OPER OF MV#1 STATED THAT HE WAS STOPPED AT THE INTERSECTION OF RACHAEL RD AND WINCHESTER ST (NB), WHEN MV#2 STRUCK HIS VEHICLE FROM BEHIND. OPER OF MV#2 STATED THAT SHE WAS TRAVELLING NB ON WINCHESTER ST, AND ATTEMPTED TO STOP WHILE APPROACHING THE INTERSECTION. OPER OF MV#2 STATED THAT SHE THINKS HER BREAKS FAILED CAUSING HER TO COLLIDE WITH MV#1. MV#1 SUSTAINED HEAVY REAR DAMAGE AND WAS TOWED. MV#2 SUSTAINED MINOR FRONT DAMAGE AND WAS TOWED DUE TO POSSIBLE BREAK FAILURE.

On 1/6/2019 at approx 1848hrs, while assigned to N-494, I responded to the intersection of Washington St and the Exit 17 off ramp for a 2 car MVA. All parties reported no injuries. Operator of MV1 stated in Portuguese and interpreted by her husband, that she was past the exit ramp stop sign and was stopped with her left turn signal yielding to incoming traffic. While attempting to merge to her left she was struck from behind by MV2. Operator of MV2 stated that she was also past the exit ramp stop sign when MV1 suddenly stopped in front of her. She was unable to stop and struck the rear of MV1. Both vehicles were towed by Tody's Towing. Towed Motor Vehicle forms completed and submitted.

Operator of MV#1 stated he was stopped southbound on Walnut St at Otis St waiting at the red light when he was rear ended by MV#2. MV#2 stated he was travelling southbound on Walnut St when he witnessed MV#1 turn left from Claflin Place onto Walnut St. MV#2 stated he rear ended MV#1. MV#2 admitted fault. MV#1 had no damage. MV#2 had moderate damage to the front of the vehicle. Both vehicles driven from the scene.

Oper of veh # 1 states she was stopped at stop sign at Comm and Fuller and was attempting to turn onto Comm when she was rear ended by vehicle # 2. Oper of veh # 2 stated he saw veh # 1 start to pull out onto Comm Ave so he thought he was good to pull up and didn't realize she was just inching ahead. He rear ended veh # 1 No injuries. Veh # 2 called for a private tow.

Operator of MV 1 (Mass reg. 439PE4) states he was traveling southbound on Centre Street when MV2 ( Mass reg. 7CW691) crossed his lane of travel and caused the MVA. Operator of MV2 states he was traveling northbound on Centre Street behind traffic. He states he attempted to stop but was unable to so he turned left towards Bellevue Street and struck MV1.

On 1/14/2019 at approx 07:34 Hrs. while assigned to 497 I responded to the area of Washington ST and 128 for a report of a two car collision w/o injury. Upon arrival I met with the operators of Ma Reg S89344 John BOUCHER and Ma Reg 5BH436 Justine CARLSON. BOUCHER was travelling E/B on Washington St , slowing for traffic when struck from behind by CARLSON.

On Tuesday, January 29, 2019, while assigned to Traffic unit N525, I responded to the intersection of Cherry Street and Webster Street, Newton for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a City of Newton owned vehicle. Cherry Street and Webster Street are both public ways maintained by the City of Newton. The weather at the time of the accident was overcast. The road surface was dry. The operator of MV1, John Bryant III (MA: S61611545), stated he was operating a City of Newton owned Volvo BL70 (MA MVN: M84236) Eastbound on Webster Street past Cherry Street. Bryant stated as he came to a stop in traffic, MV2 crashed into the rear of the vehicle he was operating. I observed minor damage to the rear bucket area of MV1. Bryant reported no injuries on scene and signed a patient refusal with Newton Medics. Bryant works for the Utilities Department with the DPW. The operator of MV2, Andrew Bell (NJ: B23900426706004), stated he was operating his 2013 Volkswagon (NJ: C54KKJ) Eastbound on Webster Street past Cherry Street. Bell stated he was following MV1 a little too close while they were traveling down Webster Street. Bell stated while traveling down Webster Street he looked down quickly but does not remember why, and when he looked up MV1 had come to a stop. Bell stated he could not avoid crashing into the rear of MV1. I observed significant damage to the front hood/windshield area of MV1. Bell was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital with a minor injury. Bell was provided with Massachusetts Uniform Citation T1272991 in hand for Newton City Ordinance Chapter 19 Section 71 (Following Too Closely) . Pictures were taken of both vehicles and submitted to the IT Bureau.

The operator of MV1 stated she was traveling Westbound on Washington St. at Church St. in the left travel lane and was coming to a stop behind several other cars at the red light. She stated as the light turned green she was struck from behind by MV2. As she proceeded to pull over, MV2 continued to travel Westbound on Washington St. and didn't stop. MV1 sustained minor damage to the right rear and was able to drive away from the scene safely. MV2 came back registered to GOMES, Leonel of 72 High St. Waltham, and dispatch requested Waltham PD respond to check for the vehicle. Waltham PD located the vehicle in the driveway and the registered owner was sitting in the vehicle. An ELMUS, Elmer was on scene to translate for the operator as he only spoke Spanish. Dispatch relayed to me that there was no status found on GOMES' license, and upon speaking to GOMES and ELMUS they confirmed he did not have a license or passport. GOMES relayed to ELMUS that he was aware that he struck MV1 at the intersection of Washington St. at Church St. He stated that the light was green and that he was traveling Westbound on Washington St behind MV1. He attempted to brake and turned his wheel to the right to avoid the crash, but struck MV1 in the right rear. He stated that he thought MV1 was going to leave so he didn't stop and drove back to his residence in Waltham. MV2 sustained minor damage to the front left bumper. All parties involved were uninjured.

Operator of vehicle 1 stated that traffic was coming to a hault and she slammed on her breaks to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of her. Operator of vehicle 2 stated she did not have enough reaction time to avoid hitting vehicle 1 and rear ended vehicle 1.

Opr of V2 stated he was behind V1 on Centre Street. Opr states both vehicles were waiting to turn right onto Washington Street. Opr states he was looking left waiting for an opening and did not look to see if V1 was moving. At this time, Opr of V2 started to travel forward and made contact with the rear of V1. Opr of V1 was not on scene due being pregnant. Her father Tom Sharpe was on scene and stated his daughter was waiting to turn right and was struck from behind. Sharpe stated his daughter had some pain to her neck and stomach region and his wife took her to the hospital. Both vehicles suffered minor damage and were not towed. Opr of V1 sustained minor injuries and went to the hospital with her mother. I was unable to make contact with Opr of V1, but Opr of V2 stated he knew he was at fault.

MV1 was traveling Northbound on Centre St., slowing down at the stop sign at the intersection of Cypress St., when she was struck in the rear of her vehicle by MV2. MV2 was traveling Northbound on Centre St. approaching Cypress St. when she struck MV1 in the rear. The operator of MV2 stated she didn't have enough time to react when MV1 was stopping. All parties signed patient refusals, and both vehicles were able to drive away from the scene safely.

Both vehicle 1 and 2 were traveling north on Centre St. Vehicle 1 stated a car in front came to a abrupt stop and turned left onto Colby Rd with no turn signal causing vehicle 1 to slam on breaks. Vehicle 2 did have enough reaction time to and rear ended vehicle 1.

operator #1 was stopped n/b at the intersection of centre st @ centre ave when she was rear ended by vehicle #2. operator #2 was behind vehicle #1 on centre st when vehicle #1 began to proceed out into the intersection( centre ave) when vehicle #1 suddenly stopped again. vehicle #2 had followed out behind vehicle #1 when vehicle #1 abruptly stopped again, vehicle #2 couldn't avoid crashing into the rear of vehicle #1.

Operator of MV1 states she was driving westbound on Woodward St. MV1 stopped for a pedestrian in the crosswalk at Plymouth Rd. MV2 was traveling directly behind MV1 and did not stop in time. MV2 collided with the rear of MV1. Operator of MV2 states MV1 stopped quickly, and she was unable to stop behind her, causing the collision. Neither party was injured. Both vehicles were towed by Todys. Operator of MV2 admitted she did not have a license. She was issued MA citation T1444158, for 90/10 unlicensed operation, and city ordinance 19/71, following too closely. Woodward St is a public way in the City of Newton.

Motor vehicle 1 (MV1) was traveling southbound on Centre St. As MV1 came to a stop in traffic, motor vehicle 2 (MV2), which was also traveling southbound, failed to stop in time and rear ended MV1. As a result of the crash MV1 sustained minor rear end damage and MV2 sustained minor front end damage.

