 Commonwealth Ave) causing MV#1 to go over the wall and finally resting on top of it. The retaining wall sustained heavy damages, approximately 4 feet in length. MV#1 sustained heavy front right side and undercarriage damages. There were no reported injuries to the operator of MV#1 or its passengers. Newton Paramedics evaluated all occupants of MV#1 and all occupants signed refusals of treatment. The owners of 940 Commonwealth were advised of this accident and provided with the report number. Based on the information provided to me. the operator of MV#1 was issued in hand MA uniform citation #T1268352 for violation of c89 s4A failure to stay within marked lanes. Tody's Towing took possession of MV#1.

MV#1 was parked unoccupied in a parking spot in the parking lot of 2020 Commonwealth Ave. Operator of MV#2 stated she pulled in and attempted to go around MV#2 when she heard a sound. Operator of MV#2 stated she got out of the car and looked at MV#1 and did not see any damage so she thought maybe she hit something else or drove over something. She then parked in another spot in the shared parking lot. I was able to see paint transfer and damage on both vehicles that confirmed a crash had occurred. Operator of MV#2 was apologetic and stated she had only had her license for two months. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene and both parties were advised an accident report would be on file.

The witness stated she was parked in the lot of 199 Boylston St and saw vehicle 1 parked in front of her. Vehicle 2 tried to pull in next to vehicle 1 and struck the rear right bumper of vehicle 1. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and there were no injuries.

Operator of MV#1 stated his car was parked in a metered spot in the parking lot behind West Newton Post Office, 525 Waltham St. Operator of MV#2 stated she was pulling into the parking lot and turning into a spot next to MV#1. She sideswiped MV#1. Minor damage to both vehicles. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.

MV1 (MA Reg:2LM951; 2016 Ford Fusion) was traveling NORTH when it ran off the road hitting the median curb, then a "No Parking This Side" sign, then a tree on the Albemarle Rd median. MV1 operator, Cynthia Muzaki, stated that she saw something run across the road, swerved and collided with a pole then tree. Air bag deployment from the driver and passenger side deployed. Cynthia signed a refusal with the medics. Tody's towed the vehicle. Cynthia ordered an Uber back to her residence in Watertown. DPW notified about the sign that was damaged. Pictures of the scene were sent to IT.

Operator of vehicle #1 was travelling South bound on Grove St. and stated that he had a green light. Operator #1 stated as he was passing through the intersection of Grove St. and Central St. an unknown vehicle travelling on Central St. heading East bound ran the red light causing Operator #1 to swerve to the right to avoid a collision. Vehicle #1 then struck the traffic light completely uprooting the light which then landed on the rear of the vehicle. Five photo's of the scene were taken by me and handed in to IT. Daigle Electric notified and responded. Vehicle#1 was towed by tody's due to extensive damage. There were no injuries due to this accident.

Owner of vehicle 1 stated that he return to his vehicle and noticed damage to the rear passenger side bumper. He checked vehicle 2 parked next to vehicle 1 and noticed damage to vehicle 2's front driver side bumper. I checked both vehicles and the damage appears to be consistent. I was unable to locate the owner of vehicle 2. Several calls were made to his residence, with negative results. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and there were no injuries.

OPER OF MV#1 WAS ON BRANDEIS RD, AND TURNING LEFT ONTO GREENWOOD ST. OPER OF MV#1 CUT THE TURN TOO SHARP AND LIGHTLY STRUCK THE STOP SIGN POLE CAUSING IT TO TILT. CITY NOTIFIED FOR REPAIRS AND THE SIGN WAS PHOTOGRAPHED. MV1 SUSTAINED MINOR FRONT DAMAGE. CITATION #T2081171 WAS ISSUED TO THE OPERATOR FOR MARKED LANES VIOLATION.

