Kenneth Morse stated that on 09/13/2020 at 11:35 hours he was riding his bike south bound on Eddy St and then turned eastbound on to Albemarle Rd . Albemarle Rd is a pubic way in the City of Newton that is one way. Morse stated that as he turned onto Abermarle Rd he observed vehicle one parked facing east bound in front of 478 Abermarle Rd. Morse also stated that vehicle two was slowing down in front of 478 Abermarle Rd facing east bound. Morse stated that he had intended to ride his bike in between the vehicles. Morse stated that as he rode his bike pass vehicle one , it's front driver's side door opened. Morse stated that he crashed into the open front driver's side door of vehicle one and the impact caused him to lose control of his bike. Morse stated that after he had lost control of his bike he crashed into the rear quarter panel of vehicle two. Michael Thomas operator of vehicle two stated that he was slowing down in front of 478 Albermarle Rd to look at his childhood home when Morse crashed into the rear quarter panel of his vehicle, causing damage. Operator of vehicle one Larissa Pazmino stated that she opened the front driver side door of her vehicle and did not see Morse prior to opening the door. Morse transported himself to NWH where he was treated for a broken collar bone. Pazmino was cited ( MA T2016094 ) for MGL 90/14 , opening a door near bicyclist.

On 10/3/2020, I responded to 159a Charlesbank Rd. for a past motor vehicle hit and run. Upon arrival, I spoke with the registered owner of MV#1 whom stated, her vehicle had been parked in the driveway of 159 Charlesbank Rd. from 9/27/2020 through 9/30/2020. On 9/30/2020 she noticed damage to the front driver side bumper, damage to driver side door and a scratch on driver side front end. Several home health aides rotate taking care of the homeowner of 159 Charlesbank Rd, one in particular was working during the day on 9/30/2020. I have made a concerted effort to obtain such individual's name and phone number, however I still do not have that information at this time. No witness's or surveillance cameras in the area of 159 Charlesbank Rd.

On Tuesday, October 13, 2020 while assigned to Traffic unit N525, I responded to 18 Station Avenue, Newton for a 2 car motor vehicle crash. The weather at the time of the crash was rain. The road surface on Station Avenue was wet. Station Avenue is a public way maintained by the City of Newton. I spoke with the operator of MV1, Mr. Derrick Sobers (S31986103). Mr. Sobers stated he was operating a 2019 Freight MT45 box truck (MA CON: T93974) on Station Avenue (N). The vehicle is owned by Crown Linen Service Inc. Mr. Sobers stated he was pulling off of the roadway to the right in front of 18 Station Avenue when the rear passenger side area of his vehicle crashed into the front driver side of a parked 2020 Toyota Rav 4 (MA: 6RS841). This vehicle was parked unoccupied in a metered parking spot on the roadway. I observed minor damage to the rear passenger side of MV1 and minor damage to the front driver side/front driver wheel area of MV2. No injuries were reported.

ON 10-17-20 AT APPROX. 1504HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT 351 AUBURN ST. I SPOKE TO THE OWNER OF VEHICLE #1. OWNER STATES HE WAS IN THE CONVENIENCE STORE AT 351 AUBURN ST. WHEN HE WAS TOLD VEHICLE #2 HAD JUST HIT HIS VEHICLE WHILE IT WAS PARKED ACROSS THE STREET FROM 351 AUBURN ST. OWNER STATES VEHICLE #2 WAS BACKING OUT OF THE PARKING STALL AT 351 AUBURN ST. HIT HIS VEHICLE AND DROVE AWAY. OWNER WHISTLED TO VEHICLE #2 AND HE RETURNED TO THE SCENE. DRIVER OF VEHICLE #2 STATED HE WAS BACKING OUT OF THE PARKING STALL IN FRONT OF 351 AUBURN ST. HE INTENDED TO TRAVEL W-BOUND ON AUBURN ST. HE STATES A VEHICLE TRAVELING WEST ON AUBURN HAD STOPPED ABRUPTLY WHILE HE WAS BACKING AND HE WAS UNABLE TO MANEUVER HIS VEHICLE TO TRAVEL WEST SO HE CHOSE INSTEAD TO TRAVEL EAST. WHILE BACKING, HIS VEHICLES REAR RIGHT BUMPER HAD HIT VEHICLE #1 FRONT LEFT SIDE QTR. PANEL CAUSING DAMAGE. DRIVER OF VEHICLE #2 STATES HE NEVER FELT THE CRASH AND THE VEHICLE SENSORS NEVER SOUNDED. VEHICLE #1 HAD LEFT FT. QTR. PANEL DAMAGE. VEHICLE #2 HAD RIGHT REAR BUMPER DAMAGE. ALL PARTIES REPORTED NO INJURIES. ALL PARTIES ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

Operator of vehicle number 1 stated when he exited his vehicle he realized it was not in park, at which time the vehicle rolled approximately 8 feet into N491 while Officer McCarthy was typing a report. The operator of vehicle number 2 stated he was parked typing a report when vehicle number 1 struck the rear of his cruiser. vehicle number 1 sustained minor front end damage vehicle number 2 sustained moderate damage to the rear bumper Officer Walsh took several pics of the damage. Officer McCarthy was transported by the medics to NWH for further treatment due to back and neck pain.

