OPERATOR OF MV 1 STATED SHE PARKED HER CAR IN THE STARBUCKS PARKING LOT AND WHILE SHE ENTERED THE STORE TO PICK UP HER COFFEE, AND UNKNOWN MV STRUCK HER FRONT RIGHT BUMPER CAUSING DAMAGE. THERE WERE NO WITNESSES TO THE CRASH AND THE CAMERAS INSIDE STARBUCKS DON'T SHOW WHERE THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED.

Operator of vehicle 1 stated she was traveling southbound on Walnut St when she had to abruptly stop because there was a bus ahead of her that pulled over. When she stopped she was rear ended by vehicle 2, right in front of 951 Walnut St. Operator 2 stated she was traveling southbound on Walnut St when vehicle 1 abruptly stopped and causing her to rear end vehicle 1 There was minor damage to the rear bumper of vehice 1 and heavy front end damage to vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 was towed by Tody's towing. All parties involved declined medical attention.

On 4/4/22 at approximately 1540 hours, I responded to 109 Lexington st for an accident. Upon arrival, MV1 stated that he was driving southbound on Lexington St when he thought he had hit the curb. His vehicle had minor damage to the front left side and had a flat tire. He reported no injuries. I spoke with the owner of MV2 stated that his vehicle was hit by MV1 causing damage to the right rear side and tire. The damage on Mv1 matched the damage on MV2. MV1 was towed by Todys. No injuries reported

THE OWNER OF MV#1 STATED THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED OVER NIGHT IN FRONT OF 125 LEXINGTON ST. THEY NOTICED THAT THE REAR D/S AND REAR END OF THE VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED. IT WAS LAST SEEN AT APPROXIMATELY 2100HRS NOT DAMAGED WHEN IT WAS PARKED ON THE STREET. IT APPEARED THAT MV#1 WAS STRUCK BY ANOTHER VEHICLE TRAVELING SOUTH BOUND ON LEXINGTON ST. THE VEHCILE WAS TOWED BY TODYS.

At approximately 1239HRs on Thursday, 04/07/2022, I was dispatched to 111 Needham St. (McDonald's) for a report of a hit & run crash. Upon arrival, I spoke with the operator of MV1 (MA Pass: 49315), who stated that he was in the restaurant when an unidentified concerned citizen came in and showed them a picture of MV2, after it had struck MV1 and informed them that the operator of said vehicle left the scene without leaving their information. I observed that MV1 sustained damage to its driver's side rear quarter panel, just to the rear of the wheel well. The owner of MV2 (MA Passenger: 313FY9) could not be reached to ascertain their version of events. Newton Dispatched was able to find a phone number for the registered owner, left a message and at the time of writing this report, The Newton Police have not been contacted by them. Additionally, I went to the registered owner's address and no one would answer the door, nor the Ring Video Doorbell, which remotely connects those activating it, to the owner's phone.

On Friday April 8, 2022 at approximately 1230 hours I was dispatched to 36 Glen Ave for a single car MVA into a stone wall. The sky was clear at this time of day but the roads were wet due to a previous rain storm. Witness stated MV1 was operating southbound on Glen Ave (public way) prior to 36 Glen Ave at approximately 40mph. Be advised the speed limit of Glen Ave is 25mph. Witness said MV1 crossed into the northbound lane, and operated through the driveway entrance and into the stone wall belonging to Glen Ave Association. Witness stated there were no other MVs on the road at this time and they were unsure if MV1 operator was on their cellphone while driving. Witness stated MV1 operator crawled out from the vehicle and there were no one else involved or in the car. MV1 sustained heavy and extensive front end damage, and was towed by Todys. MV1 operator stated they only had chest pains, and was not suffering from any head or neck injury at this time. Due to the nature of the incident and quick response by Newton Medics, I was unable to speak to MV1 operator, who was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital. I was able to speak to an employee of Glen Ave Association and advised them of the incident. The employee was the manager and they stated the damage to their stone wall was approximately $5,000 USD, and their telephone extension was x200. The employee was given the accident report number.

On April 8th 2022, at approximately 14:24 hours while assigned to N491 i responded to #495 California St for a report of a MV crash. On my arrival I located both involved vehicles just west of #495 California St. Vehicle #1 was a 2022 White Range Rover, Ma. reg. 3HML10, operated by a Nasim Lalehzarian. She stated she was going W/B on California St when she came to a stop due to a vehicle in front of her was stopped waiting to make a left turn onto Melville Ave. She was then rear ended by vehicle #2. Vehicle #2 was a Red Honda Accord Ma. plate 184-D10, operated by Michael Paniagua. He stated he was going W/B on California St when he observed the vehicle in front of him stopped ahead. He then applied his brakes but they didn't allow him to stop in time. He then crashed into the rear of vehicle #1. There was a possibility of an issue with the Hondas braking. Vehicle #2 sustained heavy front end damage and required a tow. There was no reported injuries.

