Michelle Lee was operating vehicle #2 N/B on Bullough Pk at Mill St. Lee states that she stopped at the stop sign and then attempted to take a left turn onto Mill St. At that time Lee states that vehicle #1 struck her on the left side. Luis Aguilar was operating vehicle #1 E/B on Mill St. Aguilar states that vehicle #2 pulled out in front of him as he was driving straight. A check with the RMV revealed that Aguilars license is supnded. Aguilar was issued citation # T1272109 Ch. 90 Sec 23 Operating after suspension. No injures both vehicles towed.

The operator of Vehicle #1 stated that his vehicle was struck from behind by Vehicle #2. Operator #2 then stated, "there is no damage", and left the area. Operator #1 then took down the registration of Vehicle #2, and notified the police. I observed significant fresh damage to the rear bumper of Vehicle #1. Vehicle #2 is registered to a Ms. Jessica Gavell. I was later able to learn that the vehicle was being operated by her cousin, a Mr. Michael Gavell. Mr. Gavell was issued a citation for a violation of M.G.L. Ch.90/24-Leaving the Scene of Property Damage, and Ch.90/23-Operating MV after suspension due to OUI. (See Incident#19005785). None of the parties involved complained of injury, when asked.

Operator of MV1 states she was traveling eastbound on Washington Street approaching the intersection at Walnut Street. Operator of MV1 states the traffic light was green and when she entered the intersection she was struck by MV2 who was taking a left turn from Washington Street westbound onto Walnut Street southbound. MV1 sustained minor damage to the front right bumper. Operator of MV2 states she was traveling westbound on Washington Street approaching the intersection at Walnut Street. Operator of MV2 states she was in the left turn/straight traffic lane when she attempted to take a left turn onto Walnut Street traveling southbound when MV1 struck MV2 in the right rear corner panel. Operator of MV2 states she didn't have the green arrow light, yet had the steady green traffic light. MV2 sustained damage to the right rear corner panel/tire and needed to be towed. It should be noted when the traffic light turns green facing westbound on Washington Street, it gives drivers in the left turn/straight traffic lane the opportunity to take a left onto Walnut Street or travel straight on Washington Street before traffic can flow on Washington Street eastbound. This is displayed by a green arrow light and steady green light. Due to my investigation, I cited the operator of MV2 in hand Massachusetts Uniform Citation #T1441446 for MGL Ch. 90 Sec. 14 Fail to yield right of way when turning

Operator 1 was attempting to parallel park in a parking space in front of 1241 Centre St when she was sideswiped by MV2 who was attempting to pass her. No injuries reported. MV1 sustained minor rear drivers side damage. MV2 fled the scene prior to my arrival. NPD located the vehicle at the owners residence which had matching damage and paint transfer on the front passenger side. Multiple attempts were made to contact the owner with negative results, he will be mailed Mass Uniform Citation #T1440739 for leaving the scene ( property damage) and marked lane violation.

The owner of MV1 stated that he was working inside Mr. K's Discount Wine and Spirits when a witness came into the store and asked if he owned a white Toyota Camry parked outside and then explained that another car had backed into it and then left the scene. When he came out he observed a large dent in the passengers side rear bumper that was not there before. Officer Selig tracked down the owner of MA Registration 3EF576 at 20 Hale Street and the operator of MV2 admitted to being in the parking lot but denied striking MV1. It should be noted that while at Mr. Wendt's residence both Officer Selig and I observed MA reg 3EF576 parked in driveway of 20 Hale Street with damage to the left rear bumper consistent with how the witnesses stated MV2 struck MV1. Based on the 2 witness statements that express that the operator of the Nissan Pickup knew he struck another vehicle and still left the scene I issued the operator of MV2, Mr. Spencer Wendt, Massachusetts Uniform Citation T1443928, a criminal application to appear in Newton District Court for 90-24 Leaving the Scene of Property Damage. A copy of this report as a well as the criminal application were placed in the court prosecutors mailbox.

