Narrative:
On Monday 10/25/2021 at approx 0941hrs, while assigned to N-498, I responded to the area of 455 Nahanton St for a single vehicle MVA. There, I observed MV1 pulled over on the side of the road facing EB. Operator of MV1 states she was traveling EB on Nahanton St and soon after crossing the bridge into Newton, a deer ran in front of her vehicle and collided with it. With little time to react and with wet road conditions she could not avoid striking the deer. It should be noted that the deer could not be located and was witnessed going back into Nahanton Woods. I observed that MV1 sustained a cracked front windshield and a broken driver side mirror. There was what appeared to be deer fur on the driver side door and mirror.
