The OP. of MV#1 stated she was the first car stopped on the southbound lane of Chestnut Street by Beacon Street. She stated she was stopped at the red light for close to a minute before MV#2 collided into her rear. The OP. of MV#2 stated she was on the southbound lane of Chestnut Street, slowing down to a stop. While pressing on the brake, her vehicle just kept on sliding before colliding into the rear of MV#1.
