On 09/30/2020 I responded to the area of Waverley Ave and Brackett Rd for a single vehicle motor vehicle crash involving a utility pole. Both Waverley Ave and Brackett Rd are public ways in the City of Newton. Vehicle 1 described as a 2011 Kenworth commercial box truck (RI Con Reg 80859). Vehicle 1 was traveling southbound on Waverley Ave when it struck overhanging utility wires (Eversource Pole #44) located over the roadway near the intersection of Brackett Rd. As a result of the impact Vehicle 1 sustained major damage to the roof of the cargo area. The force of the impact caused the utility pole #44 to break in half. It should be noted that at the time of the crash the weather was steady rain with high winds. No injuries were reported on scene. The operator of Vehicle 1 stated that he was traveling southbound on Waverly Ave and did not see the power lines until it was too late. After further investigation it was determined that a tree(private) located on Brackett Rd had come down due to the high winds and landed on power lines. These power lines were also attached to utility pole #44. The force caused the power lines from utility pole #44 to sag over Waverley Ave. As result Vehicle 1 did not have enough clearance under the power lines. Vehicle 1 was towed from the scene by Tody's Towing. Towed MV inventory completed. Due to the live wires in the roadway, Newton Fire responded and secured the scene. Eversource was also notified and responded to the scene. Pictures were taken and submitted to the IT Bureau.

On 10/3/2020, I responded to 159a Charlesbank Rd. for a past motor vehicle hit and run. Upon arrival, I spoke with the registered owner of MV#1 whom stated, her vehicle had been parked in the driveway of 159 Charlesbank Rd. from 9/27/2020 through 9/30/2020. On 9/30/2020 she noticed damage to the front driver side bumper, damage to driver side door and a scratch on driver side front end. Several home health aides rotate taking care of the homeowner of 159 Charlesbank Rd, one in particular was working during the day on 9/30/2020. I have made a concerted effort to obtain such individual's name and phone number, however I still do not have that information at this time. No witness's or surveillance cameras in the area of 159 Charlesbank Rd.

The operator of Vehicle #1 stated that he was pulling out of the driveway at 414 Watertown St when he was struck by Vehicle #2, a Vespa scooter. He stated that a vehicle parked on the side of the road may have blocked his view of the scooter. The operator of Vehicle #2 stated that he collided with Vehicle #1 as it was pulling out of the driveway.

Based on observations, and statements made, the following occurred. M/V#1 was traveling north on Dedham St, and as it approached Rachel Rd. it began to turn left. As it did, it collided with M/V#2 which was stopped at the Rachel Rd. stop side, in the east bound lane of Rachel Rd.

On Tuesday, October 13, 2020 while assigned to Traffic unit N525, I responded to 18 Station Avenue, Newton for a 2 car motor vehicle crash. The weather at the time of the crash was rain. The road surface on Station Avenue was wet. Station Avenue is a public way maintained by the City of Newton. I spoke with the operator of MV1, Mr. Derrick Sobers (S31986103). Mr. Sobers stated he was operating a 2019 Freight MT45 box truck (MA CON: T93974) on Station Avenue (N). The vehicle is owned by Crown Linen Service Inc. Mr. Sobers stated he was pulling off of the roadway to the right in front of 18 Station Avenue when the rear passenger side area of his vehicle crashed into the front driver side of a parked 2020 Toyota Rav 4 (MA: 6RS841). This vehicle was parked unoccupied in a metered parking spot on the roadway. I observed minor damage to the rear passenger side of MV1 and minor damage to the front driver side/front driver wheel area of MV2. No injuries were reported.

On Tuesday October 13, 2020 at approx 1323 hours I went to the area of Anthony Rd at Anthony Cir for a report of a past hit/run that occurred at approx. 1215 hours in the westbound lane of 697 Washington Street. Upon arrival I met the operator of v1 Ms. OLGA KHOLODENKO, she stated she was traveling westbound in the left lane of Washington Street around the Whole foods area which is 697 Washington Street. She stated while traveling a red truck with a red trailer was on her right side traveling along side her, and while traveling the trailer had "swung" into her passenger side of her vehicle. She stated the truck/trailer kept traveling and she followed the trailer and took pictures while driving. She then went home and called her insurance company with the picture of the registration plate and they gave her the information which brought them at Anthony Rd at Anthony Cir, where the registered owner lived. The truck / trailer was not at the location. The trailer is MA trailer reg # C39390 a 2013 Brav trailer color red registered to CIRO CARBONE AND SONS INC 12 ANTHONY CIR NEWTON MA. Her vehicle is a 2020 Kia utility color white MA reg. 6ZG351. I observed some red transferred paint on her passenger side from the rear door to the front door. I advised them of process and I would look into the trailer. I was able to find the truck/trailer on California St at Dalby Street. I looked around the trailer and observed a minor scratch on the driver side of the trailer near the front of the trailer. I contacted the owner who due to the heavy rain all day sent home his employees. I will update oper 2 statement when I talk to him. At this time it appears with the trailer scratch being minor a reasonable person would have not known. Update: Monday October 19, 2020 I spoke with the oper of v2 via phone, he stated he was on Washington Street near Whole Foods traveling westbound with the truck/trailer. He stated he was traveling in the right travel lane. He stated the truck/ trailer was always in the proper slow lane and didn't know about the contact until I notified him. I advised him of the crash process.

ON 10-17-20 AT APPROX. 1504HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT 351 AUBURN ST. I SPOKE TO THE OWNER OF VEHICLE #1. OWNER STATES HE WAS IN THE CONVENIENCE STORE AT 351 AUBURN ST. WHEN HE WAS TOLD VEHICLE #2 HAD JUST HIT HIS VEHICLE WHILE IT WAS PARKED ACROSS THE STREET FROM 351 AUBURN ST. OWNER STATES VEHICLE #2 WAS BACKING OUT OF THE PARKING STALL AT 351 AUBURN ST. HIT HIS VEHICLE AND DROVE AWAY. OWNER WHISTLED TO VEHICLE #2 AND HE RETURNED TO THE SCENE. DRIVER OF VEHICLE #2 STATED HE WAS BACKING OUT OF THE PARKING STALL IN FRONT OF 351 AUBURN ST. HE INTENDED TO TRAVEL W-BOUND ON AUBURN ST. HE STATES A VEHICLE TRAVELING WEST ON AUBURN HAD STOPPED ABRUPTLY WHILE HE WAS BACKING AND HE WAS UNABLE TO MANEUVER HIS VEHICLE TO TRAVEL WEST SO HE CHOSE INSTEAD TO TRAVEL EAST. WHILE BACKING, HIS VEHICLES REAR RIGHT BUMPER HAD HIT VEHICLE #1 FRONT LEFT SIDE QTR. PANEL CAUSING DAMAGE. DRIVER OF VEHICLE #2 STATES HE NEVER FELT THE CRASH AND THE VEHICLE SENSORS NEVER SOUNDED. VEHICLE #1 HAD LEFT FT. QTR. PANEL DAMAGE. VEHICLE #2 HAD RIGHT REAR BUMPER DAMAGE. ALL PARTIES REPORTED NO INJURIES. ALL PARTIES ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

On October 18th, 2020 at approximately 13:27 hours while assigned to N491 I responded to a report of a two car crash at the intersection of Centre St at Centre Ave. On my arrival I spoke with operator of vehicle #1 a red Jaguar, ma reg. 1dce54 identified as Andrew Felaita. He stated he was stopped behind vehicle #2 N/B at the intersection of Centre St @ Centre Ave. As vehicle #2 began to pull out into the intersection he looked to his left for any oncoming traffic on Centre Ave while simultaneously going forward. He then rear ended vehicle #2 as he didn't see that she had stopped again due to oncoming vehicles approaching E/B on Centre Ave. Operator#2 stated she was stopped at the intersection of Centre St @ Centre Ave when she was rear ended by vehicle#1.

Operator of vehicle number 1 stated when he exited his vehicle he realized it was not in park, at which time the vehicle rolled approximately 8 feet into N491 while Officer McCarthy was typing a report. The operator of vehicle number 2 stated he was parked typing a report when vehicle number 1 struck the rear of his cruiser. vehicle number 1 sustained minor front end damage vehicle number 2 sustained moderate damage to the rear bumper Officer Walsh took several pics of the damage. Officer McCarthy was transported by the medics to NWH for further treatment due to back and neck pain.

The Operator of vehicle 1 stated he was traveling North on Dedham Street when vehicle 2 began to turn onto Dedham Street from Parker Street and crashed into him. This caused major damage to vehicle 1. The Operator of vehicle 2 stated she was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Dedham Street and Parker Street, she looked both ways and thought it was safe to turn left onto Dedham Street. She pulled out, began turning and crashed into vehicle 1. This caused major damage to vehicle 2. Both parties were evaluated by Cataldo Medics and signed medical refusals.

Operator #1 was driving northbound on Lexington St behind a white box truck (vehicle #2) when she observed the truck strike a large branch from a city tree in front of 450 Lexington St. The branch fell onto the hood of vehicle #1, and the truck continued north without stopping. I observed slight damage to the front of vehicle #1 however a tow was not needed. Medics responded and documented a patient refusal from operator #1. This incident was called in by detail Officer B. Keefe, who was working a National Grid detail at this location (one lane was blocked off by cones but there was still a full travel lane being utilized for northbound traffic). A plate could not be obtained by anybody on scene due to the crash occurring so quickly. It is believed that there was black lettering on the truck, however what it said is unknown. Forestry was notified to remove the branch from the roadway.

