Narrative:
The operator of MV#1 states that he was following his GPS to Charlestown, MA when it took him into Newton. MV#1, a large tractor trailer ended up on Oakwood Rd. a small residential neighborhood, when the top of his trailer struck a tree limb causing significant damage to the trailer. The tractor trailer then traveled to Hancock St and notified the NPD. Because I was on Hancock St with the damaged tractor trailer, Officer Nardelli responded to Oakwood Rd and viewed the damage. Officer Nardelli reports minor damage to a city owned tree in front of #21 Oakwood Rd, minor damage to a curb in that area and minor damage to the lawn at #55 Williston Rd. Residents/owners of #55 Williston Rd are aware of the damage. No injuries and no tows.