Opr of V1 stated he was behind a vehicle at the stop sign. He stopped, drove past the vehicle and drove through the intersection. At this time, he made contact with V2. Opr had minor injuries and signed a refusal. V1 suffered damage to the left side and Tody's towed the vehicle. Opr of V1 was given MA Uniform Citation T1444242 for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign (M.G.L. Chapter 89/ Section 9) Opr of V2 stated he was traveling southbound when he realized V1 went through the stop sign. At this time, he could not stop and made contact with V1. Passenger in V2 stated they did not see the vehicle until they made contact. V2 had significant damage and Tody's towed the vehicle. V2 had no injuries. Witness Jolie, spoke to Officer Dragone and stated she was at the stop sign waiting for traffic. At this time, V1 drove around her, through the stop sign, and hit V2.

MV1 operator states he was driving Southbound on Parker St when he believes he may have nodded off. This resulted in his vehicle hitting two light poles and causing damage to a residential fence. Damage to the vehicle was observed all in the front. No injuries were reported by MV1 operator. A medical refusal was signed. Tody's was notified and took possession of the vehicle after arriving. A call went out to Eversource and Verizion to notify about the damage done to the two poles. Eversource employee responded and stated the poles were not in any risk of falling over. Verizon was left a message incuding the two pole numbers. The home owner of 84 Ridge Ave where the fence was partially damaged was left a message to call the NPD. Samuel Nurko was issued a citation(T1442789) for 89/4a(marked lanes violation). I then cleared without further incident.

MV1 was traveling EAST (MA Reg: 179WT7, a 2010 Mazda MX5) on Webster St. MV2 was traveling SOUTH (MA Reg: 8NM969, a 2016 Audi A4) on Cherry St. MV1, operator Michael Zolli, stated he was traveling east on Webster St, stopped a the intersection and proceeded into the intersection when the light turned green. A witness (Norma Lemus) in the vehicle behind Michael stated the same and said they watched the white vehicle (MV2) proceed through the intersection when it was clearly a red light. MV2, operator Benjamin Lin, stated that he was traveling through the intersection of Webster St and Cherry St, looking around for street signs/directions when he collided with MV1. After colliding with MV1, MV2 then collided with a city light pole, knocking it down completely. Benjamin was given MA Uniform Citation T1441742 for 89/9 - Red Light, Fail. Both parties signed medical refusals. Both vehicles were towed by Tody's towing.

RP David Alessi who is an employee for the chestnut hill mall stated he was alerted to a light post down outside of the mall in the parking lot. David stated he met with operator of MV#1 that stated he was backing up did not see the light poll behind him. He struck the light poll causing it to uprooted and fall over. MV#1 was not on scene I gathered the information from RP David. MV#1 was operating a garbage truck for company JRM whom is subcontracted out with the mall. I was not able to reach the drive, he will not be issued a citation. I then cleared with no further incident.

Based on observations, and statements made, the following occurred. M/V#1 parked in the parking lot of Stop N Shop on Needham St. She stated that she went shopping, and returned to her vehicle, she observed damage to the left rear. She also found a note from a Kathleen Bateman. The note stated that Kathleen Bateman witnessed an white Mercedes SUV, back into M/V#1, then drive away. She included a MA. Marie states that she was at the Walnut St. stop sign attempting to turn left onto Crafts St. Marie looked to the right and an unknown vehicle motioned for her to pull out and take a left turn. Marie then attempted to take the turn and struck vehicle #2. Wilbur Ernesto was operating vehicle #2 S/B on Crafts St. Wilbur states that vehicle #1 unexpectedly pulled out of the stop sign, attempting to turn left, and struck his veiled. I observed the heavy damage and deep gouge to the driver(cid:31)s side door of MV#1. The gouge had cut open the outer panel of the door revealing the mechanical components inside the door. OpMV#1 stated he could not open the door, but the vehicle was drivable. I next conducted an inspection of the exterior damage of MV#2. I observed that the plastic bumper was separated from the frame and several cracks and breaks on the bumper. I further observed damage to the wheel well panel. OpMV#2 stated the vehicle was drivable. -There were no injuries reported at the scene and all parties declined medical assistance. Neither vehicle was towed from the scene. I did observe small scratches on the right rear passenger door of MV#2 that resulted from the collision with MV#1. - Both Operators moved off the road in front of 18 Old Colony Rd to safely handle the collision matter. There were no injuries reported at the time of this report. Neither vehicle was towed from the scene and OpM#1 was cited for Operating After Suspension (T2079504). See report19050505 for criminal application. MV#1 was left legally parked in front of 18 Old Colony road waiting to be picked up by another company employee. OpMV#1 took an Uber home from the scene.