Operator of Motor Vehicle # 1 stated that she stopped at the green light on Washington Street (Eastbound ) waiting to take a left turn onto Beacon Street to gain access to the facility of CareOne at Newton. Operator stated she looked and was able to turn left and was halfway into the intersection when a jeep wrangler came out of nowhere driving fast causing her to make impact with vehicle #2. Passenger of Motor Vehicle # 1 stated that they had a green light and were stopped at the intersection of Washington Street and Beacon Street traveling Eastbound attempting to turn left onto Beacon Street. Passenger of Motor Vehicle # 1 stated that they started turning left because they had a clear path becasue a box truck was allowing them to turn and a jeep came out of nowhere which caused them to make impact with vehicle #2. Operator of Motor Vehicle # 2 stated that he was traveling Westbound on Washington Street and he had a green light at the intersection of Beacon Street and Washington Street. Operator of motor vehicle #2 stated he switched lanes to pass the box truck in front of him and he didn't see motor vehicle #1 attempting to take a left turn on to Beacon Street. Operator of Motor Vehicle #2 stated that he sped up to avoid impact with motor vehicle number #1however was unable to avoid impact. Motor vehicle #1 turned right into his drivers side door. Motor vehicle #1 sustained major front end damage and motor vehicle #2 sustained major damage throughout the entire vehicle. Both vehicles were towed by Tody's Towing. Operator and Passenger of Motor Vehicle #1 were transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital with no apparant injuries but for protocal and Operator of Motor Vehicle #2 was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital with possibly moderate injuries. Several photographs were were taken of the scene and S.D. card was placed in the I.T Bureau.

Operator of vehicle #1 was travelling Eastbound on Derby St. when vehicle #2 took a right turn from Sheridan St. onto Derby St. and struck vehicle #1. Operator of #2 stated he was travelling Northbound on Sheridan and did not see vehicle #1 as he took a right turn onto Derby St. colliding with vehicle #1. Operator of vehicle #1 was cited for unlicensed operation.

On 10/22/20, while assigned to N499, I, Officer Conary, responded to 80 Redwood Road, for a report of a single vehicle accident into a tree. Upon arrival, I met with the Operator of MV's husband who was standing by at the car. Operator of MV1 walked home to contact her insurance company but she was on her way back to the accident. Operator of MV1 explained to me that she was traveling Northbound on Redwood Road to her house when she was adjusting the air conditioner. She stated she looked down twice to adjust it and then she hit the tree. Operator of MV1 declined medical attention. MV1 had heavy front end damage and was towed by Tody's. There was minor damage to the City of Newton tree. Pictures were taken and submitted to IT accordingly. City of Newton DPW was notified of the debris in the road and sidewalk.

The operator of MV#1 stated she was parked in front of 1664 Centre St arranging packages inside the cargo area of her van (Amazon delivery van) when her vehicle was struck by MV#2 causing her to fall inside the cargo area. The operator of MV#1 stated she was shaken up but was not injured. Newton Paramedics along with Newton Fire evaluated her and she signed a refusal of treatment. MV#1 sustained moderate damages to its driver's side door. The operator of MV#2 stated she was reversing out of her driveway (1665 Centre St) and did not see MV#1 parked there when she struck it. MV#2 sustained moderate damages to its passenger side rear bumper. The operator of MV#1 along with its front passenger were evaluated by Newton Paramedics and Newton Fire and both signed a refusal of treatment.

Operator of vehicle #1 was travelling West bound on Washington St. and was stopped in traffic for the red light at washington St. at Walnut. Operator of vehicle #1 stated vehicle #2 struck Vehicle #1 from behind. Operator of Vehicle #2 stated she was travelling West bound on Washington St. and did not sse that traffic had stopped in front of her. Vehicle #2 then collided with vehicle #1.

On Tuesday, October 27th 2020 at 18:40 hours, Myself N-499 and Ofc Crowe N498 responded to 546 Parker St for a single vehicle accident into a city tree. Upon arrival, I identified Mass Reg # 3GDM90, 2015 LEXS RX350, Color Gray had crashed into a City Tree. The airbags had not been deployed. The operator was no longer in the vehicle upon my arrival. He was identified as registered owner Brian Mcneill. Mcneill admitted he had operated the vehicle. Mcneill stated he was driving North on Parker St toward RT 9 headed home to Wellesley. Mcneill stated he was on his phone texting and lost sight of the road. Mcneill's vehicle veered off the side of the road and side swiped a City of Newton Tree causing heavy right side damage and loss of the front right tire. Mcneill's wife came to the scene to pick him up and drive him home. The set of golf clubs in the trunk of the vehicle was documented in the MV Inventory Crash Form. Mcneill suffered no injuries and signed a patient refusal with the medics. Tody's towed the vehicle. Mcneill was given MA Uniform Citation # T2013042 for the amount of $ 210 for M.G.L Ch 89/S4A Marked Lanes Violation and M.G.L Ch. 90/S13B Texting While Driving Violation. Pictures were taken of the accident and submitted to Newton IT Bureau.

