The owner of Vehicle #1 stated that she witnessed the rear driver's side of her bumper get damaged by a FedEx truck was reversing into the parking lot at 74 Bridge St. The plate she offered me did not come back. I have spoken to a manager at the FedEx corporate office named Dan Grouts. His information was given to Ms. DaFonseca to resolve this matter.

OPERATOR OF MV 1 STATED HE WAS TRAVELING WESTBOUND ON NEWTONVILLE AVE AND CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP AT THE STOP SIGN BY WALNUT ST. MV 1 STATED HE WAS THEN REAR ENDED BY MV 2. OBSERVED NO DAMAGE TO MV 1 AND NO INJURIES REPORTED. OPERATOR OF MV 1 WAS ADAMANT THAT MV 2'S FRONT WINDSHIELD WAS COVERED IN ICE AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. OPERATOR OF MV 2 STATED SHE WAS TRAVELING WESTBOUND ON NEWTONVILLE AVE AND COULDN'T STOP IN TIME WHEN MV 1 STOPPED AT THE STOP SIGN IN FRONT OF HER. MV 1 STATED SHE BARELY TAPPED MV 1. I OBSERVED NO DAMAGE TO EITHER VEHICLE AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED.

Mv#1 operator was towing a disabled Mv (#2) with a dolly wheel trailer on Cummings Rd W/B. #1 turned right N/B going uphill on North St from Cummings. At that time, the safety chain broke free from the wheel attached to the trailer. #2 dislodged from the trailer and rolled down North St about 40-50ft over a small retaining wall and into the front edge of the residence at 66 Cummings Rd. Appears to be no damage to retaining wall, minimal damage to corner of house and some bushes in front of the house. No injuries. #2 was pulled away from the house with no further damage by Tody's using the ramp flat bed truck. Tody's towed #2 to their storage yard. Home owner was notified of damage.

Operator of MV1 states she parked MV1 on Walker Street, while she was visiting a friend and when she came out to her vehicle she found damage to the drivers side door,left front corner panel and left front tire rim. Operator of MV1 states two people witnessed the hit and run who were both on scene. The first witness, Aaron Creecit, was making deliveries for UPS when he saw MV2, which was a motor cycle with a side car attached to it, take a left from Proctor Street onto Walker Street and struck MV1 with the side car portion of the motor cycle and left the scene. The second witness, Jeanette Even, who lives at 30 Walker Street witnessed the hit and run and stated she saw MV2 take a left from Proctor Street onto Walker Street and struck MV1 and left the scene. The first and second witness took down the registration plate (MA Reg: 2H7713) which came back to 27 Brooks Ave. I responded and found the motor cycle in the driveway covered by a blue tarp. I lifted the tarp and found damage on the right side portion of the side car, which would be consistent with the hit and run. I spoke with the operator of MV2, who states the motorcycle is new and she didn't realize she hit MV1. I issued the operator of MV2 in hand Massachusetts Uniform Citation #T1441458 for MGL Ch. 90 Sec. 24 (2) Leaving the scene of property damage (crash)

OPERATOR OF MV 1 STATED AS HE WAS MERGING OFF OF THE EXIT 21 RAMP ONTO WASHINGTON STREET A PEDESTRIAN WAS CROSSING THE ROAD SO HE STOPPED TO LET HIM GO. HE STATED AS HE STOPPED FOR THE PEDESTRIAN TO CROSS, HE WAS STRUCK IN THE REAR BY MV 2. MODERATE DAMAGE SUSTAINED TO MV 1 AND NO INJURIES REPORTED. OPERATOR OF MV 2 STATED HE WAS TRAVELING BEHIND MV 1, ALSO MERGING ONTO WASHINGTON STREET WHEN MV 1 SUDDENLY STOPPED TO LET A PEDESTRIAN CROSS. HE STATED DUE TO THE QUICK STOP HE WAS UNABLE TO BRAKE IN TIME AND REAR ENDED MV 1. MODERATE DAMAGE SUSTAINED TO THE FRONT OF MV 2 AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE PEDESTRIAN WHO WAS CROSSING THE STREET STAYED ON SCENE AND CONFIRMED THAT HE WAS TRYING TO CROSS THE STREET AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT.

Opr of V1 stated he was behind a vehicle at the stop sign. He stopped, drove past the vehicle and drove through the intersection. At this time, he made contact with V2. Opr had minor injuries and signed a refusal. V1 suffered damage to the left side and Tody's towed the vehicle. Opr of V1 was given MA Uniform Citation T1444242 for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign (M.G.L. Chapter 89/ Section 9) Opr of V2 stated he was traveling southbound when he realized V1 went through the stop sign. At this time, he could not stop and made contact with V1. Passenger in V2 stated they did not see the vehicle until they made contact. V2 had significant damage and Tody's towed the vehicle. V2 had no injuries. Witness Jolie, spoke to Officer Dragone and stated she was at the stop sign waiting for traffic. At this time, V1 drove around her, through the stop sign, and hit V2.

On 04/17/2019, I responded to the parking lot of 73 Walnut St for an accident. MV1 stated that she was driving her vehicle (MA Reg:2889DC) slowly through the parking lot when MV2 backed out of a parking spot and collided with her. MV2 was not on scene during my arrival but left all of her information. MV1 sustained damage on the passengers side. MV2 sustained damage on the passengers side rear bumper. Neither vehicle required a tow.

The operator of MV1 stated that she was traveling southbound from Quinobequin Road onto Ellis Street when the right rear of her vehicle was struck by MV2 when they failed to stop at a stop sign. The operator of MV2 states that she was traveling Eastbound coming off of Boylston Street when she failed to see the posted stop sign subsequently striking MV1. MV1 sustained major damage to the right rear wheel and airbag deployment and was towed from the scene by Todys. MV2 sustained moderate damage to the front bumper but was driven from the scene. Medics evaluated both parties and they signed patient refusals. The operator of MV2 was giving in hand MA uniform citation T1443935 for 89-9 failure to stop.

On 05/21/19, at 0614 hrs, I responded to Los Angeles St at California St for a minor two car MVA. Upon arrival, I observed MV1 and MV2 to be facing northbound on Los Angeles St. MV1s rear end was in close proximity to MV2s front end. I observed minor damage to MV2s front end on the drivers side. The operator of MV1 stated he was reversing to park when MV2 pulled behind him and they collided. The operator of MV2 stated he pulled onto Los Angeles St and MV1 backed into him. No injuries.

The operator of MV1 was parked in his vehicle in front of 25 Fountain St when he was struck in the rear by MV2. The operator of MV2 stated he was backing his truck up and collided with the rear end of MV1. MV1 sustained damage to the drivers side rear bumper. MV2 sustained damage to the drivers side rear bumper as well. Neither vehicle required a tow and both parties stated that they were not injured.

On 6/13/19 I responded to 19 Sutcliffe Pk for a report of a MVA. Upon arrival I spoke with the operator of MV#1 who stated he turned onto Sutcliffe Pk to turn around and when he came back down the hill his brakes wouldn't' work when he struck MV#2 which was legally parked on the street. The owner of MV#2 was on scene and was not inside the vehicle at the time. There was heavy rear end damage and the owner stated he would call for his own tow first thing in the morning. MV#1 had air bag deployment and heavy front end damage. NFD and medics responded to evaluate the operator of MV#1. The operator had no injuries and signed a patient refusal. Tody's towing responded and towed MV#1. MV#2 had a dealer plate DUKE, but did not come back to anything through the registry. The vehicle was a 2006 black Bentley Flying Spur, VIN# SCBBR53W96C034217. John Bortone owns Velocity Motors out of 14 Hawthorne St in Newton and stated he recently purchased the vehicle out of Florida.

OWNER OF MV1STATED THAT HIS VEHICLE WAS PARKED ACROSS THE STREET FROM 100 DAY STREET AND HIS VEHICLE WAS STRUCK BY MV 2 WHICH WAS BACKING OUT OF A DRIVEWAY AND STRUCK HIS VEHICLE ON THE PASSENGER REAR SIDE. MODERATE DAMAGE SUSTAINED AND NO INJURIES. A WORKER AT 51 HOLMAN ROAD STATED HE HEARD A LOUD NOISE, LOOKED OVER THE FENCE AND OBSERVED A LARGE GRAY SUV THAT HAD JUST STRUCK MV 1. HE OBSERVED MV 2 LEAVE THE SCENE WITHOUT STOPPING. THE WITNESS STATED HE OBSERVED THE DRIVER TO BE A WHITE FEMALE MIDDLE AGED AND BELIEVED THE VEHICLE BACKED OUT OF 100 DAY STREET. I ALSO SPOKE TO THE OPERATOR OF MV 2 IDENTIFIED AS JANE HOPKINS-WALSH WHO STATED THAT SHE DID BACK OUT OF HER DRIVEWAY AT THE TIME FRAME IN QUESTION AND STATED SHE MAY HAVE STRUCK MV 1 BUT DID NOT REALIZE SHE HAD DONE IT. SHE WAS ADVISED I WOULD DOCUMENT THE ACCIDENT WITH A CRASH REPORT.

MV 1 WAS MERGING ONTO WASHINGTON STREET HEADING EASTBOUND FROM EXIT 21 OF THE HIGHWAY WHEN HE WAS REAR ENDED BY MV2. MV 1 SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO REAR OF VEHICLE AND OPERATOR OF MV 1 SIGNED A PATIENT REFUSAL FROM MEDICS ON SCENE. MV 2 WAS BEHIND MV 1 MERGING ONTO WASHINGTON STREET HEADING EASTBOUND AND REAR ENDED MV 1. MV 2 SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO FRONT BUMPER AND NO INJURIES REPORTED. BOTH OPERATORS STATED THERE WAS A VEHICLE IN THE BREAKDOWN LANE OBSTRUCTING THEIR VIEW OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC ON WASHINGTON STREET MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO MERGE.

Operator of MV1 stated he was traveling Northbound on Walnut Street when MV2 was traveling Eastbound on Linwood Ave, crossing Walnut St. As MV1 approached the intersection MV2 was crossing and MV1 struck MV2. Operator of MV2 stated after she stopped at Linwood Ave and Walnut St, she was crossing Walnut St heading eastbound when MV2 came out of nowhere and attempted to swerve out of the way. MV2 struck the side of MV1 and proceeded to drive over the median up the embankment. MV1 had moderate damage to the front driver side bumper and rear driver side bumper. The operator was transported to Newton- Wellesley Hospital and a Daniel Kibugo (S23136964) took possession of the vehicle. MV2 had significant damage to the front bumper and hood. Also, damage to the passenger side, front and rear. MV2 was towed by Tody's. Photos were taken of the damage to the City Property and the SIM card was placed in the IT Mailbox.

