Narrative:
MA commercial reg M94754 (vehicle #1), a City of Newton pickup/sander truck, was located crashed over the curb in front of 1970 Beacon St. The vehicle was unoccupied, had the keys in the ignition, and was reported stolen just a few minutes prior to discovery. The reporting party of the stolen truck and uninvolved occupant is identified as City DPW worker George Sementelli. The witness/passerby who discovered the collision is also a DPW worker, identified as Donny Brandt. Pursuant to an investigation outlined in incident #19002213, the operator at the time of the crash was determined to be Michael Carter. It is believed that Carter stole the vehicle from 295 Auburn St, fled the area, and ultimately crashed in front of 1970 Beacon St. Corroborating facts outlined in the incident report put Carter as the operator. The vehicle itself was located partially on the sidewalk and partially on the road, therefore Carter is being cited with MGL 89/4A - Marked Lanes Violation (T1268423). Due to the fact it is believed that Carter fled the scene after the crash, MGL 90/24/C - Leaving the Scene of Property Damage was added as well as MGL 90/23/D Operating After a Suspended LIcense, and MGL 90/24/O - Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle. The crash occurred during busy weekday commuting about 0.7 miles from Angier Elementary School. The last 3 charges mentioned have been listed on a second citation (T1268422). Officer Brooks also issued T0648082 for OUI Drugs MGL 90/24/G. See the incident report for details about this charge. In total, there are (3) citations issued to Carter. The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage. It should be noted that the utility pole a couple of houses down from the crash site (Beacon/Varick Rd, pole #212) sustained fresh, minor superficial damage, consistent with the vehicle crashing into it before verring onto the sidewalk. Pictures have been taken and submitted to the IT bureau. Tody's responded and towed the vehicle to the police garage for processing due to the pending other criminal charges involved in this accident/incident. Michael Carter was subsequently placed under arrest and his citations have been placed into his property. Carter suffered a hand injury due to the crash an was transported to NWH Hospital for an evaluation after he was booked.

Narrative:
On 1/19/19 I responded to 25 Normandy Rd for a report of a past hit and run. I spoke with the Operator of MV#1 who stated the accident had taken place in front of Tom's Pizza, 423 Lexington St, at approximately 1830 hrs. Operator of MV#1 stated she parked her vehicle in a parking spot directly in front of the restaurant and went inside. When she returned approximately 5 minutes later she realized her vehicle had been rear ended. Two witnesses provided her with information about the accident and the plate number. (See witness narratives.) MV#1 suffered moderate damage to the rear and was driven from the scene. Waltham PD responded to the address listed for MV#2 and were not able to locate the vehicle. At approximately 2000 hrs, I was contacted at the police station by the owner of MV#2's wife. After further investigation (see incident report #19002425) it was determined that the operator of MV#2 at the time of the accident was the vehicle owner's brother. I spoke with Operator of MV#2 on the phone and he stated that the road was icy and slippery due to snow and he crashed into the back of MV#1. He stated he was nervous and thought he had only hit the sidewalk curb. Operator of MV#2 was issued citation T1440626 by mail for 90/24C Leaving the Scene of Property Damage, 90/10A Unlicensed Operation and 90/24 Use of MV Without Authority. He stated the vehicle suffered minor damage to the front.