On Thursday 10/29/20 at approximately 0541 hours while assigned to marked unit n499 I was dispatched to the area of 130 Vine Street for a report of a single vehicle roll-over crash. Upon arrival myself and n496(Ofc. Howes) observed a white SUV on its roof facing westbound in the eastbound lane of Vine Street (a public way owned, operated and maintained by the City of Newton). Upon our arrival Newton Firefighters had extracated the operator, (FOSTER Isabelle), who was sitting on a large rock in the front yard of 130 Vine Street. FOSTER was visibly upset, but didnt appear to have any major injuries. I asked FOSTER what happened and she stated she was travelling from Westgate Rd in Boston on her way home to Wellesley. She took a right turn onto Vine Street from LaGrange Street and began travelling westbound. FOSTER stated that she was travelling too fast and didnt realize how the road curved causing her to veer off the road and strike a large tree in the front of 130 Vine Street. FOSTER was travelling at a speed fast enough to cause the vehicle to flip onto its roof in the opposite lane of traffic. FOSTER admitted to me she was travelling too fast on the road. Vine street is a winding road that is not very well lit. Speed limit on the road is 20mph and its estimated FOSTER was travelling at least 30-45mph. The speed coupled with FOSTER's lack of familiarity with the area and her inexperience driving were all contributing factors to the crash. FOSTER was issued Massachusetts Uniform Citation T2012909 with the following civil motor vehicle infractions; C90 s18 SPEEDING (Posted) C89 s4a Marked Lanes Violation. FOSTER was transported to Beth Israel hospital by the medics and I was unable to issue the citation in hand at the time of the crash. Due to FOSTER's age (17) I also wanted to notify her parents and meet with them and FOSTER upon her release from the hospital. At approximately 1700 Hours I met with Scott Foster(Father) in person, Jodi Foster (Mother) and Isabelle foster via cell phone (speaker phone). I discussed the charges with all parties and explained the citation to Isabelle. Citation was given in hand to her father, Scott Foster and brough the citation to Isabelle.

The operator of veh #1 stated she was driving due South down Boulder Rd when she struck Eversource Pole #1107/6. The operator was unharmed but the vehicle sustained heavy front end damage and was towed by Tody's towing. Eversource responded to asses their pole.

The operator of MV1 stated that she was traveling north bound in the left hand turn lane on Walnut street in front of the Mobile station. Operator had to stop short because she did not think she could make it through the yellow light causing MV2 to rear end her vehicle. The operator of MV2 stated that MV1 stopped short not giving them enough time to stop, subsequently causing MV2 to rear end MV1. There was no damage to MV2 and insignificant damage to the rear bumper of MV1. Neither operator was injured and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

The operator of MV1 states he was traveling southbound in the rear parking lot of 229 Walnut Street. The operator was pulling forward into a parking space when the operator of MV2 began to reverse and backed into MV1. The operator of MV2 states he was plowing the parking lot. The operator of MV2 was then reversing and either did not look or did not see MV1 pulling into the parking space. At this time MV2 backed into MV1. No injuries reported.

MV1 was pulling out of the trader joe's parking lot. MV2 was backing out of the parking lot across the street from the trader joe's parking lot. MV1 began to turn left traveling towards Washington Street. MV1 did not notice MV2 backing out of the parking lot across the street. The rear fender of MV2 was damaged. There was no visible damage to MV1. There were no injuries. Both vehicles drove away from the scene.

Operator of MV1 was parked in a parking space next to MV2 which was unoccupied. While backing out of the parking spot, the drivers side mirror of MV1 struck the drivers side mirror of MV2. There was damage to the glass mirror of MV2. No injuries or tows were needed.

Bike was traveling east on Beacon St with the right of way. MV#1 was traveling west on Beacon St, and turning left onto Upland Rd. As the bike was traveling east past Upland Rd, MV#1 took a left onto Upland Rd in front of the bike. this caused the bike to crash into MV#1. Operator of the bike sustained injuries, and was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital. Operator of MV#1 sustained no injuries and signed a patient refusal. Pictures were taken and submitted to IT to be attached to this report.

MV1, operator:Oscar Benavidez was driving Eastbound on Beacon St and was attempting to turn right on to Chestnut St when he struck a bicyclist. MV1 stated "He was moving to the right side of the roadway to go around a vehicle that was making a left turn at Beacon and Chestnut. He didn't see a bicylist and heard something hit his car and that's when he stopped and observed a bicyclist on the ground". The bicyclist Jeffery Glassman complained about his right side being sore, but had no other visible injuries. He stated "he was riding his bike on Beacon St and about to be entering the intersection at Beacon and Chestnut when a vehicle pulled to the right and hit him" He signed the refusal on scene with EMS. No damage was done to MV1. Corrina Mieth witnessed the accident and stated "She observed the vehicle move over to the right side of the road and that's when the vehicle collided with the bicyclist". Pictures were taken of the scene.