Operator 1 states he was stopped on Winchester St facing Southbound, waiting to make a left into 56 Winchester St. Vehicle 2 was a large box truck exiting 56 Winchester St attempting to make a right onto Winchester St. Vehicle did not have enough room to make the turn, crossed to the opposite lane, striking vehicle 1 on the passenger side, and then drove over the curb. Operator 2 states he was pulling out of 56 Winchester onto Winchester St. Vehicle 1 was stopped in the wrong lane and operator 2 had no choice but to go into the opposite lane where he struck vehicle 1with the rear of his truck. There were no injuries. Vehicle 1 sustained major damage and was towed by Tody's. Vehicle 2 sustained minor damage and was not towed

The operator of MV#1 stated that he was traveling west on Auburn St directly behind MV#2 at the intersection of Commonwealth Ave. According to operator #1, MV#2 had its let turn directional on to turn onto Commonwealth Ave east bound so he proceeded to drive around him as he was continuing to travel on Auburn St. Operator #1 states that as he was passing MV#2 he observed MV#2 turn slightly to his right, crashing into MV#1. The operator of MV#2 stated that he was traveling west on Auburn St attempting to take a left onto Commonwealth Ave. Operator #2 states that he may have turned his MV to the right slightly as MV#1 passed on his right, but stated that MV#1 was traveling extremely fast. No injuries, no tows.

The owner of Operator 1 stated that she parked vehicle 1 in the garage of 160 Boylston St last night. When she returned to her vehicle this morning she noticed that the front driverside fender and bumper was damaged. At this time there in no information on vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 sustained minor damage.

Vehicle # 1 was parked in a parking spot at 286 Waverley Ave. Vehicle # 2 backed out of parking spot next to vehicle # 1 and when tried to make the turn after backing up, it struck Veh # 1. This was witnessed by two witnesses who ran outside and the car was gone. They were able to give dispatch plate of vehicle # 2 which matches description of a tan SUV with a woman driver. Due to very minor damage (small scrapes), Oper # 2 will not be charged with leaving the scene, she may have not been aware of damage) and RP (owners daughter) agreed that she just wanted it documented. Attempted to locate MV #2 at her home but was unsuccessful. Also tried phone number given and it wasn't answered and I wasn't able to leave a voicemail.

The operator of MV1 states that he was driving eastbound on Brookline street when another motor vehicle entered his lane of traffic head on causing him to swerve to the right and hit two city trees. No other vehicle remained on scene. MV1 sustained major damage and was towed from the scene by Todys. Due to significant airbag deployment medics evaluated the operator of MV1 who signed a patient refusal. Pictures of the city trees were submitted to IT.

Oper of MV #1 stated that he tried to pull into a parking spot on Washington Street. His back wheel caught the bumper of Veh # 2 and ripped the front bumper off of Veh # 2. Owner of Veh # 2 was located and was going to call AAA for a tow.

Based on observations, and statements made, the following occurred. M/V#1 was traveling north on Dedham St, and as it approached Rachel Rd. it began to turn left. As it did, it collided with M/V#2 which was stopped at the Rachel Rd. stop side, in the east bound lane of Rachel Rd.

The operator of MV#1 stated she was travelling northbound on the driveway of 1000 Commonwealth Ave (Newton City Hall's front entrance on the Commonwealth Ave's side) when she sneezed and veered off her travel lane striking MV#2. MV#1 sustained minor damage to its passsenger's side rear bumper. There were no reported injuries to the operator of MV#1. MV#2 was parked and unoccupied on 1000 Commonwealth Ave (Newton City Hall's front entrance on the Commonwealth Ave's side) when it was struck by MV#1. MV#2 sustained heavy front end damages with its front bumper ripped off.

Single MVA. MV lost control on the roundabout on RT 16 Washington St heading EASTBOUND, hit an island and was laid to rest on the sidewalk of the MassPike bridge on Rt-16. Heavy front end damage, airbag deployment, undercarriage and front wheels damaged as well. A witness notified Lt. DAngelo in front of NPD HQ that there was a crash and two occupants got out, a man and a woman. Lt. DAngelo was able to locate the male walking on Washington St who was involved in the crash, later identified as Jonathan Kardas. He stated that he was the passenger and his friend who was driving the vehicle but ran away. Multiple units looked for the female individual who was Sonia Walker, the owner of the MV. Kardas signed a refusal with the medics. Tody's towed the vehicle. Sonia's Iphone was secured into property locker #2 in support services for safekeeping. Dispatch made multiple attempts to contact Walker but had negative results.