On Monday, July 1st 2019 at 0740 hours, I responded to a single car Motor Vehicle Accident outside the area of 140 Vine St. The vehicle was a 2016 Black Merz Mass Reg # 5AX136 being operated by 17 year old Eleanor Grace Bomberg. The vehicle was headed north on Vine St when it veered off the side of the road and collided with a city tree outside of 140 Vine St. The vehicle flipped over and landed in the middle of the street. The vehicle suffered extensive damage to the front end and right side. The operator suffered minor injuries to her arm. Eleanor's father, Patrick Bomberg, signed the patient refusal. Todys's towed the vehicle. Pictures were taken and submitted to the IT Bureau.

Operator of vehicle 1 states she was sitting inside her parked vehicle at a metered space, when she was struck in the left rear by vehicle 2 as it was parallel parking. The operator of vehicle 1 states she got out and talked to the operator of vehicle 2 but then got back into her vehicle to call a friend as she did not know what to do in a situation like this. While the operator of vehicle 1 was on the phone, the operator of vehicle 2 left the area. I was able to get in contact with the company vehicle 2 is registered to. I spoke to the operator of vehicle 2 who states he was in Newtonville today and did strike another vehicle while parallel parking The operator of vehicle 2 states he spoke to the other operator thought they agreed neither vehicle had damage and went their separate ways. Both operators were informed to contact their respective insurance companies. No injuries reported.

On Monday July 22nd, 2019 at 0200 hours, I responded to the intersection of Beacon St and Langley Rd for a hit and run with property damage. One of the City of Newton street signs and street lights located on Langley Rd was knocked over by a vehicle. Based on the damage, it appears the vehicle went the wrong way and drove west on Langley Rd past the intersection and struck the traffic sign and traffic light. Their were no witnesses to this hit and run and pictures were taken at the scene.

OWNER OF VEHICLE STATED HE PARKED HIS 2015 WHITE LEXUS RX350, MA REG 9KYS80 IN THE PARKING LOT OF STOP AND SHOP PLAZA, #191 WATERTOWN ST AT APPROXIMATELY 08:00 HOURS. HE CAME OUT ABOUT AN HOUR LATER AND FOUND THAT SOMEONE HAD STRUCK HIS VEHICLE. VEHICLE #2 FLED THE SCENE WITHOUT MAKING THEMSELVES KNOWN.

On Wednesday August 14th I responded to 42 Waterston Road for a report of a past hit and run. Upon arrival I met with Anne Giudice who stated her vehicle was struck while parked and unoccupied in front of her house sometime between 11am and 1245pm today. I noticed the vehicle to have been sideswiped and had white paint transfer and indentation all along the drivers side of the vehicle from bumper to bumper. The damage appears consistent with being hit by a white work van or SUV. A canvass of the area for a possible involved vehicle yielded negative results.

Operator#1 stated she was going w/b on Cabot St when vehicle #2 turned left in front of her attempting to enter onto Langdon St from Cabot St e/b, causing the crash. Operator #2 stated she was going e/b on Cabot St and was turning left onto Langdon St when she was struck by vehicle #1. Operator #2 further stated she didn't see vehicle #1 coming until it was to late. She thought vehicle #1 was going too fast. There were no injuries and no vehicles towed.

The operator of MV #1 (MA reg 466xd6) stated she was traveling eastbound on Prospect St. towards Washington St. when her vehicle was struck on the rear driver's side door by MV2. The operator of MV #2 (Pupils reg 108630) stated he was pulling out of the parking lot of the Learning Prep School, 1507 Washington St. when he collided into the passenger side of MV #1. The operator of MV#2 stated they looked in both directions prior to turning westbound onto Prospect St. but a vehicle parked by the school parking lot exit obscured his view of traffic. Heavy damage was observed to the passenger side door of MV#1. Minor damage to the driver side bumper was observed on MV #2. The operator of MV #1 along with her passengers were not injured and declined medical attention. The operator of MV #2 along with the children inside were not injured and declined medical attention. Tody's Towing Service arrived on scene and towed MV #1 from the scene. MV #2 was able to be driven away the scene.

Operator of MV1 stated she was parked facing Northbound on Dedham Street in front of Country Side School when a School Bus (Bus #354) struck her driver side mirror. Operator of MV1 stated she attempted to stop the bus but was unsuccessful. Operator of MV1 stated the bus was last seen traveling toward Needham Street. Operator of MV1 stated she was not injured. MV1 had minor damage to the driver side mirror. A voicemail was left for the Eastern Bus Company Newton office to identify the driver of the Bus.

Vehicle 1 owner stated that he parked the car in his designated parking spot in the back of 181 Lexington St apartments. He returned home from work around 430pm with no damage on his vehicle. At approximately 1930hrs he went out to take the trash and noticed his vehicle had damage. No note was left with no information on other vehicle. Checked the area with negative results of other vehicles with damage.

I SPOKE TO THE RP IDENTIFIED AS JUILANNA BERRY WHO STATED THAT SHE PARKED HER RENTAL VEHICLE ( FL REG KCSF74) ACROSS THE STREET FROM 45 BEETHOVEN AVE IN A LEGAL PARKING SPACE. WHEN SHE CAME BACK TO HER VEHICLE SHE OBSERVED FRESH DAMAGE TO THE DRIVERS SIDE MIRROR WHICH APPEARED TO HAVE GOTTEN STRUCK BY AN UNKNOWN VEHICLE WHO DID NOT LEAVE THEIR INFORMATION.

MV#1 was traveling southbound on Oak St. Due to the snowy, wet conditions MV#1 lost traction with the roadway and skidded into the Saco St. sign. Damage was observed to the driver side front bumper of MV#1. No injuries were reported and MV#1 was able to be driven from the scene. The Saco St. sign was damaged and left on the side of the road. The city of Newton Public Works Deptartment was notified about the damage to the sign and photos of the damage were given to the Newton Police IT Bureau.

On 12/19/2019 at 14:43 hours Newton Police dispatch received numerous phone calls about a white male whose face was covered in blood and was riding on an electric motorized scooter south bound on Walnut St near number 100. Walnut St is a public way in the city of Newton. Approximately two tenths of a mile south 100 Walnut St, Ofc Garcia stopped the male on the scooter. Ofc Garcia stated that the male on the scooter was evasive when answering his questions and claimed that he did not realize that his face was covered in blood. The male on the scooter was identified as Gregory David Brown. Brown was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital for treatment. Prior to Brown being transported I was dispatched to the area of 100 Walnut St for a report of a male on an scooter who had crashed into a south bound vehicle in traffic on Walnut St and another vehicle that was parked in front of number 73. Upon my arrival I spoke with Penni Rochwerger and Nikita Espinal. Rochwerger stated that she was driving south bound on Walnut St across from 100 when she activated her vehicle's four way flasher and stopped her vehicle to let Espinal who was the front seat passenger out. Rochwerger stated that south bound traffic stopped behind her vehicle after she came to a stop adjacent to Espinal vehicle that was parked facing south in front of 73 Walnut St. Espinal stated that she checked over her right should to see if it was clear to open her door and it was . Espinal stated that as she opened her door to exit a male on scooter crashed into the door and fell to the ground. Both Rochwerger and Espinal stated that the male on the scooter did not provide his name or address and continued south bound on Walnut St with his face coved in blood. Rochwerger's vehicle sustained damage to the front passenger side door that would not closed all the way. Espinal vehicle also had damage to it, the rear driver's side lower quarter panel was struck. I responded to Newton Wellesley Hospital to speak with Brown. When I arrived and spoke with Brown he was evasive with his answers . When I asked Brown what had happened he gave conflicting answers and contradicted himself. Brown stated that he was riding his scooter on the roadway south bound on Walnut St be could not recall any other details. When I asked Brown if he was wearing a helmet as required by MGL 90/1E he stated he couldn't recall. Rochwerger, Espinal and Ofc Garcia all stated to me that they did not see Brown wearing a hamlet. There was an unconfirmed post by a person named Tricia Marucci to the Facebook group Newton Parents stating that at 14:45 hours on 12/19/2019 saw Brown hitting a defect in the roadway in the area of Crafts St by California St that caused him to loses control of his scooter and fall face first onto the pavement. In her post Marucci stated that Brown was cover in blood from facial lacerations, and that he refused medical aid and continued to ride his scooter south bound towards the entrance to Walnut St. I left a message for Marucci to contact me and as of the writing of this report she has yet to do so. While at the hospital I ran Brown's name and date of birth via the MA RMV data base in order to issue him a citation for not wearing a helmet. The query of Brown via the MA RMV data base reviled that Brown's MA driver's license statutes was suspended. On 07/11/2018 admitted to a finding of sufficient facts to one count of MGL 90/24 OUI liquor. Brown received a Continued With Out Finding for 18 months. In addition Brown pleaded guilty to an additional count of MGL 90/24V Child Endangerment While OUI. Brown received a 90 day sentence in the Middlesex House of Correction which was suspended for 18 months. Brown also received a one year loss of his driver's license. Brown is on active probation out of Newton District Court until 07/21/2020. Biased upon the statements made to me I issued Brown MA Criminal Application T 2012526 for violations of MGL 90/24(2) Leaving The Scene Of An Accident Property Damage , MGL 90/1E Operation Of A Motorized Scooter Without A Valid License and MGL 90/1E Operation Of A Motorized Scooter With Out A Helmet. As of 12/20/2019 Brown was discharged from Newton Wellesley Hospital.

Owner of vehicle #1 reports he parked his car on the street across from #12 Lombard St when vehicle #2 struck his car as it was backing out from his driveway at #12 Lombard St. Operator #2 vehicle was backing out of his driveway to his home #12 Lombard St when he backed up into vehicle #1 while it was parked across from his residence. Note operator#2 left scene prior to my arrival but owner of parked vehicle who was working in the street and heard the crash was able to get #1's information before he left the scene.