On November 6th, 2020 at approximately 14:20 hours while assigned to N491 I responded to Centre St on the bridge over the Mass pike N/B for a report of a multiple MV crash with possible injuries. On my arrival to the scene I observed vehicle #1, a grey Honda civic, ma reg. rs794x resting half on the sidewalk the other half crushed into the rear passenger side of vehicle #2. I was then informed there were two additional vehicles involved. Vehicle #1 apparently first crashed into vehicle #2 after abruptly changing lanes into the lane MV#2 was stopped in. This set of a chain reaction in which MV #2 to was forced into the rear of vehicle(#3) which then forced vehicle #3 into the vehicle(#4). Vehicles 2 thru 4 were all stopped due to the signal light being red at the time of the crash. I located the operator to vehicle #1 sitting on the sidewalk bleeding from several areas to his face which he sustained from the crash. He was identified as Terrence Donnelly. He reported driving N/B over the Centre St Bridge and was changing lanes when he realized the traffic was stopped in that lane. He attempted to avoid hitting the vehicle(#2) now in front of him, by swerving to the right to go onto the sidewalk but he still slammed half his vehicle into the rear passenger side of vehicle #2. I spoke with the operator to vehicle #2 identified as Linda Borque. She stated she was stopped on the bridge N/B near the off ramp to the mass pike(exit17 W/B) when she was rear ended by vehicle #1. The impact forced her M/V into the vehicle stopped in front of her(#3). Operator to vehicle #3 was identified as Sylvie Miskovitch. She stated she was also stopped on the bridge N/B for the signal light when she was rear ended by vehicle #2 which forced her vehicle into the vehicle stopped in front of her(#4). Operator of vehicle #4 was identified as Ronise Dorce. She stated she was stopped on the bridge N/B just at the exit to the Mass pike W/B when she was rear ended by vehicle #3. All drivers sustained minor injuries and all declined to go to the hospital. Patient refusal forms were signed by all parties. Vehicle # 1 was the only MV towed from the scene by Todys.

MV1 stated she was turning left onto JFK Cir and "did not see" the 2 pedestrians subsequently striking them. I observed MV1 to be about 2-3 feet from the sidewalk on the left which showed she was driving on the wrong side of the road. When I brought this to the operators attention she stated "no one was coming." Operator reported no injuries or damage to the vehicle. Citation # T2012942 issued for marked lanes. The pedestrians, Luda & Andrei Manea stated they were crossing JFK Cir when they were struck by MV1. Luda sustained a laceration to her face and was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital for a further evaluation. Andrei complained of pain to his left side, declined to be evaluated on scene, however was transported to NWH with his wife via Cataldo Ambulance. Digital images of the scene, (after MV1 had to move out of the way) were captured and turned over to the IT Bureau. It should be noted that this intersection is rather dark & Luda was wearing a dark blue shirt & Andrei was wearing a white shirt.

MV1 was heading southbound coming from Centre Street. MV1 stated that he had the green light and began entering into the intersection heading towards the on-ramp of the Massachusetts Turnpike. MV2 stated that she was getting off the exit ramp of the Massachusetts Turnpike and had a yellow light heading westbound on Washington Street. MV2 drove through the yellow light trying to beat the light. MV2 struck into the drivers side of MV1. There was damage to the driver side door, and rear driver side door of MV1. There was damage to the front left bumper and front center bumper to MV2. There were no injuries from either party invovled. Both vehicles drove away from the scene.

Operator of Motor Vehicle #1 stated she was driving Northbound on Judith Road and was slowing down to stop at the end of the road to take a left (Eastbound) onto Brentwood Street. Operator of Motor Vehicle #1 stated that Motor Vehicle #2 was driving Eastbound on Brentwood Avenue and took a left onto Judith Road and drove right into the front of her vehicle. Operator of Motor Vehicle # 1 stated that Motor Vehicle #2 turned into her lane of travel. Operator of Motor Vehicle # 2 stated she was driving Eastbound on Brentwood Avenue and was turning onto Judith Road and Motor Vehicle #1 came out of nowhere and struck her vehicle. Motor Vehicle #1 and Motor Vehicle # 2 sustained moderate front end damage. there were no injuries due to this accident and neither vehicle was towed.

On Wednesday, November 11th at approximately 1730 hours, I, Officer Newton responded to the front desk for a report of a hit and run. Jonathan Bolivar stated that his truck (MV 1) was parked in the parking lot at National Lumber, located at 15 Needham St, today while he was at work. When he left work, at approximately 1700 hours, he went to his truck and there was a note on his windshield that stated somebody saw a vehicle bearing MA Reg CC4253 hit his vehicle and leave. The note did not specify how the vehicle was hit or any information on who left the note. Jonathan showed me scratching on the front passenger door of his truck. Attempts to reach the owner of MV 2 were unsuccessful. Traffic Bureau update (Officer Gaudet): On Wednesday, November 18, 2020, I attempted to make contact with the registered owner of MV2 (Myron Cohen - S78663105), with a negative result. A Hit and Run inquiry was mailed to Mr. Cohen's address.