Operator of MV1 stated while stopped at the red light, facing northbound on Walnut Street, MV2 struck the rear bumper of her vehicle. Operator of MV2 stated while stopped in the right lane on Walnut Street facing northbound, behind MV2, he saw the left turn signal turn green and proceeded forward. As he proceeded forward he rear ended MV1. MV1 had minor damage to the rear bumper. MV2 had minor damage to the front bumper. Operator of MV1 stated she felt dizzy and was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital. MV1 was left at the Whole Foods Parking Lot, employees were notified.

The OP. of MV#1 states she was stopped at the red light on the westbound left-turn lane of Washington St. She then suddenly felt an impact at the rear of her vehicle. The OP. of MV#2 states he was stopped behind MV#1 on the westbound left-turn lane of Washington St. The light turned green and MV#1 moved forward and suddenly stopped. The OP. of MV#2 had started accelerating and couldn't stop in time, colliding into the rear of MV#1.

Operator of MV1 states he was driving northbound on Centre St, coming to a stop at the light at Sargent St. He states as he came to a stop, MV2 did not stop behind him, and MV2 collided with the rear of MV2. Operator of MV2 states MV1 as coming to a stop at the light. He tried to stop but could not do so in time. No injuries were reported and no tows were needed.

Operator # 1 stated that he was coming to a stop in traffic while driving SB on Centre Street at Hyde Street when he was rear ended by vehicle #2. Operator #2 stated that he was driving SB on Centre Street, he saw the vehicle in front of him stopping. He attempted to stop but wasn't able too stop in time. He stated his car wouldn't stop due to the wet road. NFD was able to separate the two vehicle which were stuck by the tow hitch. Medics got 3 refusals. Vehicle #2 was towed.

Oper # 1 states she was driving NB on Centre street and was yielding to rotary traffic so she came to a stop and was rear ended by Veh # 2. Oper # 2 stated he was traveling NB on Centre Street and he thought the vehicle ahead of him would enter rotary and not stop. He was surprised when Veh # 1 stopped because no cars were coming. He was unable to stop in time or get out of the way. Both Vehicles towed by Tody's. When I came back to station to do report I realized Oper # 1 license was suspended and mailed her a citation. Centre Street is a public way in the City of Newton.

On June 24, 2019 at approximately 17:12 hours I responded to a two car motor vehicle crash on Washington St at the intersection of Prospect St. Both vehicles were pulled over facing westbound on Washington St. MV1 had rear end damage, while MV 2 Had front end damage. Both operators said that the vehicle in front of MV1 made a sudden stop and turned left onto Prospect St without signaling, MV1 had to brake suddenly and MV2 crashed into the rear of MV1. The operator of MV1 complained of back pain but declined transport to the hospital after evaluation. MV2 was towed from the scene by Tody's.

Vehicle #1 stated they were stopped on beacon st. facing east bound waiting for the light to turn green when she was struck in the rear by Vehicle #2. Vehicle #2 stated they saw Vehicle #1 slowing down and stop but was unable to fully stop in time and struck Vehicle #1 in the rear. Vehicle #1 had minor damage to the rear and was able to be driven away. Vehicle #2 had moderate damage to the front and was unable to be driven away. Vehicle #2 was towed by Tody's Towing. Bother operators were asked if they were injured and both stated they were not hurt in the crash and refused medical treatment.

At approximately 1740HRs on Tuesday, July, 23, 2019, I was dispatched to the intersection of Centre St. and Washington St. for a two vehicle crash. Upon arrival, I confirmed that all parties were not injured. The operator of MV1 (MA Pass: 375983) stated that as she traveled northbound on Center St., she stopped at the yield sign in the intersection, so she could enter Washington St. (eastbound). It was at this time MV2 struck MV1 in the rear. The operator of MV2 (MA Official: M94771) stated that as she traveled northbound, she observed MV1 stop at the intersection and began to enter Washington St. MV1 then stopped again and the two collided. I noted damage to MV1's rear bumper area and damage to MV2's front bumper area. Neither vehicle required a tow and left under their own power. I cleared without incident.

Operator of MV1 was traveling southbound on Centre Street approaching the intersection of Pleasant Street. He failed to apply the brakes in time to stop when he saw the operator of MV2 had stopped to allow another vehicle enter onto Centre Street from Pleasant Street. He estimated his speed at the time of the accident to be approximately 10 mph. Operator of MV2 was stopped on Centre Street allowing another driver pull out in front of her when she was struck from behind. Operator of MV2 complained of neck and back pain and was transported to NWH by Cataldo MED1. I observed very minimal damage to both the rear of MV2 and front of MV2. There were a few very minor scratches, but no other damage to either bumpers. The operator of MV1 and his passenger both signed patient refusals. Both vehicles were driveable and operator of MV2 was able to pull her vehicle into a parking spot on Centre Street.

On 8/7/2019 at approx 0937hrs while assigned to 497 I responded to the area of Quinobequin Rd and Washington St for a report of a minor two car crash. Upon arrival I met with James FOLEY and Christopher PAGLICCIA. PAGLICCIA was attempting to merge onto Washington St from Quinobequin Rd when he was struck from behind by FOLEY who was following to close.

Operator of MV1 stated he was waiting at the set of lights to turn left onto Quinebequin road from Washington when MV2 rear ended MV1. Operator of MV2 stated he saw the light turn green to take a left from Washington St to Quinebequin Rd when MV1 stopped due to traffic heading East on Washington St and rear ended MV1. MV1 had minor damage to the rear bumper. MV2 had minor damage to the front bumper. Passenger in MV1 was transported to NWH for kneck pain.

On 09/19/2019, while on patrol in marked cruiser 499, I, Officer Gamble was dispatched to 63 Carl St for a report of a hit and run. Upon arrival, I noticed damage to the left rear side of a blue Toyota in the driveway. The reporting party, Doris Rui, told me she was operating her husbands vehicle (Mass Reg # 495DT4 Toyt Rav4 Blue). Doris was driving north on Centre St at approximately 1500 hours. She stated the traffic light turned green and she started to travel through the intersection of Centre Street and Walnut Street. Both streets are public ways in the City of Newton. At this time she felt a vehicle crash into the rear of her Toyota. Doris pulled over to the side of the road on Centre St to exchange information and examine the damage. Doris stated The owner/operator of the other vehicle (later identified as Jonathan Wolfe) left the scene of the accident without leave any of his information. I placed a phone call to Wolfe's cell but he did not pick up his phone. Video Clips captured from Doris phone of the accident were uploaded to this report. Vehicle 1 (Mass Reg # 1FSK61 Honda Civic) suffered major damage to front ride side of the vehicle. Vehicle 2 (Mass Reg # 495DT4 Toyota Rav4) suffered major damage to the rear bumper of the vehicle. The operator of Vehicle 1 (Jonathan Wolfe) was charged with S90/S24 Leaving The Scene Of Property Damage (See Incident Report # 19039626). Both vehicles have insurance, and there were no injuries.

I responded to the intersection of Washington St @Beacon St at 1524 hrs 09/21/2019 for a two car MVA, no injuries reported. I arrived in the area and observed the two involved vehicles stopped curbside along the Eastbound side of Washington St. near Beacon St. Both operators were out of the vehicles, uninjured, standing on the sidewalk upon my arrival. V1; MA Reg 39WS51, 2016 Mazda/CX5 color blue. V1 Operator; Zannis, John MA OLN#S46913063. V2; MA Reg 1RXS11, 2019 GMC/Yukon color black. V2 Operator Pamela Broderick MA OLN#S85148110. The two vehicles were both traveling eastbound on Washington St.(public way) in traffic. As they came approached the intersection of Washington St. @Beacon St., V1 collided into the rear of V2. V2 sustained minor damage to the center rear bumper. V1 sustained moderate front end damage primarily on the left front/drivers side. The drivers airbag deployed at the stirring wheel. The two vehicles were both drive able and did not require towing service. The operators were advised and were given the crash report number.

On 10/11/19 at approximately 1719 hrs I responded to the intersection of Vine St and Lagrange St for a MVA. Upon arrival it was confirmed there were no injuries. I spoke to the operator of MV#1 who stated she was behind MV#2 and thought he turned onto Lagrange St from Vine St when she attempted to do the same but rear ended MV#2. I then spoke with the operator of MV#2 who stated he was trying to merge onto Lagrange St from Vine St when he was rear ended by MV#1. MV#2 was towed by Tody's towing with heavy rear end damage. MV#1 sustained minor front end damage and was able be drive away.

Operator of MV#1 stated he was travelling westbound on Washington St at Greenough St in the outside lane. A vehicle in the inside westbound lane slowed to let a vehicle turn left from the eastbound side onto Greenough St. Operator of MV#1 stated he slowed down to let the car turn when he was struck from behind by MV#2. Operator of MV#2 stated he was travelling westbound on Washington St and did not realize the car in front of him was slowing down until it was too late. He crashed into the back of MV#1. MV#1 suffered minor damage to the rear and left side. MV#2 suffered moderate damage to the front and right side. Both vehicles were driven from the scene. Both operators declined medical attention.

