Operator of MV # 1 states she was exiting the Boylston Street (RT 9EB) off ramp at Ellis Street when she states that she came to a stop for the stop sign. She then inched out and thought it was clear to proceed straight through and struck MV # 2 on both passenger side doors. Operator also stated that she did not think traffic would be allowed to come from the left of her. She was advised that there is a sign below the stop sign that states that the oncoming traffic does not stop. Operator was issued MA Uniform Citation T1441046 for Ch. 89/9 Stop Sign Violation. MV # 1 sustained front end damage to the entire front but was still driveable and the operator reported no injuries. Operator of MV # 2 states she was operating straight through the Boylston Street overpass (SB) on to Ellis Street when she states that MV # 1 never stopped for the stop sign. MV # 1 then proceeded out and struck her vehicle on the passenger side. MV # 2 sustained moderate damage to both passenger side doors and was towed by Tody's towing.