On Thursday, January 23, 2020 while assigned to Traffic unit N525, I responded to the intersection of Brookline Street and Hartman Road, Newton for a report of a motor vehicle/pedestrian crash involving a City of Newton Crossing Guard. The weather at the time of the crash was overcast. The road surface where the crash took place was dry. Brookline Street and Hartman Road are both public ways maintained by the City of Newton. On arrival, the injured pedestrian was in the process of being transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital with minor injuries. I spoke with the operator of the vehicle involved in the crash, Menachem Uminer (S43996134). Uminer stated he was operating his vehicle on Brookline Street (S) towards Hartman Road. Uminer stated he was stopped in traffic on Brookline Street prior to the crash. Uminer stated the vehicle in front of him proceeded to travel straight from it's stopped position and he then began to follow the traffic on Brookline Street. Uminer stated he did not see anyone in the vicinity of his vehicle as he began to travel straight from his stopped position. Uminer stated as he was traveling by Hartman Road, the front passenger side area of his vehicle made contact with a pedestrian on the right side of Brookline Street at Hartman Road. Uminer stated he did not see this party until after they were struck and he then proceeded to pull his vehicle over. Uminer stated he was operating his vehicle at a very low speed at the time the collision took place. After speaking with Uminer, I observed the white 2017 GMC Yukon (MA: 9NX525) involved in the crash parked on Brookline Street (S) just past Hartman Road. Uminer stated the vehicle had been moved after the collision took place. I observed no obvious damage to the body of the vehicle on the front passenger side area where the collision took place. The front passenger door mirror was folded inward towards the door. Uminer stated he believes the front passenger door mirror was the point of contact between his vehicle and the pedestrian. I spoke with a witness to the crash, Ashley Garcia (S94193596). Garcia stated she was attempting to cross Brookline Street at Spaulding Lane. Garcia stated she entered the marked crosswalk and was a few steps into Brookline Street when a black colored vehicle traveling on Brookline Street (N) slammed on its brakes near the crosswalk. Garcia stated she looked to her left at the vehicle and then heard a thud to the right from the area where the crossing guard was standing near Hartman Road. Garcia stated she looked over and saw a crossing guard on the roadway on Brookline Street (S) at Hartman Road. The injured pedestrian involved in the crash is Cassandra Alexander (S23636307). Alexander is a crossing guard for the City of Newton and is assigned to the intersection of Brookline Street and Hartman Road for the Memorial Spaulding school crossings. This crash occurred while Alexander was performing her official duties. Alexander was wearing her department issued yellow reflective jacket at the time of the crash. I spoke with Alexander at Newton Wellesley Hospital where she was being treated for her injuries. Alexander stated she was performing her duties as a crossing guard at the intersection of Brookline Street and Hartman Road. Alexander stated she had just finished crossing two pedestrians in the marked crosswalk on Hartman Road when observed a pedestrian enter the crosswalk on Brookline Street at Spaulding Lane. Alexander stated she began to enter the intersection of Brookline Street at Hartman Road with her hands up and her department issued yellow reflective jacket on in an effort to stop traffic in the area to allow the pedestrian in the marked crosswalk safely cross. Alexander stated she was struck on her left side by a passing vehicle. Alexander stated she did not see the vehicle and fell to the roadway. Alexander stated as she was falling to the roadway she extended her right arm in an effort to brace her fall. Alexander stated she had injuries to her arms and legs and was sore from the collision. I spoke with a second witness to the crash via telephone, Anand Vaidya (S43996134). Vaidya stated he was stopped in traffic behind MV1 on Brookline Street (Southbound). Vaidya stated he observed the vehicle in front of MV1 proceed straight on Brookline Street after being stopped in traffic. Vaidya stated he then observed MV1 proceed straight on Brookline Street at Hartman Road at a low rate of speed. Vaidya estimated the speed of MV1 at this time to be 5 miles per hour. Vaidya stated a crossing guard was on the right side of the roadway on Brookline Street at Hartman Road wearing a yellow and black reflective jacket and snow pants. Vaidya stated the crossing guard had her back towards him and MV1, and extended her arm out to stop traffic. Vaidya stated at this time MV1 rolled by the crossing guard at a low rate of speed and the front right fender area of the vehicle hit the left rear leg/lower back area of the crossing guard. Vaidya stated the crossing guard bounced off of the car and fell to the roadway. Vaidya stated he believes MV1 was unaware he hit the crossing guard and observed the vehicle travel another 10 feet until it came to stop on Brookline Street. Vaidya stated the crossing guard was not in a marked crosswalk at the time of the crash. After speaking with all parties involved, Uminer will be cited with Massachusetts Uniform Citation T0115905 for Chapter 90, Section 14 (Failure to slow for a pedestrian in the roadway). Photos were taken of the vehicle and scene and submitted to the IT Bureau.

Vehicle One stated while exiting the main entrance at Newton Wellesley Hospital he was struck in the drivers side by Vehicle Two which came from the driveway to the front parking garage of NWH. Vehicle Two stated she could not recall the events leading up to the accident. The damage to both vehicles is consistent with Vehicle One's version of the events. The operator of vehicle one was evaluted by Ambulance One and signed a patient refusal.

MV1 operator was driving westbound on Commonwealth Ave (public way), attempting to take a left onto Chestnut St (public way) southbound. MV1 operator stated her traffic light had a green left arrow. MV1 was struck on the driver side by MV2. MV1 sustained heavy side damage, leaked gasoline, and had airbag deployment. MV1 operator refused medical attention and MV1 was towed by Todys. MV2 operator stated he was driving northbound on Chestnut St trying to stop for a red light at the intersection of Chestnut St and Commonwealth Ave but was unable to. MV2 operator struck the driver side of MV1, and MV2 sustained heavy front end damage. MV2 operator refused medical attention, and MV2 was towed by Todys.

Owner of V1 stated he was in the YMCA swimming. When he came out he was notified V1 was involved in a MVA. Owner of V1 stated he had to be at an appointment so he left. Later in the day, the Owner of V1 called for assistance. Owner of V1 showed me minor damage (cracked bumper). It should be noted I could not see the damage until he pointed it out. I had to bend down to see the damage. Witness stated she saw V2 back up into V1. Witness stated she took an image of V2 and told the Opr of V2 she hit V1. Witness went into the YMCA and gave them the information. V2 left the scene. I called the Owner/Opr of V2. Opr of V2 stated she was unaware of the damage. Opr of V2 stated she thought she felt a bump while backing up, got out of V2, looked for damage, did not see any, and left. Opr of V2 stated she was backing up to leave the parking space. No injuries and no vehicles were towed.

The owner of MV1 states that he parked his car out front of 20 Tanglewood Road between 1000 and 1130 hours and when he returned to his vehicle there was a note on the winshield from a neighbor stating they witnessed a Black Lincoln SUV (MA Reg: 1ATF47) back into his van. MV1 sustained moderate damage to the front bumper. A queerie of 1ATF47 yielded a Black Licoln SUV with an owner of Alla Subach out of Brookline. Brookline police were able to provide me with a contact number of 7813675616 which I called and was able to speak with Mrs. Subach. Mrs. Subach states that she was aware she backed into the car but was in a rush so she told her friend who lives on Tanglewood Road to tell the owner of MV1 when he returned. Unfortunately Mrs. Subach's friend missed the owner which gave the appeareance of a hit and run. I provided Mrs. Subach with a copy of the report number and advised her how to handle these matters in the future. Neither car required a tow and there were no injuries sustained.

On 3/3/2020 at approx 1020hrs while assigned to 497 I responded to the area of 2150 Washington St for a report of a two car crash without injury. Upon arrival i met with the operator of Ma Con Reg V30821 Timothy MILLS and Ma Com Reg P45249 Charles BURGESS. BURGESS stated he was merging onto Washington St from 128NB Off Ramp when he was struck from behind by MILLS. No damage to BURGESS's work truck , minor front left damage to MILLS work truck.

Vehicle #1 was traveling South on Centre St. and Vehicle #2 was traveling behind Vehicle #1 on Centre St. Vehicle #1 began to stop due to the traffic stopping in front of her for a pedestrian crossing. Vehicle #2 did not stop in time and struck the rear of Vehicle #1 causing damage to the rear of Vehicle #1. No parties were injured. Medical attention declined. Operator #1 stated she was shaken. Operators were advised how to file their reports. No vehicles were towed. All operators and vehicles were active.

MV1 (Ma Reg. 8AV736) was traveling eastbound on Commonwealth Avenue and began turning left onto Rowe Street while MV2 (CT Reg. 597JRH) was stopped at the end of Rowe Street where it intersects with Commonwealth Ave. MV2 attempted to turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue and struck MV1. No injuries were sustained and no tow was necessary.

On Thursday March 26, 2020 at approximately 0218 hours I responded to 84 Derby st for a report of a car accident. Upon arrival a Blue Honda Sedan MA reg 1HLk36 was on the street outside of 84/86 Derby St with major damage to the front and rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was unoccupied and came back to 86 Derby St. I spoke to the resident, Dawna Noguira, who stated her 14 year old daughter Sabrina Dirgham was the operator of the vehicle. I Then spoke to Sabrina who stated she took her mothers car without her permission. Sabrina stated she reversed out of the driveway and drove over the sidewalk across the street and hit the wall at 79 Derby St. She then stated she attempted to turn but accelerated too fast which caused her to hit her neighbors side of the duplex and vehicle MA Reg 312FG7 at 84 Derby St. The impact of the collision with the house caused the vehicle to roll back into the middle of Derby street. Sabrina then fled from the vehicle, abandoning it in the street, and going into her house because she was scared. Sabrina declined medical attention and her mother signed a refusal. Vehicle 1 was towed from the scene by todys. Sabrina was given in hand MA Citation T2012818 for 90/10 Unlicensed Operation, 89/4A Marked Lanes Violation, 90/24C Leaving the Scene of Property Damage and MA Citation T2012819 for 90/24 Use Without Authority and 90/24E Negligent Operation. A message was left with the city building inspector to check the house tomorrow. Pictures of the damage of both vehicles, house and wall were submitted to IT.

The operator of MV1 (MA Reg: S35483) stated he was pulling out of a driveway onto Court St. MV1 stated the he did not see MV2 driving down Court St. It should be noted that Court St is a one way road. The operator of MV2 (NH Reg: GUS-BUS) stated he was driving eastbound on Court St when MV1 pulled out of a driveway in front of him. MV2 stated that MV1 did not stop to make sure the road was clea. MV2 stated that he tried to avoid MV1 but could not, due to him pulling out so quickly. MV3 (MA Reg: 1AMC30) was parked legally and unoccupied during the accident. MV3 was stuck by MV1 after the initial collision. MV1 sustained front end and passenger side damage. MV2 sustained passenger front tire and fender damage. MV3 sustained drivers side and front end damage. All parties involved declined medical attention.