MV1 was traveling Northbound on Centre St and attempting to turn left onto Bennington St when MV2 rear ended her. MV2 was traveling Northbound on Centre St behind MV1 and rear ended her. There were no injuries reported, both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Oper of Veh # 1 stated she stopped at red light at Centre and Park and was rear ended by vehicle #2. Oper of Veh #2 stated that vehicle # 1 stopped short at a green light and she was unable to stop in time due to the wet roads. no tows. on injuries.

MV#1 operator stated she was in traffic on Centre St W/B opposite Aberdeen St. #1 stated she had slowed and then proceeded straight ahead thinking traffic ahead of her was moving forward. At that time, #1 rear ended MV#2 and #2 then rear ended MV#3. #2 and #3 operators both stated they were stopped in traffic when they were rear ended. #1 and #3 were not injured. #2 stated she had whiplash symptoms from impact. All were evaluated and signed patient refusals with medics. #1 sustained moderate front end damage; #2 appeared to sustain light front and rear end damage; #3 appeared to sustain damage limited to the rear bike rack apparatus attached.

Operator #1 reports she was stopped N/B at the intersection of Centre St @ Centre Ave when she was rear ended by vehicle #2. Operator #2 reports that he was behind vehicle #1 stopped on Centre St N/B when vehicle #1 began to proceed out onto Centre Ave. He also simultaneously began to follow out but at the same time looking to his left for E/B traffic on Centre Ave. As he was looking to his left vehicle #1 had suddenly stopped again causing him to crash into the rear of her vehicle. Operator #1 reported she was shaken by the impact and possible neck and back injury, however refused medical on scene. Operator #2 no injury. Neither vehicle required tows.

Operator of vehicle 1 stated he was traveling southbound on Lexington St when the vehicle in front of him stopped to make a left turn onto Orris St. Vehicle 1 came to a stop and was struck from behind by vehicle 2. Operator of vehicle 2 stated he was traveling southbound on Lexington St when vehicle 1 came to a stop. Operator of vehicle 2 attempted to stop but slipped do to the wet conditions and struck the rear of vehicle 1. Neither operator reported any injuries and neither vehicle required any tows.

MV#1 was traveling east on California Street when it was struck by MV#2. -OpMV#1 stated he was traveling east on California Street; he observed the yellow light and began to slow down. He stated he stopped and then he was rear ended. He did not report any injuries at the time of the collision. -OpMV#2 stated she was traveling east on California Street when MV#1 suddenly stopped and she struck MV#1. He did not report any injuries at the time of the collision. -I observed the damage to both vehicles. I observed the rear bumper of MV#1 was cracked, scratched and displaced from the frame. I also observed the trunk door was compressed in, and damaged. I next conducted an exterior damage of the MV#2 and I observed damage to the front bumper of MV. -No injuries were reported at the scene. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and neither operators were cited.

MV 1 was stopped northbound at the stop sign at Grant avenue at Ward St when MV 2 rear ended her. There were no injuries to the operator of MV 1. MV 1 sustained a few scratches. MV 2 was traveling straight facing northbound on Grant avenue when he rear ended MV 1 at the stop sign at Grant avenue at Ward St. There were no injuries to the operator of MV 2. The operator of MV 2 called AAA to get his vehicle towed because it was disabled. MV 2 sustained damage to the front of the vehicle.

The operator of Vehicle #1 stated that an unknown vehicle in front of him stopped short, causing him to brake suddenly. Vehicle #2 struck his vehicle in the rear as a result. The operator of Vehicle #2 stated a similar story.

On January 6th, 2020 at approximately 07:30 hours while working N491 I responded to a two car mv crash that occurred on Centre Ave at the Mass pike exit e/b side. On my arrival I spoke with driver #1 who stated he just came off the mass pike exit ramp onto Centre Ave when he was rear ended by mv #2. Driver #2 stated she was behind vehicle #1 on the exit ramp to the mass pike and when vehicle #1 pulled out into the intersection she followed him out at the same time looking to her left for on coming traffic not seeing that vehicle #1 had stopped in front of her causing her to crash into his rear drivers side. There were no injuries or tows for this crash.

On January 17th, 2020 at approximately 11:07 hours I responded to a two car motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Centre St @ Centre Ave. On my I spoke with operator #1, who stated she was stopped at the intersection of Centre Ave @ Centre St when she was rear ended by vehicle #2. Operator #2 reports that he was stopped behind vehicle #1 n/b at the intersection of Centre St @ Centre Ave. Vehicle #1 began to pull out into the intersection when she suddenly stopped again. Operator #2 attempted to stop as he had followed vehicle #1 out into the intersection but he crashed into the rear drivers side to mv #1.

Oper of Veh # 2 stated she was traveling EB on Commonwealth Ave., she was stopped at crosswalk when she was rear ended by Veh # 1. Oper # 1 stated she couldn't stop in time and admitted fault. Minor damage to Veh # 1, No damage to Veh # 2. Photos taken and given to I.T. No tows. No injuries.

The operator of MV#1 stated he was travelling westbound on Centre St when he was struck by MV#2 from behind. MV#1 sustained non visible damages to its rear end. The operator of MV#1 stated he was not injured. The fron passenger of MV#1 stated sustained non- incapacitating injury to her head. She was evaluated by Newton Paramedics and signed a patient refusal of treatment. The operator of MV#2 stated he was travelling westbound on Centre St directly behind MV#1 and observed MV#1 abruptly stop at the green light causing him to strike it. MV#2 sustained heavy front end damages. There were no reported injuries to the operator of MV#2. Based on the statements made to me, I issued in hand to the operator of MV#2 MA uniform citation #T2080050 for city ordinance violation 19-71 following too closely.

Mv#1 operator stated she was travelling on Walnut St N/B and looked to her left at a house for sale. #1 stated at that time she rear ended Mv#2 that was stopped in traffic ahead of her. #1 sustained heavy front end damage and was towed by AAA. Mv#2 operator stated he was travelling on Walnut St N/B and slowed to a stop for Mv#3 which came to a stop in front of him for a pedestrian crossing Walnut St at Hillside Rd. #2 stated at that time he was rear ended by #1 and was pushed forward into #3. #2 sustained significant rear end damage and appeared to sustain no damage to the front end. #2 was able to be driven away. Mv#3 operator stated she was travelling on Walnut St N/B at Hillside Rd and slowed to a stop for a pedestrian crossing Walnut St. #3 stated at that time she was rear ended by #2. #3 appeared to sustain no damage to the rear end. No injuries reported.

On 3/3/2020 at approx 1020hrs while assigned to 497 I responded to the area of 2150 Washington St for a report of a two car crash without injury. Upon arrival i met with the operator of Ma Con Reg V30821 Timothy MILLS and Ma Com Reg P45249 Charles BURGESS. BURGESS stated he was merging onto Washington St from 128NB Off Ramp when he was struck from behind by MILLS. No damage to BURGESS's work truck , minor front left damage to MILLS work truck.

On Friday, March 6, 2020 while assigned to Traffic unit N525, I responded to the area of the Countryside School (191 Dedham Street, Newton) for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a City of Newton contracted school bus. The weather at the time of the crash was clear and sunny. The road surface was dry. I spoke with the operator of MV1, Gianna Gemelli (S95586165). Gemelli stated she was traveling Southbound on Parker Street towards the Boylston Street (E) on ramp in a JSC Transportation owned 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan (MA SPN: 105641). JSC Transportation is contracted by the City of Newton to transport students through out the city. Gemelli stated as she was traveling on Parker Street, MV2 attempted to pass her on her driver side to take a left onto Boylston Street (E). Gemelli stated the front passenger side of MV2 made contact with the rear driver side of MV1. I observed minor damage to the rear driver side bumper area of MV1. Gemelli was transporting two students to the Countryside Elementary School at the time of the crash. The students in the vehicle were identified as Mayson Martinez and Hailey Nesvacil. No injuries were reported by any of the occupants of MV1. Countryside Principal Elizabeth Herlihy signed a patient refused for Mayson Martinez. Martinez's mother Rosa Mordan was notified of the crash by school staff. Gemelli signed a patient refusal for her daughter, Hailey Nesvacil. Regina Moody was notified of the crash. I spoke with the operator of MV2, Clary Binns (s100112165). Binns stated she was traveling Southbound on Parker Street towards the Boylston Street (E) on ramp. Binns stated she attempted to go around MV1 to enter the on ramp to proceed onto Boylston Street when the front passenger side of her vehicle made contact with the rear driver side of MV1. I observed minor damage to the front passenger side fender/wheel area of MV2. Binns reported no injuries. Prior to my arrival, Binns stated she had two passengers in her vehicle at the time of the crash that had left the scene. They were identified as Maya Bock and Jonatan Freedman-Naditch. I contacted parents for both parties to notify them of the crash. No injuries were reported. Binns, Bock, and Freedman-Naditch are all students the Meridian Academy in Boston. Clary Binns was provided with Massachusetts Uniform Citation T0115909 for Newton City Ordinance Chapter 19, Section 75 (Failure to Use Care). Photos where taken of both vehicles and submitted to the IT Bureau. Parker Street and Boyston Street are both public ways in the City of Newton.