On 11/11/2020 I, Officer Mildner, was dispatched to 48 Windermere Rd. for a report of Gas Lamp being struck by a single MV. Operator of MV1 stated that he was traveling Northbound on Windermere Rd when he took a left and pulled into the driveway of 47 Windermere Rd. in an attempt to back out and turn around. Operator of MV1 stated that as he was backing out Eastbound, he hit a pole containing a gas lamp at the top, right in front of 48 Windermere Rd. Witness 1 stated he saw Operator of MV1 pull into the driveway of 47 Windermere and back out directly into a pole containing a gas lamp at the top. There were no injuries. No damage to MV1. There was minor damage to the light pole and gas lamp. Fire was successful in turning off the gas. Pictures were taken and submitted to the IT Bureau.

ON 11-14-20 AT APPROX. 1208HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT 306 WALNUT ST. I SPOKE TO THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE #1. DRIVER STATES HE WAS TRAVELING N-BOUND ON WALNUT ST. HE STATES VEHICLE #2 STOPPED ABRUPTLY TO LET SOMEONE BACK INTO A PARKING SPOT AND HE WAS UNABLE TO AVOID HITTING HER. VEHICLE #2 STATES SHE WAS TRAVELING N-BOUND ON WALNUT ST. AND HAD STOPPED TO LET SOMEONE INTO A PARKING SPOT. WHILE STOPPED SHE WAS HIT FROM BEHIND BY VEHICLE #1. VEHICLE #1 HAD NO VISIBLE DAMAGE. VEHICLE #2 HAD MINOR REAR BUMPER DAMAGE. ALL PARTIES REPORTED NO INJURIES. ALL PARTIES ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. PICTURES WERE TAKEN AND PLACED INTO I.T. BOX. ALL VEHICLES WERE OPERATIONAL AND DID NOT REQUIRE A TOW. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

OPERATOR OF VEHICLE ONE STATED THAT HE WAS DRIVING SOUTHBOUND ON WASHINGTON ST WHEN HE REACHED TO PICK UP AN ITEM ON HIS PASSENGERS SEAT. WHEN HE LOOKED UP HIT A VERIZON POLE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. VEHICLE SUSTAINED HEAVY FRONT END DAMAGE AND HAD TO BE TOWED BY TODYS. OPERATOR TOOK ALL ITEMS THAT HE NEEDED FROM THE VEHICLE. MEDICS RESPONDED AND THE OPERATOR SIGNED A PATIENT REFUSAL.

On 11/11/20 at approximately 0710 hours, I responded to the intersection at Commonwealth Ave and Lexington St for a two vehicle accident. Operator 1 stated that he was stopped at traffic light and felt a large hit from the rear of his vehicle. His vehicle had minor damage and reported no injuries. Operator 2 stated that he was reaching to turn off his GPS and had rear ended the vehicle in front of him. His vehicle had major damage and was towed by Triple A. Hed reported no injuries.

On Wednesday, November 18th 2020, at approximately 3:40pm, I, Officer Brooks, responded to 624 Washington street, the Santander Bank, for an MVA in the parking lot. Upon my arrival I spoke with the operator of MV1 (MA reg 668EH9), who stated she was backing out of a parking space when she struck MV2(MA reg 27247 ) in the rear end. There was no visible accident damage to MV1. I spoke with the operator of MV2 who stated she was parked when her vehicle was backed into. The contact was to the rear of the vehicle, but the operator stated her car was now making noises and would not drive. I observed the front drivers side tire to be crooked from damage under the vehicle. The entire vehicle was covered in scratches and nothing distinguishable from an accident. The operator of MV2 stated her vehicle was struck hard, so I offered her medical attention which she declined. She contacted AAA to remove her vehicle. Both operators were provided this report number.

Operator of vehicle one was stopped at the stop sign on border St at Elm St waiting to turn left onto Elm. Operator turned left onto Elm St and drove right into the rear of vehicle 2 which was legally parked on Elm St. Operator of vehicle 1 stated the heavy rain made it difficult to see. Vehicle 1 was towed from the scene by todys due to heavy front end damage. Vehicle 2 did not require a tow. Neither operator reported any injuries.

Operator 1 states he was traveling Northbound on Hammond St passing Hammondswood Rd. when vehicle 2 pulled out of Hammondswood Rd and struck vehicle 2 on the driver side rear door. Operator 2 stated that he stopped at the stop sign on Hammondswood Rd @ Hammond St. He thought vehicle 1 had a stop sign and that it was a four way stop. Vehicle 1 pulled into the intersection where he struck vehicle 2.

On Wednesday November 25, 2020 at approximately 1029 hours I responded to 88 Central Ave for a MVA hit and run reported by Detail Officer T. McCarthy. MV1 operator was located in their driveway at their address. MV1 operator stated she attempted to back out of 88 Central Ave and did not realize she struck MV2, which was parked in front of 83 Central Ave. Central Ave is a public way. There was no reported injury at this time. Minor damage was done to both MVs, but no tow required. MV1 sustained rear right brake light damage ( broken) and paint transfer. MV2 sustained front left bumper damage and paint transfer. MV1 operator stated she did not have license at this time. MV1 operator driver status was confirmed suspended by Newton Dispatch. Please see incident report #20059699. Photos were forwarded to I.T. Bureau.