The operator of MV#1 was traveling westbound on 40 Rochester Road when the wires from pole 75/6 caught the top on the vehicle. The utility pole came down with the wires in the middle of the roadway. Eversource responded to replace the pole. Unknown height of MV#1.

Mv#1 was travelling on Kenwood Ave S/B, veered off the road to the right and struck a city light gas pole in front of #11 Kenwood. #1 operator stated she got distracted by admiring the blooming flowers on a tree across the street, taking her eyes off the road resulting in the collision with the pole. Pole broke in half near the middle of it. NFD was able to shut the gas off. National Grid was notified to respond. City was notified of the pole damage. Mv#1 appeared to sustain light damage to the front passenger side front end. I took photos of pole damage. Camera memory chip with photos placed in the IT bureau mail slot.

On Sunday, 5/31/20 at 1652 hrs, I (N493) responded to the area of 432 Cherry St. for a single motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, I observed MV#1 (MA Reg: 6WS227) had collided into utility pole ( 249/47) adjacent to 432 Cherry St. Damage was observed to MV#1's entire front end. The operator stated he was traveling northbound on Cherry St. when he became distracted, lost control of the vehicle and collided into the utility pole. The operator of MV#1 stated he was not injured and signed a patient refusel. Tody's Tow service was contacted to remove the vehicle from the roadway. The utility company was contacted as a precaution to evaluate the damage done to the poll.

Operator of MV 1 stated that he backed into MV2 while conducting a three point turn. MV 2 was unoccupied and legally parked.

Operator Of Motor Vehicle #1 stated that she was driving Southbound on Walnut Street and Motor Vehicle #2 cut her off to take a left onto Kirkstall Road and did not have time to brake. Motor Vehicle #1 sustained major front end damage. Operator of Motor Vehicle #2 stated that he was traveling Northbound on Walnut Street and was taking a left turn onto Kirkstall Road. Operator of Motor Vehicle #2 stated that no vehicles were in sight so he took the turn and motor Vehicle #1 struck his vehicle. Motor Vehicle #2 moderate front drivers side damage.

On 08/09/2020 at 1500 hrs, I was dispatched to the area of Chestnut St. and Gordon Rd. for a Motor Vehicle Accident. Dispatch stated a UHaul truck had collided into a city tree. Upon arrival, I observed a Uhaul truck, on the sidewalk in front of 458 Chestnut St. The truck was facing northbound on Chestnut St. and had heavy front end damage as it was driven into tree #2.The operator stated that tree #1 had fallen onto the road, causing her to swerve, hit the curb and then collide into tree #2.. There were tire marks leading from the curb tree #2. The Newton Forestry Department was contacted to remove the tree #2 from the roadway, and to evaluate tree #1. (Both city tree's). Tody's Tow service arrived on scene and removed the Uhaul truck from the sidewalk. The operator stated she was not injured and declined medical attention. The homeowner at 458 Chestnut St. was give instructions on how to obtain a copy of this report, as potential damage was done to her property. Pictures of the damaged Uhaul truck, and both tree's were taken on the (N493) camera and submitted to the Newton Police It Bureau.

Opr of MC1 stated he was traveling straight attempting to leave the parking lot. Opr MC1 stated while he was trying to pull forward he was struck by V2. Opr of V2 stated he was attempting to leave the parking lot. Opr of V2 stated he was emotional and upset and tried to pass the two motorcycles. Opr of V2 stated he got too close and made contact with MC1. MC1 had minor damage and the Opr was seen by the Medics. V2 had minor damage and was seen by the Medics. Both signed patient refusals.

While working N494 I was dispatched to a possible hit and run involving a parked motor vehicle in front of 16 Westchester Road. Upon arrival I spoke with the reporting party who stated that her neighbor saw MA REG 367NC9 back into her sons vehicle then park a few houses up on the same street. I was able to make contact with the registered owner who made contact with his daughter who was driving the vehicle. Operator of Motor Vehicle #1 stated that she was attempting to turn around pulled into the driveway and when she was backing up slowly struck Motor Vehicle #2 which was park. Operator of motor vehicle one stated that parked her car and walked over to motor vehicle #2 and did not notice any damage which is why she left not notifying anyone. I spoke to the registered owners of both vehicles and they decided to personally handle the matter. I helped both parties exchange information.

On 8/18/20 at 1548 hrs I responded to Sutcliffe Pk for a Waste Management truck that had taken down a telephone pole. The truck was turning around at the top of Sutcliffe Pk and got caught in the wires and an overhanging tree. As the truck continued to progress it dragged more of the wires and snapped a telephone pole causing it to fall on the street. The operator states that the truck is 13' 6" high. 5 pictures were taken of the scene and were turned over to IT. No injuries reported on scene. Eversource responded and restored power. Eversource, Verizon, and Comcast all had wires damaged due to the accident.

On Sunday 8/30/2020 at approximately 1839 hours while assigned to marked unit n499 I was dispatched to the parking lot of Milton's (176 Boylston Street) for a report of a minor motor vehicle crash with no injuries. Upon arrival I spoke to the operator, GILLESPIE Patrick, of motor vehicle #1. Patrick states that he was driving westbound through the Milton's Parking lot trying to get to the exit of 200 Boylston Street ( Chestnut Hill Square). While he was travelling straight motor vehicle #2 started backing out of a parking space in front of Miltons and struck his vehicle on the drivers side. After speaking with Patrick I spoke to the operator of motor vehicle 2, DE ROSA LOPES Miriam, who states she was backing out of a parking space and didn't see motor vehicle #1 behind her. striking the vehicle with the rear end of hers.

Owner of vehicle #1 Stated his vehicle was parked overnight in a legal parking spot in front of 10 Carter St. MV #1 was struck by an unkown vehicle sometime between 1830 hrs the previous evening and 0900 hrs.

Operator of Motor Vehicle #1 stated that he was driving Eastbound on Oliver Road and he was trying to get through two vehicles that were parked and unoccupied on Oliver Road. Operator of Motor Vehicle #1 stated that he was driving very slowly paying close attention to one side and thought he had enough room on the other side however clearly misjudged how much room he had. Motor Vehicle #2 which was parked and unoccupied sustained major passengers side damage. It should be noted Motor Vehicle #2 was dragged a few ft and ended up in front of the driveway of 140 Oliver Road.

On September 19th, 2020 at approximately 13:20 hours while assigned to N491 I responded to a report of a two car MV crash at the intersection of Washington St(E/B) at the Centre St bridge(N/B). On my arrival I spoke with operator #1, Charlie Margosian. He reported first going E/B on Washington St in the lane for traffic to veer left towards the Centre St bridge when MV #2 entered his lane from his right( passenger side) striking his vehicle from his front to his rear on the passenger side. Operator #2identified as Won K.Yun was heading E/B on Washington St in a lane that was for straight ahead traffic when he signaled to make a lane change to go towards the Centre St bridge when he collided with vehicle #1. He never saw vehicle #1 prior to changing lanes.

The operator of vehicle 1 stated she was traveling Westbound of Mossfield Rd when a large tree fell on top of her car. The tree which belongs to 11 Mossfield Rd landed on the hood, windshield and front half of the roof. The impact caused major damage to the vehicle. The occupants were able to exit the vehicle and reported no injuries. Pictures of the incident were taken by me and submitted to IT.

On Wednesday October 28, 2020 at approx. 0900 I responded to 24 Maguire Court for a report of a crash with property damage involving a tractor trailer. Upon arrival I met with the operator of the tractor trailer Mr. Williams, he stated he was traveling on Maguire Court delivering equipment to a local business, and while turning into the business parking lot he misjudged the turn and the trailer struck a fence,posts,wall belonging to 24 Maguire Court. I advised the owners son who was on the property of the crash and advised I would have a report. There were no reported injuries and all parties advised of the process. I also conducted a Level one inspection on the truck/trailer. The following below is a list of violations and citations VIOLATIONS C.O. 19-75 FAILURE TO USE CARE IN TURNING 393.47D INSUFFICIENT BRAKE LINING- AXLE 5 RIGHT SIDE BRAKE LINING HAS APPROX. 3 INCH CRACK IN LENGTH. CITATIONS T2016068 C.O. 19-75 FAILURE TO USE CARE IN TURNING $ 20.00 T201069 CHAPTER 90 SECTION 7 BRAKE VIOLATION $ 40.00 All paperwork/inspections/citations were issued to the operator and advised of the process.

On Thursday 10/29/20 at approximately 0541 hours while assigned to marked unit n499 I was dispatched to the area of 130 Vine Street for a report of a single vehicle roll-over crash. Upon arrival myself and n496(Ofc. Howes) observed a white SUV on its roof facing westbound in the eastbound lane of Vine Street (a public way owned, operated and maintained by the City of Newton). Upon our arrival Newton Firefighters had extracated the operator, (FOSTER Isabelle), who was sitting on a large rock in the front yard of 130 Vine Street. FOSTER was visibly upset, but didnt appear to have any major injuries. I asked FOSTER what happened and she stated she was travelling from Westgate Rd in Boston on her way home to Wellesley. She took a right turn onto Vine Street from LaGrange Street and began travelling westbound. FOSTER stated that she was travelling too fast and didnt realize how the road curved causing her to veer off the road and strike a large tree in the front of 130 Vine Street. FOSTER was travelling at a speed fast enough to cause the vehicle to flip onto its roof in the opposite lane of traffic. FOSTER admitted to me she was travelling too fast on the road. Vine street is a winding road that is not very well lit. Speed limit on the road is 20mph and its estimated FOSTER was travelling at least 30-45mph. The speed coupled with FOSTER's lack of familiarity with the area and her inexperience driving were all contributing factors to the crash. FOSTER was issued Massachusetts Uniform Citation T2012909 with the following civil motor vehicle infractions; C90 s18 SPEEDING (Posted) C89 s4a Marked Lanes Violation. FOSTER was transported to Beth Israel hospital by the medics and I was unable to issue the citation in hand at the time of the crash. Due to FOSTER's age (17) I also wanted to notify her parents and meet with them and FOSTER upon her release from the hospital. At approximately 1700 Hours I met with Scott Foster(Father) in person, Jodi Foster (Mother) and Isabelle foster via cell phone (speaker phone). I discussed the charges with all parties and explained the citation to Isabelle. Citation was given in hand to her father, Scott Foster and brough the citation to Isabelle.