Operator of MV1 states he was in traffic on Washington St at the intersection of Crafts St. He states the light turned green and he proceeded forward. Operator of MV1 states the vehicle in front of him did not move when the light changed and he needed to come to a stop. At that time MV2 collided with the rear of MV1. Operator of MV2 states he was stopped at the light behind MV1. He observed MV1 drive forward when the light turned green. MV1 then came to a stop, and MV2 was unable to stop in time. MV2 collided with the rear of MV1. No injuries were reported, and no tows were needed. Operator of MV1 was given citation #T1271354 for 90/10, unlicensed operation. A licensed driver was able to pick up the vehicle prior to officers clearing.

Vehicle 1 described as a 2019 Nissan Rogues color gray bearing MA Pan Reg 2SNN41 was stopped in traffic southbound on Parker St near the intersecting way of Hagen Rd. Both Parker St and Hagen Rd are public ways in the City of Newton. Vehicle 1 was then rear ended by Vehicle 2 described as a 2018 Ford Van color white bearing MA Con Reg S35168 which was traveling southbound on Parker St. As a result of the impact Vehicle 1 sustained damage to the passenger side rear bumper and quarter panel. Vehicle 2 sustained damage to the drivers side front bumper and fender. The operator of Vehicle 1 identified as Chelsea Halsor stated that she was stopped on Parker St due to another uninvolved vehicle which was stopped in front of her vehicle due to a pedestrian crossing Parker St in a crosswalk. Halsor stated that while stopped she was struck from behind by Vehicle 2. Halsor stated that the force of the impact caused her to hit her head on the steering wheel. Fire and Medics responded to the scene and evaluated Halsor. Halsor was released with a patient refusal. The operator of Vehicle 2 identified as Christopher Benoit stated that he was traveling southbound on Parker St and struck Vehicle 1 which was stopped in traffic. Benoit stated that he tried to avoid the collision by swerving to the right but was unable to and as a result struck the passenger side rear of Vehicle 1. Benoit stated he was uninjured. No other witnesses on scene. Vehicle 1 was driven from the scene by Halsor. An RMV check of Vehicle 2 revealed that the registration was expired as of 12/31/2019. Tody's responded and removed the vehicle. A Towed MV Inventory Sheet was completed. An RMV check also revealed that Benoits MA Drivers License (MA DL# S9550481) was suspended. As a result Benoit was issued in hand MA Uniform Citation T1268483 and cited for Mgl 90/23 Operation of a Motor Vehicle After License Suspension, Mgl 90/9 Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle on a Public Way and City Ordinance Violation 19-71 Following to Close.

On 6/27/20 at approx 1719 I responded to the area of Brookline ST and Hartman Rd for a report of a MVA with no injuries. Upon arrival I spoke with both operators involved in the accident. Operator of MV#1 stated she was traveling SB on Brookline St when she came to a stop to let a vehicle turn out of Spaulding Ln and then a pedestrian cross the crosswalk when she was rear ended by MV#2. Operator of MV#1 sustained no injuries and MV#1 had moderate rear end damage. I then spoke to operator of MV#2 who stated she was also driving SB on Brookline St when MV#1 suddenly stopped in front of her and she couldn't stop in time. She rear ended MV#1. MV#2 had heavy front end damage. The operator of MV#2 sustained no injuries. Bother operators signed patient refusals with the medics and both vehicles were able to be driven away.

On 07/15/2020, while assigned to N494, I, Officer Conary, responded to the intersection of Centre Street at Church Street for a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, I spoke with Operator of MV1 who stated that he was driving Southbound on Centre Street when the car in front of him stopped suddenly at the green signal. At this time, MV1 hit MV2 rear. Operator of MV1 said that he believes she was distracted with a hand held device. Operator of MV2 explained to me that she at the intersection of Centre Street and Church Street traveling Southbound. She got the green signal and she let the car traveling Northbound take a left turn onto Church Street before she continued through the intersection. At this time, MV2 was hit by MV1 from the rear. She stated she was not using her phone. It should be noted that the signal traveling Northbound on Centre is a green left signal to turn onto Church Street. After the green arrow, cars yield to oncoming traffic to turn. Fire and Medics arrived on scene and all parties involved signed patient refusals. MV1 was towed by AAA. MV1 had minor damage to the front bumper. MV2 was able to be driven from scene with minor damage to the rear bumper. No further incident to report.

On Monday, July 27, 2020, I responded to the area of Grant Avenue and Marshall Street, Newton for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a moped. The weather at the time of the accident was clear and sunny. The road surface was dry. Grant Avenue and Marshall Street are both public ways maintained by the City of Newton. The operator of MV1, Scott Dickerson (S63939963), stated he was operating his 2013 Nissan Altima ( MA: 3JT845) North on Grant Avenue towards Marshall Street. Dickerson stated he observed a party on a moped in front of him stopped on the right side of the travel lane. Dickerson stated he believed this party had pulled over to the side of the road. Dickerson stated he proceeded to drive past this party when the operator of the moped attempted to take a left turn onto Marshall Street. Dickerson stated the front of his vehicle made contact with the moped. I observed damage to the front end of MV1. The operator of MV2, Jerry Bertram (SA2730710), stated he was operating his 2019 YNGF Bintelli 49CC Moped North on Grant Avenue towards Marshall Street. Bertram stated he was stopped in the roadway waiting for traffic in the Southbound lane of Grant Avenue to clear so he could take a left turn onto Marshall Street. Bertram stated as he made his turn MV1 crashed into him. Bertram fell to the roadway and sustained an injury to his left leg/foot. Bertram was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Bertram signed a patient refusal with Newton Medics. Bertram has a learner permit to operate the moped. Bertram's moped was removed from the roadway by Tody's Towing. A witness to the crash, Michael Rothstein, stated he observed the crash right at impact and observed the moped fall to the roadway. Rothstein stated he pulled over to check on the operator of the moped. Rothstein provided a ride for Bertram after the crash. Photos were taken by Officer Schlegel and submitted to the IT Bureau.