Operator 1 stated that he was parked in a designated parking space in the lot of 259 Centre street when he viewed mv#2 backing up and getting close to mv#1. Operator #1 stated that he beeped his horn to alert mv#2. Mv#2 then struck the front passenger side of mv#1. Operator of mv#2 stated that he was backing up and did not realize that mv#1 was still parked there, he had believed the vehicle had moved. Mv#2 struck mV#1 with the rear of the passenger side. No injuries. Minor damage and paint transfer. All vehicle could be driven from the scene. Photos taken.

The operator of vehicle 1 stated that he was traveling East on Nahanton Street passing through the intersection at Wells Ave, when vehicle 2 took a left in font of him and he crashed into the passenger side front and rear doors of vehicle 2. This caused major damage to both vehicles. The operator of vehicle 2 stated she was turning left from Nahanton Street onto Wells Ave and thought she had enough time to make the turn when vehicle 1 crashed into her. Both involved parties signed medical refusals. Both vehicles were towed by Todys.

Operator of vehicle one Timothy Trencher stated that on 12/01/2020 at 08:36 hours he was driving his vehicle a 2010 Toyota Prius east bound on Linwood Ave near Walnut St. Linwood Ave and Walnut St are public ways in the City of Newton. Techler stated that he came to a stop at the stop sign at Walnut St and then turned left into the north bound lane of Walnut St. Techler stated that he did not see any on coming traffic , bicyclist or pedestrians in the roadway before he turned into the north bound lane of Walnut St. Techler stated that his vehicle's front bumper made contact with a bicycle ridden by Nicolas Le ( DOB 04/05/2006 ) . Techler stated that he was not injured and his vehicle did not require a tow. Le stated that he is a student at Newton North High School and was riding his bike a Giant mountain bike to school. Le stated that he was stopped on his bike on the northeast corner of the intersection of Linwood Ave and Walnut St. Le stated that he saw a pedestrian latter identified as Jason Kaufman walking west bound in the crosswalk from the east side of Walnut St to the west side of Walnut St. Le stated that as Kaufman was crossing over Walnut St he assumed that it was clear to cross over Walnut St while riding his bike. Le stated that he was unsure if the yellow flashing crosswalk lights were activated. Le stated that he rode his bike off of the side walk at the northeast corner of Walnut St at Linwood Ave. Le stated that he did not ride his bike in the marked crosswalk that run from east to west over Walnut St at Linwood Ave. Le stated he rode his bike diagonally into the intersection towards the south west corner of the intersection. Le stated that he did not see Techler's vehicle prior to entering the intersection. It should be noted that at the time of the crash Le was wearing earphones and stated the he was listening to music. Le stated that he was not injured in the crash and signed a patient refusal from in the presence of his father Thanh Le who responded to the crash scene. Le's bike had damage to the front tire and front breaks. Based upon statments made to me by Le, Techler and my observations of the crash area, I believe that they both bear responsibility for the cause of the crash. Le was not in a marked crosswalk and was not sure if the flashing yellow crosswalk lights were activated. Le also was listening to earphones while crossing diagonally into the intersection. I issued Techler MA Unifrom Citation T2015904 and cited him for a violation of MGL 90/14 , failure to yield to a bicyclist while turing left.

OPER OF MV#1 STATED THAT HE WAS TRAVELLING ON MILL STREET (EB AT #122), AND THAT WHEN HE LOOKED AT HIS GPS FOR A SECOND, HE COLLIDED INTO A TREE. OPER WAS NOT INJURED. MV SUSTAINED HEAVY FRONT END DAMAGE AND WAS TOWED.

ON 12-2-20 AT APPROX. 0902HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE HIT AND RUN. UPON ARRIVAL AT 1250 WASHINGTON ST. I SPOKE TO THE OWNER OF VEHICLE #1. OWNER STATES HE WAS IN THE DUNKIN DONUTS AT 1250 WASHINGTON ST. HE STATES A FELLOW PATRON CAME IN AND STATED THE OWNERS CAR HAD BEEN HIT BY ANOTHER VEHICLE BACKING IN THE LOT. OWNER STATES AS HE CAME OUT THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVING AWAY AND HE WAS ABLE TO GET THE PLATE NUMBER ( MA REG : 5945YE ). VEHICLE #1 HAD A LEFT REAR BUMPER DENT.OWNER REPORTED NO INJURY. OWNER ADVISED TO CONTACT HIS INSURANCE COMPANY. A REGISTRY CHECK OF THE PLATE OF THE VEHICLE THAT LEFT THE SCENE CAME BACK AS THE OWNER BEING ( AUTOMATIC LAUNDRY COMPANY, 45 BORDER ST., NEWTON, MA. ). I WENT OVER TO 45 BORDER AND SPOKE TO ( SCOTT SCARPATO , 45 BORDER ST., NEWTON, MA. DOB: 1-22 -91). HE STATED THAT THEY DO OWN THE VEHICLE. HE BELIEVES IT WAS DRIVEN BY HIS GRANDFATHER ( SALVATORE SCARPATO ). HE STATED HIS GRANDFATHER IS ELDERLY AND PROBABLY DID NOT REALIZE HE HIT THE VEHICLE. HE STATED HE WOULD CONTACT HIS GRANDFATHER. HE FURTHER STATED THE COMPANY WILL PAY FOR ANY DAMAGES. I WAS UNABLE TO CONTACT SALVATORE SCARPATO AT THE TIME OF THIS REPORT. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

The OP. of MV#1 states he was traveling northbound on Grove Street when MV#2 suddenly made a turn in front of him. He tried to swerve away but they still collided together. The OP. of MV#2 states she was traveling southbound on Grove Street and didn't see any oncoming traffic. She proceeded to make a left turn and then collided with MV#1.