Operator of Motor Vehicle #1 stated she was driving Northbound on Judith Road and was slowing down to stop at the end of the road to take a left (Eastbound) onto Brentwood Street. Operator of Motor Vehicle #1 stated that Motor Vehicle #2 was driving Eastbound on Brentwood Avenue and took a left onto Judith Road and drove right into the front of her vehicle. Operator of Motor Vehicle # 1 stated that Motor Vehicle #2 turned into her lane of travel. Operator of Motor Vehicle # 2 stated she was driving Eastbound on Brentwood Avenue and was turning onto Judith Road and Motor Vehicle #1 came out of nowhere and struck her vehicle. Motor Vehicle #1 and Motor Vehicle # 2 sustained moderate front end damage. there were no injuries due to this accident and neither vehicle was towed.

Spoke with vehicle owner, Kasra Hadidi, who stated that he parked his vehicle in front of his residence, 291 Dorset Rd, at approximately 1800 hrs on monday 11/30/2020. When he returned to his vehicle at approximately 1800 hrs on Tuesday 12/01/2020 he drove it for a short distance and returned home. It was then that he noticed that the vehicle had been damaged. There is damage to the front bumper, passenger side, front passenger side quarter panel and rear passenger side quarter panel. I spoke with a teenage neighbor across from 291 Dorset Rd who stated that he heard the crash at approximately 2300 hrs on Monday 11/30/2020. when he looked out his bedroom window which is across from 291 Dorset Rd he observed a small dark SUV had crashed into the front of the victims vehicle. The small SUV then left the scene striking the rear of the victims vehicle. Neighbor is unsure of the make, model, color or any information about the operator.

The owner of MV1 (MA Reg: 7ZS276) stated that she parked her vehicle on Court St at 0900 and when she returned at 1400hrs she noticed fresh damage. I observed minor damage to the drivers side front door and fender. There were no witnesses to the hit and run. I canvassed the area with negative results. Court St is a one way going east. MV1 was parked legally on the side of the road.

ON 12-11-20 AT APPROX. 1250HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE HIT AND RUN. UPON ARRIVAL I SPOKE TO ( MARINA BARAKNOVA ). SHE STATES SHE WAS GETTING HER SON FROM SCHOOL AT LINCOLN-ELIOT. AS SHE WAS WALKING BACK TO HER HUSBANDS CAR ( VEHICLE #1 ) SHE SAW VEHICLE #2 BACK INTO IT AND LIGHTLY TAP IT. SHE TOOK A PICTURE OF VEHICLE #2 PLATE AS HE DROVE AWAY. I WAS ABLE TO CONTACT THE OWNER OF VEHICLE #2 AT 13 CRAFT ST. HE STATED HE WAS GETTING HIS GRANDSON FROM SCHOOL. HE STATED HE BACKED BUT DOES NOT RECALL HITTING ANY VEHICLE. HE STATES HE BACKED VERY SAFELY AND HAS A REAR VIDEO CAMERA AS WELL AS A DISTANCE ALARM. BOTH VEHICLES HAD NO VISIBLE DAMAGE. BOTH PARTIES REPORT NO INJURIES. ALL PARTIES WERE ADVISED TO CONTACT THEIR INSURANCE COMPANIES. CLEARED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

ON 1-9-21 AT APPROX. 0727HRS. WHILE WORKING N492 I TOOK A REPORT FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT. UPON ARRIVAL AT THE REAR OF 1321 WASHINGTON ( NEWTON POLICE STATION PARKING LOT ) I SPOKE TO THE DRIVER OF VEHICLE #1. DRIVER STATES SHE WAS BACKING HER PERSONAL VEHICLE INTO ONE OF THE PARKING STALLS AT THE REAR OF THE POLICE STATION. SHE STATES WHILE BACKING SHE LIGHTLY TAPPED THE FRONT OF NEWTON POLICE VEHICLE 1309 WITH THE REAR OF HER VEHICLE. DRIVER STATES THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO HER VEHICLE. THERE WAS A SLIGHT SCRAPE TO THE FRONT FENDER OF NEWTON VEHICLE 1309. DRIVER STATES HER VISIBILTY WAS OBSTRUCTED BY THE SUN SHINING IN THE REAR VIEW MIRROR. WHEN HER REAR PROXIMITY ALARM FAILED TO SOUND SHE THOUGHT SHE HAD CLEARED VEHICLE #2. APPROX. 8 PICTURES WERE TAKEN BY NEWTON 491 ( OFF CONARY ) AND WERE PLACED IN I.T. BOX. DRIVER REPORTED NO INJURIES. DRIVER ADVISED TO CONTACT HER INSURANCE COMPANY.

The operator of MV#1 stated he had slowed to a stop just past the posted stop sign on the corner of Reservoir Ave. and Lee Rd. The operator of MV#2 passed MV#1 on the right, sideswiping it, causing minor damage to MV#1's right side panel and significant damage to MV#2 left side panel. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven away from the scene.

The operator of Vehicle #1 stated that as he was travelling Northbound on Warwick Rd he lost control of his vehicle in the ice and collided with the tree. The vehicle sustained front end damage. The operator declined medical attention when it was offered.

Mv 1 was traveling north on St James Ter when operator lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a wooden guardrail at the end of St James Ter (dead end street). Mv was towed. Operator was arrested OUI (see report #21008159)

The owner of MV#1 stated she had parked her vehicle in front of 50 Union St on Saturday 03/13 and discovered a hand written note on her windshield. The note was from a party who witnessed MV#2 struck MV#1. MV#1 sustained minor damages to its driver's side door (Lower panel). I spoke to the witness who stated on Saturday 03/13 at 14:30 he was sitting outside at 45 Union St (The Bar-A-Mor Restaurant) and observed MV#2 attempting to parallel park behind MV#1. The witness stated he heard a loud bang and observed MV#1 shook. The witness then observed 2 Asian parties (1 male party and 1 female party) exit MV#2 while carrying carpet/ rugs walking northbound on Langley Rd. The witness stated he was unsure if the male or the female party was operating MV#2. The witness described MV#2 as a black colored "BMW X5" SUV bearing New York registration GFS4413. The witness stated he was unsure what part of MV#2 made contact with MV#1 but believes it to be either its front passenger side tire area or rear passenger side tire area. I spoke to the operator of MV#2 and she stated she is the owner of a BMW X5 SUV bearing New York registration GFS4413 and was in Newton Massachusetts on Saturday 03/13 delivering some carpet/ rugs to a nearby business. The operator of MV#2 stated she was unaware she had made contact with any vehicles. The operator of MV#2 was forthcoming with her information and provided her driver's license number along with her insurance provider. Based on the statements made to me, I will not pursue this accident further. The operator of MV#2 was provided with this accident report number and advised to contact her insurance provider.

The operator of Vehicle #1 stated that he struck Vehicle 2 as he was travelling Northbound on Jewett St. It should be noted that Vehicle #2 was parked, and both vehicles sustained minor damage. All parties declined medical attention when it was offered. All attempts to make contact with Operator #2 have been negative of yet, but will resume on my next tour of duty.

Operator of Motor Vehicle #1 stated he was on California Street Westbound in the right turn only lane attempting to turn right (Northbound) onto Bridge Street. Operator of Motor Vehicle # 1 stated that Motor Vehicle #2 was in the left lane next to him and took a wide turn onto Bridge Street and struck the front end of his vehicle causing moderate front end damage. Operator of Motor Vehicle # 2 stated that he was traveling Westbound on California Street and was taking a right turn onto Bridge Street. Operator of Motor Vehicle #2 stated that he had his right turn signal on and was in both lanes due to the box truck having to make a wide turn. Operator of motor vehicle #2 stated that motor vehicle #1 ignored his turn signal and squeezed in the right lane in an attempt to make a right turn onto Bridge Street. Motor vehicle number #2 sustained minor drivers side damage. No parties were injured due to this accident and neither vehicle was towed.

MV1 was parked just before the corner of Myrtle Ave and Seminary Ave overnight at Lasell College. At sometime between last night and this morning, an unknown MV struck MV1 on the Left front Fender and left the scene without notifying anyone. No injuries reported. No tows requested. Simone Claire Landry(01/21/2000) is the current operator of MV1 and RP, but was not in the parked vehicle during the collision.