Vehicle 1 was stopped in traffic on Commonwealth Ave at the intersection of Washington St. Both Commonwealth Ave and Washington St are public ways in the City of Newton. Vehicle 1 was located in the left turn lane of the westbound side of Commonwealth Ave. Vehicle 2 was located westbound side of Commonwealth Ave in the left turn lane. Vehicle 2 was located directly behind Vehicle 1. Vehicle 2 then moved forward colliding with the rear of Vehicle 1. Vehicle 2 then drove around Vehicle 1 and made a left hand turn on to Washington St from the center lane of Commonwealth Ave. Vehicle 2 left the area without leaving any identifying information. As a result of the impact Vehicle 1 sustained damage to the rear bumper. Since Vehicle 2 left the scene the damage to Vehicle 2 is unknown. No injuries were reported on scene, no transports were required. No tows were required. The operator of Vehicle 1 identified as Borris Partensky stated that he was stopped in traffic in the left turn only lane of Commonwealth Ave westbound awaiting the red light. Partensky stated that he was then rear ended by Vehicle 2. Partensky stated that he then got out of this vehicle and signaled to the operator of Vehicle 2 to stop. Partensky stated that Vehicle 2 did not stop, quickly drove around Vehicle 1 and made a left hand turn from the center lane of Commonwealth Ave on to Washington St. Partensky described the operator of Vehicle 2 as a white male in his early 20's with dark hair. Partensky described Vehicle 2 as a newer model Chevrolet Silverado Pickup color white with a paper temporary license plate. Partensky states that the license plate may have started with the numbers "33" and ended with "IT". The state of the license plate is unknown. Partensky stated that his vehicle is a Tesla which has the ability to take photographs. Partensky states he will download the images and send them to me. I also spoke to witness Deb Finamore. Finamore states that she is a city of Newton employee and at the time of the crash was operating her personal vehicle (Ford Escape color Black).Finamore also stated that prior to the crash between Vehicle 1 and Vehicle 2 she observed Vehicle 2 tailgating her vehicle as she was traveling westbound on Commonwealth Ave. Finamore stated that Vehicle 2 tried to pass her several times on Commonwealth Ave and eventually made a left turn off of Commonwealth Ave on to Temple St. Finamore states that she was stopped in traffic at the intersection of Commonwealth Ave and Washington St and was located directly in front of Vehicle 1. Finamore states that she then observed Vehicle 2 located behind Vehicle 1. Finamore states that she that when she got a green signal she made a left turn onto Washington St and heard the impact of the collision between Vehicle 1 and Vehicle 2. Finamore states that she then observed in her rear view mirror Vehicle 2 drive around Vehicle 1 and make a left turn southbound onto Washington St. Finamore states that she attempted to get the registration information of Vehicle 2 however Vehicle 2 continued southbound on Washington St at a high rate of speed. Finamore states that she then followed Vehicle 2 at a safe distance and observed Vehicle 2 commit a red light violation at the intersection of Washington St and the entrance of Newton Wellesley Hospital (2014 Washington St). Finamore states that Vehicle 2 went around stopped traffic at the intersection by entering the left turn only lane to pass stopped traffic to the right. Finamore states that she then observed Vehicle 2 commit another red light violation at the intersection of Beacon St and Washington St. Finamore states that Vehicle 2 entered the left turn only lane at the intersection to pass stopped traffic to the right. Finamore states that she then lost sight of Vehicle 2 as it continued southbound on Washington St. Finamore described Vehicle 2 as a newer model Chevrolet pickup truck color white. Finamore believes that Vehicle 2 had a paper temporary plate, unknown registration number or state of registration. Finamore described the operator of Vehicle 2 as a young white male in his 20's. On 08/03/2020 I was able to view photo's of Vehicle 2 taken by witness Deb Finamore. The photo's revealed Vehicle 2's rear registration plate as 333991T. An NCIC check revealed that this registration belongs to a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado color white out of Maryland. The Maryland RMV also lists the vehicle registration as stolen. No further information was provided by the Maryland RMV. In the photo's Vehicle 2 also appears to be a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado color white. At this time I am unable to identify the operator of Vehicle 2. I called and notified the owner of Vehicle 1 Borris Partensky of my findings. Partensky will be providing this information to his insurance company.

MV1 and MV2 operators had collaborative stories. Both MV1 and MV2 were operating southbound on Centre St approaching Cabot St (both public ways). MV1 was in front of MV2, and was slowing down to stop for the yellow light signal turning red. MV1 was rear ended, sustaining rear bumper damage. MV1 operator reported no injuries at this time. MV2 sustained front bumper damage, and MV2 also reported no injuries at this time. Neither MVs required a tow. MV2 operator was cited and given MA Uniform Citation warning # T2015086 for city ordinance violation, 19-71, Following too Closely.

Operator #1 stated she she was going N/B over the Centre St bridge when she was rear ended by vehicle #2. Operator#2 stated he was going N/B over the Centre St when vehicle #1 suddenly stopped in front of him causing him to crash into the rear of vehicle #1. There were no injuries due to this accident and neither vehicle was towed.

On August 26th, 2020 at approximately 10:54 hours while working N491 I responded to the intersection of Centre St @ Centre Ave(both public ways) for a report of a two car MV crash. On my arrival I first spoke with operator #1 who reported stopped at the intersection of Centre St @ Centre Ave. She then began to proceed out onto Centre Ave but had to stop again due to oncoming E/B traffic on Centre Ave. She then reported getting rear ended by vehicle #2. Operator #2 who was from Brazil and operating on her Brazilian driver license had to have an interpreter( Portuguese) who stated she was behind vehicle #1 N/B on Centre St, began to follow #1 vehicle out into the intersection when vehicle #1 suddenly stopped again. She was unable to stop and crashed into the rear of vehicle #1. There were no injuries and neither vehicle needed to be towed.

MV1 stated the vehicle in front of him of him "stopped abruptly" so when he hit the brakes, MV2 rear ended him causing minor damage. MV2 confirmed this chain of events and also sustained minor front end damage.

Vehicle 1 was stopped at the red light at the intersection of St James and Washington St. Vehicle 2 was approaching the red light and thought vehicle 1 was going to proceed after stopping. (right turn on red after stopping). Vehicle 2 rear ended vehicle 1.

MV#1 Was stopped at the intersection of Centre St and Washington St proceeding to merge into Washington St Eastbound. MV#1 Was struck by MV#2 on the right side rear bumper upon merging. OPMV#1 Stated he was merging into traffic and was hit from behind by a vehicle on his right bumper side. MV#2 Was stopped at the intersection of Centre St and Washington St, behind MV#1, proceeding to merge into Washington St Eastbound. MV#2 collided with MV#1 merging into oncoming traffic. OPMV#2 Stated she was merging into Washington St when she hit the vehicle in front of her. No tows were needed, and no injuries were reported.

On October 18th, 2020 at approximately 13:27 hours while assigned to N491 I responded to a report of a two car crash at the intersection of Centre St at Centre Ave. On my arrival I spoke with operator of vehicle #1 a red Jaguar, ma reg. 1dce54 identified as Andrew Felaita. He stated he was stopped behind vehicle #2 N/B at the intersection of Centre St @ Centre Ave. As vehicle #2 began to pull out into the intersection he looked to his left for any oncoming traffic on Centre Ave while simultaneously going forward. He then rear ended vehicle #2 as he didn't see that she had stopped again due to oncoming vehicles approaching E/B on Centre Ave. Operator#2 stated she was stopped at the intersection of Centre St @ Centre Ave when she was rear ended by vehicle#1.

Operator of MV1 (Ma Reg 3NWW40) stated she was traveling NB on Centre Street when she came to a stop light at the intersection of Commonwealth Ave. While waiting for the light her vehicle was struck in the rear by a school bus. Operator of MV2 (Ma SBN 42204) stated he was traveling NB on Centre Street approaching the intersection of Commonwealth Ave. Operator of MV2 stated that he stopped behind MV1 but was too close and he bumped the rear of the vehicle. The damage was minor to MV1 and MV2 had no visible damage. No parties claimed any injuries at this time. MV2 is a yellow school bus that was empty at the time but was being used as a shuttle service for Boston College. Both vehicles were able to drive off from the scene safely.

The operator of MV1 stated that she was traveling north bound in the left hand turn lane on Walnut street in front of the Mobile station. Operator had to stop short because she did not think she could make it through the yellow light causing MV2 to rear end her vehicle. The operator of MV2 stated that MV1 stopped short not giving them enough time to stop, subsequently causing MV2 to rear end MV1. There was no damage to MV2 and insignificant damage to the rear bumper of MV1. Neither operator was injured and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

On 12/8/20 I was working N492 when I responded to Crafts St. at Albermale Rd. for a report of a 2 car MVA with minor injuries. Upon arrival I spoke with the Operator of Veh 1 Megan Stekla. Stekla stated she was traveling Eastbound on Crafts St. when a Vehicle pulled out from Albermale Rd. to cross Crafts St. causing the car in front of her (Veh 2) to slam on the breaks, causing her to collide with Veh 2. I then spoke with the occupants of Veh 2 Brandon Alvarado and Sofia Alvarado. Brandon stated he was traveling Eastbound on Crafts St. when a vehicle attempted to cross over Crafts onto Albermale Rd. almost causing him to strike that vehicle. Brandon stated he slammed on his breaks to avoid the collision and was struck from behind by Veh 1. Sofia stated she had recently gotten a concussion and did not feel well. Fire and medics responded and Sofia was transported to NWH. The vehicles had minor damage and were able to be driven from the scene. Negative results on any description of the vehicle that cut across Crafts St. Both operators were provided a crash number.

On 1/2/2021 at approx 0847hrs while assigned to 497 I responded to the intersection of Washington St and Quinobequin Rd for a report of a MV Crash. Upon arrival I observed Ma Reg 35GM68 with front end damage stopped in the right eastbound lane of Washington St at the intersection of Quinobequin Rd, the operator, Silvaneide FADIL was still inside the vehicle with all front airbags deployed. FADIL denied being injured and stated she was coming through the green light from Wales St when the truck in front of her suddenly stopped causing her to crash into it. I spoke with the operator of the truck, who had managed to pull off to the side of the road, Joshua VINCENT, Ma Reg 1182BY, who stated he had just started into the intersection from Wales St after getting the green light when he observed a red Ambulance with lights flashing approaching from Quinobequin Rd, he stopped to allow the ambulance to pass when he was struck from behind by FADIL. VINCENT expanded that as he had just started into the intersection, he was going at a slow speed and did not need to stop suddenly. I was approached by a witness, Donald MCCARTHY( 617-438-1207) who stated he observed the ambulance come though and felt FADIL could not have been paying attention to not see it and stop. Both FADIL and VINCENT signed patient refusals with Fallon Ambulance, FADILS vehicle towed by Todys Towing.

