OPERATOR OF MV 1 STATED HE WAS MOVING HIS CO WORKERS VEHICLE (BACKING UP IN REVERSE) WHEN HE STRUCK MV2'S FRONT BUMPER, WHO WAS ON WESLEY ST BEHIND HIM. MV 1 HAD MINOR DAMAGE AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. OPERATOR OF MV 2 WAS ON WESLEY ST WHEN MV 1 BACKED UP INTO HIM. MV 2 SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THROUGH MY INVESTIGATION IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE OPERATOR OF MV 2 DID NOT HAVE A VALID MASSACHUSETTS DRIVERS LICENSE AND WAS ISSUED MA UNIFORM CITATION T2013016 FOR CH.90 S.10 UNLICENSED OPERATION. A LICENSED OPERATOR SHOWED UP ON SCENE AND TOOK POSSESSION OF MV2. HE ALSO HELPED TRANSLATE FOR THE OPERATOR OF MV 2 WHO DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. SEE INCIDENT REPORT #21048273 FOR INFORMATION RELATED TO THE UNLINCENSED OPERATOR AND CITATION.

Upon arrival, vehicle 1 was on the median facing Northbound on Beacon St at the intersection of Beacon St and Washington St. There was damage to the front drivers side bumper. Vehicle 2 was facing Southbound on Beacon St at the intersection of Beacon St and Washington St. There was heavy damage to the front bumper of Vehicle 2 and it was leaking fluid. Operator 1 stated through a translation device on his cell phone," Look, I was coming slowly when I was going down the curve and the car lost the brake, I didn't have it." When queried through dispatch, it came back that operator 1 was unlicensed. Operator 2 stated she was traveling on Washington St and taking a left turn to head Southbound on Beacon St when vehicle 1 drove over the median and crashed into her head on. Both vehicles were towed by Tody's towing. It appeared that the brakes on vehicle 1 were functioning properly when Tody's towing moved the vehicle. Operator 1 and 2, both signed patient refusals with Fallon Medics. Operator 1 was handed Massachusetts Uniform Citation#T1445614 in hand for Unlicensed Operation (Incident report# 21049086).

MV#1 Was stopped in traffic, in the middle lane at the intersection of Needham St and Winchester St when MV#2 attempted to pass him on his left and collided with his vehicle. OPMV#1 Stated he was waiting at the light and the person behind him became impatient and tried to drive around him and hit his car. MV#2 Was slowing/stopped at the intersection of Needham St and Winchester St when she attempted to enter the left travel lane causing the vehicle to collide with MV#1. OPMV#2 Stated she didn't hit his vehicle but remembers hearing a noise prior to making the left turn onto Winchester St from Needham St. Should be noted there is minor damage on all bumpers on MV#2.

Operator of MV 1 and stated that when he pulled out of his parking space in the parking lot of 1321 Washington st, he accidently sideswiped MV 2 which was parked next to him on his passenger side. There were no injuries due to this accident and neither vehicle was towed.

Oper of Veh #1 stated he was traveling WB on Watertown Street when he was struck by Veh #2. Oper #2 stated that she stopped at stop sign on Eddy Street and then proceeded on Watertown Street where she struck Veh #1. Stated she never saw vehicle #1. Minor damage to both vehicles. No Tows. No injuries.

Oper # 1 stated he was traveling SB on Centre Street when Vehicle # 2 pulled in front of him and he was unable to stop in time. Oper #2 stated she stopped at Alden Street and Centre Street. Traffic was stopped on Centre Street due to red light ahead. No one was blocking intersection so she pulled out and turned left onto Centre Street when she was struck by Veh #1. She stated Veh #1 had gott into left turn lane early making Centre Street two lanes , when it doesn't become two lanes until after the intersection. Medics responded and everyone signed a refusal, Both vehicles towed by Tody's.

The operator of Vehicle #1 stated that she was travelling Westbound on Old Farm Rd prior to the collision with Vehicle #2. The owner of Vehicle #2 stated that his trailer was parked on the roadside of Old Farm Rd prior the collision with Vehicle #1

At approximately 1425HRs on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, I was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash, which took place on Nahanton St., between number 293 and Winchester St. Upon arrival, I observed MV1 to be facing eastbound in the westbound travel lane. It had its passenger's side front bumper contacting the passenger's side front bumper of MV3 and MV2 was off of the roadway, to the left of MV1's front driver's side. MV1: I noted damage to its front driver's side bumper, head light, fender, hood area and flat tire. On MV1's front passenger's side, I noted damage to its bumper, head light, fender and hood area. MV2: I noted damage to its front driver's side bumper, head light, fender, hood area and flat tire. MV3: I noted damage to its front passenger's side bumper. Upon speaking with the operator of MV1, they stated they were traveling eastbound on Nahanton St. At this time, they began to retrieve something from their bag on the passenger's seat. They then crossed MV 1 over the center yellow divider lines and struck MV2 and MV3. Upon speaking with the operator of MV2, they stated the last thing they remember is that they were traveling westbound on Nahanton St. and then that their vehicle was traveling backwards; They do not remember the crash. Upon speaking with the operator of MV3, they stated they were traveling westbound on Nahanton St. when MV1 crossed over the center yellow divider lines at a high rate of speed. They observe MV1 crash into MV2, pushing it backwards and to the side. MV1 then continued forward and impacted MV3. The operator of MV1 received a ride from their father, after signing a patient refusal. Newton Medics transported the operator of MV2 to the hospital. And the operator of MV3 was able to drive their vehicle away, after signing a patient refusal. Both MV1 and MV2 were removed by the scene by Todys Services (NPD Towed Motor Vehicle Form Filled). I cleared without further incident.