On Monday May 10th, 2021 at approximately 0825 hours, dispatch sent units to the intersection of Eldredge Street and Vernon Street for a report of a road rage incident involving a crossing guard and a motor vehicle. When units arrived it was determined that the crossing guard who was performing her duties at the time of the incident, was struck by a motor vehicle that left the scene without stopping. I responded to the scene of the accident to conduct an investigation. At the time of the incident the weather was cloudy and the road surface was dry. Eldredge Street and Vernon Street are both public ways owned and maintained by the City of Newton. Upon arrival I spoke with the injured crossing guard inside the ambulance identified as, Margaret Monbouquette. Margaret was being treated by Fallon Medic 3 for leg pain. Margaret stated she was in the middle of the intersection holding her stop sign up as children and adults were actively crossing to get to the Underwood School. Margaret stated she had all three streets stopped when her attention was brought to the vehicle at the stop sign on Eldredge Street on the one way side. Margaret stated it kept inching forward into the intersection attempting to turn left. Margaret stated she still had people crossing at that intersection so she stepped in front of the vehicle and held up the stop sign directly in front of the vehicle and the female driver. Margaret stated she looked at the female driver and stated "No, stop" and that is when the driver started to yell back at her inside her vehicle but she could not make out what she was saying as her window was rolled up. Margaret stated the driver then tried to drive around her and struck her with the front passenger side bumper of the vehicle. She stated she was struck in her hip area which caused her to fall onto the street. Margaret stated the vehicle never stopped and sped up Vernon Street. Margaret described the driver as a slight female with dark hair driving a dark colored SUV. Margaret was able to provide a license plate of MA REG: 1XCS97. A query of the license plate through dispatch was able to provide an address of 74 Charlesbank Rd, Newton. Officers checked this address but got no response at the door and the vehicle was not located. A witness to the incident identified as Alicia Matos left her phone number and I was able to make contact with her over the phone. She stated she was in her motor vehicle stopped at the stop sign on Eldredge St, directly across from the vehicle involved. Alicia stated she was stopped because the crossing guard was in the intersection holding up her stop sign and was actively crossing children and adults. Alicia states she noticed the vehicle across from her kept creeping out into the intersection trying to take the left turn up Vernon Street. She states the crossing guard walked over to that vehicle and told her to stop and saw the female driver start yelling and pointing her hands at her inside the vehicle. Alicia states the crossing guard then backed up and was looking down at the drivers license plate when the driver drove at the crossing guard and struck her with her front passenger side and knocked the crossing guard to the ground. Alicia states the vehicle clearly made contact and did not stop and left the scene turning onto Vernon Street at a high rate of speed. Alicia states several people in the area came to the crossing guards aid and police and medics arrived shortly. Alicia described the driver of the motor vehicle to be a female with dark hair. The principal of the Underwood School, Suzie Talukdar was present after the accident and stated the secretary of the school received a phone call shortly after the incident from a grandparent of the school. The grandparent was identified as Dawn Coleman. Dawn stated her daughter was driving the vehicle involved and was having anxiety over the incident and didn't know what to do. Dawn identified the driver as Chelsey Sullivan (S83874401). I attempted to make contact with Chelsey at her residence of 74 Charlesbank Rd with negative results. The secretary was able to provide phone numbers for Dawn and Chelsey and I responded to the police station to attempt to make contact. While at the police station, I was notified that Chelsey Sullivan was downstairs in the lobby. I met with Chelsey and she stated the following: She was driving MA REG 1XCS97 a black Toyota Rav4 and was stopped at the stop sign on Eldredge Street the one way side. She noticed the crossing guard in the intersection holding up the stop sign but stated there was no one crossing at the time. Chelsey stated she started to inch forward and wanted to turn left onto Vernon Street as she was in a rush. Chelsey stated the crossing guard came right up to her vehicle and started shouting and holding up the stop sign in her hand telling her to stop. Chelsey stated she was yelling back at her stating that the cars behind her were going so she wanted to go too. Chelsey stated when the crossing guard started to walk away from her, she got very anxious and decided to take the left onto Vernon Street. She stated she saw the crossing guard stumble and fall to the ground but at no time did she think she made contact with the crossing guard. Chelsey stated she drove home and called her mother to tell her about the incident. Chelsey stated she wrote an apology letter to the crossing guard and has really bad anxiety and wasn't sure what to do. I advised Chelsey she needs to follow the crossing guards instructions when they are performing their duties no matter if she thinks the road is clear for her to enter/pass. Chelsey stated she understood and was also advised she will be getting a citation and summons in the mail. Chelsey took me to her vehicle where I took several photographs and submitted them to the IT Bureau. No damage was reported or observed. Massachusetts Uniform Citation 997066AA and criminal application was issued and mailed to Chelsey for Chapter 90 section 24 Operating to Endanger and Chapter 90 section 14 Failure to slow near pedestrian.

Owner of MV2 stated she was parked for work during the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM. Owner, Marissa stated when she came out she noticed the damage and observed a napkin on her windshield. The napkin had the other involved vehicle's information on it. MV2 was unoccupied when struck and sustained significant damage on her driver's side rear bumper and quarter panel. I called and spoke to the Opr. of MV1. The Opr, Alexandra stated she was turning left into the parking spot and struck MV2. Alexandra stated her vehicle was not damaged and she left all the information on the windshield of MV2. No injuries reported.

On 7/7/2021, at 0908 hrs, Newton Police responded to the area of Beacon St. and Paulson Rd. for a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles. Upon arrival, MV#1 was observed with significant damage to the front driver side bumper as well as the front driver side wheel well. MV#2 had minor damage to its passenger side rear bumper. The operator of MV#1 stated she was stopped on Beacon St. by the entrance to Paulson Rd. waiting for the light at Beethoven Ave. to turn from red to green. The operator of MV#1 stated she was stopped behind several vehicles. As the light turned green, MV#1 accelerated and collided into MV#2 which was attempting to go around her in order to turn northbound onto Paulson Rd. from Beacon St. The operator of MV#2 stated he believed MV#1 was "parked" on Beacon St.which resulted in his decision to cross over the double yellow center lane, go around MV#1 and turn onto Paulson Rd. A witness to this collision indicated to police that the operator of MV#2 crossed over the double yellow center lane in an attempt to go around MV#1, which resulted in the collision. The operator of MV#2 was issued MA Uniform Citation T2014489 for: Mgl Ch. 89 Sec. 4A - Marked Lanes Violation. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven away from the scene.

The operator of Vehicle #1, Ms. Lea Roy, stated that as she was travelling Northbound on Adams St she observed Vehicle #2 stopped with it's left indicator light on. Vehicle #2 then proceeded to take the left turn onto Middle St prior to the collision with Vehicle #1. Roy complained of pain to her wrist area, but declined transport. After the collision, the operator of Vehicle #2, Mr James MacCormack exited his vehicle and began to walk over to Vehicle #1. He then fell over and struck his head on the pavement. As he was being treated by the medics, he stated that he suffers from diabetes, and hasn't checked his blood sugar in a while. The medics confirmed that his levels were off. He was then transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital via Medic-5.

Operator of MV1 stated that they were going southbound towards the exit of the parking lot when a Motorcycle stopped to talk to another MV. MV1 looked at the Motorcycle and went around it and struck the light pole. MV1 had front end damage and got a private tow. Operator of MV1 stated that they were not injured. I did not obsevre any damage to the light pole. A licesned operator arrived on scene and took possesion of the MV.

MV 1 was traveling northbound on Langley Road when she lost control of the vehicle and struck MV 2 in the rear and side. After striking MV 2 the vehicle subsequently rolled over and flipped in the middle of Langley Rd. MV 2 was parked and unoccupied Northbound on the side of Langley Rd when it was struck by MV 1. MV 2 subsequently struck MV 3 who was parked and unoccupied in front of MV 2. MV 3 was parked and unoccupied on the side of Langley Rd in front of MV 2 when it was struck by MV 2. MV 1 sustained major damage and was disabled. MV 1 was towed by Tody's due to it being disabled. MV 2 sustained major damage to the center rear and right side and was disabled. MV 2 was towed by Tody's towing due to it being disabled. MV 3 sustained minor damage to the center rear and right side. The operator of MV 1 sustained visible injuries to the face and head area. The operator of MV 1 was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital for treatment. Towed motor vehicle inventory sheets were filled out and filed for both MV 1 and MV 2.

On September 6th, 2021 at approximately 12:47 hours while working N491 I responded to the parking lot to Stop and Shop Plaza, #171 Watertown St, for a report of a crash near Planet Fitness. On my arrival I located both involved vehicles near the CVS. Vehicle #1 was a 2015 Honda Civic, MA reg. 7zg316, operator identified as JITENDIA MISHRA. He reported travelling N/B in the parking lot to the plaza when he had to stop due to vehicle #2 had stopped in front of him. Vehicle #2 suddenly backed up into his vehicle hitting his drivers side front. Vehicle #2 was a 2009 black Toyota RAV4, NY plate HFJ2619, operator identified as Madeleine Lesser. She stated she was in the parking lot of the plaza when she observed a car backing out from a parking space in front of her. She then stopped her vehicle and allowed that vehicle to proceed out. She then had to back up a little to allow room for that other vehicle to back out. She never saw vehicle #1 right behind her. She then backed into the drivers side front quarter. There were no tows or injuries to this crash.

Motor vehicle 1 (MV1) was attempting to take a left hand turn from Paulson Rd. (southbound), onto Beacon St. (eastbound), when motor vehicle 2 (MV2), which was traveling eastbound on Beacon St., crashed into the passengers side of MV1. As a result of the crash MV1 sustained moderate passengers side damage, while MV2 sustained moderate front end drivers side damage.

On 9/9/21, at 1614 hrs, Newton Police and Fire personnel responded to Lowell Ave. at Austin S. for a motor vehicle accident involving a City of Newton student transportation van. Upon arrival, all involved parties including students reported no injuries. Each student's guardian was contacted and responded to the scene to sign a patient refusal and take custody of their child. The operator of MV#1 stated he made a complete stop at the stop sign on Austin St. prior to crossing westbound over Lowell Ave. As MV#1 proceeded across the intersection he was struck on the passenger side by MV#2 (JCS transport van) which was traveling south on Lowell Ave. The operator of MV#2 stated he was traveling south on Lowell Ave. approaching the intersection of Austin St. when he observed MV#1 crossing westbound on Lowell Ave. The operator of MV#2 stated due to the rain and slick conditions he could not stop his vehicle in time prior to colliding into MV#1. No damage was observed to MV#2 (JCS transportation van) however MV#1 sustained damage to its passenger side front and rear door. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene. Pictures of the damage were captured on the N492 camera and will be attached to this report. Both operators were given directions on how to obtain a copy of this report.

The owner of vehicle 1 stated her vehicle was parked and struck at some point during the farmers market in the parking lot of cold springs park. There was minor paint transfer to the rear passenger side quarter panel. There was a note left on her car by two witnesses stating they saw a vehicle hit the car. I responded to the home of the other alleged driver involved and was unable to get a statement from this person. On 9/20 I responded to the home once again and was unable to make contact. I left a note on the vehicle saying to call NPD with my name attached. I also found a phone number to this party in the census, I called and left a voice mail. To be further investigated. 9/22 update, Emma Tsypina has not responded to the numerous attempts that have been made to speak with her about this incident.

The owner of Vehicle #1 stated that her parked vehicle was struck by Vehicle #2 as he attempted to back out of his driveway. I observed fresh damage to the rear passenger door as a result of the collision. The operator of Vehicle #2 stated that as he was backing out of his driveway he struck Vehicle #1 with the rear bumper on the passenger side. He stated that there was little to no observed damage to his vehicle. Neither party complained of injury, and both parties exchanged information.