Operator of MV1, David Donahue of Tody's Towing, was dispatched to 256 Parker Street at the request by me to tow a pick up truck that was obstructing traffic. While he was on scene and loading up the pick up truck on the rear of the flat bed of MV1, operator of MV2 was attempting to drive around the tow truck. MV2 struck the driver side wheel area of the flat bed tow truck. Operator of MV2 stated he was unaware his steering wheel was turned all the way to the right when he stepped on the gas. This caused him to turn into the tow truck. MV1 had damage to the drivers side and wheel and MV2 had sustained damage to his passenger side. It should be noted that it appears that MV2 already had previous damage to the same area as duct tape was observed in the area that struck MV1. Neither party was injured and neither required a tow from the scene.

Operator of vehicle #1 City of Newton DPW employee Daniel Saulnier stated that on 12/02/2020 at 09:54 hours he was driving a City of Newton dump truck ( 2015 Frightliner MA reg MVN M9224 ) on Albany St near the driveway the runs between 281 Newtonville Ave and 285 Newtonville Ave. Saulnier stated that there were cars parked horizontally at the rear of 281 Newtonville Ave as well as two cars that were parked vertically behind the horizontal parked cars. Saulnier also stated that there was an electrical box at the north west corner of 285 Newtonville Ave. Saulnier stated that vehicle #2 ( MA par reg K5245 2017 BMW SUV ) was parked unoccupied facing east. Saulnier stated that due to the congestion caused by the vertically parked cars and the electrical box, the front driver's side of his truck's bumper made contact with the rear passenger side of vehicle two. Vehicle #1 had small scuff marks on it's driver's side front bumper. Vehicle #2 had scrapes to it's rear passenger side . Saulnier stated that he was not injured in the crash and neither vehicle required a tow. I took photos of both vehicles and had the disk downloaded by the NPD'S IT bureau.

On January 22, 2021 at approximately 08:17 hours I responded to a single motor vehicle crash in the area of Commonwealth Ave at Grant Ave. It was reported that a motor vehicle struck a tree and a fire hydrant. Upon arrival I spoke with MV1, who said that she was traveling southbound on Grant Ave when she saw a vehicle traveling northbound traveling close to the solid double line. MV 1 got nervous and swerved to the right causing her to jump the curb and strike a city tree. MV1 then reversed into a fire hydrant, causing it to become dislodged. Traffic Officer Ciccone responded and took pictures of the damages and Tody's removed the vehicle from the scene.

The operator of Vehicle #1 stated that as he attempted to make the right turn from 371 Washington St onto Washington St he struck Vehicle #2. It should be noted that Vehicle #2 was parked at the time.

Motor vehicle 1 (MV1) was traveling southbound on Ellis St. when the operator lost control of the vehicle, hit the curb and then crashed into a telephone pole in front of 38 Ellis St. As a result of the crash MV1 sustained significant front end damage. There did not appear to be any damage to the telephone pole, however, dispatch notified Eversource to come out to check the integrity of the pole. The Fallon medics responded to the scene, and the operator of MV1 signed a patient refusal. MV1 was towed by Todys.

Operator of MV1 stated he as traveling northbound on Lowell Ave and as he was approaching 147 Lowell Ave, a car was coming in the opposite direction. There were cars parked legally on both sides of the road. As a MV was driving southbound, it had to cross double yellow to pass, Operator of MV1 moved over to the right and struck the parked MV2. Due to airbag deployment, I requested the medics. The operator of MV1 was transported to NWH. He appeared to be confused. The passenger in MV1 was not injured. MV1 was towed by Todys. MV2 was parked in a legal spot and called for a private tow.

MV1 was traveling southbound when he thought he saw an animal in the road and swerved. MV1 lost control and struck a stone wall outside of 140 Vine St across the other lane of traffic. Both driver side and passenger side airbags deployed. Medics arrived and both parties signed patient refusals. MV1 sustained major damage and was towed by Tody's. Homeowner of 140 Vine St was advised of the damage and given the report number.

Operator of vehicle #1 stated she was sitting in her parked vehicle facing Eastbound when Vehicle #1 was struck from behind. Operator of Mv #1 described vehicle #2 as a small grey sedan that continued Eastbound on Washington St. Operator of vehicle #2 stated he was travelling Eastbound on Washington St. in the right hand lane. Operator #2 stated an unknown vehicle crossed into his lane forcing him to swerve to the right causing vehicle #2 to collide with vehicle #1.