MV1 stated they were heading Southbound on Melrose St. and crossing through the intersection of Commonwealth Ave where they had the green light. MV1 stated they saw MV2 running the red light and driving towards their vehicle. MV1 stated MV2 hit them and suffered minor damage to their front left bumper. MV2 stated they were heading Westbound on Commonwealth Ave towards the intersection of Melrose St. MV2 stated they don't recall what color the light was and proceeded through the intersection. MV2 stated they hit MV1 and suffered minor damage to their front right bumper. There were no injuries. Both vehicles were able to succesfully be driven away. Operator of MV2 was issued Citation #T2014417 (Mgl 89/9: Fail to stop at red light)

On Friday, December 4, 2020 while assigned to Traffic unit N525, I responded to the area of 34 Etsy Farm Road, Newton for a report of a crash involving a City of Newton contracted Waste Management truck. Etsy Farm Road is a public way maintained by the City of Newton. The weather at the time of the crash was clear and sunny. The road surface was dry. I met with the operator of MV1, Cameron Jacques (S82958796). Jacques stated he was operating a 2014 Mack 600 (MA CON: R46465) southbound on Etsy Farm Road. Jacques stated there were two vehicles parked on opposite sides of the road as he was attempting to continue straight past both vehicles. The rear passenger side tire area of his vehicle made contact with the rear bumper area of the vehicle to his left (MV2). MV2 is a 2010 Lexus RX450 that was parked unoccupied facing northbound in the southbound lane across from 34 Etsy Farm Road. The rear bumper of MV2 was damaged and removed from the vehicle as a result of the crash. The registered owner of MV2, Pine Cone Construction, was advised. Jacques and his passenger Jose Lux de Leon reported no injuries. Photos were taken of the damage to both vehicles and submitted to the IT Bureau.

State police was on scene first and called for a tow. Mv 1 stated she was stopped at the red light on washington st. MV 2 stated he was not paying attention to the flow of traffic and rear ended mv1. MV2 had air bag deployment. State had already called for a tow. Perfection towed mv2. All parties had no injuries.

Operator of Motor Vehicle #1 stated she was traveling Westbound on California Street and had her right turn signal on to take a right turn into the parking lot of the American Legion Nonantum Post 440. Operator of Motor Vehicle # 1 stated while she was taking the right turn she was struck in the front right side of her vehicle from vehicle #2 who was traveling behind her causing moderate damage. Operator of Motor Vehicle #2 stated she was traveling Westbound on California Street and vehicle #1 had her left blinker on so she thought she was taking a left turn and drove around on the right side to continue Westbound on California Street. Operator of Motor Vehicle#2 stated motor vehicle #1 quickly made a right turn into the parking lot and she did not have time to brake and struck motor vehicle #1. Motor vehicle #2 sustained moderate front end damage.

Motor vehicle 1 (MV1) was pulling out of the driveway of 248 Grove St. in an attempt to turn left and travel southbound on Grove St., when it failed to yield to motor vehicle 2 (MV2), which was already traveling southbound on Grove St. MV1 then crashed into MV2, causing MV2 to go up over the curb, and come to rest on the sidewalk. As a result of the crash, MV1 sustained moderate front end damage, while MV2 sustained moderate drivers side damage.

MV1 struck MV2, the side of 44 Harrington St, and a shed. The owner of MV2 further stated that they observed the owner of MV1 was in the passanger seat of MV1 and identified the operator as "Bob." "Bob" stated he had to get to an appointment and fled the scene. MV2 sustained minor damage and the homeowner was notified of the damage to his residence. (See report #20055388 for more info). I contacted the owner of MV1 who stated he was at the Brigham & Womens Hospital in Boston. The owner stated that his home health care aid "Joe" was operating the vehicle and when he returned home he would call with all of "Joe's" information. The owner of the vehicle further stated that he is paralyzed and cannot drive. This report has been forwarded to the Traffic Bureau for further investigation.