I checked the area and was unable to find a vehicle matching the description. I responded to the crash location and spoke with the owner of MV1, who was not with his vehicle when it was struck. MV1 was parked legally on the shoulder of by 1743 Beacon St. The vehicle that struck MV1 left the travel lane and struck MV1 in the driver's side rear, causing damage. On Tuesday, February 5, 2019 I spoke with Alexis Laporte-Soto (S84358654). Laporte-Soto stated he was operating a 2017 Mercedes Sprint van (MA CON:T65665) in Newton for Metrowest Packaging on the date of the accident. I explained to Laporte-Soto the vehicle he was operating was alleged to have been involved in a hit and run accident on Highland Street in Newton. Highland Street is a public way maintained by the City of Newton. Laporte-Soto stated the vehicle he was operating hit the driver door mirror of a parked card on Highland Street. Laporte-Soto reported the accident as mirror (MV2 passenger side) to mirror (MV1 driver side). Laporte-Soto stated after his passenger side door mirror made contact with MV1's driver side door mirror, he stopped his vehicle 15 feet down the road. Laporte-Soto stated he walked up to the car he hit and saw the mirror was bent back but there was no damage. Laporte-Soto stated he waited near the car for 10 minutes and the owner never showed up. Laporte-Soto also stated a "random guy" took a picture of his license plate. Laporte-Soto stated he said "hi" to this party but the party ignored him and left the area. I asked Laporte-Soto why he did not call Newton Police to assist him in finding the owner of the vehicle he hit. Laporte-Soto stated he didn't know. I also advised Laporte-Soto that the name of the owner of the vehicle he hit was printed on the driver side door next. The owner's phone number and email address were also printed on the driver door. Laporte-Soto stated he didn't see that. I spoke with the owner of MV1, Jason Correria. Correria stated a co-worker observed the entire accident and observed MV2's passenger side mirror hit MV1's driver side mirror. Correria stated his co-worker then observed MV2 travel down Highland Street with out stopping and pull into the Santander parking lot located at 1314 Washington Street. Correria stated his co-worker saw the operator of MV2 exit his vehicle, check his passenger side door mirror for damage, and leave the area. Laporte-Soto will be mailled Massachusetts Uniform Citation T1443121 for Chapter 90, Section 24 (Leaving the scene of property damage).

Narrative:
On Sunday, February 3rd 2019, at approximately 11:45pm, I, Officer Brooks, responded to a single car MVA at the intersection of River street and Auburndale avenue. Upon arrival I observed MV1(MA REG 7TT558) in the travel lane with both tires broken free from the axle. I spoke with the operator who could not recall how the accident happened, or what was struck. After an investigation the operator was placed under arrest for 90/24 OUI Alcohol. Officer Boyle was able to assist in the accident investigation. It appears the operator had been traveling westbound on River street and struck a utility pole on the drivers side front tire. The vehicle continued to the intersection of River street and Auburndale avenue and struck a curb here on the passenger side tire. Both tires were broken free from the axles. The vehicle was towed by Tody's and an inventory form was filed. Eversource was notified about the pole.

On 02/08/2019, I, Officer Conary, responded to 309 Tremont Street for a past hit and run involving a pedestrian. Upon arrival, I was met by FEBLOWITZ, Colleen, who stated at approximately 1745 hours, she was crossing in the crosswalk at Tremont at Hibbard when her foot was hit by a car. FEBLOWITZ explained to me that she was in the crosswalk and she saw a silver sedan, MV1, traveling Eastbound on Tremont Street approaching her but it was far away where she felt safe to walk across the street. She said she also raised her hand to draw attention to herself. FEBLOWITZ was halfway in the crosswalk when she felt severe pain in her right foot. She looked behind her and saw MV1 was very close to her. MV1 continued to drive down Tremont Street and not stop. There were no witnesses. FEBLOWITZ went to Partner's Urgent Care to be treated for minor injuries. The crosswalk is in a lighted roadway. FEBLOWITZ was unable to gain any other information on MV1. No further incident to report.

The note stated "I saw someone back into your car, I got their plate, MA Reg TC58LC, Black Suburban". and there was minor damage to the drivers side doors. MA Reg TC58LC came back to a HUTTER, Carol of 67 Randlett Pk, Newton. I responded to that address and attempted to raise HUTTER with no answer at the door. I then called the phone number listed from a past incident with the Newton Police and HUTTER answered the phone. She stated she was at the Temple attempting to parallel park when she thought she may have hit another vehicle. She stated she got out to look at the vehicle and didn't see any damage, so she took a photo of the license plate and would try to report it once she got home. MA Reg TC58LC had several scratches on the bumper of the vehicle.