Operator of MV1 stated she was parked in the Newton Centre Municipal Lot between approximately 1000 hours and 2300 hours yesterday (Sunday, May 9th, 2021). At 2300 hours she went to her vehicle and noticed damage on the right side doors. MV1 had a white scrape that went from the front of the front passenger door to the back of the rear passenger door. The damage also dented the front door which prevents the front door from being opened fully. It is believed MV2 sideswiped MV1 while pulling into or out of the parking spot to the right of MV1. No information on MV2 at this time.

MV 1 was traveling straight westbound on Washington St when an unknown vehicle cut her off and forced her to change lanes. When the operator of MV 1 changed lanes she rear ended MV 2 and side swiped MV 3. MV 1 sustained major damage to the front right and right side causing it to be disabled. MV 1 was towed by Tody's towing. The operator of MV 1 did not get any plate information or description of the vehicle that cut her off. MV 2 was legally parked on the side of the right lane facing westbound when MV rear ended him. MV 2 sustained heavy damage to the left rear of the vehicle causing it to be disabled. MV 2 was towed by Tody's towing. MV 3 was legally parked ahead of MV 2 and unoccupied. MV 1 side swiped MV 3 after rear ending MV 2 causing minor damage to the drivers side rear door. The owner of MV 3 was made aware of the accident. There were no injuries in the accident.

Owner of MV2 stated she was parked for work during the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM. Owner, Marissa stated when she came out she noticed the damage and observed a napkin on her windshield. The napkin had the other involved vehicle's information on it. MV2 was unoccupied when struck and sustained significant damage on her driver's side rear bumper and quarter panel. I called and spoke to the Opr. of MV1. The Opr, Alexandra stated she was turning left into the parking spot and struck MV2. Alexandra stated her vehicle was not damaged and she left all the information on the windshield of MV2. No injuries reported.

Witnesses #1 and #2 (anonymous) stated that Vehicle #1 was parked in a parking space behind Pressed Cafe. Vehicle #2 was parked to the right of Vehicle #1. Vehicle #2 attempted to back up out of their space, overcorrected, and backed into Vehicle #1. Witnesses stated Vehicle #2 drove away at a high rate of speed. Vehicle #1 suffered minor damage to the right rear side of the vehicle. Unknown damage to Vehicle #2. Witnesses followed the vehicle and provided me with a picture of the license plate. They were unable to describe the driver. I was able to locate the owner of Vehicle #1 and notify him of the damage. I responded to the address listed for Vehicle #2 with negative results. Report forwarded to Traffic Bureau for follow up with Vehicle #2. Traffic Bureau update (Officer Gaudet): On Tuesday, July 6, 2021, I made contact with the registered owner of MV2, Ms. Irina Mazo via telephone. Ms. Mazo stated she was away for the weekend but her daughter, Olga Rapoport, had the vehicle. I apprised Ms. Mazo about the crash involving her vehicle. Ms. Mazo stated she would contact her daughter and have her call me. A short time later, I received a call from Ms. Rapoport. Ms. Rapoport stated she was operating MA: 4LD211 at the time of the reported crash. Ms. Rapoport stated her rear passenger side bumber area crashed into MV1 as she was backing out of a parking spot. Ms. Rapoport stated she left the area with out stopping to assess the damage to MV1, or to attempt to make contact with the owner of MV1. I asked Ms. Rapoport why she did not stop. Ms. Rapoport stated she did not have an excuse. Ms. Rapoport stated there is no damage to her vehicle. Ms. Rapoport was advised and will be mailed Massachusetts Uniform Citation (061166AB) for Chapter 90, Section 24 (Leaving the Scene of Property Damage).

On Friday 7/16/2021 at approx 0959hrs, while assigned to N495, I responded to the intersection of Clark St and Stearns St for a jackknifed semi truck. Upon arrival I observed MV1's front wheels resting on the curb in front of 75 Stearns St. There appeared to be fresh damage and tire marks to the front lawn (grass only) at 75 Stearns St. MV2 was initially parked at the corner of Stearns St and Clark St (EB side) but was later moved by the owner to allow MV1 to maneuver more easily. Operator of MV 2 states that she found damage to her driver side bumper and trunk which she believes was caused by MV1. It should be noted that I could not determine whether the paint damage was fresh as there were other places on the bumper that had obvious signs of older damage. Operator of MV1 states that he was following his GPS which led him to attempt a right turn onto Stearns St. However he could not make the turn with MV2 parked close to the curb. He stated that he did not make contact with MV2.