MV2 operator states he was backing his Amazon work truck back to Cottage St and was watching for the low hanging tree branches when he did not see and struck MV1. Minor damage was observed on both vehicles. Both vehicles were damaged on their rear left bumpers. MV1 was parked at the time and unoccupied. The registered owner was notified and given all appropriate information. No injuries on scene and no tows needed.

MV1 was parked on the road way of Brookline Street facing west when struck by the unknown vehicle. MV1 Operator states he was inside the residence of 360 Brookline Street when he heard a loud noise. MV1 Operator states he believes he observed a dark SUV strike the vehicle and continue to drive away from the crash site. MV1 sustained major damage to the rear left and center of the vehicle. The parked vehicle was struck with such force it was pushed on top of the sidewalk and partially into the side lawn of 110 Redwood Road. The vehicle was towed by Tody's Service Inc back to the tow lot. MV1 Operator sustained no injuries. The property owner of 110 Redwood Road was aware of the minor lawn damage from the accident. Based on fluid patterns left on the roadway, I believe the suspect's vehicle continued westbound on Brookline Street and turned northbound onto Dedham Street. MV2 will have damage to the front right of the vehicle. It should be noted that there are multiple traffic cameras at the intersection of Brookline and Dedham Street.

OP1 of MV 1 was traveling n/b on Wells ave when he was taking a right into 70 Wells ave. The Street was made a one way due to the bike race detail going on. OP1 had to cross over a set of cones to take a right into the parking lot and did not see the bicycle traveling. The bicycle his the passenger side of MV1. Minor damage to MV1. OP1 was not injured. Bicycle operator was traveling around Wells ave N/B when he saw the vehicle turn right, he was unable to stop in time and hit the side of MV1. Bicycle operator had a slight injury to his hand but refused medical treatment. At this time no citations issued at this time.

MV#1 Was Eastbound on California St when he collided with MV#2 & MV#3 that were parked facing Eastbound. OPMV#1 Stated he doesn't know what happened and he possibly fell asleep as he was driving. No injuries. MV#1 & MV#3 were towed by Todys Towing. Uninvolved vehicle owners were notified on scene.

Vehicle 1 was parked in front of the USPS Office at 81 Oak St while Vehicle 2 was travelling southbound on Oak St. Another vehicle was travelling northbound on Oak St and didn't leave enough room for Vehicle 2 to safely pass between the traveling vehicle and Vehicle 1, causing the passenger side mirror of Vehicle 2 to make contact with the driver's side mirror of Vehicle 1. I observed minor damage to both mirrors. An incident report for this crash was created (Report #2201920)

On Tuesday April 12th 2022 at approximately 0915 hours I responded to the area of 197 California Street for a city of Newton fire truck that struck a fire hydrant while responding to an emergency. At the time of the accident the weather was cloudy and the road surface was dry. California Street is owned and maintained by the city of Newton. Upon arrival I spoke with the operator of Newton Fire Engine 1 identified as Joseph Frank. Joseph stated that while attempting to park the fire engine he struck the fire hydrant, causing the fire hydrant to be knocked over and inoperable. Minor damage to the front drivers side of the fire engine was photographed and submitted to the IT Bureau as well as the damaged fire hydrant. No injuries were reported. City of Newton was notified of the damaged hydrant.

On 4/12/22 I took a Hit and run report at the front desk that occurred at 88 Harvard St. between 4/8/22 and 4/9/22. The owner of MV1 stated that she parked her car in front of her house on 4/8/22 at approx. 1900Hrs. When she came to her car on 4/9/22 at approx. 1600Hrs she noticed that her front right mirror was missing. She stated that she mirror was hit by an unknown MV and was left on the ground broken. There was also as minor scratch on her right door that was caused by the unknown MV. There were no cameras in the area and she is unsure of who might of hit her car.

On 4/12/2022 at approximately 2315 hours, I responded to 2345 Commonwealth Ave for a report of a car that had crashed onto the grass median in front of the Marriott Hotel. I spoke with the driver who stated she was traveling westbound and she had fallen asleep at the wheel. She stated that when she hit the curb she had awoken and realized she had crashed. She had no injuries and signed a patient refusal. Her vehicle had major injuries and was towed by Todys.

The operator of Vehicle #1 stated that he was stopped at the red light at the intersection of Commonwealth Ave and Washington St when the rear-end of his vehicle was struck by Vehicle #2. The operator of Vehicle #2 stated that she attempted to pull forward prior to colliding with the rear-end of Vehicle #1. None of the parties complained of injury when asked. Vehicle #2 was towed from the scene by Tody's.