Narrative:
On 3/1/19 while working N493, myself and N492 Officer Selig were sent to the area of 1354 Washington St for a motor vehicle accident with reported injuries. On arrival, I spoke to Matthew Digregorio DOB7/2/74 ( hereby referred to as operator #1) who was standing on the sidewalk next to MA reg 134TR9 (vehicle #1 ). Vehicle #1 had significant damage to the front and right quarter panels. It was straddled between the travel lanes and did not have the keys in the ignition. It was immediately apparent that operator #1 suffered an injury to his head, as there was a moderate amount of blood and small pieces of glass stuck in his forehead area. I observed operator #1 to be unsteady on his feet, have bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. I could detect a moderate odor of alchoholic beverage coming from operator #1 as I was approaching him, which was apparent from about an arms length away (it should be noted that medics were already en route to the scene at this time). Prior to the medics arrival, I asked operator #1 for a brief synopsis of what transpired. Operator #1 stated that he had just left Paddy's Pub and was driving westbound on Hunter St (which is approximately 1/8 mile from our location) when he collided head on with vehicle #2. Vehicle #2 was not immediately visible upon police arrival, however was pointed out as being located at the intersection of Hunter and Putnam St. I asked operator #1 where he was heading, as Hunter St is a back road not directly in the vicinity of Paddy's. Operator #1 could not answer the question and also remained silent when I asked him how much alcohol he had consumed this evening. At this time the medics arrived on scene. I asked operator #1 for the car keys to reliquish to the tow truck operator, which is standard operating practice. Operator #1 reached into his pocket and then provided me with the keys. Due to concern over operator #1's obvious head trauma, he was then transported to NWH to be evaluated while the investigation continued on scene. Two other parties approached myself and Officer Selig. One was the operator of vehicle #2, MA reg 1RD999. Operator #2 is identified as Luke Ferdinands DOB 5/11/80. The other party who approached is identified as Douglas Dasilva-Pimenta DOB 6/2/86 (Dasilva-Pimenta will now be referred to as operator #3). Operator #2 states that he was taking a right onto Hunter St from Putnam St, when he observed vehicle #1 on the wrong side of the road approaching him head on. Operator #2 states vehicle #1 then collided head on with him, took a right onto Putnam St, and continued onto the Washington St overpass near 1354 Washington St. Operator #3 states he was inside of #5 Hunter St when he heard a loud crash coming from outside. He looked out the window and saw vehicle #1 traveling at a high rate of speed on Hunter St towards Putnam St. Operator #3 observed damage to the right side of his parked vehicle (now referred to as vehicle #3) MA reg 7CAK80. He immediately got in his vehicle and proceeded to follow vehicle #1, which then crashed into vehicle #2 head on. Operator #1 did not stop until it was obvious that operator #3 was following close behind. This ultimately landed vehicle #1 at it's final location near 1354 Washington St. Vehicle #1 and vehicle #2 were not driveable and were towed to Tody's. It should be noted that there was a passenger in vehicle #2 at the time of the collision. Airbags were deployed and medics checked out both operator and passenger. Both declined transport. The passenger is identified as Elizabeth Ferdinands DOB 5/22/53.Ferdinands' version of events coincide with that of operator #2. Upon speaking with Officer Selig it was learned that operator #1 dropped his cell phone several times as he was holding it on scene. Both Officer Selig and operators #2 and #3 observed this. Operators #2 and #3 both expressed concern over the obvious odor of alcohol eminating from operator #1, and the fact that he was unsteady on his feet. I responded to NWH to follow up with operator #1 however he did not wish to speak further. He did express concern over the well being of all parties involved. Operator #1 was issued in hand the following citations: T1268426 - 90/24 OUI Alcohol, 90/24 Leaving the Scene (property damage, vehicle #2), and 90/24 Leaving the Scene (property damage, vehicle #3). T1268425 - 89/4a Marked Lanes violation. T1269216 - 90/24 Negligent Operation of a M/V (mailed after consultation with superiors) All streets mentioned are public ways in the City of Newton. 1354 Washington St will be the address used on this report and subsequent citations due to multiple locations being involved. Citations and paperwork have been placed in the prosecutor's mailbox. An immediate threat form has been filled out and faxed to Mass DOT. *Attention Police Prosecutor for blood work subpoena, if applicable*

