Upon arrival, MV1 was pulled over in front of 317 Washington St. Its front bumper and undercarriage guard had been ripped off. The operator stated that as he was proceeding through a green light at the end of Mass Pike exit 17 onto Washington St (WB), a dark colored Jeep ran the red light on Centre St (NB) and struck his front end. The Jeep then proceeded down Centre St towards Watertown. A witnesses to the accident, Adam Nussenbaum, was traveling behind MV1 and corroborated the story. No further description of the vehicle or driver which fled was obtained except that it would have passenger side damage. Watertown PD was notified and a canvass of the area yielded negative results. I was unable to locate any cameras in the area of the accident.
