Narrative:
On May 23, 2022 at approximately 16:28 hours I responded to the area of Ward St at Loring St for a two car motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, all parties were on scene and out of their vehicles. It was determined that MV1 was backing out of the driveway of 31 Loring St, which is on Ward St and backed into MV2, which was parked facing westbound in the eastbound lane. There was visible damage on MV1's Rear Passenger side bumper and visible damage on MV2's passenger side. It should be noted that the passenger side mirror had existing damage prior to the crash. I spoke with the owner of MV2, who was aware of the crash and I advised her that her vehicle was parked facing the wrong direction. I informed the involved both parties that a crash report would be on file and how to obtain it.

Operator of MV1 said she was parked in the parking lot of 340 River Street. Operator of MV1 said MV2 was parked next to her backed up and hit the building of 340 River Street. Operator of MV1 said after MV2 struck the building MV2 drove forward and struck the rear of MV1. Operator of MV1 said that the operator of MV2 exited the vehicle and said that there was no damage and that he did not have time for this. Operator of MV1 said MV2 sped out of the parking lot taking a right heading eastbound on River Street. Operator of MV1 said it was a dark color Toyota that's registration began with a 7. Operator of MV1 described the operator as a young white male with dark curly hair and was wearing a light colored sweatshirt. There was a small scratch on the rear bumper of MV1. According to Operator of MV1 there should be damage done to the right side of the front bumper as well as the rear bumper of MV2. There were no injuries and MV1 was able to drive away from the scene. I spoke to the employee of River Side Street Food Mart (340 River Street). The employee stated they have camera's that face the parking lot but he does not know how to use the cameras. The employee said his boss knows how to use the camera's but he was not working tonight. I provided the employee with the Newton Police's phone number and advised him to call if his boss can send us the video footage to see if we can see the license plate of MV2.

The operator of MV1 stated she was taking a left onto Washington Street. MV2 was in the left turn only lane and when the light turned green, MV1 continued to take a left while MV2 attempted to go straight, hitting MV1 on the driver side bumper. The operator and passenger were not injured. There was damage to the rear driver side bumper.

Operator of MV1 states he was traveling northbound on Crescent Ave approaching the intersection at Beacon Street when he came to a complete stop at the stop sign. Operator of MV1 states he looked both ways on Beacon Street for oncoming traffic and after a motor vehicle passed him traveling eastbound on Beacon Street, he proceeded to cross Beacon Street when he was struck by MV2. The operator of MV1 states his visibility of MV2 was obstructed by the passing vehicle and didn't see MV2 traveling westbound on Beacon Street. MV1 sustained damage to the front right fender and front right passenger door. Tody's towing responded and removed the vehicle from the roadway. No injuries. Operator of MV2 states she was traveling westbound on Beacon Street approaching the intersection at Crescent Ave when MV1 appeared in her lane of travel and she struck MV2 head on. MV1 sustained damage to the front end. No tow required and no injuries.

On Friday June 3rd, 2022 at approximately 0948 hours I responded to a two car motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Dartmouth Street. Both streets are owned and maintained by the city of newton. At the time of the accident the weather was rainy and the road surface was wet. Upon arrival I spoke with the operator of MV1, identified as Maxine Rosenberg. Maxine stated she was operating her 2015 Lexus MA Reg 1PK624. Maxine stated she was traveling westbound on Commonwealth Avenue when MV2 attempted to cross over Dartmouth Street and struck her passenger side. MV1 sustained moderate passenger side damage and a flat tire. MV1 was towed by Todys. Maxine and her passenger Carol Bikofsky stated they were not injured. I spoke with he operator of MV2, identified as Luis Javier Perez Caban. Luis stated he was operating a rental car GA reg CMX8746, a 2020 Dodge Journey owned by EAN Holdings LLC. Luis stated he was traveling southbound on Dartmouth Street and was attempting to cross over Commonwealth Avenue and did not see MV1 until the collision. MV2 had heavy front end damage and was towed by Todys. Luis reported no injuries. Towed motor vehicle forms were completed and submitted.

Vehicle 1 was waiting in southbound traffic at the traffic light for the intersection of Woodward St and Boylston St when the operator realized he was in the wrong turn lane. Vehicle 1 then attempted to reverse to give him room between him and the vehicle in front of him so he could change lanes, however he did not notice Vehicle 2 waiting in traffic behind him. Vehicle 1 then backed into Vehicle 2, causing minor damage to the rear bumper of Vehicle 1 and significant damage to the front end of Vehicle 2. Both operators gave similar accounts.
