On Sunday 11/7/21 at approximately 1453 hours while assigned to marked unit n491 I was dispatched to the area of 430 Center Street for a report of a minor motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival I spoke with the operator, (BACON Luke), of motor vehicle #1, (ma reg 4JBL99), who states he was travelling northbound on Center Street approaching the traffic light at the entrance to the traffic circle at Center Ave. As he began to stop at the entrance to the traffic circle he was struck in the rear by motor vehicle #2. Operator, (KOLBIN Alexander), of motor vehicle #2 (ma reg 2ADN23), states as he approached the traffic circle behind MV#1 he observed the traffic light displaying a green arrow. He proceeded to follow MV#1 and thought the vehicle continued on into traffic. KOLBIN looked to make sure traffic was clear and then proceeded forward not realizing MV#1 had not continued, striking the vehicle in the rear. There were no injuries due to this accident and neither vehicle ws towed.