On 11/26/2021, at 1619 hrs, Newton Police were dispatched to the intersection of Watertown St. and Walnut St. (both public ways within the City of Newton) for a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles. The operator of MV#1 stated they had a green light as the were traveling southbound on Walnut St. through the intersection of Watertown St. when MV#2 collided into their passenger side. The operator of MV#1's (2) infant children were located within child protection devices in the second row of the vehicle and were reported to be uninjured. The operator of MV#1 and his wife whom was seated in the front seat of the vehicle declined medical attention for themselves and their children. The operator of MV#2 admitted to police he was turning right (southbound) onto Walnut St. from Watertown St. when he collided into the passenger side of MV#1. There is a posted "No turn on right" sign on the corner of Watertown St. and Walnut St. Damage to MV#1 and MV#2 was consistent with MV#2 colliding into MV#1's passenger side. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene and the operator of MV#2 was issued Ma Uniform Citation; T20144922 for: Mgl Ch. 89. Sec 9. Red light violation. Mgl Ch. 90. Sec. 11. No License in Possession.

MV1 was traveling eastbound on Crafts St attempted to take a left, northbound, on Fessenden St. MV1 did not see MV2 traveling westbound on crafts st and struck the vehicle. MV2 was traveling Westbound on Crafts St when all of a sudden MV1 attempted to take a left turn onto Fessenden St and collided with MV2. Both parties declined medical attention. Both vehicles were towed by Todys.

On November 29th 2021, at approximately 1721hrs, Lizabeth Mansfield (operator 1), reported to the front desk of Newton Police Headquarters to report a past hit and run that occured approximately at 1711hrs. The accident occured at the intersection of Lowell Ave and Washington St. Operator 1 stated that she was driving Northbound on Lowell ave in the left turn only lane just prior to the intersection of Washington St. As she was driving, vehicle 2 was in the right lane traveling Northbound and their attached trailer side swiped the front bumper of vehicle 1. Operator 2 did not stop after the collision and continued onto Washington St. Operator 1 described vehicle 2 as a red landscaping truck with a trailer attached to it. She could not provide any more details or a plate of vehicle 2. There was heavy damage to front bumper of vehicle 1, but the vehicle was operable. It is unknown if there is any damage to vehicle 2. Operator 1 stated she did not need medical attention.

On Tuesday November 30, 2021 at approx. 0857 hours I responded to the area of Chestnut Street and Ellis Street for a report of a two motor vehicle crash with unknown injuries. Upon arrival on scene Medics and Fire personnel were rendering aid to all operators / occupants, due to the location of the crash additional units were requested on scene to divert traffic. Operator of vehicle one Ms. Kim, stated she stopped at the stop sign. She stated her vision was obstructed with a truck that was parked on the northeast corner of Chestnut Street / Winter Street.. She stated she accelerated forward looking south and north. She stated she was going through the intersection when vehicle two traveling southbound had struck her vehicle. Operator of vehicle two Mr. Lafaiete-Gheringer stated he was traveling south on Chestnut Street when vehicle one traveled west from Winter Street through the intersection and struck his vehicle. After Medic evaluations on Ms. Kim and her child Ariela Seok, she signed patient refusal's with no reported injuries at this time. Mr. Lafaiete-Gheringer was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital for a minor laceration on his head due to impact, non life threatening. Todys towing of 1354 Washington Street arrived on scene and towed both vehicles to their tow lot. Towed inventory sheets were completed. All parties advised of the process and I advised them my contact information. After reviewing the crash site area, possible obstructions and a safer way for vehicular and pedestrian traffic, I am recommending a stop sign be placed on the southbound lane Chestnut Street just prior to Ellis Street. In addition Mr. Lafaiete-Gheringer has an active registration without a Massachusetts license with an effective date of August 16, 2021. He currently has an active California License, with an California address. Therefore I am issuing and mailing Mr. Lafaiete-Gheringer MA citation number T1445575(warning) for Chapter 90 Section 26a Failure to notify registry of his license address change.

MV1 operator states he was pulling onto Rt.9, Boylston St EB, waiting for an opening to enter traffic when the operator of MV2 rear ended his vehicle. MV2 operator states he was pulling onto Rt.9 Boylston St EB when he spotted and opening and thought MV1 would also enter traffic. When MV1 did not proceed onto Rt.9, MV2 operator rear ended MV1. No injuries reported. No vehicles towed.