Narrative:
On Friday March 15th 2019 at approximately 0730 hours I responded to the intersection of Beacon Street and Herrick Road for a report of a hit and run involving a bicyclist. The weather at the time of the accident was cloudy and the road conditions were dry. Both streets are public ways in the City of Newton. Upon arrival I observed the victim identified as Glenn Butcher (MA OLN S36552335), inside the ambulance getting medical attention. Butcher was getting a bandage applied to his left leg and complained of leg, back and neck pain. Butcher appeared visibly shaken and in pain. Butcher stated he had the green traffic light and was travelling eastbound on Beacon Street crossing Centre Street and then continuing straight crossing Herrick Road. Butcher stated MV1 was travelling westbound on Beacon Street and took a left turn onto Herrick Road and collided into his bicycle. Butcher states upon impact he flipped over his bicycle and landed on the hood of MV1, before rolling off and landing on the ground. Butcher states he was wearing his helmet which was present. Butcher states his bicycle ended up partially under MV1. Butcher states the operator of MV1 pulled his vehicle to the side of the road and got out of his vehicle and spoke to several witnesses briefly. Butcher states the operator then left the scene without properly exchanging information and did not wait for the police to arrive. Butcher described the vehicle as a dark gray Honda, and described the operator as an older white male, 5'10 approximately 80 years old with white hair. Butcher was also able to provide an email address for another bicyclist who witnessed the accident. The witness left his information with Butcher prior to my arrival. Fire fighters on scene were able to get the registration number of the vehicle from the witness (MA REG 4CX148) and gave it to Officers on scene. Butcher was transported by Medic 1 to NWH with minor injuries. His bicycle had visible damage to the frame area and skid marks were present on both tires. 19 photographs of the scene and the bicycle were taken and sent to the IT dept. email. Officer Gabriel transported the bicycle to the station where it was logged into Property & Evidence for safekeeping. Dispatch was able to query the registration which came back to a gray, 2010 Honda Accord registered to a Matthew Sugarman (MA OLN S38601397), out of W. Roxbury. Dispatch contacted the Boston Police Dept. and had them send an Officer to the address to try to make contact with Sugarman. Sugarman was advised to contact the Newton Police Dept. and I was able to speak with him on the telephone. Sugarman states he was driving the vehicle today and was involved in an accident with a bicycle. Sugarman states he was travelling westbound on Beacon Street and was taking a left onto Centre Street not Herrick Road. While speaking with Sugarman he seemed confused as to his location during the accident and was adamant that he was turning left onto Centre Street and not Herrick Road. I advised Sugarman that I was on scene with the first responding Officers and the accident clearly occurred at the intersection of Beacon Street and Herrick Road based upon the final resting place of the bicycle. Sugarman went on to state that his vehicle was already turning when the bicycle struck his vehicle and he believed it was the bicyclists fault. I advised Sugarman it appears the bicyclist had the right of way since it was traveling straight and that because his vehicle was taking a left turn, he failed to yield for on coming traffic at an intersection. When asked why he did not stay at the scene of the accident Sugarman stated he got out of his vehicle and spoke to the bicyclist and he "seemed okay". Sugarman states he then left the scene while the victim was still sitting on the ground. I asked Sugarman if he had ever been involved in accident before and he replied "no." I advised Sugarman that I am currently looking at his drivers history and see nine accidents that he was involved in. Sugarman stated "he has never been in accident like this before." I then asked Sugarman what the law states when you are involved in an accident and he was not able to provide me with an answer. I advised him that the law states you must stop and exchange information before leaving the scene of an accident. Again he stated the bicyclist seemed okay and "he had somewhere to be so he left." Sugarman has an extensive drivers history including nine surchargeable accidents, reckless operation, two different charges of leaving the scene property damage and two immediate threat affidavits filed against him. I advised Sugarman that I will be mailing him a citation for Ch89 s8 Fail to yield to oncoming traffic, and Ch90 s24 Leaving the scene of personal injury. I also filed an immediate threat form with the registry. I emailed the witness using the information he provided to the Newton Fire Dept that was on scene and received a phone call back from the witness identified as Bruce Adams. See witness report for his statements. I contacted the Bank of America located at 808 Beacon Street in Newton, as they are the closest business to that intersection with video surveillance. I spoke with George Walsh (781-834-8275) who stated they do not have any working cameras on that side of the building to the bank. For this report the bicyclist is entered as a non-motorist for validation purposes. Witness Bruce Adams (MA OLN S96398108) stated that he was riding his bicycle travelling behind the victim about 100 feet away. Adams states he was watching the victim and had a clear view of him as he travelled behind him, through the green traffic light heading eastbound on Beacon Street. Adams stated he witnessed MV1 travelling westbound on Beacon Street take a sharp left turn onto Herrick Road which turns into Union Street. Adams stated that the vehicle turned left colliding into the bicycle and there was no possible way the bicyclist had time to stop to avoid the collision. Adams stated the victim flew over his handle bars and fell on top of MV1's hood and then landed on the ground. Adams stated the victim's bicycle was stuck under MV1's front bumper. Adams stated the operator of MV1 backed his vehicle up with the bicycle still attached to his vehicle bumper and pulled MV1 over to the side of the road. The operator then got out of his vehicle and walked up to the victim who was laying on the ground visibly in pain. Adams stated the operator asked the victim if he was okay to which the victim did not immediatley reply as he was visibly shaken up. Adams stated the operator then walked back to his vehicle and attempted to leave the scene and that is when Adams stood infront of MV1 to stop him from leaving the scene. Adams stated he then removed the bicycle from underneath the bumper of MV1 and placed it on the side of the road. Adams stated the operator got out of his vehicle again and walked up to the victim and asked him "what do you want to do?". Adams stated the victim did not respond and that is when the operator got back into his vehicle and drove away, leaving the scene before any emergency response arrived. Adams stated he was able to memorize MV1's registration and stayed with the victim until police, fire and medics arrived. He stated he gave the fire dept the registration and his contact information prior to leaving the scene.