Vehicle # 1 was stopped WB at the entrance to Whole Foods on Beacon Street when it was struck by vehicle # 2 also going WB on Beacon Street. There were fresh skid marks left by vehicle # 2. Crash was witnessed by Detail Officer R. Keefe. Oper # 2 was checked by medics after complaining of jaw pain. She signed a refusal. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Vehicle # 3 stopped on Centre Street SB so that he could turn left onto Cotton Street. This caused vehicle # 2 to stop on Centre Street behind him. Vehicle # 1 crashed into vehicle #2 causing it to move forward and crash into vehicle # 3. Oper 1 and 3 were transported to NWH. Oper # 2 was transported to NPD to await a ride. Veh 1 and 2 were towed by Tody's. Vehicle 3 was left on Cotton Street

On January 30th, 2021 at approximately 08:51 hours while assigned to N491 I along with NFD and Fallon Ambulance responded to the intersection of Center St @ Center Ave for a report of a two vehicle MV crash. On my arrival I identified operator of MV #1 as Elis Jamilet Perez Castillo. She reported first being on Center St N/B @ Center Ave stopped. She observed MV #2 who was in front of her on Center St proceed out into the intersection. She then also proceeded out into the intersection while at the same time attempting to change into another lane(go around MV#2) when MV#2 suddenly slowed in front of her. She attempted to brake but hit her gas pedal instead causing her to crash into the rear of MV#2. I then identified the operator to MV#2, Jaquan Coleman. He reported that he was entering out into the intersection of Center Ave E/B from Center St N/B when he was rear ended by vehicle #1. Both vehicles sustained significant damage. MV #1 was towed by Todys. Both signed patient refusals for Fallon Ambulance.

On 03/04/2021, while assigned to N494, I, Officer Conary, responded to the area of Centre Street at Washington Street for a two car motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, I, observed MV1 and MV2 side by side, both sides completely touching, in the far right lane of Washington Street. I asked all operators and passengers if they needed medical assistance and they declined. Operator of MV1 was able to move the car to a safer location. Operator of MV1 explained to me that he was entering Washington Street from Centre Street which is a single lane and collided with MV2. MV1 entered the single lane and he explained to me that MV2 entered the lane beside him and that's how the collision occurred. Operator of MV2 explained to me that he was behind MV1 on Centre Street entering Washington Street. MV1 began to enter the second lane on Washington street. Operator of MV1 remained in the right lane when MV1 swerved back into the right lane. MV1 hit MV2. MV1 had a front right flat tire and damage to the right side. MV2 had damage to the entire left side. MV1 had AAA respond to fix the flat tire. MV2 was able to be driven from scene. I assisted all parties with exchanging the proper information.

On 3/16/2021 at approx 0735hrs while assigned to 497 I responded to the area of 2150 Washington St for a report of a two car crash w/o injury. Upon arrival Ma reg T21826 operated by Igor Belmudes and Ma Reg 9AP948 operated by Hannah Temple were off to the side of the road, I spoke with the operators who stated they were coming off the 95N Off Ramp in heavy traffic w/ Temple 9 merging onto Washington St when she was rear ended by Belmudes. no injuries or tows

On March 16th, 2021 at approximately 08:56 hours while working N491 I responded to a report of a two car MV crash at the intersection of Centre St @ Centre Ave. On my arrival I located both involved vehicles. Vehicle #1 was a 2016 blue Toyota camry, MA tag 7HL412. The operator was identified as Renee Joseph. She stated she was on Centre St N/B and was attempting to merge out onto Centre Ave E/B when she was rear ended by vehicle #2. She reported having head and neck pain from the crash. However she declined medical attention at this time. Vehicle #2 was a 2020Toyota prius, MA tag 8ZZ382. The operator was identified as Jacob A Walker. He stated he was stopped behind vehicle #1 at the intersection of Centre St @ Centre Ave. As vehicle #1 began to enter out into the intersection he looked back to his left for oncoming traffic not realizing vehicle #1 has stopped again in front of him. He then crashed into the rear of vehicle #1. No tows were required from this crash. Operator #1 reported an injury but declined an Ambulance.

On Friday, March 19, 2021 while assigned to Traffic unit N525, I responded to the intersection of Boylston Street (E) and Walnut Street for a report of a crash involving a City of Newton owned vehicle. Boylston Street and Walnut Street are both public ways in the City of Newton. The weather at the time of the crash was clear and sunny. The road surface was dry. I spoke with the operator of MV1, Ms. Lizet Trabelsi (S07390016). Ms. Trabelsi stated she was operating her 2013 Infinity JX35 (MA: 8SXE60) eastbound at the Boylston Street (E) on-ramp near Walnut Street. Ms. Trabelsi stated as she was merging onto Boylston Street from her stopped position, a vehicle traveling on Boylston Street (E) abruptly took a right turn in front of her and continued to travel onto Walnut Street (S). Ms. Trabelsi stated she applied her brakes to avoid a collusion. At this time, MV2's front bumper area crashed into the rear of her vehicle. Ms. Trabelsi reported no injuries. I observed minor damage to the rear driver side bumper area of MV1. I then spoke with the operator of MV2, Mr. Paul Whelan (S63212595). Mr. Whelan is an employee of the City of Newton Water Department and was operating a City of Newton owned 2016 Ford Escape (MA MVN: M2530A). Mr. Whelan stated he was stopped behind MV1 waiting to merge onto Boylston Street (E). Mr. Whelan stated as MV1 began to merge onto Boylston Street, a vehicle already traveling on Boylston Street (E) turned off onto Walnut Street in front of MV1, causing them to brake quickly. Mr. Whelan stated the front bumper area made contact with the rear bumper area of MV1. Mr. Whelan stated he was traveling at a very low speed. Mr. Whelan reported no injuries. Photos of both vehicles were taken and submitted to the IT Bureau.

Operator 1 of MV 1 was stopped on Homer St (wb) attempting to take a left turn onto Walnut St (sb ) when MV 2 collided with the rear of MV1. Moderate damage to MV 1. No injuries to Operator 1. Operator 2 of MV 2 was traveling WB on Homer St when they thought that MV1 was going to turn and did not. MV 2 collided into the rear of MV1. No injuries to Operator 2 and passenger of MV2. Moderate damage to the front of MV2. MV 2 was towed by Todys towing. MV1 was able to be driven from the scene.

Vehicle one stated that he was cut off multiple times when driving eastbound on Washington St approaching Park St by vehicle two. Vehicle one was in the far left lane attempting to cross over to the far right lane to merge onto Park St. Vehicle two stated that while he was driving eastbound on Washington St vehicle one sped up and passed him and cut him off. Vehicle one then got in front and "break checked" vehicle two. Vehicle two then merged into a different traffic lane and passed vehicle one. Vehicle two then stated that vehicle one aggressively passed him again and "break checked him" again by slamming on his breaks. Vehicle two did not have enough time to break himself and rear ended vehicle one.

Oper of Veh # 1 stated she was stopped at red light on Centre Street going NB when she was hit by Veh # 1. She stated she has only been in the country for two weeks and showed me a Korea passport. Also rental agreement where she picked up car on 3/28/21. Oper # 2 stated she tried to stop but hydroplaned on the wet road while going down the hill. Veh # 2 was towed by Tody's

Vehicle one was turning right out of Maguire Court onto Crafts Street when he thought vehicle two was driving straight and didn't look until he made contact with the back of vehicle two. Vehicle two was slowing and stopped on Craft St trying to take a left hand turn onto Clinton St. Vehicle one rear ended vehicle two.

Operator of MV1 stated she was traveling Southbound on North Street, approaching the cross walk at North St and Albemarle Rd. As she was approaching the crosswalk, she observed a pedestrian waiting to cross. Operator of MV1 stated she stopped for the party to cross and MV2 struck the rear of her vehicle. Operator of MV2 stated she was traveling Southbound on North Street. As she was approaching Albemarle Rd MV1 stopped. Operator of MV2 stated she did not stop in time and rear ended MV1. Both parties were evaluated by the medics and signed a refusal. MV1 sustained damage to the rear bumper and trunk. Operator of MV1 was able to drive her car after the crash. MV2 sustained damage to the front bumper and hood. Operator of MV2 called for a private tow.