On 09/27/2021, while assigned to N503, I, Officer Conary, responded to the area of Pettee Street, Emerson Playground, for a minor MVA involving a school bus. Upon arrival, I met with Operator of MV1 who explained to me that MV2 (school bus) had to leave and continue their bus route. Operator of MV1 was able to provide me with the drivers information. Newton Dispatch also called Eastern Bus to confirm the information. Operator of MV1 was parked Northbound on the left side of the street when MV1 hit her rear left quarter panel. MV2 was pulling off to the side by the park to let students out. Operator of MV1 stated she saw student on the bus and got off. She said there was approximately a handful of students (6 or 7). She believes that they were from the Zervas School on Beacon Street. MV2 was the third bus that pulled up at the park to drop students off. I attempted to call Operator of MV1 with negative results but left a message. I tried to call Eastern Bus Company again with negative results. An email was sent to Regina Moody, City of Newton, who oversees the school buses. The traffic bureau has been notified for follow up. SRO of the Zervas School was notified as well. MV1 was able to be driven from scene, and no injuries were reported. On 10/26/21, I followed up with Regina Mooney with the City of Newton and she was able to comfirm that there were a few students on the bus at the time of the accident. Eastern Bus Company is handling the accident.

The operator of MV1 stated that they were at the stop sign on Webster St. and took a left onto Elm heading Southbound. Once on Elm St. MV2 which was parked on the right side of the street, pulled out and hit MV1 on the right side. MV1 had moderate damage to the right side of the truck, and a rear flat tire. The operator of MV2 stated that they were parked on Elm St. and when they went to pull out MV1 crashed into them. The operator of MV2 stated that they checked for incoming traffic and did not see MV1 coming down Elm St. There was major damage to the front of MV 2. The operator of MV1 was able to change the flat tire and take the vehcile, Todys took possesion of MV2. Both parties denied medical attention, and were given the report number.

On Sunday, October 10, 2021, at approximately 1601 hrs, while assigned to N494, I responded to 320 Washington St., the Four Points Sheraton, (rear Centre St. side) for a single motorcycle accident ( MV1- MA Reg 2S2136). Upon arrival, the fire and medics were treating the operator of the motorcycle, identified as BASS, Braxton Lee. BASS stated he came off the Mass Pike Eastbound exit, traveled three lanes to very left lane on the Washington St. rotary (EB), and he hit a pot hole in the road. He stated he then lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown over the handlebars crashing onto the sidewalk. The motorcycle skidded the length of the curb until the stair area of the hotel. BASS sustained injuries to his left shoulder, hands, left torso, knees, and the left side of his head. He was transported by Medic 5 to the BI Boston. The motorcycle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene by Todys. I observed a dip in the left lane where BASS and witness on scene stated he initially lost control of the motorcycle. See attatched photos. Witness statement: MAZZIE, Zach stated he witnessed BASS crash his motorcycle. He stated BASS came off the Mass Pike exit, traveling Eastbound on Washington St., when he proceeded to the left lane, and was thrown from the motorcycle. He stated he saw him hit a bump in the road, at which point he lost control of the bike and crashed, landing on the curb into the fence. He pointed to the area of the bump which I then observed and have included a photo

On November 2nd, 2021 at approximately 10:42 hours while working N491 I responded to the area of Craft St @ Ashmont Ave for a report of a MV crash. On my arrival I located both involve vehicles on Ashmont Ave in front of 49/47 Ashmont Ave. Vehicle #1 was a 2016 black Honda Civic, Ma. plate 941-AJ0, operated by a Seth Blumenthal. He stated he was backing out from his driveway at #49/47 Ashmont Ave when he struck vehicle #2 which was parked across the street. Vehicle #2 was a 2018 black GMC Sierra PU, Ma. commercial plate T97173. Owned by Asphalt Engineering. The operator was parked sitting in the vehicle when vehicle #1 backed into it. The driver was identified as Andrew Devita who was pricing a driveway job in the area of the crash. There were no injuries due to this crash and neither vehicle was towed.

On November 6th, 2021 at approximately 11:16 hours while working N491 I responded to #40 Brooks Ave for a report of a MV crash. On my arrival I located one of the involved vehicles(#1), a 2013 Toyota Tacoma PU, NJ commercial plate, GUTR193. The operator who was standing outside of the truck stated that vehicle #2 was backing out from his driveway across the street #41 Brooks Ave, when he struck his companies truck which was parked in front of #40 Brooks Ave. Vehicle #2 was a gray 2000 Volvo S70, Ma plate 17EL24, operated by a Peter Lewitt. He was backing out of his driveway when backed into vehicle #1 which was parked across the street in front of #40 Brooks Ave. There were no injuries due to this accident and neither vehicle was towed.

On November 23rd, 2021 at approximately 14:08 hours while working N491 I responded to #25 Pearl St for a report of a MV crash with airbag deployment. On my arrival I located the involved vehicle a 2021 black Cadillac, Ma reg. K9195 with extensive damage on the property of a four unit condominium complex that abuts #275 Centre St(Plaza). The operator who was standing outside her vehicle was identified as Margaret Cloherty. She appeared uninjured from this crash. She reported the following: She first entered the parking lot to #275 Centre St which has several different businesses. As she drove through the parking lot her vehicle suddenly began to accelerate. She attempted to brake but her vehicle continued straight through the parking lot continuing to accelerate before finally crashing through a wooden fence and onto the property to #21 to #27 Pearl ST. Ms Cloherty was evaluated by the Medics but refused to by transported to the hospital. She signed a patient refusal form. Her vehicle which appeared to be totaled was towed from the scene by Todys. The property owner of the fence was identified as Steve Knapp 508-958-1906 was contacted by police. He will be provided a copy of this report of his insurance.

The operator of Vehicle #1 stated that she was travelling Westbound on Old Farm Rd prior to the collision with Vehicle #2. The owner of Vehicle #2 stated that his trailer was parked on the roadside of Old Farm Rd prior the collision with Vehicle #1

Unknown vehicle was travelling on Fuller St W/B at #80 Fuller St where the road bends to the right approaching Chestnut St. Based on snowy road conditions, unknown vehicle failed to negotiate bend in road and slid off road to the left. Unknown vehicle bounced off guard rail, hit a right arrow street sign and crashed through the fence belonging to the resident of 414 Chestnut St. Unknown vehicle left the scene and remains unknown. Based on snow accumulation, it appeared crash occurred several hours prior to my arrival. 414 Chestnut St homeowner and other neighbors had no information to provide at this time. The homeowner will contact NPD if any useful video becomes available. City was notified to address the hit right arrow street sign.

OPERATOR OF MV STATED SHE WAS TURNING ONTO NONANTUM PL FROM JEFFERSON ST AND DUE TO THE SNOW ON THE ROAD, HER VEHICLE SLID INTO MV 2'S FRONT END . NO INJURIES FOR MV 1 AND MINOR DAMAGE. OPERATOR OF MV 2 STATED HE WAS TRAVELING ON NONANTUM PL WHEN MV1 LOST CONTROL DUE TO THE ROAD CONDITIONS AND SLID INTO HIS VEHICLE. MINOR DAMAGE SUSTAINED TO MV 2 AND THE OPERATOR WAS TRANSPORTED TO NWH FOR BACK PAIN.

Mv#1 operator stated she was travelling straight ahead on Homer St E/B in the area of #82. Operator stated an unknown small white truck, no further description or plates, was approaching from the opposite oncoming direction fishtailing, veering into her lane of travel. Operator stated the white truck sideswiped her vehicle on her driver's side rear and did not stop, leaving the scene. A check of the area for the white truck was negative results.

On Thursday 2/17/22 at approximately 0920 hours while assigned to marked unit n498 I was dispatched to the area of 1 Saco St. for a report of a single vehicle crash into a tree. Upon arrival the actual address was on Sweet St. and the operator, XIAO Liangping, was being evaluated by Medic 4. XIAO stated to the medics that she was not hurt and denied any medical attention and signed a patient refusal. Upon speaking with XIAO she states she turned onto Sweet Street from Oak Street and maneuvered her vehicle on the right side of the road between 2 parked cars in order to back into her driveway at 1 Saco St. The driveway for 1 Saco St. is located on Sweet Street. XIAO states she accidentally left the vehicle in drive instead of reverse. When she accelerated it caused her to go forward over a curb and into a tree. Damage to the vehicle made it unsafe to drive and I asked XIAO if she wanted the vehicle towed and she stated she did. Upon arrival of Dave Donohue from Tody's she changed her mind and stated she wanted it left in her driveway. Dave stated to XIAO that would be fine, but he advised her to leave the vehicle in the driveway and not to put it in the garage out of an abundance of caution due to prior incidents of other Tesla vehicle catching fire. Dave left the vehicle in her driveway and as Dave and I left the scene XIAO pulled her vehicle into her garage against the recommendation of Dave.

On Tuesday, March 02, 2022 at approximately 2126hrs, I, Officer Fay responded to the intersection of Chestnut St. and Larchmont Ave. for a report of a vehicle that had struck a sign. Prior to my arrival dispatch informed me that the vehicle that had struck the sign was a blue hatchback, but the reporting party was unable to see a license plate. Upon arrival, I noticed tire tracks of a vehicle that had hopped the curb and sidewalk that was travelling Northbound and a yellow pedestrian sign that had been struck. Upon closer inspection of the area I noticed a fire hydrant had been struck as well. The fire hydrant was broken off when hit by the vehicle and had broke through fence of the house at 750 Chestnut St. Pictures of the scene and the damaged property were taken and sent to the IT Bureau to be attached to this report. I spoke to the resident of 750 Chestnut St., Vladimir Valtchinov, in regards to his damaged fence. I also asked Valtchinov if he had heard or seen anything in regards to the incident. Valtchinov stated that he did not see anything, but did hear a loud bang outside his house. I informed Valtchinov that a report would be generated in regards to this incident. Upon canvassing the area in search of the vehicle. I was unable to locate the vehicle. I also spoke to the resident of 757 Chestnut St. who had cameras facing the street, which they stated the cameras did not capture the incident, but are only able to see a live feed.