MV1 was unoccupied and parked legally in a parking space belonging to 75 Adams St (Nonantum Boxing Club ) when MV2, operated by Robert David Rauh, hit MV1. MV2 was pulling out of a parking spot in the same lot when he miscalculated the turn and damaged MV1 rear driver's side bumper. Minor damage was observed on MV2 passenger side bumper. No injuries and both vehicles were safe to drive.

ON 7-23-21 AT APPROX. 0844HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT 2040 COMMONWEALTH AVE. I SPOKE TO THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE #1. DRIVER STATES HE WAS PULLING OUT ONTO COMM AVE FROM THE LOADING DOCK TRYING TO ANGLE BACK IN BETTER. HE STATES WHILE EXITING HE CUT THE TRAILER TOO TIGHT AND HIT VEHICLE #2 THAT WAS PARKED ON COMM AVE. THE OWNER OF VEHICLE #2 HEARD THE CRASH AND CAME OUT TO INSPECT HIS VEHICLE. THERE WAS MINOR SCRAPES ON THE LEFT SIDE TRAILER OF VEHICLE #1. THERE WAS LEFT FRONT END DAMAGE AND A BROKEN LEFT DRIVER SIDE WINDSHIELD ON VEHICLE #2. BOTH PARTIES REPORTED NO INJURIES AND NEITHER VEHICLE WAS TOWED. BOTH PARTIES ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

Mv#1 was travelling straight ahead on Needham St W/B in the area of #111. The Mv was being safely guided through this area under construction by detail Officers. While the Mv was passing through this area, an excavator digging in the street began moving which startled the Mv operator. As a result, the operator jerked her Mv to the right at which time the front passenger side bumper scraped a water pipe resting on the birm. The front passenger side bumper sustained minor scrape damage.

On 08/30/2021 I spoke to a worker for Stumpys Tree Removal who was doing work on Chestnut Hill Rd when their trailer which hauls all of their equipment was struck by another vehicle. Chestnut Hill Rd is a private roadway and is very narrow. The trailer was parked as for over as it could be when it was struck. The operator of vehicle 2 stopped and told the workers he wanted their information so he could sue them. The workers told him he they were calling the police and at this time the man said he lived at #140 and left. The trailer had minor damage. While speaking to the workers I saw several drivers get by the trailer with no issues. I then respond to #140 and spoke to the operator of vehicle 2, William Brisk. The vehicle was parked in the driveway with heave side damage. Brisk came to the door eating a muffin and asked me to come in. I asked Brisk what had happened and he stated he asked the workers to move the trailer and they refused and waved him by. He attempted to get by and struck the trailer. I asked Brisk why he did not wait for police to arrive and he stated he had nothing to hide. I also asked why he sat down and had something to eat instead of calling the police to report the incident and he stated he was hungry. No injuries were reported and no tows required.

On Wednesday 9/15/2021 at approx 1045hrs, while assigned to the cell block, I took a past MVA report at the front desk. There I was met by Michael Krongel who states that at approx 1005hrs this morning his parked vehicle(MA reg1XJV53) was hit by another car at the Newton Wellesley Hospital parking garage. A witness stood by and gave Krongel their info along with a license plate number for the vehicle that struck his. The rear driver side of his vehicle was damaged. The second vehicle came back to a 2020 Ford Fusion MA reg 1LZR85 owned by Breanna Wasson DOB 4/23/1993. See witness statement. Newton Dispatch was able to find a number for Wasson on record. I called the number and left a message on its voicemail. It it not known at this time if Wasson was operating MV2. Traffic Bureau update (Officer Gaudet): On Thursday, September 16, 2021, I attempted to make contact with the registered owner of MV2, Ms. Breann Wasson, with a negative result. A message was left for her to contact me. A "Hit and Run" inquiry was mailed to Ms. Breann's address listed with the registry. On Thurday, September 23, 2021, I spoke with Ms. Wasson via telephone. Ms. Wasson acknowledged she was involved in the crash and had to leave with out immediately exchanging information because she was late for an appointment. Ms. Wasson stated when she returned to her vehicle, Mr. Krongel had left his business card on her winshield. Ms. Wasson stated she contacted Mr. Krongel to exchange information but he was not interested in speaking with her. Ms. Wasson stated she contacted her insurance company and reported the crash to them. Ms. Wasson did not provide information about any damage to her vehicle. Due to Ms. Wasson admitting fault for the crash and reporting the crash to her insurance company, no further action will be taken.