Operator of Motor Vehicle # 1 stated that she stopped at the green light on Washington Street (Eastbound ) waiting to take a left turn onto Beacon Street to gain access to the facility of CareOne at Newton. Operator stated she looked and was able to turn left and was halfway into the intersection when a jeep wrangler came out of nowhere driving fast causing her to make impact with vehicle #2. Passenger of Motor Vehicle # 1 stated that they had a green light and were stopped at the intersection of Washington Street and Beacon Street traveling Eastbound attempting to turn left onto Beacon Street. Passenger of Motor Vehicle # 1 stated that they started turning left because they had a clear path becasue a box truck was allowing them to turn and a jeep came out of nowhere which caused them to make impact with vehicle #2. Operator of Motor Vehicle # 2 stated that he was traveling Westbound on Washington Street and he had a green light at the intersection of Beacon Street and Washington Street. Operator of motor vehicle #2 stated he switched lanes to pass the box truck in front of him and he didn't see motor vehicle #1 attempting to take a left turn on to Beacon Street. Operator of Motor Vehicle #2 stated that he sped up to avoid impact with motor vehicle number #1however was unable to avoid impact. Motor vehicle #1 turned right into his drivers side door. Motor vehicle #1 sustained major front end damage and motor vehicle #2 sustained major damage throughout the entire vehicle. Both vehicles were towed by Tody's Towing. Operator and Passenger of Motor Vehicle #1 were transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital with no apparant injuries but for protocal and Operator of Motor Vehicle #2 was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital with possibly moderate injuries. Several photographs were were taken of the scene and S.D. card was placed in the I.T Bureau.

The operator of MV#1 stated she was travelling northbound on the driveway of 1000 Commonwealth Ave (Newton City Hall's front entrance on the Commonwealth Ave's side) when she sneezed and veered off her travel lane striking MV#2. MV#1 sustained minor damage to its passsenger's side rear bumper. There were no reported injuries to the operator of MV#1. MV#2 was parked and unoccupied on 1000 Commonwealth Ave (Newton City Hall's front entrance on the Commonwealth Ave's side) when it was struck by MV#1. MV#2 sustained heavy front end damages with its front bumper ripped off.

On 10/22/20, while assigned to N499, I, Officer Conary, responded to 80 Redwood Road, for a report of a single vehicle accident into a tree. Upon arrival, I met with the Operator of MV's husband who was standing by at the car. Operator of MV1 walked home to contact her insurance company but she was on her way back to the accident. Operator of MV1 explained to me that she was traveling Northbound on Redwood Road to her house when she was adjusting the air conditioner. She stated she looked down twice to adjust it and then she hit the tree. Operator of MV1 declined medical attention. MV1 had heavy front end damage and was towed by Tody's. There was minor damage to the City of Newton tree. Pictures were taken and submitted to IT accordingly. City of Newton DPW was notified of the debris in the road and sidewalk.

The operator of MV#1 stated she was parked in front of 1664 Centre St arranging packages inside the cargo area of her van (Amazon delivery van) when her vehicle was struck by MV#2 causing her to fall inside the cargo area. The operator of MV#1 stated she was shaken up but was not injured. Newton Paramedics along with Newton Fire evaluated her and she signed a refusal of treatment. MV#1 sustained moderate damages to its driver's side door. The operator of MV#2 stated she was reversing out of her driveway (1665 Centre St) and did not see MV#1 parked there when she struck it. MV#2 sustained moderate damages to its passenger side rear bumper. The operator of MV#1 along with its front passenger were evaluated by Newton Paramedics and Newton Fire and both signed a refusal of treatment.

Owner of vehicle 1 stated he was alerted by one of his workers that one of their work vehicles were just struck by another vehicle that took off and fled the area. The truck was parked in front of #48 Sargent St eastbound. The worker stated the other vehicle looked like a gray Honda civic. The truck did not require a tow and was unoccupied at the time. #48 Sargent does have cameras out front but look to be obstructed by trees and is unknown if they are operational. I canvassed the area with negative results.

Operator of MV1 (Ma Reg 3NWW40) stated she was traveling NB on Centre Street when she came to a stop light at the intersection of Commonwealth Ave. While waiting for the light her vehicle was struck in the rear by a school bus. Operator of MV2 (Ma SBN 42204) stated he was traveling NB on Centre Street approaching the intersection of Commonwealth Ave. Operator of MV2 stated that he stopped behind MV1 but was too close and he bumped the rear of the vehicle. The damage was minor to MV1 and MV2 had no visible damage. No parties claimed any injuries at this time. MV2 is a yellow school bus that was empty at the time but was being used as a shuttle service for Boston College. Both vehicles were able to drive off from the scene safely.

The operator of Vehicle #1 stated that she slowed for traffic ahead of her prior to her vehicle being struck in the rear by Vehicle #2. The operator of Vehicle #2 stated that Vehicle #1 stopped short prior to her vehicle's collision with the rear of Vehicle #1. Both operators declined medical attention when it was offered to them.

Operator of vehicle #1 was travelling West bound on Washington St. and was stopped in traffic for the red light at washington St. at Walnut. Operator of vehicle #1 stated vehicle #2 struck Vehicle #1 from behind. Operator of Vehicle #2 stated she was travelling West bound on Washington St. and did not sse that traffic had stopped in front of her. Vehicle #2 then collided with vehicle #1.

I did not speak with the operator because she was immediately put into the ambulance when I arrived. The operator did not appear to have any serious injuries and walked to the ambulance from her MV. Appears that MV#1 was traveling north on Seminary Ave when it veered to the left and struck the curb and then a light pole on the side of the roadway. MV was parked in a safe spot on Lasell property as it had only minor damage.

On October 28th, 2020 at approximately 08:13 hours while assigned to N491 I responded to the intersection of Newtonville Ave @ Lewis Terrace for a report of MV crash. On my arrival I located the two involved vehicles on the other side of the intersection on Lewis St. Vehicle #1 a grey 2016 Gray Mazda SUV, Ma reg 7vb971 operator identified as Katherine Anna Erler. She reported that she was stopped S/B on Lewis Terrace @ Newtonville Ave when vehicle #2 drove into the front of her vehicle as he turned left from Newtonville Ave. Vehicle #2 was a Red Grand Jeep Cherokee, Ma reg 1HKT75 operated by Paul Damore. He reported being on Newtonville Ave E/B attempting to turn left(N/B) onto Lewis Terrace when he got distracted by another vehicle coming from Lewis St and drove into vehicle #1. All streets mentioned in this crash are public ways maintained by the city. There were no injuries in this crash and neither vehicle needed to be towed.

The owner of MV#1 stated she came out of work at NWH at 0730hrs and noticed the passenger front of her vehicle was damaged. She stated that she parked her vehicle in the that space at 2330hrs the night before. I observed significant damage to the passenger front of the vehicle. It should be noted that I did not observe and parts on the ground or any debris indicating that the accident occurred in that location. The headlight was totally shattered out and there were missing parts from vehicle. There was also a fluid trail that appeared to be leaking from the front passenger side. This trail indicated that the vehicle was driven and backed in to the parking space after the collision took place. Based on my training and experience I do not believe that vehicle was struck in that location as a hit and run. There were no cameras in the area. The owner requested her own tow for the vehicle. I submitted a photo of the claimed hit and run scene to the IT bureau and it was attached to this accident report.

Single MVA. MV lost control on the roundabout on RT 16 Washington St heading EASTBOUND, hit an island and was laid to rest on the sidewalk of the MassPike bridge on Rt-16. Heavy front end damage, airbag deployment, undercarriage and front wheels damaged as well. A witness notified Lt. DAngelo in front of NPD HQ that there was a crash and two occupants got out, a man and a woman. Lt. DAngelo was able to locate the male walking on Washington St who was involved in the crash, later identified as Jonathan Kardas. He stated that he was the passenger and his friend who was driving the vehicle but ran away. Multiple units looked for the female individual who was Sonia Walker, the owner of the MV. Kardas signed a refusal with the medics. Tody's towed the vehicle. Sonia's Iphone was secured into property locker #2 in support services for safekeeping. Dispatch made multiple attempts to contact Walker but had negative results.

The operator of veh #1 stated she was driving due South down Boulder Rd when she struck Eversource Pole #1107/6. The operator was unharmed but the vehicle sustained heavy front end damage and was towed by Tody's towing. Eversource responded to asses their pole.

The operator of MV1 stated that she was traveling north bound in the left hand turn lane on Walnut street in front of the Mobile station. Operator had to stop short because she did not think she could make it through the yellow light causing MV2 to rear end her vehicle. The operator of MV2 stated that MV1 stopped short not giving them enough time to stop, subsequently causing MV2 to rear end MV1. There was no damage to MV2 and insignificant damage to the rear bumper of MV1. Neither operator was injured and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

The operator of MV1 states he was traveling southbound in the rear parking lot of 229 Walnut Street. The operator was pulling forward into a parking space when the operator of MV2 began to reverse and backed into MV1. The operator of MV2 states he was plowing the parking lot. The operator of MV2 was then reversing and either did not look or did not see MV1 pulling into the parking space. At this time MV2 backed into MV1. No injuries reported.

Oper # 1 stated she was driving NB on Centre Street and as she was crossing Commonwealth Ave Veh # 2 starting to turn in front of her and she was unable to stop. Oper # 2 stated he was going SB on Centre Street and was turning left onto Commonwealth Ave., he admitted to not seeing MV #1. Oper # 2 transported to NWH both vehicles towed by Tody's.