Narrative:
On 03/20/19 at 09:43 hours, I responded to the Avalon Apartments at Newton Highlands located at 99 Needham Street for a past hit and run that occurred at the east end garage exit on 03/19/19 at 14:10 hours. I spoke to Senior Community Manager Karen Schueler who showed me video surveillance footage from yesterday's accident. In the video, you can see a blue Subaru Forester attempting to exit the east end of the garage to the property. The operator of the Subaru is identified by Ms. Schueler as a resident of the building as Gertrude Weinstein. After Weinstein scans her garage pass to exit, she then over steers towards the right and strikes the overhead garage door opening device. She then continues to exit the garage scraping the entire passenger side of her car along the device that is attached to the wall. I viewed the garage door and there was significant damage as it became detached from the wall. The door had to be placed out of service. After I spoke to Ms. Weinstein who admitted to striking the side of the garage door but only thought there was damage to her vehicle. No citation issued as the underground garage to the building is private property and not a public way.

Foster stated at the date and time of the accident he was stopped in traffic a few cars back from the red light. Foster stated he felt something "restraining" his vehicle, and then backed up a few feet. Foster stated he then left the area. Foster stated he saw his passenger side door mirror was collapsed and saw a black truck next to him. Foster stated the truck didn't attempt to stop him and turned off the street away from him. Foster stated he didn't think it was a problem and left the area. Foster added that he thought the black truck was moving left towards his lane when he felt something "restraining" his vehicle. Foster stated he didn't believe his vehicle was involved in an accident. Foster stated there is no damage to his vehicle. Foster was advised to contact this insurance company. Foster reported no injuries. Foster was updated as the operator of MV1.

Operator of MV1 states two people witnessed the hit and run who were both on scene. The first witness, Aaron Creecit, was making deliveries for UPS when he saw MV2, which was a motor cycle with a side car attached to it, take a left from Proctor Street onto Walker Street and struck MV1 with the side car portion of the motor cycle and left the scene. The second witness, Jeanette Even, who lives at 30 Walker Street witnessed the hit and run and stated she saw MV2 take a left from Proctor Street onto Walker Street and struck MV1 and left the scene. The first and second witness took down the registration plate (MA Reg: 2H7713) which came back to 27 Brooks Ave. I responded and found the motor cycle in the driveway covered by a blue tarp. I lifted the tarp and found damage on the right side portion of the side car, which would be consistent with the hit and run. I spoke with the operator of MV2, who states the motorcycle is new and she didn't realize she hit MV1. I issued the operator of MV2 in hand Massachusetts Uniform Citation #T1441458 for MGL Ch. 90 Sec. 24 (2) Leaving the scene of property damage (crash)