On April 9th, 2021 at approximately 14:53 hours while assigned to N491 I responded to a two car MV crash at the intersection of Centre St @ Newtonville Ave with injuries. On my arrival with the NFD I located both vehicles. First was a 2013 Subaru station wagon impreza, ma reg 5LMZ60 with heavy front end damage. The operator was identified as Ann Maria Harle. She reported going S/B on Centre St by Newtonville Ave when vehicle #2 suddenly stopped in front of her. She attempted to stop before crashing into the rear of vehicle#2. Vehicle #2 was a 2020 Jeep Cherokee, MI reg. EHJ9616 with rear end damage. Operator was identified as Lauren Duche. She reported going S/B on Centre St when a vehicle in front of he suddenly stopped due to a pedestrian crossing the street. She was then rear ended by vehicle #1.(cid:31)Vehicle #2 never made contact with the vehicle in front of her after being rear ended. Vehicle #1 was towed by Todys Garage Vehicle #2 was able to drive away. Fallon Ambulance check out all parties from both vehicles but all adults signed patient refusals.

Operator of MV#1 stating he was travelling straight ahead on Watertown St when he was rear ended by MV#2. Operator of MV#2 stated he was stopped at the light on Watertown St behind MV#1. He stated the light went green and they began to travel towards Waltham St at approximately 10mph when MV#1 stopped abruptly with no warning. MV#2 was not able to stop and rear ended MV#1. Passenger of MV#2 corroborated the driver's story and stated the truck in front of them stopped suddenly. There is a traffic light at the location of the crash that was red, however this light is for traffic coming down Washington St. MV#1 and MV#2 were travelling down Watertown St and that light did not apply to them. MV#1 was driven from the scene with no damage. MV#2 was towed by Perfection with heavy front end damage. Operator of MV#1(back pain) and the Passenger of MV#2 (knee pain) were evaluated by medics. Both patients signed refusals.

The OP. of MV#1 stated he was stopped on the eastbound lane of Washington Street, waiting to make a left turn onto Woodland Road when he was struck in the rear by MV#2. The OP. of MV#2 stated he was travelling eastbound on Washington Street and noticed MV#1 was stopped ahead waiting to turn. He was about to switch lanes and realized there was a car next to him and tried to brake, but still collided into the rear of MV#1.

Oper #1 stated she was stopped at red light on Walnut St (NB) at Commonwealth Ave when she was rear ended by vehicle # 2. Oper # 2 stated that he rear ended Veh # 1 on Walnut Street. No injuries No tows

On May 10th, 2021 at approximately 13:45 hours while assigned to N491 I responded to a MV crash near the intersection of Centre St @ Centre Ave. On my arrival I located both involved vehicles on Centre Ave just east of Centre St. Vehicle #1 was a white 2013 Chev. Cruz, MA plate 1WEP19, operator identified as Pierre Duckens. He reported that he was stopped N/B on Centre St @ Centre Ave behind vehicle #2. Vehicle#2 proceeded out into the intersection with vehicle #1 following behind while simultaneously looking to his(left) for oncoming E/B traffic. He then rear ended vehicle #2 after stopping again in front of him while he was still looking to his left. Vehicle #2 was a black 2015 Hyundai genesis, MA plate 1FKC71, operator identified as Jeannie chanyang Jung. She reported that she was stopped N/B on Centre St @ Centre Ave. She then began to proceedr out into the intersection of Centre Ave when she had to stop due to oncoming traffic coming E/B on Centre Ave. She was then rear ended by vehicle #1. Operator to vehicle #2 was checked out by the medics due to being pregnant but signed a patient refusal. Neither vehicle needed a tow.

MV 1 merged onto the Centre St bridge from Washington St and was operating northbound when he was rear ended by MV 2. MV sustained moderate damage to the rear bumper but was not a safety hazard and was able to drive. MV 2 merged onto the Centre St bridge from Charlesbank Rd when he rear ended MV 1. MV 2 sustained heavy front end damage and the bumper was hanging over the side. MV 2 was towed by Tody's towing as it could not be operated safely.

MV 1 was traveling westbound on beacon street, operator 1 stated he was proceeding to drive straight on Beacon St when MV 2 rear ended MV 1. Operator of MV 1 was checked out by medics on scene and signed a patient refusal. MV 2 was traveling westbound on Beacon St when he rear ended MV1. MV2 stated that there was solar glare. Operator 2 stated due to the height difference of vehicles it was hard to see the distances between each car.

Oper of Veh #1 stated he was stopped on Hammondswood Road attempting to turn onto Beacon Street when he was rear ended by Veh #2. Minor damage to the rear of Veh #1. Oper # 2 admitted to driving Veh # 2 and rear ending vehicle #1. He did not have a license. Vehicle # 2 was driven by passenger after accident that had a valid license. Citation mailed to oper # 2.

Operator of MV1 stated they were driving Northbound on Centre St. when they attempted to take a right turn Eastbound onto Franklin St. Operator of MV1 stated MV2 rear ended their vehicle as they were turning. There was minor damage to the left rear of MV1. Operator of MV2 stated they were driving Northbound on Centre St. when they hit the left rear of MV1. MV2 stated the road was slippery from the rain which caused their vehicle to slide on the roadway. There was minor damage to the left rear of MV1 and front right of MV2. There were no injuries and no tows.

The operator of MV1 stated he was traveling Westbound on Crafts St. at the intersection of North St. He stated MV2 stopped at the red light, and he wasn't able to break in time, causing him to rear end MV2. After a brief encounter, without exchanging information, he then drove away. The operator of MV2 stated he was stopped at the red light Westbound on Crafts St. at the intersection of North St, when he was rear ended by MV1. He stated the operator got out of the vehicle briefly, then proceeded back into the car and drove off. MV1 sustained minor front end damage. MV2 sustained minor rear end damage. All parties involved were uninjured. MV2 was able to drive from the scene safely. After further investigation, the operator of MV1, SOUZA DE BRITOS, Warley, was issued Massachusetts Uniform Citation # T2012851 for Chap. 90 Sec. 10 Unlicensed Operation, and Chap. 90 Sec. 24 Leaving the Scene of Property Damage. See incident # 21029622 for further information.

MV1 was stopped a few cars back from the intersection of Centre St at Ward St at a red light when a vehicle rear-ended him. The collision took place in front of 1010 Centre St while MV1 was heading Northbound on Centre St. MV1 sustained damage to the rear end bumper of the vehicle. The vehicle that hit MV1 sped off through the intersection continuing north on Centre St. MV1 was not disabled and the operator, Marc Cieri did not complain of any injuries at this time.

Operator #1 stated she was in the middle lane headed eastbound on Needham St preparing to take a left ( Northbound) on Winchester St. She was stopped at the traffic light when she was rear ended by Operator #2. The light turned green and she took a left and pulled over to the side of the road to exchange information. Operator #2 continued on without stopping. Operator #2 was described as white female in a white car. No further information provided. MV#1 suffered minor damage to the rear and was able to be driven from the scene. Operator #1 has a valid Chinese license.

Vehicle 2 was stopped at the intersection of Washington St @ Park St. heading eastbound. Operator stated that she witnessed the vehicle in front of her start to move forward in the flow of traffic but she herself did not accelerate yet. Operator then stated that vehicle number 1 rear ended her. Operator stated she had neck pain and signed a patient refusal with medics. There was only paint transfer of damage on the vehicle. Vehicle 1 was heading Eastbound on Washington St at Park St. when she thought vehicle 2 had started to proceeded forward. Operator of vehicle 1 stated that she then rear ended vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 had front end damage and no personal injury.

On Monday 8/23/2021 at approx 1420hrs, while assigned to N498. I responded to the intersection of Wells Ave and Nahanton St (public ways) in Newton for a two car MVA hit/run. Upon arrival I spoke with the operator of MV1, Sebastian Gallo, who stated that prior to the accident, he was stopped and waiting to take a right onto Nahanton St SB. He said the light was red and there were many cars preventing him from entering traffic safely. Gallo sated that the MV2, which was directly behind him, kept honking their horn. He said he moved his vehicle further, stopped again but was then struck from behind by MV2. Gallo said that MV2 then went around his vehicle, turned left onto Nahanton St(NB) and left the scene. Gallo's father, John Gallo was able to take a picture of MV2 license plate at the scene. MV2 had a MA reg plate of 5ZP590 which cam back to Geraldine Goldstein out of 677 Winchester St in Newton(The Coleman House). See incident report #21036212 No Injuries were reported.

On September 14th, 2021 at approximately 09:02 hours while working N491 I responded to a report of a MV crash on Centre Ave near Centre St. On my arrival I located one of the involved vehicles a 2013 Grey Honda Civic, Ma plate 11JL66, operated by a Rita Kraner. She stated she was going over the Centre Ave bridge E/B when she yielded to the traffic coming of the Mass pike E/B. Her vehicle was then rear ended by vehicle #2. However that vehicle continued East without stopping. Ms Kraner was unable to get a description of vehicle #2 other that it was possibly a white van. Vehicle #2 left scene without stopping. Operator #1 sustained head and neck injury but signed a patient refusal for Fallon Ambulance. Her vehicle didn't need to be towed.

