On Tuesday 3/15/22 at approximately 823 hours while assigned to marked unit n498 I was dispatched to the area of Countryside School (191 Dedham Street) for a report of a minor motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival I spoke with the operator, EBRIL-LEL Margarita, of motor vehicle #1, (695DE1). She states her vehicle was parked along the Northbound Side of Dedham Street diagonally across from Countryside School. She was at the back of her drivers side with the rear door open. She states while leaning into the vehicle her door was struck causing damage to the drivers side of her vehicle and rear drivers side door. After speaking with EBRIL-LEL I spoke with the operator, KARTASHOVA Natalia, of motor vehicle #2, ( 5LAA458). She states she was trying to drive passed MV#! that was parked on the side of the road and thought she had enough room between the oncoming traffic and the MV#1. She states EBRIL-LEL opened the door at the last minutes and she didn't have time to avoid hitting the door. During this time of the morning this area is extremely busy with both motor vehicle traffic and pedestrian traffic as it is drop-off for Countryside school. Cars are permitted to park on both side of the street in order to drop their children off at school. The parking situation causes narrow passage lanes

OPERATOR OF MV 1 STATED SHE WAS TRAVELING SOUTH ON CONCORD ST WHEN SHE CAME DISTRACTED BY HER HAIR AND STRUCK A LEGALLY PARKED MV ON THE DRIVERS SIDE REAR TIRE. HEAVY DAMAGE SUSTAINED AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. TODY'S RESPONDED AND TOWED MV 1 TO THEIR LOT. MV 2 WAS UNOCCUPIED AND PARKED LEGALLY DURING THE INNCIDENT. HEAVY DAMAGE SUSTAINED AND TODYS TOWING TOWED MV 2 TO THEIR LOT AS WELL. THE OWNER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE ACCIDENT AND GIVEN THE ACCIDENT REPORT NUMBER.

MV 1 was traveling westbound on Charlesbank RD when MV 2 crossed the double yellow line and struck MV 1. MV 1 sustained major damage to all areas and the right side air bags deployed. The operator of MV 1(Mr. Nathan Clark) sustained no apparent injuries and signed a patient refusal with Fallon medics. MV 1 was towed by Tody's Services due to it being disabled on a public way. MV 2 was traveling eastbound on Charlesbank Rd when she crossed the double yellow lines and struck MV 1. The operator of MV 2 (Ms. Monique Hartley) stated she had been up for too long and was beginning to feel weak while operating MV 2. The operator of MV 2's husband (Mr. Thomas Clark) arrived on scene. Thomas and Monique explained Monique is a stage 4 cancer patient and has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Monique had no apparent injuries from the accident and signed a patient refusal. Thomas further stated he was going to follow up with Moniques doctors and have her evaluated by them. MV 2 was towed by Tody's services due to it being disabled on a public way.

Due to a language barrier, I spoke with Opr of MV1 through a language line at the hospital. Opr of MV1 stated he was traveling east on Washington Street. At this time, he attemtped to turn right into the Warren House (1600 Washington Street). While turning, he was struck from behind by vehicle #2, which caused him to spin and back into a bush. Opr of MV1 stated he used his blinkers and slowed down. Opr or MV1 suffered injuries and was trasnported to NWH. MV1 was towed by Tody's. Opr of MV2 stated she was travling east on Washington Street. Opr of MV2 stated MV1 stopped and she did not see a blinker. At this time, MV2 could not stop in time and struck MV1. MV2 suffered damage and was towed by Tody's.

Operator of Vehicle 1 parked Vehicle 1 in the employee lot at Newton Wellesley Hospital. When she came back out to Vehicle 1, she observed damage to the passenger-side corner of the rear bumper with blue paint transfer. She does not know who caused the damage and security do not have cameras in the area. An incident report was completed for this incident (See Report #22010401)