The owner of MV1 stated that he was working inside Mr. K's Discount Wine and Spirits when a witness came into the store and asked if he owned a white Toyota Camry parked outside and then explained that another car had backed into it and then left the scene. When he came out he observed a large dent in the passengers side rear bumper that was not there before. Officer Selig tracked down the owner of MA Registration 3EF576 at 20 Hale Street and the operator of MV2 admitted to being in the parking lot but denied striking MV1. It should be noted that while at Mr. Wendt's residence both Officer Selig and I observed MA reg 3EF576 parked in driveway of 20 Hale Street with damage to the left rear bumper consistent with how the witnesses stated MV2 struck MV1. Based on the 2 witness statements that express that the operator of the Nissan Pickup knew he struck another vehicle and still left the scene I issued the operator of MV2, Mr. Spencer Wendt, Massachusetts Uniform Citation T1443928, a criminal application to appear in Newton District Court for 90-24 Leaving the Scene of Property Damage. On 4/16/19 I was sent to 25 Chestnut St the Newton Police Annex for a past motor vehicle hit and run. On arrival I was met by LAU, Justin who stated that upon leaving work around 1530 hrs, he observed a fresh scratch to his personal vehicle. The vehicle, MA 9XS415, was parked backed into the marked parking spot against the exterior wall of 25 Chestnut St and closest to the handicapped ramp. This will now be referred to as vehicle #1. The scratch is on the passenger side doors. 25 Chestnut St is equipped with an exterior surveillance system which caught this incident on camera. At 1210 hrs it shows an older white male in a blue/green pickup make contact with vehicle #1 two times as he was attempting to park. The vehicle drove into the parking spot, hitting the passenger corner of vehicle #1's front bumper, then the passenger door, before coming to a stop. The male that exited the pickup had a distinct grey beard and hair. A still frame of the male was shown to employees inside of 25 Chestnut St who immediately recognized and were able to identify him based off of a check he had dropped off earlier. The party is identified as MASTROPIERI, Rocco DOB 2/16/40. I spoke with MASTROPIERI via phone and explained why I was calling. He informed me that he was at the Annex dropping off a check for the NPMA and did not realize that he made contact with vehicle #1 when parking. MASTROPIERI apologized and stated that he would have reported the incident, had he known. MASTROPIERI responded to headquarters where he was issued a written warning in hand for C.O. 19-75 Failure to Use Care in Turning. The Police Annex is a building/lot with public access in the City of Newton.

MV#1 stated while traveling Southbound on Centre St in the left turn lane at the intersection of Centre and Commonwealth ave. He stated he was at a complete stop waiting to turn left on to Commonwealth ave. He stated MV#2 was in the right lane adjasent to his vehicle when it took a sudden left turn on to Commonwealth Ave striking MV#1 in the right rear side oh his vehicle with the front left end of MV#2. He stated MV#2 then continued to drive behind him Eastbound on Commonwealth ave. MV#1 stopped on Read CT to evaluate the damage at which point MV#2 kept driving. MV#1 stated the car traveling behind MV#2 witnessed the incident and gatherd the plate information. The witness was not on scene upon my arrival nor did MV#1 gather their information. Newton Dispatch ran MA Reg 7EW346. The plate came back to a Black Honda Civic 2005 matching MV#1's description of the vehicle. The owner of the Civic was listed out of Brighton. I followed up at 78R Foster St Brighton, Upon arrival I noticed a black Civic matching the plate and description. The Civic had damage to the front end and damage to the back right side. I spoke with owner of the vehicle that stated he had not been driving today and had been at home. He did not know who was operating the vehicle at the time. Speaking with Medina the owner of MV#2 there was a significant language barrier issue. I will not be charging owner of MV#2 due to the vehicle damage not being consistent with MV#1 statements, as well as proof of operation. MV#1 was not towed. Operator of MV#1 stated he did not sustain any injuries at this time. Owner of MV#2 did not have any injuries to him consistent with being in a MV accident.

On 05/02/19 while on patrol I observed a Traffic Light Post knocked over and resting against a damaged wooden fence. The pole appears to have been struck by a vehicle as there are tire marks leading up to the base. The pole is resting against a new six (6) foot tall unpainted wooden fence belonging to #127 Elliot St. There was no response at the residence so I left a note for the homeowner on the front door. Pictures were taken by Traffic Officer Wade and dispatch notified the light company- Daigle Light . I caution taped off the area and pole to make it safe for passers by. There is no information on the vehicle that struck the pole and a canvass of the area revealed no further leads.