Upon arrival, I met with operator of MV1 who stated that he was traveling Northbound on Centre Street, when he went through the red light and hit MV2. There was also minor damage along the right side of the vehicle indicating the operator possibly hit unknown objects before the collision with the pole. I called and spoke to him. Martin admitted to operating V2. Opr of V2 stated he was traveling straight and V1 merged and struck the vehicle. The operator of MV1 (Ma reg NETH42) stated she was traveling WB on Beacon Street when she approached the stop light at the intersection of Chestnut Street. Operator of MV1 stated she was stopped waiting for the light to turn when her vehicle was bumped from behind. The operator of MV2 (ma reg 6EGK30) stated to the operator of MV1 that she was sorry but had an appointment to get to. When I arrived on scene only MV1 was still at the intersection. The operator of MV1 got the driver's license information and vehicle information before she left the scene. The operator of MV1 informed me that the operator of MV2 wanted to pay for the damage but was late for an appointment. Medic Two was called to the scene for Operator one and the passenger. Both parties were complaining about minor injuries. Operator 1 stated she had back, head, neck and knee pain. Passenger in MV1 stated he had back pain. Both parties signed a medical release form. The damage to MV1 was minor and only on the rear bumper. Since MV2 was not on scene I was unable to determine the extent of damage or if the driver suffered any injury. I made contact with the owner of the vehicle who stated he let the operator of MV2 borrow his vehicle while he was working on her vehicle. The owner of MV2 owns an auto body shop. He provided me with the driver's telephone number where I was only able to leave a voicemail. After further investigation I cited (MA Citation T2080370) the operator of MV2 with Newton City Ordinance Failure to use care while stopping. I citation was mailed to the operator.

Operator of MV1 stated he was driving westbound on Homer Street when he looked down at his car radio and struck a MV2, which was parked unoccupied on the right side of the roadway in front of 301 Homer Street. He stated he did not have any medical conditions that would prohibit him from completely the testing properly. He was taken to the side of the road on Homer Street that was well lit by a street light, and we used the fog line as a guide. Operator of MV1 completed the testing and it was determined that he was not under the influence. He did state that he had been up since 0630 and was fatigued while driving. Operator of MV1 was provided a ride home by N-493 and was issued Citation #T2079603 for 90/13-Impeded Operation (Using Radio while driving) and 89/4A-Marked Lanes Violation (Crossing fog line).

I spoke with Ms. Oconnell who states she was operating MV2, rear ended MV1, didn't think there was any damage, "panicked" and fled the scene after the operator of MV1 asked to speak with her. A query of Ms. Oconnell's license status revealed it as suspended, which she stated she was aware of. THROUGH MY INVESTIGATION IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE OPERATOR OF MV 2 DID NOT HAVE A VALID MASSACHUSETTS DRIVERS LICENSE AND WAS ISSUED MA UNIFORM CITATION T2013016 FOR CH.90 S.10 UNLICENSED OPERATION. A LICENSED OPERATOR SHOWED UP ON SCENE AND TOOK POSSESSION OF MV2. HE ALSO HELPED TRANSLATE FOR THE OPERATOR OF MV 2 WHO DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. Mv#1 operator stated he came to a stop at the end of Pleasant St. #1 stated he started to nose out into Centre St due to his view was obstructed by traffic stopped in the right lane. #1 stated he proceeded left N/B when he was struck on his driver's side front by Mv#2 that was travelling on Centre St S/B. #2 operator stated he was travelling straight ahead on Centre St S/B in the left lane approaching Pleasant St. #2 stated when he reached the intersection, #1 emerged out of Pleasant St colliding with #2 on his passenger side front. No injuries. #1 sustained significant driver's side front end damage, towed by AAA. #2 appeared to sustain minor damage to passenger side front end. #2 operator was unlicensed and issued citation (C#21048428). #2 was left parked on the side of the road for a licensed operator to take possession.

