Operator of MV1 stated they were heading Westbound on California St. when they fell asleep at the wheel and veered off and struck a tree on the eastbound lane sidewalk. MV1 rolled over.The final resting place of MV1 was positioned Southbound in front of 268 California St. MV1 sustained major damage to the front of the vehicle. Both the front and side air bags were deployed. Operator of MV1 sustained minor injuries and was transported to St. Elizabeths. Passenger of MV1 signed a patient refusal. Photos were taken and submitted to the IT Bureau. Tody's towed the vehicle. A towed motor vehicle inventory form was filled out. It should be noted the vehicle was a Zipcar.