MV 1 was stationary at the red traffic light at the intersection of Beacon St and Hammondpond Pkwy facing eastbound when MV 2 lightly rear ended MV 1. MV 2 signaled to have MV 1 pullover, MV 1 pulled over on Beacon st and MV 2 took a right on to Hammonmdpond Pkwy and drove away from the scene. MV 1 has a few small scrathces on the back bumper.

The operator of Vehicle #1 stated as he was travelling Northbound on Crafts St, a vehicle took a left turn from California St onto Crafts St, causing him to apply his brakes. Vehicle 2 then collided with the rear of his vehicle. The operator of Vehicle #2 stated that as he was travelling Northbound on Crafts St a vehicle pulled out from California St causing Vehicle #1 to apply his brakes. As a result, he collided with the rear end of Vehicle #1. All parties involved declined medical attention when it was offered. Both vehicles were towed from the scene as a result of being disabled.

The operator of MV#1 stated she was travelling northbound on Waverly Ave and had stopped to let a pedestrian with a dog cross the street when she was struck from behind by MV#2. MV#1 sustained moderate damages to its rear end. There were no reported injuries to the operator of MV#1. The operator of MV#2 stated she was travelling northbound on Waverly Ave (Directly behind MV#1) when MV#1 abruptly stopped. The operator of MV#2 stated she could not stop in time and struck MV#1. MV#2 sustained moderate front end damages and was leaking coolant. MV#2 was parked off to the side of the road and arranged for her own tow company. There were no reported injuries to the operator of MV#2 or its passenger.

On November 10, 2021, at 16:56 hours, Officer Guarino and I, Officer Joyce were dispatched to Commonwealth Ave & Water St for a motor vehicle accident. When we arrived we observed a 2 vehicle crash. MV1, operated by Kayla Brissett struck MV2, operated by William Tobin from behind. Mr. Tobin said he stopped when he saw the car in front of him turning left on to the carriage way.Ms. Brissett said she saw MV2 stop and tried to apply the brakes but could not stop on time. Ms. Brissett was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital by Fallon Ambulance Service. Mr. Tobin was also transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital by Fallon Ambulance Service. MV1 was towed by Tody's.

On Saturday 11/27/2021 at approx 1045hrs, while assigned to N-496, I responded to the intersection of Beacon St and Tudor Rd for a 2 car MVA. Upon arrival, both operators were standing on the sidewalk. MV2 sustained heavy front end damage and both its front airbags appeared deployed. MV1 sustained minor damage to its rear. Operator of MV1 states that he was traveling EB on Beacon St and slowed down to take a left onto Tudor Rd. He said before he was able to turn his vehicle he was hit from behind by MV2. Operator of MV2 states that he was traveling EB on Beacon St and wasn't sure what happened prior to the accident. He said he's not sure whether or not MV1 had his turn signal activated. Both operators signed medical refusals. MV2 was towed by Tody's towing service.

The operator of MV1 stated she was stopped in traffic at the red light Westbound on Commonwealth Ave at Centre St. The light turned green, and prior to proceeding, she was rear ended by MV2. MV1 sustained minor rear end damage. The operator of MV2 stated she was stopped in traffic at the red light Westbound on Commonwealth Ave at Centre St. The light turned green, and she proceeded too soon, striking MV1 in the rear end. MV2 sustained minor front end damage. Both vehicles were able to be driven safely from the scene. All parties involved reported no injuries.

V2 was turning right from Lexington St in order to go westbound on Commonwealth Ave. V1 was travelling behind v2, and also turning to go westbound on Commonwealth Ave. The front left of vehicle 1 rear ended the back right of vehicle 2. They pulled off to the side of the road. The operator of V2 accidentally put the vehicle in reverse, while trying to park. At this point v2 backed up into V1. No one was injured. I observed minor damage to both vehicles. The operator of vehicle 1 was issued a criminal complaint for unlicensed operation.

Operator of vehicle 1 was traveling westbound on River St towards Lexington St. Operator states she felt uncomfortable with how close vehicle 2 was behind her while she was driving. Vehicle 1 came to a stop at the red light on River St at Lexington St and was waiting for a pedestrian to cross before turning right onto Lexington St when she was struck from behind by vehicle 2. Vehicle 2 then backed up and drove around vehicle 1 and headed northbound on Lexington St. Operator of vehicle 1 immediately called 911 and followed vehicle 2 approximately 0.7 miles into Waltham where the vehicle stopped on Crescent St @ Brown St in the City of Waltham. Operator of vehicle 2 begged operator 1 not to call the police when at this time Waltham PD arrived on scene and notified us. After further investigation it was determined that the operator of vehicle 2 did not have a drivers license. No one reported any injuries and neither vehicle required a tow. I cited the operator of vehicle 2 MA Citation #T144336 for unlicensed operation and for leaving the scene.

The operator of MV1 stated he was traveling on Centre Street, North bound, when he stopped while entering Washington Street due to on coming traffic. When he stopped at the intersection of Centre Street and Washington Street, MV2 struck the rear of his vehicle. The operator of MV2 stated she was traveling North bound on Centre Street, approaching Washington Street. The light was green and MV1 began to yield on to Washington Street when MV1 stopped. The operator of MV2 then struck the rear of MV1 with her front driver side bumper. When I approached MV1, I did not observe any damage to the MV. I spoke with the driver and passenger. Both parties stated they were injured. When I asked what was injured they stated "everything". I then asked for the drivers license and registration. He handed me his license without any sign of pain. I requested two ambulances for the driver and passenger. When I returned to give the operator his license back, he stated he was unable to raise his arm now. The passenger was able to walk out into the ambulance. The driver needed assistance by the medics. Due to both parties requesting to be transported, Tody's responded. The operator of the towed vehicle would not provide Tody's with the key to the vehicle. Dave, was still able to tow the vehicle and he secured the doors prior to transporting the vehicle. Inside the vehicle their was numerous blankets, clothing and DVD's. A black cell phone was left in the Centre console. The operator of MV2 was not injured and I observed very minor damage to the driver side bumper. I checked MV1 again for any damage to the rear bumper and did not observe any damage.

On February 7th, 2022 at approximately 12:08 hours while assigned to N491 I Officer McCarthy responded to the intersection of Centre Ave @ Centre St for a MV crash. On my arrival I located both involved vehicles E/B on Centre Ave just beyond Centre St. Vehicle #1 was a 2018 blue Mitsubishi, Ma. plate 41r160, operator identified as Natalie Nierenberg. She stated she had just turned E/B onto Centre Ave from Centre ST N/B when she was rear ended by vehicle #2. Vehicle #2 was a grey 2008 Jeep Liberty Ma. plate 1zsk43, operated by a Steve Lewis. He stated he was heading N/B on Centre St behind vehicle #1 and was following behind her as she turned right east bound onto Centre Ave when he looked to his left for oncoming traffic simultaneously accelerating a little causing him to crash into the rear of vehicle #1.

On Friday, March 11, 2022, I responded to the area of Washington Street and Lowell Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash. The weather at the time of the crash was clear and sunny. The road surface was dry. Washington Street and Lowell Avenue are both public ways maintained by the City of Newton. The operator of MV1, Ms. Caroline Wilson (S14662375), stated she was operating her 2019 Mini Cooper (MA: 7GK482) Southbound on Lowell Avenue towards Washington Street. Ms. Wilson stated she came to a stop at the red light on Lowell Avenue, observed no traffic in the area, and then made a right turn onto Washington Street. Ms. Wilson stated after she completed her right turn, she observed the pedestrian signal activate in front of her and a pedestrian began entering a marked crosswalk on Washington Street to cross. Ms. Wilson stated she stopped her vehicle to allow the pedestrian to cross. Ms. Wilson stated at this time, MV2 crashed into the rear of her vehicle. Ms. Wilson reported no injuries. I observed damage to the rear passenger side of MV1. The operator of MV2, Ms. Geraldine Bartlett (S68389347), stated she was operating her 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Ma: 371TV3) Southbound on Lowell Avenue towards Washington Street. Ms. Bartlett stated she came to a stop at the red light on Lowell Avenue behind MV1. Ms. Bartlett stated she observed MV1 take a right turn onto Washington Street. Ms. Bartlett stated after MV1 made her turn, she observed no traffic in the area. Ms. Bartlett stated she then made a right turn onto Washington Street. Ms. Bartlett stated MV1 stopped in front of her in the roadway and she crashed into the rear of MV1. I observed damage to the front passenger side of MV2. Ms. Bartlett report not injuries. Both vehicles were able to be driven away from the crash scene.