Narrative:
On 05/10/19 I met with Luiz A. Lopes who stated his vehicle ( Mass Commercial Reg# T83695 White Toyota Tacoma P/ U) was struck while parked in the lot around 07:00. Lopes said he didn't call the Police right away because he wasn't sure his car was struck there. The truck sustained a cracked front bumper and the fog light was popped out. We went inside of National Lumber and spoke with a manager who said he would contact G.M. Greg Assarian and have him look at the security footage. On 05/14/19 at approximately 14:00 the Police Station received a call from Lopes who just got off the phone with Assarian who found some security footage of the incident. I then traveled over to National Lumber and met with Assarian. He showed me the video and it appears that a newer grey four door Chevrolet truck backed into Lopes truck around 06:58 of 05/07/19. The Massachusetts plate is unreadable but an older White heavy set male gets out of the truck and walks into the store. After parking the truck the male can be seen checking his own truck bumper for damage. The male is wearing a baseball hat and sun glasses and cannot be identified on the video. The male does however walk with a noticeable limp. Assarian will show his picture to his employees and contact me if the employees are able to identify the male driver. I called Lopes back and apprised him of my findings. ******************UPDATE**************************************** As of today 05/20/19 I have yet to hear back from anyone at National Lumber so I will end this investigation and label it a hit and run crash.

Narrative:
I responded to #18 Karen Rd. at approx 1718 hrs on 06/11/2019 for report of a past MVA/H&R. I arrived on location and spoke to the vehicle owner identified as Kadish, Stephen CT OLN#068838132. Kadish showed me his vehicle CT PAS Reg. AU25356; 2019 Hyund/Elantra color Red. The vehicle has been parked curbside on Karen Rd. in front of the residence of #18 Karen Rd. The vehicle has been parked there since approx 1100 hrs 06/10/2019. The damage to the vehicle was noticed by the vehicle owner at approx 1700 hrs 06/11/2019. The damage was to the driver's side upper rear quarter panel to the left of the rear window. The vehicle appeared to have been cut into the metal by something possible attached to a truck or higher elevated vehicle. The damage sustained has been caused by an unwitnessed event. Mr. Kadish has been advised to contact his insurance company. I will be documenting this as a past MVA/H&R.

Narrative:
The operator of MV1 stated she was traveling Westbound in the right lane on Washington St. approaching the red light at the intersection of Lowell Ave. She stated MV2 was traveling Westbound on Washington St. in the left lane, and then came into her lane striking the left side of her vehicle. The operator of MV1 stated she told the operator of MV2 out of the window that she just side swiped her, and she responded that she did not. The operator of MV1 stated the light then turned green, at which time MV2 took a left onto Lowell Ave Southbound and never pulled over. I viewed the damage to MV1 which consisted of large moderate scratches down the length of both doors on the left side of the vehicle, enough for one to realize there had been a collision. Witness Jeff Bennett flagged down the operator of MV1 and provided the registration of MV2 as MA Reg 531PX6, a Black Mercedes SUV. The registered owner of MV2 matches the description provided as a blonde female with a pony tail, possibly in her 30's. I left a message with the operator of MV2, Colleen Butaney, who returned my call and stated she was traveling Westbound on Washington St. in the left lane approaching the red light at Lowell Ave. She stated she started to proceed into the right lane but saw MV1 and turned back into the left lane. She stated the operator of MV1 rolled down her window and stated that she just side swiped her car, to which she responded "no I didn't but I am happy to pull over". She stated at this time the light turned green and MV1 continued straight on Washington St. and didn't pull over. Mailing Colleen Butaney Massachusetts Uniform Citation # T1444505 for Chap. 90 Sec. 24/C Leaving the Scene of Property Damage (Accident).

Narrative:
The owner of MV#1 states that on 6/23/19 at approx. 11:30PM she heard a loud MV crash from her home. Owner was unaware which MV's were involved, but when she looked out her house window she observed a black pick up truck driving off towards Derby St. This morning she discovered that her parked and unoccupied MV was the other MV involved in the crash. MV#1 sustained heavy damage to the rear of her MV and her MV was pushed forward a few feet as a result of the crash. Owner is going to arrange for her own tow as it appears that her rear axel is broken. I searched the area for a black PU with front end damage on the passengers side with negative results.