On November 1st, 2020 at approximately 14:02 hours while assigned to N491 I responded along with Newton Fire and Medic One to the intersection of Pearl St @ Jackson Rd for a MV crash with minor injuries. On my arrival I first observed in the intersection a green colored Volkswagon with Vermont tag,HPK270 with extensive damage. The other involved vehicle a white Jeep Wrangler, bearing Ma tag, 8WK846 was located on the property of the Lincoln Elliot School, 191 Pearl St, also with extensive damage. The operator of the green Volkswagon was identified as Viorel Marin. He stated he was going E/B on Pearl St and was approaching the intersection of Jackson Rd when the light had turned green. As he was entered the intersection vehicle #2 came from his right side(N/B) on Jackson Rd at, according to him, a high rate of speed causing his vehicle to collide with the Jeep. He doesn't remember much after that. I observed a small cut to his right knee and later he showed me a small abrasion to his forehead. All his air bags had deployed on contact with vehicle #2 . I located the operator of the Jeep who was sitting on the ground being assisted by an unidentified women(not a passenger). She appeared shaken but had no visible signs of any serious injury from the crash. She identified herself as Tara Feeley. According to Ms Feeley she had been travelling N/B on Jackson Rd and was attempting to continue straight across the intersection of Pearl St when she was struck by vehicle #1 in the intersection. The impact caused her vehicle to flip over unknown amount of times finally landing on the property to the Lincoln Eliot School. Based on operator #2's statements, my observations of the scene, damage to her MV, it appeared her vehicle after contact with vehicle #1, flipped over N/B across the intersection first hitting the traffic light on the northeast corner, additionally making contact with the utility pole just east of the traffic light before finally landing right side up on the property of the Lincoln Eliot School. She reported climbing out her passenger side window when her vehicle finally stopped. She said,"she was lucky she had her seat belt on". I agreed. Ms Feeley also reported that she was sure that her light was green as she entered the intersection. I attempted to locate any possible witnesses from the crowd that were gathered near the crash site. There were two that heard the crash but none that actually saw what happened. I couldn't locate any cameras near the intersection. Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to the extensive damage/both totaled. Both operators had minor injuries and both declined to be transported to the hospital. They signed patient refusals. Officer Danny Anderson later took several pictures of the crash scene and the all the property damage. Both utility companies were notified. The camera disc was placed in the technology bureau mailbox.

On 10/30/2020 owners of vehicle one and vehicle two stated they parked their car on opposite side of their residence of 15 Rogers St. Both owners of the vehicle stated they went away for the weekend. On todays date 11/01/2020 both parties returned home to notice their vehicles to be damaged. Over the weekend there was snow that needed to be removed and due to my training experience and the bright yellow paint transfer and how high the damage was to both vehicles, it is believed to be a plow. Vehicle one had significant damage to the front passenger side wheel well and passenger door. Vehicle two had a long deep scratch from the passenger side front door to the rear door. Both vehicles showed bright yellow paint transfer onto the cars.

On Monday 11/2/2020 at approx 0700hrs, while operating cruiser 504 and assigned N494, I was located at 90 Crafts St in Newton. While backing up my cruiser to turn around I struck a solid cement block, cracking the driver side tail-light and scratching the paint around it. It should be noted there was no signs of damage to the cement block. Photos were taken and submitted.

MV1 WAS ATTEMPTING TO EXIT 288 GROVE STREET PARKING LOT. WHILE HE WAS TRAVELING HIS VEHICLE HIT A BUMP WHICH CAUSED BOTH OF HIS FRONT WHEELS TO LOCK OUT, TO THE POINT HE COULD NOT OPERARTE THE VEHICLE. THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE ENTIRE DRIVER SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. OFFICER KANE AND I OBSERVERED THE TOW TRUCK OPERATOR STRUGGLE GETTING THE VEHICLE ON THE BACK OF HIS TRUCK BED BECAUSE THE FRONT WHEELS WERE COMPLETLEY LOCKED OUT. NO INJURIES.

MV1 was pulling out of the trader joe's parking lot. MV2 was backing out of the parking lot across the street from the trader joe's parking lot. MV1 began to turn left traveling towards Washington Street. MV1 did not notice MV2 backing out of the parking lot across the street. The rear fender of MV2 was damaged. There was no visible damage to MV1. There were no injuries. Both vehicles drove away from the scene.

Operator of MV1 was parked in a parking space next to MV2 which was unoccupied. While backing out of the parking spot, the drivers side mirror of MV1 struck the drivers side mirror of MV2. There was damage to the glass mirror of MV2. No injuries or tows were needed.

The operator of veh #1 stated she was driving due West in the underground parking garage of #89 Needham St-The Avalon Apts when veh #2 backed out of her parking spot. The operator of veh #1 stated veh #2 backed up too fast and struck the front passenger side quarter of her vehicle. Veh #1 sustained moderate damage and was towed by Tody's Towing. The operator of veh #2 stated she looked both ways before backing out of her parking spot and started turning when veh #1 drove into her vehicle . Operator of veh #2 stated veh #1 came out of no where. Minor damage to veh #2 rear bumper (drivers side and middle of bumper).

Mv#1 was parked unoccupied in front of 860 Beacon St E/B. #1 owner Lawrence Epstien stated he parked his vehicle at 0955hrs and returned to it at 1140hrs to find the rear window smashed out and collision body damage at the top corner edge driver's side of the window. During canvass for any possible witnesses, I spoke to a day care worker Ms Tiarra Taylor working outdoors in the playground next door at the church, approximately 848 Beacon St. She stated she observed at 1015hrs a beer truck driving E/B when the passenger side refrigerator door swung open and struck #1 as it drove by it. She stated the beer truck operator stopped on Beacon St because it was involved with a different simultaneous MVA at the same location with an unknown van that had tried to pass it on the left, no description. After swapping papers with the unknown van operator, the beer truck operator left the scene. The beer truck operator was described as a Hispanic male, 5'7'' wearing a Budweiser hat. The beer truck was described as a taller large heavy-duty-box truck type, not a shorter roll up-door-type. Further described with truck body mostly color blue with white, with Budweiser, Sam Adams and Boston Red Sox logos. Unknown plates and unknown Distributor names. No video cameras seen in this area. Further canvass was negative results. Epstien satisfied with investigation and was advised to furnish all information to insurance company. Epstien further advised NPD would assist with any new information received at a later time.

Operator of MV1, David Donahue of Tody's Towing, was dispatched to 256 Parker Street at the request by me to tow a pick up truck that was obstructing traffic. While he was on scene and loading up the pick up truck on the rear of the flat bed of MV1, operator of MV2 was attempting to drive around the tow truck. MV2 struck the driver side wheel area of the flat bed tow truck. Operator of MV2 stated he was unaware his steering wheel was turned all the way to the right when he stepped on the gas. This caused him to turn into the tow truck. MV1 had damage to the drivers side and wheel and MV2 had sustained damage to his passenger side. It should be noted that it appears that MV2 already had previous damage to the same area as duct tape was observed in the area that struck MV1. Neither party was injured and neither required a tow from the scene.

Bike was traveling east on Beacon St with the right of way. MV#1 was traveling west on Beacon St, and turning left onto Upland Rd. As the bike was traveling east past Upland Rd, MV#1 took a left onto Upland Rd in front of the bike. this caused the bike to crash into MV#1. Operator of the bike sustained injuries, and was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital. Operator of MV#1 sustained no injuries and signed a patient refusal. Pictures were taken and submitted to IT to be attached to this report.

MV1, operator:Oscar Benavidez was driving Eastbound on Beacon St and was attempting to turn right on to Chestnut St when he struck a bicyclist. MV1 stated "He was moving to the right side of the roadway to go around a vehicle that was making a left turn at Beacon and Chestnut. He didn't see a bicylist and heard something hit his car and that's when he stopped and observed a bicyclist on the ground". The bicyclist Jeffery Glassman complained about his right side being sore, but had no other visible injuries. He stated "he was riding his bike on Beacon St and about to be entering the intersection at Beacon and Chestnut when a vehicle pulled to the right and hit him" He signed the refusal on scene with EMS. No damage was done to MV1. Corrina Mieth witnessed the accident and stated "She observed the vehicle move over to the right side of the road and that's when the vehicle collided with the bicyclist". Pictures were taken of the scene.

On November 6th, 2020 at approximately 14:20 hours while assigned to N491 I responded to Centre St on the bridge over the Mass pike N/B for a report of a multiple MV crash with possible injuries. On my arrival to the scene I observed vehicle #1, a grey Honda civic, ma reg. rs794x resting half on the sidewalk the other half crushed into the rear passenger side of vehicle #2. I was then informed there were two additional vehicles involved. Vehicle #1 apparently first crashed into vehicle #2 after abruptly changing lanes into the lane MV#2 was stopped in. This set of a chain reaction in which MV #2 to was forced into the rear of vehicle(#3) which then forced vehicle #3 into the vehicle(#4). Vehicles 2 thru 4 were all stopped due to the signal light being red at the time of the crash. I located the operator to vehicle #1 sitting on the sidewalk bleeding from several areas to his face which he sustained from the crash. He was identified as Terrence Donnelly. He reported driving N/B over the Centre St Bridge and was changing lanes when he realized the traffic was stopped in that lane. He attempted to avoid hitting the vehicle(#2) now in front of him, by swerving to the right to go onto the sidewalk but he still slammed half his vehicle into the rear passenger side of vehicle #2. I spoke with the operator to vehicle #2 identified as Linda Borque. She stated she was stopped on the bridge N/B near the off ramp to the mass pike(exit17 W/B) when she was rear ended by vehicle #1. The impact forced her M/V into the vehicle stopped in front of her(#3). Operator to vehicle #3 was identified as Sylvie Miskovitch. She stated she was also stopped on the bridge N/B for the signal light when she was rear ended by vehicle #2 which forced her vehicle into the vehicle stopped in front of her(#4). Operator of vehicle #4 was identified as Ronise Dorce. She stated she was stopped on the bridge N/B just at the exit to the Mass pike W/B when she was rear ended by vehicle #3. All drivers sustained minor injuries and all declined to go to the hospital. Patient refusal forms were signed by all parties. Vehicle # 1 was the only MV towed from the scene by Todys.