On 03/08/22 at 14:57 hours, N494 and I Traffic Unit # 523 responded to the Horace Mann School located at 225 Nevada St. for a two car motor vehicle accident involving one of the operator's being struck. The accident occurred on Nevada St. just past a driveway of the Horace Mann School approaching the intersection of Nevada St and Linwood Ave. The weather at the time was sunny/clear and the road conditions were dry. School dismissal is at 14:50 hours and for approximately ten minutes Nevada Street is very congested with vehicles parked on both sides of the street. On arrival, I spoke to the operator of M/V # 2 identified as James Rice (MA D/L # S83251000). Mr. Rice's vehicle is a 2012 Ford Escape color white bearing MA reg. # 6725ZA. The Ford Escape was parked just past a school driveway facing southbound in a legal parking spot. He says he was picking up his child from the school. He further states that he looked and thought it was clear to open his door. He then opened his door and put his left foot and left arm out attempting to exit the vehicle when it was struck by M/V # 1. M/V # 1 struck the outer edge of the door and Mr. Rice's left elbow was also struck during the collision. Mr. Rice complained of left arm pain so Officer Boudreau had Fallon Ambulance respond to the scene. Rice then signed a patient refusal with them. Also inside the vehicle at the time of the crash was his son, Charger Rice. His son was seated and secured in a car seat in the second row of the driver's side of the Ford Escape. There was no injuries reported for him. I observed a crease to the outside edge of his driver's side door. Mr. Rice also stated to me that the crossing guard told him the other operator was speeding before the crash going approximately 25 miles per hour. Next, I spoke to the operator of M/V # 1 identified as Olga Kulakova (MA D/L# S63003743). She was operating a 2015 Infiniti QX60 color black bearing MA reg. # 5TJ151 at the time. Ms. Kulakova states that she was parked approximately twenty five feet back from the crash location also picking up her daughter from the school. After doing the pickup, she then proceeded out in to roadway going southbound on Nevada St. As she was approaching M/V # 2, she says the operator suddenly opened their door and she was not able to react in time striking his car door. She did not believe she ever struck the operator though. No injuries were reported. I observed white paint scrape marks to both her passenger side doors and the side view mirror was also damaged. I then spoke to the crossing guard assigned to the intersection of Nevada St. and Linwood Ave. The guard Jack Boudreau is employed through the City of Newton. I asked him what had occurred with the crash. He stated that he had his back turned away from the crash location when it occurred. He heard the collision which made him turn around. He then motioned for the driver of the Infiniti to pull over and stop. I asked him if he ever saw the Infiniti driving prior to the crash and he stated that he did not. I then inquired about the supposed speeding comment that he made to Mr. Rice regarding the Infiniti. He stated that he never said that to him. Digital photos were taken of the scene and submitted to the I.T. Bureau.

On Tuesday 3/15/22 at approximately 823 hours while assigned to marked unit n498 I was dispatched to the area of Countryside School (191 Dedham Street) for a report of a minor motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival I spoke with the operator, EBRIL-LEL Margarita, of motor vehicle #1, (695DE1). She states her vehicle was parked along the Northbound Side of Dedham Street diagonally across from Countryside School. She was at the back of her drivers side with the rear door open. She states while leaning into the vehicle her door was struck causing damage to the drivers side of her vehicle and rear drivers side door. After speaking with EBRIL-LEL I spoke with the operator, KARTASHOVA Natalia, of motor vehicle #2, ( 5LAA458). She states she was trying to drive passed MV#! that was parked on the side of the road and thought she had enough room between the oncoming traffic and the MV#1. She states EBRIL-LEL opened the door at the last minutes and she didn't have time to avoid hitting the door. During this time of the morning this area is extremely busy with both motor vehicle traffic and pedestrian traffic as it is drop-off for Countryside school. Cars are permitted to park on both side of the street in order to drop their children off at school. The parking situation causes narrow passage lanes

On 4/12/22 I took a Hit and run report at the front desk that occurred at 88 Harvard St. between 4/8/22 and 4/9/22. The owner of MV1 stated that she parked her car in front of her house on 4/8/22 at approx. 1900Hrs. When she came to her car on 4/9/22 at approx. 1600Hrs she noticed that her front right mirror was missing. She stated that she mirror was hit by an unknown MV and was left on the ground broken. There was also as minor scratch on her right door that was caused by the unknown MV. There were no cameras in the area and she is unsure of who might of hit her car.

The operator of MV#1 stated she accelerated once within the driveway of 45 Beecher Ter. causing her to collide into the front right corner of the home. It appears the vehicle then slid approx. 5-10 feet into the fence which runs adjacent to the driveway causing damage to both the fence and retaining wall. Damage observed to the front right corner of 45 Beecher Ter. MV#1 sustained heavy damage to its front end and was towed by its owner. No injuries reported. Homeowner of 45 Beecher Ter. on scene and took photographs of damage to his property.

The owner of MV1 stated he parked his vehicle on Middle Street at 0530 hrs today. When he returned this evening, he observed damage to the front driver side of his vehicle. I checked the area for cameras that may have captured the vehicle that struck MV1, yielding negative results.

Operator of vehicle #1 stated she was travelling northbound on Charlemont St. approaching Needham St. Operator #1 stated she observed vehicle #2, an Eversource truck pulling a trailer with a utility pole, stopped in front of her. Operator #1 stated that she had stopped just to the right rear of vehicle #2 and observed the truck starting to pull forward. Operator #1 stated she was beeping her horn to gain the attention of the driver but could not. The trailer of vehicle #2 struck vehicle #1. (cid:31)(cid:31)(cid:31)(cid:31)(cid:31)(cid:31)Operator of vehicle #2 stated he had stopped on Charlemont St. just prior to Needham St. Operator #2 stated that he did not see vehicle #1 before moving forward and the trailer of vehicle #2 struck vehicle #1.

On June 2nd, 2022 at approximately 13:02 hours while assigned to N491 I responded to #17 Russell Rd for a past hit & run crash. On my arrival I spoke with the R/P, Jason Kenyon. He stated he found a note on his vehicle from his neighbor, Monique Ricard, #18 Russell Rd, stating she observed a dark blue vehicle, Ma plate 3XCB84, operated by a B/M crash into the front of his vehicle. Mr Kenyons vehicle was parked in his driveway facing out. Wit ness thought the operator was going to leave a note but never did. I queried the suspects vehicles registration and it came back on a 2020 Blue Toyota Corolla, to a Samiir Muhamed, #36 Oakcrest Rd, Hyde Park Ma. Dispatch attempted to locate a telephone listing for the owner to no avail. Witness further reported that the suspect vehicle originally came out W/B from Charlesbank Terrence and appeared to have hit his accelerator instead of his brake causing his vehicle to accelerate forward into the driveway of #17 Russell Rd crashing into vehicle #1. Vehicle#2's damage would be on the passenger side front/quarter. video of this crash was later sent to the Traffic bureau. This crash will be further investigated by the traffic bureau.

On 6/7/2022. I responded to Windsor Rd for a report of a 2 MV accident. Upon Arrival I spoke to the operator of MV1 who stated she clipped the front of MV2 which was parked. She stated that she tried parking in front of MV2 and turned to early which caused her to hit MV2. MV2 Had moderate damage to the front right bumper. The owner of MV2 was not in the vehicle but stated she heard the crash. Both parties denied medical attention and both were given the report numbers.

On June 6th 2022, at approximately 1543hrs, I, Officer Dragone, responded in the area of Chestnut St and Beacon St for a report of a rollover motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, vehicle 1 was parked on Chestnut St, just past the intersection at Pine Ridge Rd facing Southbound. The operator of vehicle 1 was accompanied by a juvenile passenger who was in the back seat. Vehicle 2 was rolled over onto the drivers side of the vehicle at the corner of Chestnut St and Pine Ridge Rd. There were yaw marks located in the southbound lane of Chestnut St that trailed behind vehicle 2. Inside vehicle 2, the operator was trapped inside and was not able to get out. There was heavy front end damage to vehicle 1 and heavy damage to the passenger side of vehicle 2 which was the point of impact. Both vehicles had airbag deployment. Operator 1 stated she was experiencing neck pain and the passenger stated she did not have any injuries. Operator 2 was bleeding from the hand and stated she was experiencing pain in her sternum, prior to being extricated by Newton Fire Department. Operator 1 was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital and Operator 2 was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital by Fallon EMS. I spoke to a witness, Agnes Gee, who stated she was traveling Northbound on Chestnut St and she stopped to let vehicle 2 cross the intersection from Pine Ridge Rd. She stated vehicle 1 was traveling Southbound on Chestnut St before the crash occurred. Operator 1 stated that she did not remember anything that happened prior to the crash or which direction she was traveling. She stated she is not familiar with the area and was traveling from her job in Brighton to her home in Swansea, MA. Operator 1 states the last thing she remembered following detour signs prior to getting into the crash. It should be noted that there are detour signs throughout Chestnut St in between Commonwealth Ave and Beacon St. Operator 2 stated she was on Pine Ridge Rd heading Westbound and was crossing over Chestnut St. She stated that a vehicle in traffic let her proceed into the intersection and vehicle 1 was traveling in the Southbound lane prior to colliding into the passenger side of her vehicle. Both vehicles were towed by Tody's Towing. Photographs from the scene were taken to be attached to this report. It is unknown if vehicle 2 caused damage to a utility pole located at the corner of Chestnut St and Pine Ridge Rd; however, photos of the damage were taken and notifications were made to have it assessed.

MV#1 was parked unoccupied in front of 21 Hazelton Rd. Operator of MV#2 was attempting to back down the street when he hit MV#1. He stated MV#1 was in his blind spot. Moderate damage to right rear of MV#1 and moderate damage to right rear of MV#2. Both vehicles driven from the scene.

Operator of Vehicle 1 states he was travelling Northbound on Ferncroft Rd when the operator became briefly distracted by his phone. Vehicle 1 then struck the curb and a tree on the West side of the road in front of #64 Ferncroft Rd, causing extensive damage to the front of the vehicle and airbag deployment. The operator denied any injuries and declined medical treatment. Vehicle 1 was towed from the scene by Tody's Towing. Newton Fire responded to clean up engine fluids that had leaked on the roadway. The witness who initially reported the crash to 911 stated that she observed the operator of Vehicle 1 pass her location at a higher than reasonable rate of speed and was looking down at his phone. I then issued the operator Mass. Uniform Citation #T1448099 (Written Warning) in hand to the operator's mother as his agent for a violation of C90ss13B Texting While Driving

Vehicle 1 was travelling eastbound on Crescent Ave with Vehicle 2 following behind. Vehicle 1 stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Norwood Ave when the operator realized he had passed the residence he was trying to travel to. The operator of Vehicle 1 did not see Vehicle 2 stopped behind him and reversed, causing the rear of Vehicle 1 to make contact with the front of Vehicle 2. Both drivers agreed with this account of events. I observed minor damage to a step on the rear of Vehicle 1 and minor damage to the front bumper of Vehicle 2. Both vehicles were able to drive away from the scene.
