Op#1 states traffic began to flow when cars ahead stopped suddenly. MV#2 slammed on brakes, resulting in minor contact between push bar of MV#1 contacting MV#2 bumper. Op#2 affirmed Op#1 statement. Op#2 did not wish to file accident report or exchange information due to minor/non existant damage.

On 2/19/20, I met with the owner of MV1 (MA Reg: 1FCP59) at he NPD for a past hit and run report. The operator of MV1 stated that she parked her vehicle at 15 Commonwealth Ave around 0930hrs today. When she returned to her car she observed fresh damage to the drivers side rear bumper. A citizen told MV1 that he saw her vehicle get hit but did not see who did it and had no further information. There are no cameras in the area. I advised MV1 to contact her insurance.

ON 11-24-21 AT APPROX. 1244HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT 33 AUSTIN ST. ( STAR MARKET LOT ) I SPOKE TO THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE #1. DRIVER STATES HE PULLED INTO THE LOT AND STOPPED BECAUSE VEHICLE #2 WAS BACKING OUT OF A STALL. AS VEHICLE #2 GOT CLOSER THE DRIVER OF VEHICLE #1 BEEPED AND WAS THEN HIT IN THE FRONT RIGHT QTR. PANEL. AFTER CRASHING HE NOTICED THAT NO ONE WAS OPERATING VEHICLE #2. THE OWNER OF VEHICLE #2 HEARD THE CRASH BEHIND HIM AS HE WAS WALKING TOWARD STAR MARKET. WHEN THE OWNER NOTICED IT WAS HIS VEHICLE HE STOOD BY TO EXCHANGE INFORMATION. OWNER OF VEHICLE #2 STATED HE PARKED HIS CAR IN A STALL AND WALKED AWAY. HE STATED THE CAR IS 17 YEARS OLD AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKE MUST HAVE FAILED AND AS A RESULT HIS VEHICLE ROLLED BACKWARDS OUT OF THE STALL AND HIT VEHICLE #1. VEHICLE #1 HAD RIGHT FRONT QTR. PANEL DAMAGE. VEHICLE #2 HAD LEFT SIDE SCRAPES AND DENTS. BOTH PARTIES REPORTED NO INJURIES. BOTH PARTIES ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.NEITHER VEHICLE WAS TOWED.

Narrative:
On 03/20/222, I responded to Washington Street @ Hovey St for a 2 car MV accident. Upon arrival I spoke with the operator of MV 1, who stated that she was on the left lane on Washington St waiting to turn left onto Hovey street. She stated that the oncoming vehicles stopped for her to turn left on Hovey St when MV2 swerved around the vehicles and crashed into her causing major damage to the center front and right side of the MV. The operator of MV1 stated that she had a dash cam that caught the whole accident on video and they she would provide the video so I can view it. I then spoke to the operator of MV2, who stated that he was driving in far right lane Westbound on Washington St when the operator of MV1 turned left and hit him causing major damage to the center front and left side of the vehicle. He stated that he had the right of way and that there were no cars in front him which is why he continued driving straight. He also stated that he did nothing wrong and that he was following the speed limit. The operator of MV1 was able to send the dash cam footage from the accident. Based on my observations the video was consistent with the statement that operator of MV1 gave. In the video it is clear that MV1 had the right of way to make the left turn onto Hovey St. The operator of MV2 was mailed Mass Uniform Citation T1445888 fir M.G.L 89 4A Marked Lanes violation. I am mailing the citation due to the fact the that operator of MV2 had left the scene already. Medics arrived on scene and a patient refusal was signed. Todys arrived on scene and took possession of both motor vehicles.