Operator states that she was driving westbound on River St when she felt her vehicle hit something in the road. She did not see anything, but completely lost control of MA reg 1LFH86. The vehicle ended up hitting a utility pole and sustained heavy damage/airbag deployment. Upon inspecting the scene, a rotor was located on River St near Auburndale Ave. It appears that the vehicle's right front balljoint snapped and caused severe mechanical failure, in turn causing the operator to lose control. Medics documented a patient refusal and Tody's towed the vehicle to their lot. Eversource was notified to check the integrity of pole #25 in front of 169 River St.

MV1 was heading southbound coming from Centre Street. MV1 stated that he had the green light and began entering into the intersection heading towards the on-ramp of the Massachusetts Turnpike. MV2 stated that she was getting off the exit ramp of the Massachusetts Turnpike and had a yellow light heading westbound on Washington Street. MV2 drove through the yellow light trying to beat the light. MV2 struck into the drivers side of MV1. There was damage to the driver side door, and rear driver side door of MV1. There was damage to the front left bumper and front center bumper to MV2. There were no injuries from either party invovled. Both vehicles drove away from the scene.

On 11/10/2020 I responded to the area of 150 California St for a motor vehicle crash involving a City of Newton owned vehicle. California St is a public way in the City of Newton. Vehicle 1 described as a 2020 Kenworth T880 Truck owned by the City of Newton Forestry Division, was making a right turn into the driveway of 150 California St from the eastbound lane of California St. Vehicle 2 described as a 1994 Acura Integra was parked in the eastbound lane of California St just prior to the driveway of 150 California St. While making the turn the rear tire of Vehicle 1 made contact with the front driver's side fender of Vehicle 2. Vehicle 1 sustained little to no damage, Vehicle 2 sustained minor damage to the front driver's side fender. No injuries were reported on scene. No tows were required. Pictures were taken and were submitted to the IT Bureau.

Operator of Motor Vehicle #1 stated she was driving Northbound on Judith Road and was slowing down to stop at the end of the road to take a left (Eastbound) onto Brentwood Street. Operator of Motor Vehicle #1 stated that Motor Vehicle #2 was driving Eastbound on Brentwood Avenue and took a left onto Judith Road and drove right into the front of her vehicle. Operator of Motor Vehicle # 1 stated that Motor Vehicle #2 turned into her lane of travel. Operator of Motor Vehicle # 2 stated she was driving Eastbound on Brentwood Avenue and was turning onto Judith Road and Motor Vehicle #1 came out of nowhere and struck her vehicle. Motor Vehicle #1 and Motor Vehicle # 2 sustained moderate front end damage. there were no injuries due to this accident and neither vehicle was towed.

On 11/10/20 I was working N492 when I responded to the area of Albemarle Rd. at Crafts St. for a 2 car MVA. Upon arrival I spoke with the Operator of Veh 2 Jane Connor. Connor stated she was traveling southbound on Albemarle Rd. when she came to the stop sign at Crafts St., which she came to a complete stop at. However she believed she had enough time to get across the intersection and pulled into the roadway causing a collision with Veh 1. Connor stated it was her fault and she had misjudged the distance and speed of Veh 1. I then spoke with the operator of Veh 1 Tessa Lanfear. Lanfear stated while traveling east bound on Crafts St. Veh 2 Pulled out of Albemarle Rd. into the roadway in front of her causing a collision. Todys responded and towed Veh 2 at the owners request. Newton Medics obtained patient refusals for all parties involved. All parties were provided with a crash report number.

On Wednesday, November 11th at approximately 1730 hours, I, Officer Newton responded to the front desk for a report of a hit and run. Jonathan Bolivar stated that his truck (MV 1) was parked in the parking lot at National Lumber, located at 15 Needham St, today while he was at work. When he left work, at approximately 1700 hours, he went to his truck and there was a note on his windshield that stated somebody saw a vehicle bearing MA Reg CC4253 hit his vehicle and leave. The note did not specify how the vehicle was hit or any information on who left the note. Jonathan showed me scratching on the front passenger door of his truck. Attempts to reach the owner of MV 2 were unsuccessful. Traffic Bureau update (Officer Gaudet): On Wednesday, November 18, 2020, I attempted to make contact with the registered owner of MV2 (Myron Cohen - S78663105), with a negative result. A Hit and Run inquiry was mailed to Mr. Cohen's address.

On 11/11/2020 I, Officer Mildner, was dispatched to 48 Windermere Rd. for a report of Gas Lamp being struck by a single MV. Operator of MV1 stated that he was traveling Northbound on Windermere Rd when he took a left and pulled into the driveway of 47 Windermere Rd. in an attempt to back out and turn around. Operator of MV1 stated that as he was backing out Eastbound, he hit a pole containing a gas lamp at the top, right in front of 48 Windermere Rd. Witness 1 stated he saw Operator of MV1 pull into the driveway of 47 Windermere and back out directly into a pole containing a gas lamp at the top. There were no injuries. No damage to MV1. There was minor damage to the light pole and gas lamp. Fire was successful in turning off the gas. Pictures were taken and submitted to the IT Bureau.

On Thursday 11/12/20 at approximately 1745 hours while working marked unit n499 I was dispatched to the area of 210 Nahanton Street for a report of a vehicle striking a deer. Upon arrival I observed a deceased deer in the breakdown lane of the westbound side of Nahanton Street diagonally across from 210 Nahanton Street. Parked in the entrance to 210 Nahanton Street was a Hyundai Sante Fe bearing Mass registration 7HZ286 operated by NATHANSON Lucas. Lucas stated to me he was travelling eastbound on Nahanton Street when a deer came on to the road from the woods on the westbound side of the road. he states the deer ran in front of his vehicle causing him to strike the deer. The collision caused damage to the front drivers side of the vehicle as well as to the hood. Lucas was uninjured, however the deer was deceased. The deer was removed from the road by a good Samaritan.

ON 11-14-20 AT APPROX. 1208HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT 306 WALNUT ST. I SPOKE TO THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE #1. DRIVER STATES HE WAS TRAVELING N-BOUND ON WALNUT ST. HE STATES VEHICLE #2 STOPPED ABRUPTLY TO LET SOMEONE BACK INTO A PARKING SPOT AND HE WAS UNABLE TO AVOID HITTING HER. VEHICLE #2 STATES SHE WAS TRAVELING N-BOUND ON WALNUT ST. AND HAD STOPPED TO LET SOMEONE INTO A PARKING SPOT. WHILE STOPPED SHE WAS HIT FROM BEHIND BY VEHICLE #1. VEHICLE #1 HAD NO VISIBLE DAMAGE. VEHICLE #2 HAD MINOR REAR BUMPER DAMAGE. ALL PARTIES REPORTED NO INJURIES. ALL PARTIES ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. PICTURES WERE TAKEN AND PLACED INTO I.T. BOX. ALL VEHICLES WERE OPERATIONAL AND DID NOT REQUIRE A TOW. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

Operator of MV1 states he just left Wegman's where he works the overnight shift and was traveling home to 223 River Street. Operator of MV1 states he was traveling westbound on Commonwealth Ave and was going to take a right hand turn onto Lowell Ave when he doesn't know what happened and struck the concrete street light pole dislodging it from its base where it laid across MV1 and part of the roadway. It should be noted while speaking with the operator of MV1 there was a slight language barrier and he couldn't elaborate much on the events leading up to the crash. MV1 sustained heavy front end damage and air bag deployment. Medics were requested for an evaluation and found no signs of fatigue, impairment or injuries and cleared with a signed patient refusal. Coviello Electric was notified for the street light pole and the Newton Fire Department capped off the exposed wires from the base and it was taped off with caution tape. Tody's towing responded and removed the vehicle from the roadway. The operator of MV1 insisted on walking home from the scene.

OPERATOR OF VEHICLE ONE STATED THAT HE WAS DRIVING SOUTHBOUND ON WASHINGTON ST WHEN HE REACHED TO PICK UP AN ITEM ON HIS PASSENGERS SEAT. WHEN HE LOOKED UP HIT A VERIZON POLE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. VEHICLE SUSTAINED HEAVY FRONT END DAMAGE AND HAD TO BE TOWED BY TODYS. OPERATOR TOOK ALL ITEMS THAT HE NEEDED FROM THE VEHICLE. MEDICS RESPONDED AND THE OPERATOR SIGNED A PATIENT REFUSAL.

On November 16, 2020 at approx 1247 hours I responded to the area of 866 Beacon Street for a report of motor vehicle crash with City property damage. Upon arrival I spoke with the oper of vehicle 1 Mr. Quinn, he stated while traveling east bound on Beacon Street, he pulled over to park properly the right top corner of the dump body had contact with a City tree in the area of 866 Beacon Street. I observed the dump truck in the eastbound lane of Beacon Street with damage to the right side dump body, right side of truck cab, passenger side door, mirror and passenger side fender, there may have been more internal damage, but I could not asses due to the tree leaning against the truck. I looked around the crash site area, I observed the City tree was not trimmed properly and was too far into the roadway in the normal path of travel for all vehicles. Forestry arrived on scene cut up and disposed of the tree. I took pictures of the crash site area that I will download at the I.T. Bureau I advised Mr. Quinn of the process.

Vehicle One was attempting to change lanes to go around an unknown vehicle which was making a left turn onto Pearl St when its right front collided with Vehicles Two left side.Vehicle Two was travelling straight when Vehicle One entered his lane of travel. Both operators had the same version of events. There were no injuries. The operator of Vehicle Two requested a crash report due to his company policy.

On 11/11/20 at approximately 0710 hours, I responded to the intersection at Commonwealth Ave and Lexington St for a two vehicle accident. Operator 1 stated that he was stopped at traffic light and felt a large hit from the rear of his vehicle. His vehicle had minor damage and reported no injuries. Operator 2 stated that he was reaching to turn off his GPS and had rear ended the vehicle in front of him. His vehicle had major damage and was towed by Triple A. Hed reported no injuries.

