Narrative:
On September 11th, 2021 at approximately 12:23 hours while working N491 I responded to a report of a single vehicle crash in front of #72 Charles bank Rd involving a box truck that struck a utility pole. On my arrival I located the involved truck which was a 2015 White ISU Box truck, Ma commercial S72-504, operated by a Alexis Pimentel. Mr Pimentel reported travelling E/B on Charles bank Rd when he heard a loud bang. He eventually realized his passenger side top portion of his box style truck struck the utility pole in front of #72 Charles bank Rd. The impact split the pole in the middle causing an immediate hazard. Eversource was notified and responded a short time later. Sgt Mclean arrived on scene with Eversource and immediately closed down the road to traffice both E/B and W/B due to the danger of the pole falling down onto the road. Eversource was in the process of getting a pole crew together to replace the compromised pole.
