When the light turned green, she drove forward and MV#2 suddenly made a turn towards her and sideswiped her vehicle. She then observed MV#2 go behind her and drive away down either Quinobequin Road or Wales Street. She was unable to see the plate on MV#2 and could only describe it as a dark colored SUV. 3103 3103 2100001012 2021-12-02T17:31 2021-12-02 17:31 1201 CENTRE ST Vehicle #1 was traveling northbound on Centre St. at approximately 25 MPH when they witnessed someone enter the roadway on foot from between two parked cars and attempted to cross the road. Vehicle #1 stated they attempted to stop but was unable to do so and struck the person with the front left corner and windshield of the vehicle. The pedestrian and owner of Vehicle #2 stated he parked his vehicle on the right side of the road and exited the car. He stated he was walking towards the crosswalk and attempted to cross the street from the front of his vehicle. All he remembers is taking a few steps out into the road, being hit, and flying before hitting the ground. He was unaware where he was struck from. Vehicle #1 had moderate damage to the front and windshield and was towed by Tody's towing. Vehicle #2 was uninvolved in the crash and was parked at the time. The owner of Vehicle #2 and pedestrian struck was injured and transported by Medics to Brigham and Womens Hospital for injuries to his head, left arm, and left leg. Operator of Vehicle #1 stated he was uninjured and refused any medical treatment. It should be noted that the accident happened outside the crosswalk and the street lights above where the accident occurred were not working at the time of the crash making the roadway dark and visibility difficult. 3105 3105 2100001009 2021-12-02T16:47 2021-12-02 16:47 COMMONWEALTH AVE & WASHINGTON ST The OP. of MV#1 stated he was stopped and waiting at a red light on Washington Street eastbound, with one or two cars ahead of him. He was then suddenly rear ended by MV#2. The OP. of MV#2 stated she was stopped at a red light on Washington Street eastbound behind MV#1. She was suddenly rear ended by MV#3 and the collision pushed her vehicle into MV#1. The OP. of MV#3 stated he was slowing down for traffic on Washington Street eastbound and he stopped short. 3108 3108 2100001008 2021-12-02T11:20 2021-12-02 11:20 82 LINCOLN ST Owner of MV1 stated she was parked in the Newton Housing Authority parking lot when observed her front end damaged at approximately 1045 am this morning. Owner then came to the Newton Police Department to report the damage. Minor damage to the front end of the vehicle. MV1 was unoccupied when struck and no injuries reported.