On Wednesday, November 18th 2020, at approximately 3:40pm, I, Officer Brooks, responded to 624 Washington street, the Santander Bank, for an MVA in the parking lot. Upon my arrival I spoke with the operator of MV1 (MA reg 668EH9), who stated she was backing out of a parking space when she struck MV2(MA reg 27247 ) in the rear end. There was no visible accident damage to MV1. I spoke with the operator of MV2 who stated she was parked when her vehicle was backed into. The contact was to the rear of the vehicle, but the operator stated her car was now making noises and would not drive. I observed the front drivers side tire to be crooked from damage under the vehicle. The entire vehicle was covered in scratches and nothing distinguishable from an accident. The operator of MV2 stated her vehicle was struck hard, so I offered her medical attention which she declined. She contacted AAA to remove her vehicle. Both operators were provided this report number.

On November 19th, 2020 @ approximately 12:52 hours while assigned to N491 I responded to a report of a two car MV crash @ the intersection of Watertown ST@ Crafts ST. On my arrival I located both involved vehicles inside the parking area to the Fire Station. #191 Craft ST. Vehicle #1 was a red Hyundai Elantra Ma reg. 9le523. The operator was identified as Jennifer F. Coats. She reported travelling W/B on Watertown ST approaching the intersection of Craft ST when she began to brake due to the traffic ahead of her was stopped for the signal light(red). According to Ms Coats as she braked her vehicle failed to stop. Her vehicle subsequently crashed into the rear of vehicle #2. There was a possibility of mechanical failure her anti braking system. Vehicle #2 was a while chev. van ma reg. T79747 operated by a Joasua Eailey. He reported being stopped for the traffic light W/B on Watertown ST @ the intersection of Crafts ST when her was rear ended by vehicle #1. There were no injuries due to this accident and vehicle#1 was towed by Todys.

On 11/19/2020 at approximately 11:47hrs I responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a City of Newton vehicle. The crash occurred on Westland Ave near the intersecting way of Cherry St. Both Cherry St and Westland Ave are public ways in the City of Newton. Vehicle 1 was stopped in traffic in the eastbound lane of Westland Ave at the intersecting way of Cherry St. Vehicle 2 (City MV) was stopped in traffic on Westland Ave behind Vehicle 1. Vehicle 1 then backed up and struck Vehicle 2. As a result of the impact Vehicle 1 sustained minor damage to the driver's side rear bumper. Vehicle 2 sustained minor damage to the passenger side front bumper. No injuries were reported. No tows were required. Photos were taken and submitted to the IT Bureau. The operator of Vehicle 1 stated upon approaching the intersection of Cherry St, his visibility of on coming traffic on Cherry St was obstructed due to hedges located on the property of 271 Cherry St. The operator of Vehicle 1 stated that he then pulled forward and observed a pedestrian jogging southbound on Cherry St and a vehicle traveling southbound on Cherry St. The operator of Vehicle 1 stated that upon observing the pedestrian and vehicle he backed up and struck Vehicle 2.

On Friday 11/20/2020 at approx 1622hrs, while assigned to N494, I responded to 400 Washington St for a 2 car MVA. Operator of MV1 stated that she was trying to merge into the far right lane when she hit the driver side of MV2 which was traveling straight in the far right lane(right turn only lane). Operator of MV2 states that she was driving in the far right lane to turn onto Park St when MV1, on her left side, collided with the driver side of her vehicle. All parties stated they suffered no injuries.

MV1 stated she was on Watertown St heading w/b and "stopped, then turned left onto Adams St when the bicycle hit me." I observed minor damage to the driver's side front bumper, however the operator stated that she "did not know if that was old or new." I asked the operator if the bicycle was coming towards her or was travelling next to her to which both she and a witness stated "alongside on the left by the yellow lines." No tows required or injuries reported. The bicyclist stated he was travelling e/b and not w/b on Watertown St as the witness and operator of MV1 reported. The bicyclist further stated that MV1 was "stopped" in the intersection so "I continued straight and she turned right into me." The bicyclist further stated that he remembers seeing the "headlight and drivers side front hit the back of my bike." The bicycle was heavily damaged and the rear wheel was broken off. The bicyclist was placed in a c-spine collar by Cataldo Ambulance and transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital for abrasions to his head, left hand and right leg." Digital images of the scene were captured and turned over to the IT Bureau by Ofc Durickas. The bicyclist had a helmet, headlight, rear light and was wearing reflective clothing. It should be noted that the Village Bank has a camera which faces this intersection. Due to both MV1 & the bicycle being moved from the scene prior to my arrival, the conflicting stories regarding the direction of travel regarding the bicyclist, it is unknown at this time who is at fault.

MV1 stated they were traveling Northbound on Washington St. when an unknown MV also traveling Northbound crashed into the rear end of MV1 vehicle. MV1 stated the impact caused their vehicle to spin and knock over the St. James Circ. street sign. There was heavy damage to the rear of MV1. MV1 stated the vehicle that hit them was a blue pick up truck that fled the scene and countinued to the rotary at Newton Corner where they took a left onto Washington St. MV1 was unable to identify the driver or plate number associated with that vehicle. A canvass of the surrounding area was conducted for the blue pick up, yielding negative results. Tody's came and towed the vehicle. Operator of MV1 went to Newton Wellesley Hospital for an evaluation. The City was notified regarding St. James Cir. street sign that was down. Photos were taken and submitted to the IT Bureau.

Operator of vehicle one was stopped at the stop sign on border St at Elm St waiting to turn left onto Elm. Operator turned left onto Elm St and drove right into the rear of vehicle 2 which was legally parked on Elm St. Operator of vehicle 1 stated the heavy rain made it difficult to see. Vehicle 1 was towed from the scene by todys due to heavy front end damage. Vehicle 2 did not require a tow. Neither operator reported any injuries.

On Monday November 23rd, 2020 at approximately 1211 hours I responded to the intersection of Beacon Street and Walnut Street for a motor vehicle accident involving a city owned vehicle. Beacon Street and Walnut Street are both owned and maintained by the City of Newton. At the time of the accident the weather was rainy and the road surface was wet. Upon arrival I spoke with the operator of MV1 identified as Cameron McMaster (S69781203). He stated he was operating MA REG; 949DV4 and was behind MV2 which was stopped at the red light heading north on Walnut Street. MV1 attempted to turn into the right turn only lane when he sideswiped MV2. The operator of MV1 reported no injuries and was able to leave the scene. The operator of MV2 identified as Michael Sanford (S78122480) stated he was operating a City of Newton DPW truck MA REG; M6406A and was stopped at the red light at the intersection heading northbound on Walnut Street. MV2 stated he was struck on the back passenger corner of the truck by MV1 who was attempting to pass by him on the right hand side. Minimal damage was reported on the truck. The operator of MV2 reported no injuries and was able to leave the scene. Photographs of both vehicles and their damage was taken and submitted to the IT Bureau.

OPMV#1 Was traveling Northbound on Chestnut St, making a left turn onto Commonwealth Ave when she was struck by the OPMV#2. OPMV#1 Stated she had a green light and was making a left turn onto Commonwealth Ave when a vehicle went through the red light and hit her car. OPMV#2 Was traveling Eastbound on Commonwealth Ave and struck the OPMV#1 at the intersection of Commonwealth Ave and Chestnut St. OPMV#2 Stated she was attempting to stop at the red light but her foot slipped off the brake and pushed the accelerator causing her to go through the red light and hitting a vehicle attempting to make a left turn. Both vehicles were towed by Tody's Towing.

Operator 1 states he was traveling Northbound on Hammond St passing Hammondswood Rd. when vehicle 2 pulled out of Hammondswood Rd and struck vehicle 2 on the driver side rear door. Operator 2 stated that he stopped at the stop sign on Hammondswood Rd @ Hammond St. He thought vehicle 1 had a stop sign and that it was a four way stop. Vehicle 1 pulled into the intersection where he struck vehicle 2.

MV 1 was traveling straight Eastbound through a green light at the intersection of Washington St and Park St. At this time MV 2 entered the intersection and struck the front end of MV 1 decapitating the bumper. MV 1 stopped at the point of impact. The operator of MV 1 stated MV 2 continued traveling Northbound towards the direction of Watertown. MV 2's vehicle description was a white work van with some lettering on the side. The operator of MV 1 was unable to provide any plate information or what lettering was on the side of the van. The bumper was stored in the rear of MV 1 and the vehicle was driven away by the operator. MV 2 was traveling North on Park St and entered the intersection of Park St and Washington St. At this time MV 2 struck the front end of MV 1 and continued driving East towards Watertown.

On Tuesday, November 24th 2020 at 1733 hours, myself, N-496 R March and Sgt Selig responded to 1616 Centre St for a 3 car motor vehicle accident. Newton Dispatch was informed there were people injured on scene, but upon our arrival we observed no parties involved were injured. Medics checked all parties involved and patient refusals were signed. The first vehicle involved was (Mass Reg #5HW126, PORS CAYENN COLOR GRAY, operated by Michael Queen. Commerce Insurance). The second vehicle involved was (Mass Reg #7ZA446, 2004 HOND ACCORD, COLOR GREEN, operated by Guy Levin. Commerce Insurance). The third vehicle involved was (Mass Reg # 5HM522, 2018 VOLK ATLAS COLOR RED. Operated by Alan Kurd. Bankers Standard Insurance.) Driver 1 stated he was traveling south on Centre St when Driver 2 slammed on the brakes in front of him. Driver 1 stated he rear ended Driver 2 as a result. Driver 2 stated his vehicle was nearly at a stop on Centre St because of heavy traffic. Driver 2 stated Driver 1 collided into the rear end of his vehicle. Driver 2 stated the impact of the collision caused his vehicle to rear end Driver 3 in front of him. Driver 3 stated he was nearly at a stop on Centre St because of heavy traffic. Driver 3 stated Driver 2 collided into the rear end of his vehicle. All three vehicles suffered major damage. Todys' Towing came and took Vehicle's 1 and 2. Vehicle 3 was able to be driven from the scene.