On 11/26/2021, at 1619 hrs, Newton Police were dispatched to the intersection of Watertown St. and Walnut St. (both public ways within the City of Newton) for a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles. The operator of MV#1 stated they had a green light as the were traveling southbound on Walnut St. through the intersection of Watertown St. when MV#2 collided into their passenger side. The operator of MV#1's (2) infant children were located within child protection devices in the second row of the vehicle and were reported to be uninjured. The operator of MV#1 and his wife whom was seated in the front seat of the vehicle declined medical attention for themselves and their children. The operator of MV#2 admitted to police he was turning right (southbound) onto Walnut St. from Watertown St. when he collided into the passenger side of MV#1. There is a posted "No turn on right" sign on the corner of Watertown St. and Walnut St. Damage to MV#1 and MV#2 was consistent with MV#2 colliding into MV#1's passenger side. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene and the operator of MV#2 was issued Ma Uniform Citation; T20144922 for: Mgl Ch. 89. Sec 9. Red light violation. Mgl Ch. 90. Sec. 11. No License in Possession.

MV1 was traveling WESTBOUND on Commonwealth Ave when it collided with MV2 at the intersection of Valentine St. MV2 was traveling NORTHBOUND on Valentine St when it entered the intersection of Commonwealth Ave and collided with MV1. There was major damage to MV1 front bumper specifically the driver side front. There was major damage to MV2 driver's side rear wheel area. Tody's towed MV2 and MV1 used a private tow. No injuries and all parties signed a refusal. A witness who was driving EASTBOUND on Commonwealth Ave watched MV2 "bomb the stop sign" on Valentine St entering Commonwealth Ave. Another witness who was driving WESTBOUND directly behind MV1 saw MV2 roll through the stop sign, hesitate and then accelerated into the intersection. MV2 operator was given in-hand, monetary citation, T2080936 for Stop Sign, Fail (c89/s9) (the stop sign on Valentine St before the intersection at Commonwealth Ave).

On 4/22/22 I responded to 101 Charlemont St. for a past MVA that occurred on 4/21/22 at 0700. Operator of MV1 stated they were backing out of their driveway and onto Charlemont St. when MV2 was traveling Eastbound and struck the back of their vehicle. MV1 sustained damage to the rear end. Operator of MV2 stated they were traveling Eastbound on Charlemont when they didn't notice MV1 backing out of their driveway. The front of MV2 hit the rear of MV1. MV1 sustained damage to the front end. MV2 was issued MA Uniform Citation #T1447649 for Ch. 90 Sec. 9 Unregistered Motor Vehicle (Straight Expiration). It should be noted MV2 was down at an auto body shop in Scituate at the time I took the report. As of 4/28/22 the vehicle's registration is now active.

The operator of Vehicle #1 produced a Massachusetts ID, and an expired Florida Driver's License. A routine query could not find an active Driver's License for him. He was cited for a violation of M.G.L. Ch. 90/10-Operating Without a License. As his vehicle's registration was active, and it was in a valid parking spot, he was allowed to leave it to await a licensed operator to drive it.

MV1 was stopped in traffic heading WESTBOUND at the Walnut St/Watertown St red light with a few cars in front of him. The eastbound side of Watertown St has one lane that becomes two about 100ft before the red light intersection for a left turn only lane. MV1 was in the rightmost lane planning to continue straight on Watertown St. MV2 was behind MV1 heading WESTBOUND as well and planning to turn left onto Walnut St but the turn only lane wasn't clear yet so MV2 went around MV1, over the double yellow line and into the turn only lane. MV2 sideswiped MV1. MV1 sustained damage to its driver's front side. MV2 sustained damage to its passenger rear side. No injuries and both vehicles were still operable. MV2 operator was issued in hand MV citation for Marked Lanes 89/4A.