ON 12-11-20 AT APPROX. 1250HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE HIT AND RUN. UPON ARRIVAL I SPOKE TO ( MARINA BARAKNOVA ). SHE STATES SHE WAS GETTING HER SON FROM SCHOOL AT LINCOLN-ELIOT. AS SHE WAS WALKING BACK TO HER HUSBANDS CAR ( VEHICLE #1 ) SHE SAW VEHICLE #2 BACK INTO IT AND LIGHTLY TAP IT. SHE TOOK A PICTURE OF VEHICLE #2 PLATE AS HE DROVE AWAY. I WAS ABLE TO CONTACT THE OWNER OF VEHICLE #2 AT 13 CRAFT ST. HE STATED HE WAS GETTING HIS GRANDSON FROM SCHOOL. HE STATED HE BACKED BUT DOES NOT RECALL HITTING ANY VEHICLE. HE STATES HE BACKED VERY SAFELY AND HAS A REAR VIDEO CAMERA AS WELL AS A DISTANCE ALARM. BOTH VEHICLES HAD NO VISIBLE DAMAGE. BOTH PARTIES REPORT NO INJURIES. ALL PARTIES WERE ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

The operator of MV#1 stated she was stationary at 430 Centre St attempting to make a right turn onto Washington St when she was struck from behind by MV#2. MV#1 sustained moderate damages to its entire rear bumper. The operator of MV#1 stated she sustained non-incapacitating injuries to her neck and back area but refused medical attention and will seek evaluation at a later time. The front seat passenger of MV#1 did not report any injuries. The operator of MV#2 stated he was travelling on Centre St directly behind MV#1 also attempting to make a right turn onto Washington St. The operator of MV#2 stated he was looking towards his left side and took his foot off the brakes momentarily and struck MV#1. MV#2 sustained minor damages to its front bumper. There were no reported injuries to the operator of MV#2 or the front seat passenger. Neither vehicle was towed.

Woinshet Melesse was operating Ma Reg 2AZL35 (vehicle #2) S/B on Needham St. Melesse states that vehicle #1 pulled out of the parking lot striking her vehicle on the right front side. Fouad Moahammed was operating Ma Reg7EA349 (vehicle #1) attempting to take a left turn out of the parking lot onto Needham St. Mohammed could not give me an explanation as to what happened at the accident. She stated that the sun was in her eyes, however, the sun was over her right shoulder and not facing her vehicle. No injures, no tows.

ON 12-15-2020 AT APPROX. 1416HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT 1400 WASHINGTON ST. I SPOKE TO THE OPERATOR OF VEHICLE #1. DRIVER STATES SHE WAS BACKING FROM 1400 WASHINGTON BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO BE ON 1403 WASHINGTON. SHE STATES WHILE BACKING SHE HIT VEHICLE #2. DRIVER OF VEHICLE #2 STATES SHE WAS TRAVELING STRAIGHT AHEAD WHEN VEHICLE #1 HIT HER VEHICLE. VEHICLE #1 HAD MINIMAL REAR END SCRATCHES. VEHICLE #2 HAD EXTENSIVE FRONT END AND HOOD DAMAGE. ALL PARTIES REPORTED NO INJURIES. ALL PARTIES ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

The operator of MV1, Baruch Ticho, stated that he was traveling Northbound on Waverly Avenue and came to a complete stop at the stop sign before attempting to take a left turn onto Washington Street. Mr. Ticho stated that he did not see the bicyclist at anytime because she was wearing all dark clothes and collided with her while attempting to turn. The bicyclist, Ellen Messing, stated that she was traveling East on Washington Street in the marked bike lane and believed MV1 saw her and was letting her pass. The MV continued on after stopping at the stop sign and t boned her bicycle. Ms. Messing had no visible injuries but stated she had leg pain and was transported to the BI. Ms. Messing's bicycle sustained major damage so I transported it to the station and secured it in support services to be picked up by Ms. Messing. MV1 sustained minor driver side and front bumper damage and was driven from the scene. Officer Stake took photos of the scene which were submitted to IT to be attached to the report.

MV1 was travelling Southbound on Walnut St. when MV1 turned right to travel Westbound onto Austin St. and struck the open driver side door of MV2 with their front passenger side tire. The operator of MV1 and MV2 both stated they were okay and declined to be evaluated by paramedics. MV1 had a flat tire and was towed from the scene by Todys' Towing Service. MV2 was also not able to be driven and was left legally parked in front of 10 Austin St. to be towed at a later time by their insurance. Both operators received a crash report number in regards to the accident.

On Friday December 18 , 2020 at approx. 1331 hours I responded to 326 Fuller Street for a two motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival I observed the crash site area was in a parking lot belonging to 326 Fuller Street. The parking lot roadway was wet , but was sanded and salted. The bend in the parking lot was at a slight incline. I met with the operator of vehicle one Mr. Sherman, he stated he was traveling eastbound in the bend of the parking lot looking to the right to meet some friends. He stated he did not see vehicle two until last second and struck vehicle number 2. Mr. Sherman stated he had no injuries at this time. I then met with operator of vehicle two Mr. Nill, he stated he traveled into the parking lot from Comm Ave heading south. He stated as he was traveling in the parking lot when he observed vehicle one coming around the bend so he stopped to let vehicle one travel through. He stated while he was stopped the operators attention was to the right (south) and vehicle one struck his vehicle. Mr. Nill stated he had slight pain in the neck area from the impact but refused medical treatment. Todys towing arrived on scene and towed vehicle two to their tow lot due to the damage. All proper paperwork was completed for towed vehicle. All parties advised of the process and if any medical conditions change.