Operator of MV1 states he was traveling southbound on Walnut Street at Lincoln Street when MV2 entered the intersection from Lincoln St and struck MV2. MV1 sustained minor damage to the back right passenger door. Operator of MV2 states he was traveling eastbound on Lincoln Street entering the intersection at Walnut Street. Operator of MV2 states two vehicles were in the middle of the intersection attempting to take a left from Walnut Street northbound onto Lincoln Street westbound and they were obstructing his view of the roadway. Operator of MV2 states when the two vehicles cleared he attempted to take a left onto Walnut Street northbound and struck MV1. MV2 sustained minor damage to the front right bumper. Pictures were taken of the crash and submitted to IT. There were no injuries due to this accident and neither vehicle was towed

Operator 1 stated that he was parked in a designated parking space in the lot of 259 Centre street when he viewed mv#2 backing up and getting close to mv#1. Operator #1 stated that he beeped his horn to alert mv#2. Mv#2 then struck the front passenger side of mv#1. Operator of mv#2 stated that he was backing up and did not realize that mv#1 was still parked there, he had believed the vehicle had moved. Mv#2 struck mV#1 with the rear of the passenger side. No injuries. Minor damage and paint transfer. All vehicle could be driven from the scene. Photos taken.

On 11/28/2020 at approx 0917hrs while assigned to 497 I responded to the area of Chestnut St and Beacon St for a report of a 2 car crash w/o injuries. Upon arrival I found Ma Reg 3GEH51 operated by Patrick Bowe to the side, facing the wrong way, in front of 584 Chestnut St, Ma Reg P73262, a Clifford s Flower delivery Van, being operated by Rochelle Driscoll was in the driveway of 584 Chestnut St with no damage. I spoke with Driscoll who stated she was travelling SB on Chestnut St attempting to turn left into 584 Chestnut St, Bowe was behind her and he swerved when she turned, trying to avoid colliding and ran into the utility pole on the corner. I spoke with Bowe who stated he was travelling SB on Chestnut St behind Driscoll , she turned left ,than backed into the driveway of 585 Chestnut St, as he began to pull forward she pulled out of the driveway of 585 across the roadway into 584 causing him the brake and swerve to avoid hitting her instead glancing off the utility pole in front of 584 Chestnut St. No damage to pole, Bowes vehicle had significant front left damage , when he attempted to pull away it appeared his front left axle was broken, Bowe pulled safely onto a side St and elected to call AAA for a tow.

The operator of vehicle 1 stated he was backing into a parking spot in the Newton Wellesley Hospital emergency room parking lot and backed into the drivers side rear tire fender of vehicle 2. This caused no visible damage to vehicle 1 and minor damage to vehicle 2. The operator of vehicle 2 stated there were no occupants in vehicle 2 when the vehicle was struck and he did not see what happened. Pictures of both vehicles were taken by me and submitted to IT.

The Operator of vehicle 1 stated that she was parallel parking in front of 1203 Walnut Street when vehicle 2 came up from behind her and attempted to make a pass while traveling mostly on the wrong side of the road and hit the front drivers side quarter panel of her car. This caused moderate damage. The operator of vehicle 2 stated he was traveling North on Walnut Street and when he went to pass a double parked vehicle the front passenger side quarter panel hit the drivers side quarter panel of vehicle 2.

Michael Brevde was operating Ma Reg 8MZ476 W/B on Washington St. Bervde states that he was taking a Left turn on to Lewis Terr when he was struck by Ma Reg. 467MBR. Jennifer Uhrig was operating Ma Reg 467MBR E/B on Washington St. Uhrig states that Brevde pulled in front of him taking a left turn when the accident occurred. Both vehicles towed by Todys. Uhrig transported to NWH by Cataldo.

Mv#1 operator stated he was behind Mv#2 on Walnut St N/B preparing to turn left on Beacon St W/B. #1 stated on the green light he proceeded to drive around #2 by entering the left turn lane. #1 stated as he passed by #2's trailer first where the left lane opening begins as marked by the white lines, #2 truck body veered left crashing into #1 passenger side front. #1 sustained two passenger side flat tires and moderate damage to passenger side front door hinge area. #1 was later asked on scene if he crossed the marked double yellow lines while driving around #2. #1 stated he did not and pointed out the exact spot where he stayed within his lane where the left lane started. Mv#1 was left in the Mobil garage parking lot at this intersection where he arranged to have his flat tires and/or rims repaired. #2 operator stated #1 was directly behind him in traffic. There was a slight language barrier with #2. #2 stated as he proceeded to enter the left turn lane on the green light, at the same time #1 reversed from behind him and then drove around him on the left causing the collision. #2 stated #1 drove around the double yellow lines at the time of the collision. #2 sustained moderate damage to driver's side wheel, tire and front end. Mv#2 arranged a private tow from the Mobil garage parking lot.

The operator of vehicle 1 stated that he was traveling East on Nahanton Street passing through the intersection at Wells Ave, when vehicle 2 took a left in font of him and he crashed into the passenger side front and rear doors of vehicle 2. This caused major damage to both vehicles. The operator of vehicle 2 stated she was turning left from Nahanton Street onto Wells Ave and thought she had enough time to make the turn when vehicle 1 crashed into her. Both involved parties signed medical refusals. Both vehicles were towed by Todys.

The operator of MV#1 stated that she entered Melrose St from Commonwealth Ave and after stopping to let another MV pass south bound, she proceeded north on a very congested Melrose St. The operator of MV#1 then noticed that something was wrong with her MV and pulled to the side of the road. Operator was then approached by the operator of MV#2 and informed that she had struck his MV. The operator of MV#2 stated that he was attempting to pull to the side of Melrose St (#230) because it was very congested with parked MV's on both sides, when his MV was side swiped (same direction) by MV#1. MV#2 was then pushed into MV#3, which was parked and unoccupied at the time of the crash. The operator of MV#2, a witness and an uninvolved resident all stated to me that the operator of MV#1 had attempted to leave the scene and lie about what MV actually struck the damaged MV's. I discussed this with operator #1 who stated she was unaware she had struck another MV until she noticed issues with her car and at first assumed it must have been the MV traveling in front of her. There were no reported injuries and MV#1 was towed due to a front broken axel.

Spoke with vehicle owner, Kasra Hadidi, who stated that he parked his vehicle in front of his residence, 291 Dorset Rd, at approximately 1800 hrs on monday 11/30/2020. When he returned to his vehicle at approximately 1800 hrs on Tuesday 12/01/2020 he drove it for a short distance and returned home. It was then that he noticed that the vehicle had been damaged. There is damage to the front bumper, passenger side, front passenger side quarter panel and rear passenger side quarter panel. I spoke with a teenage neighbor across from 291 Dorset Rd who stated that he heard the crash at approximately 2300 hrs on Monday 11/30/2020. when he looked out his bedroom window which is across from 291 Dorset Rd he observed a small dark SUV had crashed into the front of the victims vehicle. The small SUV then left the scene striking the rear of the victims vehicle. Neighbor is unsure of the make, model, color or any information about the operator.

OPER OF MV#1 STATED THAT HE WAS TRAVELLING ON MILL STREET (EB AT #122), AND THAT WHEN HE LOOKED AT HIS GPS FOR A SECOND, HE COLLIDED INTO A TREE. OPER WAS NOT INJURED. MV SUSTAINED HEAVY FRONT END DAMAGE AND WAS TOWED.

ON 12-2-20 AT APPROX. 0902HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE HIT AND RUN. UPON ARRIVAL AT 1250 WASHINGTON ST. I SPOKE TO THE OWNER OF VEHICLE #1. OWNER STATES HE WAS IN THE DUNKIN DONUTS AT 1250 WASHINGTON ST. HE STATES A FELLOW PATRON CAME IN AND STATED THE OWNERS CAR HAD BEEN HIT BY ANOTHER VEHICLE BACKING IN THE LOT. OWNER STATES AS HE CAME OUT THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVING AWAY AND HE WAS ABLE TO GET THE PLATE NUMBER ( MA REG : 5945YE ). VEHICLE #1 HAD A LEFT REAR BUMPER DENT.OWNER REPORTED NO INJURY. OWNER ADVISED TO CONTACT HIS INSURANCE COMPANY. A REGISTRY CHECK OF THE PLATE OF THE VEHICLE THAT LEFT THE SCENE CAME BACK AS THE OWNER BEING ( AUTOMATIC LAUNDRY COMPANY, 45 BORDER ST., NEWTON, MA. ). I WENT OVER TO 45 BORDER AND SPOKE TO ( SCOTT SCARPATO , 45 BORDER ST., NEWTON, MA. DOB: 1-22 -91). HE STATED THAT THEY DO OWN THE VEHICLE. HE BELIEVES IT WAS DRIVEN BY HIS GRANDFATHER ( SALVATORE SCARPATO ). HE STATED HIS GRANDFATHER IS ELDERLY AND PROBABLY DID NOT REALIZE HE HIT THE VEHICLE. HE STATED HE WOULD CONTACT HIS GRANDFATHER. HE FURTHER STATED THE COMPANY WILL PAY FOR ANY DAMAGES. I WAS UNABLE TO CONTACT SALVATORE SCARPATO AT THE TIME OF THIS REPORT. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

The owner of MV1 (MA Reg: 7ZS276) stated that she parked her vehicle on Court St at 0900 and when she returned at 1400hrs she noticed fresh damage. I observed minor damage to the drivers side front door and fender. There were no witnesses to the hit and run. I canvassed the area with negative results. Court St is a one way going east. MV1 was parked legally on the side of the road.

