On 1/2/19 I was working N503 when I responded to Watertown St. at West St. for a report of an MVA hit and run. Upon arrival I met with Jennifer Nave who stated that she had rear ended a white colored SUV style vehicle in front of 414 Watertown St. Nave stated after she struck the vehicle she pulled over to the side of the road and the other vehicle drove away. Nave stated she was uninjured however had minor front end damage. Nave was unable to give any other description besides white SUV style vehicle.

ON 1/18/2019 AT APPROX 0929HRS WHILE ASSIGNED TO 497 i RESPONDED TO THE AREA OF 1830 BEACON ST FOR A REPORT OF A TWO CAR COLLISION WITHOUT INJURY. UPON ARRIVAL I OBSERVED BOTH VEHICLES IN THE ROADWAY WITH UNDER RIDE , FLUIDS ALL OVER ROADWAY AND AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT IN THE REAR VEHICLE. BOTH OPERATORS WERE STANDING ON THE SIDEWALK. I SPOKE WITH THE OPERATOR OF MA DEALER REG 5550 MARISSA DEVLIN WHO STATED SHE HAD STOPPED FOR A PEDESTRIAN IN THE CROSSWALK WHEN SHE WAS STRUCK FROM BEHIND. I THAN SPOKE WITH THE OPERATOR OF MA PASSENGER REG 3NM859, THOMAS DORRANCE WHO STATED ' IT APPEARS I'M AT FAULT' DORRANCE STATED HE HAD NOT NOTICED DEVLIN SLOWING AND STOPPING AND RAN INTO THE BACK OF HER. DEVLIN WAS ALSO COMPLAINING OF PAIN FROM THE STEERING WHEEL AND AIRBAG, CATALDO RESPONDED. NFD AND TODYS TOW ARRIVED ON SCENE .NFD USED THE JAWS TO SEPARATE THE TWO VEHICLES TODYS WAS ABLE TO TOW BOTH VEHICLES. DORRANCE SIGNED A PATIENT REFUSAL WITH CATALDO. NFD SPREAD SPEEDY DRY AND CLEARED THE ROADWAY.

On 2/13/2019 at approx 1240hrs while assigned to 497 I responded to the area of 1784 Beacon St for a report of a two car crash without injuries. Upon arrival i observed Ma Reg 9LT451 which had been operated by Frank BOOD angled in the roadway with front passenger side damage and Ma Reg 8AGA10 which had been operated by Harold SILVERSTEIN off the roadway lodged into several broken sections of wood fence on the property of 1784 Beacon St which Newton City Census shows as belonging to Elliot SURKIN. I spoke with BOOD who stated he had turned his right directional on , was slowing and turning into the driveway of 1784 Beacon St where he was working as a contractor when SILVERSTEIN came up on his right struck his front passenger side than drove into the fence. SILVERSTEIN stated he did not notice BOOD slow or his directional and tried to stop and turn but struck BOOD than the fence. Todys responded and towed SILVERSTEINS vehicle.

The operator of MV1 was traveling Eastbound on Beacon St. when she stopped at a crosswalk for a pedestrian to cross and was struck in the rear by MV2. The operator of MV2 was traveling Eastbound on Beacon St. when MV1 came to a stop and she struck MV1 in the rear. She stated she didn't have enough time to react but pressed her brakes down all the way until they locked up and she ultimately struck the vehicle. All parties reported no injuries. MV1 sustained minor damage and was able to be driven away from the scene safely. MV2 sustained moderate/heavy front end damage and was towed from the scene by Tody's.

Operator of MV1 was traveling southbound on Centre Street. She stated there was heavy stop and go traffic. MV2 struck the rear of her vehicle when she came to a complete stop as she passed 785 Centre Street. Operator of MV2 said he did not how close he was to MV1 and rear ended the vehicle. Both parties were uninjured and declined medical attention. MV1 had minor rear end damage and MV2 had moderate front end damage. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.