The OP. of MV#1 states while traveling southbound on Chestnut Street, a vehicle in front suddenly stopped short. She immediately braked but in order to not collide into the vehicle in front, she swerved into the curb and her vehicle got stuck on it.

Mv#1 operator stated she was pulling out of a parallel parking space facing west at 845 Beacon St to continue W/B on Beacon St. #1 stated as she entered the traffic lane, she was struck on the driver's side front end by Mv#2. #1 could not explain the manner in which #1 was struck by #2. #2 operator stated she was stopped in traffic on Beacon St E/B. #2 stated she observed #1 suddenly pull out of the parking space from across the street, turning wide right and sideswiped her driver's side. The sideswiping also shattered #2 driver's side window. Both operators and #2 passenger (minor) signed patient refusals. Both Mvs sustained significant damage; #1 was inoperable and towed by Tody's; #2 was able to be driven from the scene. Based on statements and observations, #1 operator was issued citation #T2080654 for C.O. 19/75 Failure to use Care Turning.

The operator of MV#1 stated she was travelling southbound on Hammond St approaching the stop sign at the intersection of Middlesex Rd when she was struck by MV#2. MV#1 sustained heavy damages to its driver's side front door, driver's side rear door and driver's side rear axle. There were no reported injuries to the operator of MV#1. The operator of MV#2 stated she was travelling northbound on Hammond St and attempted to swat a fly on her windshield and swerved into MV#1. MV#2 sustained heavy damages to its driver's side front wheel. There were no reported injuries to the operator of MV#2. Tody's Towing took possession of both involved vehicles.

Operator of vehicle 1 stated he was traveling westbound on Paul St around the tight corner and another vehicle was coming his direction at a high rate of speed. He tried to swerve out of the way but his shoe got caught and he accelerated through the fence. The operator was not hurt and the vehicle was towed by Todys. Sagar Mohan stated he and his son were in the park at the time of the accident and they saw a red sedan going east bound at a high rated of speed with no concern to thee narrowness of the street and the tight turn. They stated it looked like operator 1 was trying to avoid a collision when he swerved into the fence. Unit 523 took several digital images of the fence and parks and rec were notified.

The operator of MV1 stated she was backing out of her fathers driveway at 73 Benningston St when she struck MV2 in the front driver side. When she struck MV2, the operator stated she got scared, put the vehicle in drive and stepped on the gas. When she stepped on the gas she went onto the neighbors lawn, through the bushes, striking MV3 that was parked. The vehicle rested behind MV3 at an angle, in between the stairs to the residence at 69 Benningston St. The operator stated she is pregnant and was checked out by the medics and signed a refusal. The vehicle was towed to Todys due to it being inoperable. The owners of MV2 and MV3 were home and notified of the accident. The operator of MV1 has her MA permit but was operating the motor vehicle with no licensed operator. She was cited for unlicensed operation and given the citation in hand.

The operator of MV#1 stated she was travelling forward out of her parking space and turned the steering wheel early and struck MV#2. MV#1 sustained moderate damages to its passenger side rear wheel area. There were no reported injuries tot he operator of MV#1. MV#2 was unoccupied and parked directly next to MV#1. MV#2 sustained moderate damages to its driver's side front wheel area. The owner of MV#2 was informed and was provided with information related to this accident. The owner of MV#1 requested for her own towing service to assist her with her vehicle.

The operator of MV1 (GEFFIN, Bennie - MA Reg 373N60) stated he was traveling Southbound on Grant Ave. when he jerked the wheel to avoid the left rear end of MV2 (MA Reg 2NEB55). MV2 was parked Southbound at 25 Grant Ave. As a result, MV1 clipped MV2, rolled over, and landed on its left side. GEFFIN and the passenger, GEFFIN, Gillian, were trapped in the vehicle upon my arrival, and were freed by Newton Fire. Both parties were evaluated by the medics and signed refusals with no injuries. MV1 sustained damage to all sides of the vehicle. MV2 sustained damage to the left side and right front as a result of sliding into a tree. Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Todys.