Operator of vehicle #1 City of Newton DPW employee Daniel Saulnier stated that on 12/02/2020 at 09:54 hours he was driving a City of Newton dump truck ( 2015 Frightliner MA reg MVN M9224 ) on Albany St near the driveway the runs between 281 Newtonville Ave and 285 Newtonville Ave. Saulnier stated that there were cars parked horizontally at the rear of 281 Newtonville Ave as well as two cars that were parked vertically behind the horizontal parked cars. Saulnier also stated that there was an electrical box at the north west corner of 285 Newtonville Ave. Saulnier stated that vehicle #2 ( MA par reg K5245 2017 BMW SUV ) was parked unoccupied facing east. Saulnier stated that due to the congestion caused by the vertically parked cars and the electrical box, the front driver's side of his truck's bumper made contact with the rear passenger side of vehicle two. Vehicle #1 had small scuff marks on it's driver's side front bumper. Vehicle #2 had scrapes to it's rear passenger side . Saulnier stated that he was not injured in the crash and neither vehicle required a tow. I took photos of both vehicles and had the disk downloaded by the NPD'S IT bureau.

ON 12-3-20 AT APPROX. 0938HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT 37 CRAFTS ST. I SPOKE TO THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE #1. DRIVER STATES HE WAS TRAVELING N-BOUND ON CRAFTS ST. WHILE TRAVELING HIS TRAILER ( VEHICLE #2 ) WAS HIT ON THE RIGHT SIDE BY VEHICLE #3 AS SHE WAS EXITING THE DRIVEWAY AT 29 CRAFTS ST. DRIVER OF VEHICLE #3 STATES SHE WAS STOPPED IN THE DRIVEWAY OF 29 CRAFTS ST. WAITING TO TURN LEFT AND ENTER THE TRAFFIC ON CRAFTS ST. DRIVER OF VEHICLE #3 STATES HER VISIBILITY WAS OBSTRUCTED BY A YELLOW BUS PARKED ON CRAFTS IN FRONT OF 29 CRAFTS ST. AS VEHICLE #3 ENTERED THE TRAFFIC LANE SHE HIT THE RIGHT SIDE OF VEHICLE #2. VEHICLE #1 HAD NO DAMAGE. VEHICLE #2 HAD A RIGHT SIDE FLAT TIRE AND POSSIBLE BROKEN AXLE. VEHICLE #2 WAS TOWED BY PERFECTION. VEHICLE #3 HAD EXTENSIVE FRONT END DAMAGE. VEHICLE #3 WAS OPERATIONAL AND DRIVER WAS TAKING IT TO A BODY SHOP. ALL PARTIES REPORTED NO INURIES. ALL PARTIES ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT

The owner of MV#1 had parked his vehicle at 10:03 in front of 1269 Centre St and returned to his vehicle at 12:00 to discover that it had been struck. Attached to the windshield of MV#1 was a handwritten note from a party that witnessed the accident. MV #1 sustained moderate damages to its front driver's side bumper. I spoke to the witness via telephone and he stated he was travelling southbound on Centre St directly behind MV#2 when he observed MV#2 sideswiped MV#1. The witness then observed the operator of MV#2 got out of his vehicle, looked at the damages to MV#1, retrieved a can of paint from a party standing on the sidewalk, got back into MV#2 and drove away. The witness stated MV#2 was a black colored "Dodge Ram" pick up truck bearing MA REG 2HLR81. The damages to MV#2 should be to its rear passenger side bumper. The witness described the operator of MV#2 as a white male in his 50's, 6' in height with a muscular build. A query of MV#2 showed that it is registered to a female party out of Weymouth MA. I attempted to contact the owner of MV#2 at phone #781 974-0307 and left a voicemail. I spoke to the Weymouth Police Dept and they will attempt to make contact with the owner of MV#2. I was able to speak to the owner of MV#2 and she stated her ex-boyfriend Richard Woodard has possession of MV#2 but does not speak to him often. She does not know Richard's personal information and provided me with his contact number of 617 631-0596. I spoke to Richard and he stated he was contacted by the owner of MV#2 and was already enroute to Police Headquarters. Richard arrived shortly after and he confirmed that he is the operator of MV#2 and was on Centre St retrieving paint earlier. Richard stated he was not aware he struck any other vehicles. I inspected MV#2 and did not observed any damages to its entire right side. I observed some minor scraping marks on the rear passenger side tire of MV#2. The rear passenger tire of MV#2 would be the most likely part of the vehicle that made contact with MV#1 and also consistent with the witness's statements. Based on the statements made to me by Richard and the fact that there were no visible damages to MV#2 besides its rear tire, it is possible that Richard was not aware he made contact with MV#1. All parties involved were provided with this accident report and advised to contact their insurance providers. There were no reported injuries to all parties involved. I will not pursue this matter further.

ON 12-23-20 AT APPROX. 1426HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR EHICLE ACIENT. UPON ARRIVL AT 1231 WASHINGTON I SPOKE TO THE COMPLAINANT ( MARK DONATO, 1231 WASHINGTON ST., NEWTON,MA. DOB: 9-5-57 ). COMP. WORKS FOR HERITAGE CORPORATION. HE SHOWED ME THE REAR LOT OF 1231 WASHINGTON ST. WHERE HE HAD A LARGE HEAVY DUMPTRUCK. BELOQW THE REAR OF THE TRUCK WAS GLASS AND DEBRIS FROM A PAST ACCIDENT. COMP. SHOWED ME VIDEO FOOTAGE FROM 11-30-20 AT 2150HRS. IN THE VIDEO I VIEWED AND SUV IN THE REAR LOT IDLEING. THE SUV ABRUPTLY BACKS IN TO THE PARKED DUMPTRUCK AND THEN QUICKLY SPEEDS AWAY. VEHILE #1 HAS NO VISIBLE DAMAGE. UNABLE TO ASSESS THE DAMAGE TO VEHICLE #2 ADVISED COMP. TO CONTACT HIS INSURANCE COMPANY.

On 12/3/2020 at 1400hrs I investigated a past motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. The crash occurred on 12/03/2020 at approximately 1240hrs. The crash was located in the area of 483 Centre St. Centre St is a public way in the city of Newton. Vehicle 1 was traveling southbound on Centre St near the area of 483 Centre St. Pedestrian 1 was located on the southbound side of Centre St near 483 Centre St. Pedestrian entered the southbound lane of Centre St and was struck by Vehicle 1. As a result of the impact Pedestrian 1 sustained a minor injury to his left leg. Vehicle 1 had no known damage. No parties were transported. No tow was required. It should be noted that the crash was reported by the Operator of Vehicle 1 Daniel Zandman at approximately 1400hrs. Zandman states that he was operating his Vehicle southbound on Centre St just after the intersection at Church St. Zandman states that Pedestrian 1 unexpectedly ran in front of his vehicle. Zandman stated that he did not have enough reaction time to come to a complete stop and his front bumper made contact with Pedestrian 1. Zandman stated that after impact he immediately got out of his vehicle and checked on Pedestrian 1. Zandman described pedestrian on as a 10 year old white male identified as Dexter Jagoditish. Zandman stated that while on scene Dexter called his mother Jess Jagoditish who immediately responded to the scene. Zandman stated that he exchanged information with Jess Jagoditish who then took Dexter home. Zandman states that a witness Mia Martin was also on scene. At approximately 1425hrs I called and spoke to Dexter and his mother Jess Jagoditish. Dexter states that he was walking on the sidewalk near 483 Centre St. Dexter states that he wanted to cross Centre St and thought there were no cars coming. Dexter stated that he entered the southbound lane of Centre St and a car came out of no where and hit him. I then spoke to Jess Jagoditish who is Dexter's mother. Jess stated that she received a call from Dexter around 1240hrs stating he was just hit by a car. Jess stated that when she arrived on scene Dexter was with Zandman and a witness Mia Martin. Jess stated that both Zandman and Martin explained them what had happened. Jess stated that Dexter appeared to be ok so she decided to take him home. Jess states that at this time Dexter has a bruise on his left calf but otherwise appears to be ok. At 1551hrs I spoke with the witness Mia Martin. Martin states that just prior to the crash she was walking her dog behind Dexter. Martin states that "out of nowhere" Dexter sprinted into the southbound lane of Centre St. Mia states that she then observed Vehicle 1 attempt to slow down and swerve to the lest to avoid Dexter. Mia states that the passenger side front bumper then made contact with Dexter. Mia states at impact Vehicle 1 was traveling at a very slow speed. Mia states that Dexter was then knocked on to the ground but then immediately jumped up and started to run away. Mia states that both she and Zandman were able to get Dexter to comeback so that they could check to see if he was ok. Mia states that Dexter was then able to contact his mom who responded on scene. Due to this crash being reported after the fact, Fire, EMS or Police where not initially notified and did not respond to the scene. Pictures were also not taken of the crash scene. At this time this report is for documentation purposes. After speaking with all the parties involved it appears that the crash was caused by Pedestrian 1 entering the roadway in a manner which gave Vehicle 1 little or no time to react.

The OP. of MV#1 states he was traveling northbound on Grove Street when MV#2 suddenly made a turn in front of him. He tried to swerve away but they still collided together. The OP. of MV#2 states she was traveling southbound on Grove Street and didn't see any oncoming traffic. She proceeded to make a left turn and then collided with MV#1.

On Friday, December 4, 2020 while assigned to Traffic unit N525, I responded to the area of 34 Etsy Farm Road, Newton for a report of a crash involving a City of Newton contracted Waste Management truck. Etsy Farm Road is a public way maintained by the City of Newton. The weather at the time of the crash was clear and sunny. The road surface was dry. I met with the operator of MV1, Cameron Jacques (S82958796). Jacques stated he was operating a 2014 Mack 600 (MA CON: R46465) southbound on Etsy Farm Road. Jacques stated there were two vehicles parked on opposite sides of the road as he was attempting to continue straight past both vehicles. The rear passenger side tire area of his vehicle made contact with the rear bumper area of the vehicle to his left (MV2). MV2 is a 2010 Lexus RX450 that was parked unoccupied facing northbound in the southbound lane across from 34 Etsy Farm Road. The rear bumper of MV2 was damaged and removed from the vehicle as a result of the crash. The registered owner of MV2, Pine Cone Construction, was advised. Jacques and his passenger Jose Lux de Leon reported no injuries. Photos were taken of the damage to both vehicles and submitted to the IT Bureau.