All operators state MV3 was stopped in traffic, with MV2 stopped in traffic behind it. Both vehicles were heading southbound on Centre St. MV1 failed to stop behind MV2, colliding with the rear of MV2. MV2 was sent forward from the impact and collided with MV3. No injuries were reported on scene and no tows were needed. On my arrival all parties had exchanged information. After further investigation it was determined the operator of MV2 was driving with a suspended license. I spoke to her via phone and she stated she thought it was cleared up. I advised her that I would be mailing a citation to her (Citation #T1441680) for operating after a suspended license. She was driven away from the scene by a neighbor (Michael Manna, S20209078).

Operator of MV#1 stated she was travelling east in the area of 1507 Washington St in the southbound lane. She began to slow down in traffic when she was rear ended by MV#2. MV#1 suffered minor damage to the back and was able to be driven from the scene. Operator of MV#2 stated she was also in the southbound lane and traffic was travelling at a normal speed when she turned to look left to switch lanes. She stated at that moment "traffic began to slow down into gridlock" and she could not stop in time. She rear ended the back of MV#1. MV#2 suffered major damage to the front end and was towed from the scene by AAA (CJ's Auto.) No injuries.

The owner of Vehicle #1, Ms. Africa Perkins wished to report that a vehicle had parked closely behind her vehicle, and possibly made contact with her bumper. The Vehicle in question came back to a Mr. Anthony Pellegrini. Mr. Pellegrini was located, and agreed to come back and move his vehicle so that Ms. Perkins could inspect her vehicle. Ms. Perkins, and Mr. Pellegrini inspected their vehicles, and agreed that there was no damage to report. Both parties requested this report be generated in order to document this.

Operator of MV1 states he was stopped in traffic westbound, in the area of 1045 Beacon St. He states suddenly he was struck from behind by MV2. The vehicles seperated briefly and MV2 struck the back of MV1 again. Operator of MV2 stated she was driving at a slow rate of speed, behind MV1. She states she tried to stop her car but it was not responding. She attempted to downshift her car and put it in park, but instead it lunged forward into MV1 multiple times. No injuries were reported on scene. MV2 was towed by Todys. The passenger of MV2 had already left the scene prior to my arrival. I was able to speak to his father via phone who stated he was uninjured and did not need medical treatment.

Reg 8187VV Teresa MALLOY who stated she was traveling NB on Chestnut St when the postman ( Musar from Waban Post Office 929-278-0647) stepped out in the street , MALLOY stopped and was hit from behind by Ma. Reg 98FT16 being operated by Mitchell TVERSKOY. I spoke with TVERSKOY who stated MALLOY stopped suddenly and he crashed into her. MALLOY'S passenger, Janet HARRIS was having pain after the crash and was transported to NWH by Cataldo Ambulance. TVERSKOY'S vehicle towed by TODYS.

Operator of MV1 states MV2 collided with the rear of MV1 at a slow rate of speed causing minor damage. Operator of MV2 also stated he was traveling eastbound on Beacon St at a slow speed. He stated he must have accidently hit the gas instead of the break while coming to a full stop. There was very minor damage to each vehicle, and no injuries were reported. On 2/14/20 at approximately 1809 hrs I responded to the area of 455 Nahanton St for a report of a MVA with air bag deployment. Upon arrival I spoke with the operator of MV#2 who stated she was not hurt. She further stated that the vehicle in front of her, MV#1, stopped suddenly because a deer ran across the street in front of him while he was driving. The operator of MV#2 stated she tried to brake in time but couldn't avoid collision with MV#1. I then spoke with the operator of MV#1 who stated the same story, he was traveling WB on Nahanton St when a deer ran across the road. He slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting the deer and was then rear-ended by MV#2. There were no injuries on scene, however the medics did respond and the operator of MV#2 signed a patient refusal. MV#2 was towed due to heavy front end damage. the operator was given in hand MA citation T2080487 for C.O violation 19-71; Following too Closely.