MV#1 was unocuupied and parked on Cypress St in front of 51 Cypress St when it was struck by MV#2. MV#1 sustained heavy damages to its rear driver's side wheel. The owner of MV#1 was standing outside of her vehicle on the sidewalk when MV#1 was struck. There were no reported injuries to the owner of MV#1. The operator of MV#2 stated he was travelling southbound on Cypress St and attempted to go around MV#1 when he struck it. The operator of MV#2 stated he thought he had enogh space to go around but due to the snow piles and oncoming traffic on the northbound lane he misjudged the space. MV#2 sustained heavy damages to its front passenger side tire. There were no reported injuries to the operator of MV#2. Both involved vehicles were disabled and awaited for AAA Towing.

The Operator of MV1(Ma Reg 4DKA19) was traveling SB on Bridge St approaching the stop sign at Watertown Street when his vehicle was struck head on. Operator of MV1 stated the operator of MV2 came into his lane of traffic when he turned onto Bridge Street. The Operator of MV2 (Ma reg 1CV892) stated he was traveling WB on Watertown Street when he turned right onto Bridge Street. Operator of MV2 stated he lost control of his vehicle do to ice on the roadway. This caused his vehicle to swerve into the oncoming lane striking MV1 head on. Both vehicle sustained minor damage and did not require a tow. Medic 2 arrived on scene to evaluate the operator of MV1 for possible minor injuries. Operator of MV1 signed a refusal and both parties drove away from the scene safely.

oper stated he was turning from Walnut St to Homer Street when his coffee spilled and lost control driving up the snow bank at 308 Homer Street. Vehicle also caused minor damage to city tree. When vehicle was towed away there was a fire hydrant that had been knocked out of place. No Injuries. Vehicle was towed by Tody's City notified about fire hydrant. The operator of MV1 (MA reg 21KM34) stated she parked her vehicle in front of 31 Lincoln Street when her car was hit. The operator came out of Salon Capri and noticed a big dent in the left rear bumper. A witness at the Salon was able to write down the license plate and make of the vehicle that hit MV1. The witness also informed me the car pulled into the Hartford St municipal lot. I walked over to the lot and observed the vehicle was parked and unattended at this time. I attempted to find the owner in the surrounding stores with negative results. I observed the damage on the vehicle and I was able to match it up with MV1. There was damage all along the left passenger side. I left a note on the window of MV2 informing the operator to contact Newton Police The operator of MV2 (MA reg 3VZE99) stated she was attempting to parallel park and did not realize she struck MV1. Both vehicles had minor damage and were able to drive away without any issues.

MV#1 was parked unoccupied in front of 21 Hazelton Rd. Operator of MV#2 was attempting to back down the street when he hit MV#1. He stated MV#1 was in his blind spot. Moderate damage to right rear of MV#1 and moderate damage to right rear of MV#2. Both vehicles driven from the scene.

On 06/21/22 at 08:05 hours, I responded to 12 Marshfield Road for a City of Newton Dept. of Public Works vehicle involved in a crash with another vehicle. Marshfield Road is a public way maintained and owned by the City of Newton. At the time of the crash, the weather was sunny and clear and the road conditions were dry. Also, there was road construction going on as a company was grinding the roadways in the area for the City of Newton. Two detail officers were on scene and Ofc. Conary called in the accident to Newton Police Dispatch. On arrival, I spoke to the operator of M/V# 1 identified as Suzanne Ennis (MA D/L # S80758886) who was driving a 2015 Honda CRV color red bearing MA reg.# 769YR1. Ms. Ennis stated that due to the road construction and it being blocked at Walter Street and Jackson Street everyone was being funneled down (EB ) on Marshfield Rd by the detail officers. Ennis further stated that there was construction vehicle apparatus parked along Marshfield Road in the westbound direction which made the road narrow. She then attempted to pass a parked City of Newton Toyota Rav4 (M/V # 2) on the right of her when another pick up truck suddenly started traveling westbound. She says that she tried correcting her steering but made contact with the driver's side front quarter panel area of M/V # 2. I observed a minor black scuff mark to the front passenger side quarter panel area. M/V # 2 is a 2019 Toyota Rav4 color white bearing MA Official reg. # M5181A. It is owned by Enterprise FM Trust and being leased by the City of Newton Public Works. The Rav4 was parked legally on the right side near 12 Marshfield Road with a City of Newton employee sitting in the front driver's seat. The employee was Kimberly Ritcey who works for the engineering department for the Newton Dept. of Public Works. Ritcey reported no injuries. I observed minor scrape marks to the driver's side front quarter panel area. Photos taken of the scene and submitted to the I.T. Bureau.