On 4/13/22 at 0915hrs I was dispatched to 1169 Comm Ave for an MVA. The RP on scene was identified as Mr Dustin Aguiar, a Wes Construction employee. Aguiar stated he was called by his office whom informed him the resident from 1169 Comm Ave, later determined to be Ms Helen Macintosh, reported to them that she had just collided with the back of their trailer that was parked on the carriage road. Macintosh was backing out of her driveway at which time her MV rear end struck the trailer. While Macintosh was reporting the accident she was also complaining about the trailer location blocking their driveway resulting in the collision. The Wes office requested a MV accident report from this incident. Aguiar nor any other Wes employee witnessed the accident. On my arrival, Macintosh was not present and I did not observe any trailer parking violations nor the driveway being blocked. No damage to the trailer, only superficial paint transfer. Unknown damage to Macintosh's vehicle. I was able to raise Macintosh's husband at the residence, Mr David Macintosh (lessee). Mr Macintosh stated his wife also called him to report the accident and he in turn called MWRA (contractor supervising sub contractor Wes) to complain. He stated Mrs Macintosh was unavailable at this time to speak but, he stated voluntarily and on her behalf, she in fact was operating their '19 Toyota Highlander (MA reg 7GKA20) that struck the trailer. I properly advised him including that this collision will be documented at the request of Wes. Wes is satisfied with the documentation of this collision.

ON 4-14-22 AT APPROX. 0926HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT HIT AND RUN. UPON ARRIVAL IN THE REAR OF 130 NORTH ST. I SPOKE TO THE OWNER OF VEHICLE #1. OWNER STATES SOMETIME DURING THE NIGHT SOMEONE HAD CRASHED INTO THE FRONT LEFT END OF HIS VEHICLE WHILE IT WAS PARKED IN A PARKING STALL IN THE REAR OF 130 NORTH ST. OWNER STATES HE DID NOT HEAR A CRASH DURING THE NIGHT. VEHICLE #1 HAD LEFT FRONT END DAMAGE CONSISTENT WITH BEING HIT BY A LARGE SUV. OWNER REPORTED NO INJURIES. OWNER ADVISED TO CONTACT INSURANCE COMPANY. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

ON 4-14-22 AT APPROX. 1154HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT THE PARKING LOT OF 1600 WASHINGTON ST ( WARREN HOUSE ) I SPOKE TO THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE #1. DRIVER STATES SHE WAS BACKING OUT OF HER RESIDENCE STALL. SHE STATED SHE LOOKED TO SEE IT WAS CLEAR BUT DID NOT NOTICE VEHICLE #2 UNTIL SHE MADE CONTACT. DRIVER OF VEHICLE #2 STATED SHE HAD ENTERED THE LOT TO TURN AROUND. SHE WAITED FOR VEHICLE #1 TO FINISH BACKING. WHEN SHE REALIZED VEHICLE #1 COULD NOT SEE HER IT WAS TOO LATE TO AVOID GETTING HIT. VEHICLE #1 HAD MINOR REAR LEFT DAMAGE. VEHICLE #2 HAD MINOR RIGHT FRONT DAMAGE. BOTH VEHICLES WERE OPERATIONAL BOTH PARTIES REPORTED NO INJURIES AND WERE ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

The OP. of MV#1 stated he was travelling eastbound on Washington St. when MV#2 suddenly came out of a parking space and collided into him. The OP. of MV#2 stated she pulled out of a parking space when there was no oncoming traffic and suddenly collided with MV#1. The OP. of MV#1 will seek medical attention on his own. The OP. of MV#2 was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital. Both vehicles were towed by Tody's.

ON 4-16-22 AT APPROX. 1139HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT 20 HUNTER ST. I SPOKE TO THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE #1. DRIVER STATES HE WAS BACKING OUT OF HIS DRIVEWAY ON 20 HUNTER AND DID NOT SEE VEHICLE #2 UNTIL HE HAD HIT HIS VEHICLE. OWNER OF VEHICLE #2 WAS NOT ON SCENE. A VOICEMAIL WAS LEFT ON HIS PHONE. VEHICLE #1 HAD MINOR REAR LEFT DAMAGE AND A BROKEN TAIL LIGHT. VEHICLE #2 HAD LEFT REAR QTR. PANEL DAMAGE. VEHICLE #2 WAS PARKED ILLEGALLY AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. DISPATCH NOTIFIED TO HAVE PARKING CONTROL RESPOND TO THE AREA. OWNER OF VEHICLE #1 REPORTED NO INJURIES AND WAS ADVISED TO CONTACT HIS INSURANCE COMPANY. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.