MV1 was traveling westbound on Washington Street. MV2 was traveling westbound on Washington Street and attempted to turn into MV1's lane. While doing so MV2 struck the front passenger side of MV1. There were no injuries and both parties exchanged information. The operator of MV1 wanted an accident report.

On Friday 12/4/2020 at approx 1612hrs I responded to the area of 447 Centre St in Newton for a 3 car MVA. Operator of MV1 states she was at a stop in traffic when MV2 hit her vehicle from behind. She said she was not injured. Operator of MV2 states that she was stopped in traffic when MV3 struck her vehicle from behind. The force of the collision caused her vehicle to collide into MV1. Operator of MV3 stated that he was travelling straight ahead when he saw MV2 at a stop. He said he "did not have enough time to stop."

On Friday 12/4/20 at approximately 1619 hours while working in marked cruiser n499 I was dispatched to the corner of Hartman Rd. and Jacobs Terrace for a report of a motor vehicle crash with no injuries. Upon arrival I spoke with the operator, (SOTIRIAD, Evie) of MV1 who stated she was leaving her house at 16 Sycamore Rd. and travelling eastbound on Hartman Rd. when MV2 entered her lane of travel from Jacobs Terrace striking her front drivers side. Operator(BOMBIG DESOUZA, Ana Paula) of MV2 stated she was driving eastbound from Jacobs Terrace onto Hartman Rd. and did not see MV1 causing her to strike the drivers side of MV1. BOMBIG DESOUZA stated that she is not from the area and there wasn't a stop sign at the end of Jacobs Terrace and she did not realize she was merging onto another Rd. After interviewing both operators I confirmed that there is not a stop sign at the end of Jacobs Terrace. Jacobs Terrace is a small cul-de-sac with only 3 or 4 houses and very little traffic. It is very plausible that BOMBIG DESOUZA did not realize she was merging onto Hartman Rd. The area where she entered Hartman Rd. is on a bend in the road with limited visibility.

VEHICLE OPERATOR WAS TRAVELING STRAIGHT AHEAD ON NAHANTON ST, HEADING WESTBOUND. HE STATES THAT HE WAS GOING THE LEGAL SPEED LIMIT. HE VEHICLE SKIDDED OUT OF HIS LANE, SIDESWIPED A TREE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ROAD. AND TOOK OUT A COUPLE SECTIONS OF FENCE AT THE CHARLES RIVER COUNTRY CLUB. NO INJURIES REPORTED, VEHICLE TOWED BY TODYS TOWING OF NEWTON CHARLES RIVER COUNTRY CLUB WAS NOTIFIED BY MYSELF VIA VOICEMAIL OF THE DAMAGE TO THEIR PROPERTY.

Vehicle 1 was traveling northbound on Dedham St, and slid off the road due to the snow. Vehicle 1 became lodged in between a fire hydrant, and rock wall in front of 658 Dedham St. There was moderate damage to the left and right front of the vehicle. No one was injured. Todys was able to remove the vehicle, and the operator drove it away from the scene. Pictures were taken of the fire hydrant and owners wall. There did not appear to be damage to the fire hydrant.

ON 12-7-20 AT APPROX. 1234HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE HIT AND RUN. UPON ARRIVAL AT 120 WARWICK RD. I SPOKE TO THE COMPLAINANT ( MARCELO CHAVES, DOB: 4-13-72 ). HE STATED THAT SOMETIME DURING THE NIGHT SOMEONE DAMAGED HIS WIFES MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE IT WAS PARKED IN FRONT OF 120 WARWICK RD. COMP. SHOWED ME MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LEFT REAR BUMPER OF HIS VEHICLE. BUMPER WAS SLIGHTLY DISLODGED WITH SCRATCHES. BY VIEWING THE DAMAGE I WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHICH DIRECTION THE OFFENDING VEHICLE WENT WHEN THE DAMAGE WAS CAUSED. COMP. REPORTS NO INJURY. WAS ADVISED TO CONTACT HIS INSURANCE COMPANY. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

State police was on scene first and called for a tow. Mv 1 stated she was stopped at the red light on washington st. MV 2 stated he was not paying attention to the flow of traffic and rear ended mv1. MV2 had air bag deployment. State had already called for a tow. Perfection towed mv2. All parties had no injuries.

On 12/08/20 at 08:42 hours, I responded to 26 Cummings Road for a city motor vehicle accident involving a parked unoccupied motor vehicle. Cummings Road is a public way maintained by the City of Newton. The weather at the time was approximately 30 degrees and very cloudy. On arrival, I spoke to the operator of M/V # 1 Alphonse Secinaro MA DL# S88518110 who works for the City of Newton Dept. of Public Works Yard out of 74 Elliot Street. Mr. Secinaro stated at the time he was sanding or cleaning up icy spots on the roadways. He was operating a 2012 International 7 Series color orange (MA Official Reg# M87605) with a plow attached to it. While driving northbound on Cummings Road between number 26 and 34, Secinaro attempted to maneuver his large plow truck between two parked motor vehicles on opposite sides of the roadway. While trying to do so, he struck parked M/V # 2 (14' Honda Pilot MA # 7RT637) on the driver's side rear parking light area. This caused the brake light cover to break and a small dent to the vehicle to the left of that brake cover. I observed M/V # 1 to be parked on the right side of 26 Cummings Road partially on the grass where there is no sidewalk. The other vehicle was parked a little more southbound on the opposite side of the roadway which made it very difficult for the large plow truck to navigate through. I observed no parking restrictions for both sides of the street. Digital photos were taken of the scene and submitted to the IT Bureau.

The operator of MV1 stated that she was stopped at the stop sign on Pleasant Street attempting to take a left turn onto Centre Street. MV1 was then rear ended by an unknown MV2. MV1 pulled over onto Centre Street and MV2 fled the scene. The operator of MV1 was uninjured but unable to get any description of MV2. MV1 sustained minor rear bumper damage.

On 12/8/20 I was working N492 when I responded to Crafts St. at Albermale Rd. for a report of a 2 car MVA with minor injuries. Upon arrival I spoke with the Operator of Veh 1 Megan Stekla. Stekla stated she was traveling Eastbound on Crafts St. when a Vehicle pulled out from Albermale Rd. to cross Crafts St. causing the car in front of her (Veh 2) to slam on the breaks, causing her to collide with Veh 2. I then spoke with the occupants of Veh 2 Brandon Alvarado and Sofia Alvarado. Brandon stated he was traveling Eastbound on Crafts St. when a vehicle attempted to cross over Crafts onto Albermale Rd. almost causing him to strike that vehicle. Brandon stated he slammed on his breaks to avoid the collision and was struck from behind by Veh 1. Sofia stated she had recently gotten a concussion and did not feel well. Fire and medics responded and Sofia was transported to NWH. The vehicles had minor damage and were able to be driven from the scene. Negative results on any description of the vehicle that cut across Crafts St. Both operators were provided a crash number.

On Wednesday 12/9/2020 at approx 0501hrs, while assigned to N491, I responded to the area of Centre St and Washington St for a 2 car MVA. Operator of MV1 states that he had just come off the pike and was going to work in Watertown. He said he was in the right lane prior to merging onto the Washington St bridge. Operator of MV2 states he was traveling NB in his lane when MV1 cut into his lane and hit his tow truck.

Operator of Motor Vehicle #1 stated she was traveling Westbound on California Street and had her right turn signal on to take a right turn into the parking lot of the American Legion Nonantum Post 440. Operator of Motor Vehicle # 1 stated while she was taking the right turn she was struck in the front right side of her vehicle from vehicle #2 who was traveling behind her causing moderate damage. Operator of Motor Vehicle #2 stated she was traveling Westbound on California Street and vehicle #1 had her left blinker on so she thought she was taking a left turn and drove around on the right side to continue Westbound on California Street. Operator of Motor Vehicle#2 stated motor vehicle #1 quickly made a right turn into the parking lot and she did not have time to brake and struck motor vehicle #1. Motor vehicle #2 sustained moderate front end damage.

On 12/09/2020 I responded to the area of 849 Beacon St for a motor vehicle crash involving a City of Newton owned motor vehicle. Beacon St is a public way in the City of Newton. Vehicle 1 was located across from 849 Beacon St in a parking stall located in the eastbound lane of Beacon St. Vehicle 2 a City of Newton owned motor vehicle was parked in a parking stall directly in front of Vehicle 1. Vehicle 1 then struck Vehicle 2 while attempting to pull into the eastbound travel lane. As a result of the impact Vehicle 1 sustained minor damage to the passenger side front bumper, Vehicle 2 sustained minor damage to the drivers side rear quarter panel. No injuries were reported on scene. No vehicle tows were required. Pictures were taken of the scene and submitted to the NPD IT Bureau.

The OP. of MV#1 states while traveling westbound on Washington Street, he struck a snow pile at the corner of Executive Park Drive and lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle then slid along the curb before coming to a stop. A patient refusal was signed with the Medics. MV1 was towed by Todys.

Motor vehicle 1 (MV1) was pulling out of the driveway of 248 Grove St. in an attempt to turn left and travel southbound on Grove St., when it failed to yield to motor vehicle 2 (MV2), which was already traveling southbound on Grove St. MV1 then crashed into MV2, causing MV2 to go up over the curb, and come to rest on the sidewalk. As a result of the crash, MV1 sustained moderate front end damage, while MV2 sustained moderate drivers side damage.