The operator of MV#1 stated she was stationary at the red traffic light on Boylston St eastbound in the middle travel lane when she was struck by MV#2. MV#1 sustained moderate damages to its rear driver's side bumper and driver's side mirror. There were no reported injuries to the operator of MV#1. The operator of MV#2 stated he was travelling eastbound on Boylston St attempting to make a left turn onto Woodward St when the rear of his vehicle struck MV#1. MV#2 sustained minor non-visible damages to its rear passenger side wheel area. There were no reported injuries to the operator of MV#2. MV#2 is a City of Newton contracted vehicle (Forestry Division). Photographs were taken of the damages to both vehicles.

On 6/30/22 I responded to Newtonville Ave at Harvard St for a hit & run with property damage. A passerby observed MA commercial reg T54798 hit a traffic light and leave the scene. Upon arrival, I located the traffic light dislodged from it's pole and on the sidewalk. The plate given is registered to Piece by Piece Movers in Woburn. I spoke to manager Jacob Hart ( 978-855-3976) who informed me that the truck is sub contracted to a company called Speedy King Laborers, and that Hart is unaware of who the driver may be. Hart stated that the truck does have a GPS on it which was showing the vehicle stationary on Turner Terrace at the time of our conversation. I responded to Turner Ter and located the truck in question. The driver, Jean Rodriguez DOB 11/8/99, told me that he was aware that he hit the light but had notified his boss already. He stated the crash occurred as he was turning right onto Harvard St from Newtonville Ave on the way to a residential moving job. Rodriguez was informed that merely notifying his boss when a traffic light is struck down is not appropriate and that he could be charged with hit & run property damage. Rodriguez was apologetic and stated that he understood. Pictures were taken of the traffic light and Daigle was notified. The remaining lights at Harvard/Newtonville were on flash upon my clearing. I did not observe any damage to the moving truck however Jacob Hart was advised to inspect the property himself to be sure. He was provided this report number for reference. This incident appears to be a misunderstanding at this time.

OP1 of MV1 was traveling westbound on Rt. 9. MV1 was headed toward the Centre Street exit of RT. 9. The Centre Street exit on Rt. 9 has been closed due to ongoing construction. MV1 did not realize the exit was closed. In an attempt to avoid driving through the detour signs, MV1 made an abrupt turn off of Rt. 9 onto Walnut Street. As MV1 abruptly turned onto Walnut Street (Northbound), OP1 had no control over MV1. MV1 continued onto the curb, through the grass, and through the drive away. MV1 then crashed into the front porch of 1243 Walnut Street. MV1 sustained heavy front end damage. MV1 was towed by Todys. A towed inventory sheet was completed. OP1 was transported to BI Boston by Fallon Ambulance. Dispatch notified Building Inspector. Photos of Crash were taken and turned into IT.

During the morning hours of 07/20/22 I responded to the intersection of Chestnut St. and Berkeley St. because the set of lights in the intersection were out. The power was restored and at approximately 1310 I was returning to the intersection to remove four temporary stop signs which had been placed there. As I was traveling EB on Berkeley St. a yellow box truck (MA apportioned plate 9456A) was ahead of me. As we approached the intersection of Chestnut St. the truck took a right turn onto Chestnut St (SB). Due to cars parked on both sides of Berkeley St. and the stop signs in the intersection the turn was extremely tight causing the truck to bump and knock over the set of lights on the SW corner of the intersection. The light pole landed and caused damage to a wooden fence at 257 Chestnut St. The owner of the fence was notified. I observed very minor scuff marks on the passenger side of the truck and it was driven from the scene.
